I signed up for Good *** March
I signed up for Good *** March . I had to use them for the first time today and they are terrible! The customer service employees were very nice... however, it took me over 10 minutes to finally connect to someone. Not even because I was on hold.. but because the prompts just runs you in circles. The tow truck drive called to tell me he had towed the wrong vehicle (someone at a completely different address. I'm sure they were pleased!). He "confirmed" the address and gave me the name of my car as a street name. When trying to confirm my street name and give him some general directions because there are 2 roads in my town with the same name (funny...?) he kept interrupting me not letting me say anything. So, I let him put down what he thought I said since he didn't want to listen and figured he'd call back if he got lost again.I actually signed up for this company accidently. I was originally trying to sign up for AAA but accidently selected this website and didn't realize until i got the confirmation that it wasnt. BUT decided to give it a try anyway. I'm supposed to renew come this March and certainly won't be. What a terrible company. AAA is definitely the way to go... and NO I dont work for them or know anyone who does! I never had issues with them like this. It was just an overall pain in the *** today to get a simple tow.
In August , traveling south on I-15, I collided with a deer on the road.
In August, while traveling south on I-15, I collided with a deer crossing the road. Being a member of a roadside assistance service since 2017 and having upgraded to Platinum, I called them immediately for a tow. The responder kept insisting they were not a tow service. I questioned the value of my Platinum membership if it didn't include accident towing assistance. After calling back twice over three hours for an ETA on the tow truck, I received evasive responses. Requesting a supervisor yielded no callback, and no tow truck arrived! The service stayed on the line only when State Patrol was contacted. The officer was helpful, connecting me with a tow operator who informed me the service had contacted him but refused to pay his fee. Following the tow operator's advice and escorted by the patrol car, I drove at 25 mph to a nearby park. Without these kind individuals, I would have been stranded. The roadside assistance service was unhelpful and indifferent to my situation. I plan to cancel my membership and advise against wasting money on it.
This company is a joke..I called for tire service for my car was told they tow it at my expense and then I'm re embursed..umm no sir..but if I had an rv they'd just bring the tire to me again I call bull$![&..never again..
Good *** Roadside Assistant and Tire Protection Plan. I purchase plan and had very bad experiences with them for the year of 2022. I have used them in the past and they were very good at first but this last year I purchase they really was horrible. I had 2 situations were I had tire on flat and the other was a blowout from hitting a pothole in the street. First time wait over a hour and roadside was a no show for over a hour so I canceled. The second time when I had the blowout I waited over 2hrs and still no show by roadside so a friend came and assist me so I called Good *** back and canceled. I took pictures of the tire *** when I got my tire replaced and I sent the pictures and the recite of the tire and they kept asking for multiple pictures but I left the tire with *** after I got it replaced so they denied my claim I guess because they just stop responding to my emails. They will always find any reason to not reimburse you of spend money on services needed by you. Get you service protection from another company if you dont want to be sorry and regret later.
After following the automated system directions and downloading the app, I scheduled a tow on the app. With a no show / no contact 2 hours after the scheduled time, I called to find that Good *** had no record of my request, even though I was looking at the confirmation on the app. Then I was told Good *** would only tow to a station that could not get to my vehicle for at least three weeks. I paid out of pocket to have it towed to a provider that I knew and trusted. Repair (fuel line) was completed the next day and I was back on the road.
Goods## is a joke they will lie and tell you anything to get you to sign up for the service protection plan. Once you have been paying for months and try to file a claim they will find any reason to say denied and what they do cover is not what they tell you when you sign up. I filed a claim to have a slide out room that was malfunction I called a certified RV repair technician what GS. Required he came out diagnosed the problem slide out system needed to be replaced while he was there I had him look at one of my *** units that was not working he wrote up a quote to repair the slide and replace the *** GS. Told me that it was best if I had more then one item they bundle it in one claim so I would only have to pay one deductible sounded good so as required by CS. I had the repair technician submit the claim they denied the *** because there was rust on the fan motor this is a roof top ac on an RV then they approved the slide repairs but only paid a small portion of the repairs. I have a 1k deductible the total was *** after my deductible it should have been 878 but the only agreed to pay *** out of pocket 898. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY FIND SOMEONE ELSE.
I signed up for Good Sam's Club for one year
I signed up for Good Sam's Club for one year. Right after signing up for Good Sam's Club I decided to get RV insurance through Good Sam's. While signing up for the RV insurance, I was offered Good Sam's Club membership for two years at a reduced two year price. I accepted the offer and talked to a Good Sam's Representative and cancelled the one year Good Sam's Club membership. The representative looked up my info and confirmed my one year cancellation and verified my 2 year membership. Well, when I received my Good Sam's membership card, it was good for only one year. I figured it was sent out before they noticed I had changed it to 2 years and would get an updated membership card for 2 years. I waited, but no new card was sent. I have called Good Sam's 5 times asking for an updated card. The customers services reps I speak with are able to see that I have called several times and they keep telling me new cards have been sent, however, I have never received a new card. I always verify the address they say they are sending the cards to and it is always correct. It has been 9 months of trying to get an updated card that shows I am paid for 2 years. We are about to retire and plan to travel across the US and I had planned to use the card to get gas discounts. By the time we hit the road, my one year membership will be expired and I won't be able to get the gas discounts I bought the membership for. I plan to call again and ask for a supervisor to resolve this, but this is ridiculous that I have had to call so many times and still don't have what I paid for.
