The food and service
I and my family ordered Sunday dinner off your website around 3:00 pm. When we went to pick up our order and return to our car roaches begin to come out of the bag. When we return to the restaurant to have our money returned the young lady at the front said well what's wrong we explain to her what happened she called the manager and the manager as did they come out of the food. We explain at this point it didn't matter we just wanted our $47.48 dollars to return back to the card on which it was purchased. The manager stated that she could not do that and didn't understand why we still did not want the food. We explained to them we didn't want any food just our money back. We keep asking for a return of our money and not wanting to cause a scene we just left. All I would like is my money back.

this is the 3rd time I'm writing with no response is this how you treat your customers? went to local corral for lunch 1:30 to find out no hamburgers or hot dogs they stop those at 2:00 this is lunch had fish asked for tartar sauce and manager said they don't have that anymore usually by the fruit they have cottage cheese none sour cream instead carrots hard as rocks rotissure check very hard and dry what a terrible meal won't be back
The rude manager / hair ball in carrot cake
Hello, I was not reimbursed for my dinner after pulling a string of hair out mouth while eating carrot cake and peach cobbler and I also had ice cream on the plate. I am pregnant and that did not sit well with my stomach, that’s disgusting and the manager did nothing but looked at me like I was a nobody. Ask me if I wanted a drink…. No I want a refund of my plate nobody else plate but mines a party of 6 and you offered me nothing after I almost choked on a hair ball from your food.

I paid for my meal and went to sit down and immediately noticed how terribly dirty the carpet was and started to look around and there must be an Inch of dust on the lamps above the tables I went to get my food and the bottom of the container where they keep the plates looked lime it hadn't been cleaned in forever so I got my food but I couldn't eat because by then I was just grossed out and had to leave!
Desired outcome: your food was always good and the service but how clean can the food be if the whole restaurant is filthy! Please clean clean clean your restaurant!!
Food stations were very messy, some workers did not wear hair coverings in food prep areas.

I read an article in our local paper that this location had done a huge renovation. My husband and I decided to go for lunch. We were very disappointed with the state of the serving lines and some of the food. The serving areas were dirty with spilled food. Some of the food had been sitting out long enough to have developed a crust on top. The pizza was cold. I had a clear view of the bakery area and was watching, with interest, as a young lady was preparing the yeast rolls. She did have her hair covered. Another female employee came into that area with long hair and no hair restraint.
Our server was excellent and we liked the gloves being available at every serving area.
We will not be back and would not recommend this location.
Desired outcome: I would like someone in management to investigate this and hopefully fix the things I mentioned.

Javier is a terrible mgr. Got $30 in to-go. He was offended because i asked him to deduct the container weight. He said, "it doesn't matter to most people". Of course, he could not answer my question on 'what is the policy". This is my favorite place for to-go (at least twice a week). Container weight has always been deducted and initiated by the cashier. The tall thin mgr was great at this location. Javier is unable to fill his shoes. Javier was rushing to charge the next customer & my cc was still in the reader. Javier handed me my card and never said thank you. The cashier after trying to give my bag to javier's customer and realized it was mine, he like his mgr never said thank you. The bar was a mess. Kids everywhere without an adult. If they chose not to make major improvements, i will take my business elsewhere. The tall thin mgr took the atmosphere with him.
Desired outcome: LET CUSTOMER KNOW IF THEY ARE PAYING FOR CONTAINER WEIGHT OR NOT. DO IT THE SAME WAY EVERY TIME. SHOULD BE EASY ENOUGH.
Very Poor Management and Customer Sewrvice
I was waited on by a very rude server at the GC on Memorial Park Rd #2661.
After the manager (Tami) agreed by phone to send me a gift card to make up for a horrible experience, she never did. Subsequently, I tried reaching her by phone, only to have the cashier (Mary) who answered the phone lie to me continuously, telling me the manager stepped out, there is no manager here, Tami is not working today... She would then put the phone on machine, which this GC often does. I am trying to reach corporate, and/or the district manager to let them know what a horrible experience I had, and continue to have at this location.
Desired outcome: The gift card which was promised to me, which was obviously never sent.

My friend and I are at your restaurant; in Spokane, Wa on Saturday April 2,2022 at 2:09p.m. We really enjoyed our meals. I therefore dec to take the survey; but it shut me out. Assuming that I was not over the age of 18yrs. of age. I assure you I am over 50yrs. of age. Why would GOLDEN CORRAL do this? I was going to give you great accolades but I don't know how I can now!

Misleading ad
On January 6, my husband and I ate at the 2536 Aberdeen MD restaurant. I noticed an AD in the table in bold $10 bonus when we buy $50 card. I asked my husband to get one. He said that the offer has expired, and they cannot refund the $50.
I talked to the manager, Brenda to honor the ad in the table if they cannot refund the money. She defensively said no and took a picture of the AD with the expiration date written below in minuscule later. I told her the one below was being covered by the napkin holder. She said it is not their responsibility to tell every customer to read all that is in the AD.
In the first place, why put an AD that has already expired in the table for us to see. It is misleading. Because of their mistake in not pulling an expired AD they should at least honor the AD. Brenda said that minus the $10 I can still use the Card. The point is I would not even bother to buy it if the AD is not there for me to take advantage. Otherwise, I rather pay in cash. She said sorry, we cannot do anything. That is not how any other restaurant would have responded.
Desired outcome: Return the money spent in buying the card for $50 or provide customer a coupon as incentive to return back to the restaurant.e to return back to teh restaurant.

I've not gotten any Birthday coupons in the last 2-3 years what happened with that! I don't understand why even start giving them out I only got 2 of them and then decide to not send them no more.

Dirty and not following the pandemic eating place rules
We visited the Hermitage Tn facility for the first time in a whole year. Sunday dinner which was a nightmare. The place was packed and tables were trashed with piled up dishes. Either they were low on help or just don't care but we had trouble finding a clean table to sit down. Finally we found one in back but so many people we felt unsafe. Some employee's not wearing mask and not many customers wearing mask or using the plastic gloves. No instructions given when we were waited on like other buffets we had visited.
The rugs were dirty too. Spilled ice etc... looking not cleaned professionally for some time. Employees were bumping into chairs with carts full of dirty plates.
I really wanted to leave but my husband was starving so we had already paid and stayed. Most unappetizing atmosphere I can remember in a eating place ever.
I felt the need to say something to correct the mismanagement or problem since Golden Corral has always been one of our favorite place to eat. We try to find when traveling since offers variety. I will say the food tasted good even though things were a mess! I just did not enjoy myself and was feeling unsafe the whole time. Please look into this so that the place will not be closed down by health department.
