After sitting through a selling meeting they offered me a price. I laughed and said you have got to be kidding. Then they return with thw so called manager. I will cut this down to this and you will be a preferred cutomer and recieve all this extra stuff with a very low intrest. After much pressure and sales tacticts they get me to sign(stupid me) Then all the promisses are gone. No free air line tickets, no cheap air line tickets or any help getting them. Guess what after 1985.00 of my money I wised up and quit paying. Now credit is getting ruined and when asking Global about the dishonest sales practice I am told that it is not there responsibility of what the sales rep says. They get you to sighn and get the money from a outside lender and sit in the middle with no remorse or care of how bad you get screwed. I woul urge every one to complain and try to get a class action law suit now!
Sorry pal, to much lying going on in this buisness. I was threatened several times hung up on several times by global collection people and credit # effected by these crooks. I am just waiting to here when someone has a class action law suit going. I will pay cash for everything I buy from now on and could care less how hard the people who lied to me try to damage my credit. It was amazing when Bonnie told me on the phone that she knows the sales team yhey hire lies but that they are an outside firm and is not globals fault. Oh and by the way I have this on recording from my home office!
I have been scamed by them also Wayne
Hi,
My name is Jason Rzucidlo and I am the Owner & Web Designer of AmericaJR.com. I received lots of complaints about the Global Vacation Network so I decided to do some investigating. I encourage you read and comment on these articles before attending a GVN sales presentation:

Many of the GVN offices will show you a phony BBB rating that is not their true rating. Always check BBB ratings at www.bbb.org.
Secondly, GVN is offering huge prizes like Lincoln Navigators that are impossible to win. They are only giving away 1 and your chances to win it are 1 in a million. So if they told you that you won one, you probably didn't.
Good luck in your travels.

Thank you for your recent posts. The promotions that you mention are provided by marketing companies. I would be happy to put you in touch with a representative that would be able to answer any questions that you have about the promotions you received for attending the presentation. Of course if you have any other questions about the about our travel membership, I would be more than happy to answer them. My phone number is [protected].

I hope you reconsider. I would certainly enjoy having the opportunity to talk with you about both the membership and your concerns. I hope you have great holiday weekend, and I hope I hear from you.

I have to comment--we have belonged to GVN for quite a long time--off the top of my head I would say probably 8 to 10 years.
We have taken many vacations through them. We have done family ones and just the two of us. All but one of the condos we used were great. The one that wasn't we told them about immediately and we were credited with that week back to use again. I don't know what the present sales staff is like, they do call on us occasionally to try to tell us about new things, but we don't go for any new presentations. We paid up front and now we pay a yearly membership fee. When we book there is a small booking fee. We stayed on Grand Cayman for a week for the $89 booking fee. We have used some of our weeks in Panama City, Myrtle Beach (more than once), Branson, Gatlinburg, Gulf Shores--and I probably forgot some. It is definitely a better deal than a timeshare. We have friends who have been stuck with timeshares and with no flexibility. We use our weeks whenever we want---or not--you don't lose them--at least not the plan we have. I hope any bad reviews I am seeing are not indicitive of some managerial changes they have made, as we are getting ready to plan another vacation right now. I do not anticipate any problems :) Mary
I had the invitation to a seminar that offered a choice of electronics free, just to attend. We sat through a presentation and then ahard sell that got real ugly. I told them at that time all I wanted was the E-pad. after 4 months and some complaints it came. It only worked for about an hour and would not restart. I tried to get it replaced and was ignored. In my last letter I told them that I had thrown unit in the trash and would file a complaint with BBB. At that point they sent postage to return the pad...Guess they are sleazy but do read, Do not waste any time or $$$$$on this outfit...ED G
People should READ and KNOW what the marketing companies are offering and than they shouldn't be upset! They should also pay their commitments and enjoy using GVN. I totally agree with Mary from MI, the vacations offered from GVN are great. I've been a member of GVN for over 7 years and have used their condo's almost every year. I have two close friends that are also members and they have used GVN with similar results. I can't vouch for their marketing techniques, as I haven't been to a presentation for many years, but I had no issues when I signed up. We usually vacation in Hawaii, but one of my friends is a pilot and he has used GVN in many other locations, including international. I would recommend this method over "timeshare ownership" any day. I sold my timeshare membership after joining GVN as it was no longer needed and a huge hassle to "exchange" your property for somewhere else you want to go.
GVN workers are nothing but ### third rate sales people. After two hrs of being at the presentation, I would rather of attended a funeral. Very shady atmosphere and sleazy sales people. Would never ever give these guys any money!
We never received our "free trip and $100 gift card, " nor is there EVER any availability when we have tried to book in the past. Last checked their bb rating was F and not bb accredited. Live and learn.
Why doesn’t anyone say what they paid for this service and the yearly cost?
Why is it always vacation in Hawaii?
Thanks,
Jim