The absolute worst, they take hours upon hours to help. When you sign up they say unlimited towing anywhere, they fail to mention they charge you, and "reimburse" you. I used the service 3 x and they canceled saying I used it too much. Stick with triple A
I bought Good *** platinum plan Brakes went out on motorhome in the mountains. Called Good ***. They sent a mobile repairman that replaced the brake master cylinder. It took him one hour. Next day I got a repair *** for just a few dollars shy of $2000!Talked to about 5 different people at good *** and they said they were only responsible for contacting a service provider. They were not at all concerned with how I was treated. My problem is that I trusted them and they sent a ***! They offered me NO HELP! After some searching I found the service provider had a 2 star rating. They should vet their providers better. In my opinion, I called Good *** and good *** contacted the service provider so they should have responsibility for them. I wont use Good *** again.
This company good *** rv rentals somehow got my email and they are literally harassing me on daily basis to sell them my rv! I have unsubscribed a million times now even blocked them and somehow they are still sending me emails!
Stop! Cancel or dont purchase Good ***. Not 24hrs. Automated message says, Good *** open 9am to 11pm EST good bye. I called at 5pm PST and tow truck was supposedly dispatched to me. Left me on the side of the road 10hrs. Tow truck never came! Had to hire my own private tow. Thankfully I was able to fix my truck on the road before $2k private tow. I called GS next day. Operator answered unprofessionally as if calling someones home. Gave me a spiel about a refund of $126.13 5-7business days out. Horrible! Originally bought the plan for RV tow. Learned my *** never again. Dont fall for it! Going back to my 3 letter roadside assistance!

I only had my membership for about a week when I slid off my driveway backing down a slope in our 2007 National Tropi-cal 37' diesel in a pouring rain which had saturated everything. RV ended up in my front yard sunk to the axles. It was about 4 feet from a power pole and leaning downslope about to slide further. I called Good Sam and they assured me that someone would text me on their way to winch the RV out. Never happened. Called back about 4 hours later and went through the facts with another agent. Again told that someone was on the way and I would be texted soon. Never happened. I again called back an couple of hours later and was told by a very nice lady that my claim had been escalated to supervisor level due to the fact that they could not locate a company willing to do the job. She waited with me on the phone to ensure that I did not get cut off while waiting on a supervisor. After a short wait, Supervisor Jaime got on the line and assured me she would get someone to me. Shortly thereafter I was notified by text that a wrecker was being dispatched from East Alabama Truck Repair in Wedowee, AL about an hour away. I called them and was told that the heavy wrecker was on the way. Twenty minutes later the wrecker arrived, the driver assessed the situation, quickly rigged my motorhome for winching and pulled it to safety without damage. My RV lives to camp again. My thanks to the Good Sam Supervisor Jaime, the very proficient driver from East Alabama Truck Repair, and to Good Sam for their help. A little more informational updates in the beginning would have eased my stress levels a bit but overall an A.
We broke down in traffic told good *** it was an emergency took them 2 hours to get a tow truck to us mean while half hour before they got there we got a*** ended by a guy with no insurance yes we called police they stopped sed they couldnt hand around so left s*** thing is the guy that hit us after us sitting there for hour and half his tow truck got there same time as ours not happy when you are in dangerous situations there supposed to put you in fro t of line thank god no one got killed 15 years with aaa never had this happen
Good *** is Bad. I purchased the Platinum roadside Assistance because I have two teenagers commuting 45 miles to work every day and I wanted some protection for them. We have called for a pull-out several times over the winter because my son slid off the road in icy conditions and, of course, there was the usual 2-3 hour wait when you know there are tow trucks within 30 min of the incident. Not cool, but not unexpected. Now I get a letter saying they are dropping our coverage because we've actually used their services and its not cost effective for them to serve us. Apparently there is a clause that states they can cancel service at any time for any reason, so I can't fight it, but HELLO. How many other people pay for this service for 20 years and never ever use it? Surely they can handle keeping us around. This is the risk of insurance - one of us is going to lose out. How is it ok for me to be on the losing end 100% of the time? If I don't use it, I pay anyway. If I do use it (and I paid for that, by the way), they cancel me.
The good *** towing plan is useless if you need anything actually repaired. Waited hour over night to get towed to a parking lot and charged $240 for that pleasure with the promise they would find a service location. Spent hours waiting for the name of a center but they could not even look at my motor home for weeks. So I called to at least get and estimate before sending my motor home there. They did not call back for five hours and when I called they said it might take them to tomorrow to even creat an estimate. So I called Good *** back and they gave me the run around saying because I did not give them more money I would have to pay the entire tow to my home myself. They never ask for more money after me extending my dues, paying $240 to be taken to a parking lot. This is not what they advertised.
Terrible service, claim unlimited miles but when you need a tow they force you to tow to a place of their choice usually within 1 mile and say that if you want it towed to a shop of your choice other than that place they force on you then you are required to pay for the mileage distance out of pocket even if you want your vehicle towed to your house; they say that your house is outside of the locations listed within the distance in their network for your car to be towed to and that you will have to pay for the tow mileage out of pocket. Even more they say that if the company they say is within your distance of tow range ( their network; usually ! mile ) then you need to call and find out if another shop that they say is within your tow range ( actually their range ) can work on your car. Terrible Company and should be closed down for the false advertising and misleading information they state in what they offer so they get people to purchase their service only to find out that when you need the service you don't get the service.
Our travel trailer's tire blew on the highway, near a small town
We have a travel trailer, and our tire blew on the highway, near a small town. Our spare tire equipment didn't work, and the blown tire was on the traffic side, which is my worst nightmare. We called a roadside assistance service and were quoted a long wait time, not ideal when huge semis are blowing past you at 80 mph. At 75 minutes with no help arrived, I called the towers number, provided by the roadside service, and my call went straight to voicemail, which was full! So I called the roadside service back, and they assigned another tow company 15 minutes later (this is a long time on the busy turnpike.) Randomly, another camper got a flat tire and pulled over in front of us and helped us change the tire. We got off the highway at the next exit, checked the tire inflation, got back on the highway, and five miles later, our other tire blew. (These tires were properly inflated and 11 months since install, so we suspect faulty tires.) Anyway, the roadside service assigned the same tower who no-showed. So I called to request another company, and meanwhile, the first tower calls, says he is 90 minutes away in another town, so he won't be coming, and he has a guy in another location, but he has six kids and won't go on the turnpike. (Yes, this is a treacherous stretch of the turnpike - I was worried for our lives.) This time, a different roadside assistance service saved us (we had a second spare.) The first roadside service was useless to us in our hour of greatest need. I later found out another service will serve campers if you pay an extra fee ($20 for us.) I wish I had known this, and I'm passing along our experience in the hopes it helps someone else. Honestly, a total nightmare and the first roadside service did nothing to help.
This company is a scam on one side, nice on the other
This company is a scam on one side, nice on the other. My card declined for auto renewal, I thought I had canceled, maybe not, either way the email stating the payment declined stated nothing about Good *** continuing to try my card until they could take my money, nor did they contact me via email or phone or mail that they woild be charging my card again. Wake up this morning 2 days after the decline email to find I am out $159.95 from Good ***. The membership email has an email to contact for the *** I write a message, get a message back very timely to call a number for help. Get a nice receptionist gets me to customer service...rude lady who sounds very drunk, doesn't give me her name and when I say I have road side assistance through my insurance that is better and already paid for she gets really snotty and sarcastic, arguing with about how my insurance is c*** and just wants to raise my premiums, I told her I just wanted my money back not a sales pitch. If your card declined anywhere else you don't get the product, why do they feel they can do that if a card declines, against the *** and UDAAP for sure. She places me on hold without saying anything, get "***" in out of country call center, very nice and pleasant, fixed the issue in 2 minutes, now I have to wait 3 to 5 days for my money to come back to me when they could take it in an instant. Changing my card number when I get my refund, I don't want them charging me again in a month just because they have a valid card number. Also, they send junk mail constantly, every other week trying to sell you something. This is another reason to steer clear. Reading their packets, it seems like a scam company, not at all a road side assistance company.
You cannot rely no them, bottom line
You cannot rely no them, bottom line. I was targeted for their service start of 2021. On review, we found no such service in my area contrary to their marketing. This is the pickle. With meaningful and committed CS in place, an adult conversation leads to closure. But what happened in months following speaks volumes. No one answering phones would "step up" and own responsibility so a pattern of he-said she-said developed whereby it became obvious part of their team (more likely all) fielded longstanding matter as if a game to grind out clock on customer deserving refund. That *** may clean up well and present airbrushed story about CS, but believe you me there is no such entity in place to facilitate a conversation between you two, pure falsehood. All fake marketing, false advertising, and they will play you like a drum: "Call this number..." [ignoring history, confirming no accountability, in effect nose thumbing you with a smile after a year of same old sheet]. To nitty-gritty, it eventually followed guidance from Complaintsboard.com to do a full refund but then waited months. So now, 5 more months later, it is resending same checks on guidance from an *** outside my residential jurisdiction. After returning to *** my admittedly overdue refund was again upchucked from its maw only through duress. Over 24 hours of continuous phone/writing complaints formed over 12 months, you can imagine my inability to understand its platform. As soon as you need it, remember by design its platform is all about one person [impossible to reach again] deferring to others for its contract (or lack of one). You will invariably find no value as "service" in this context cannot be consigned elsewhere. If you don't like being bounced over and over, good luck in Refunds. No joy will be found here. Only narratives of its empty broken promises live on here (see 9/10 Reviewers) stand & the exceptional story is probably a shill or one of its own earning a bonus.

This joke of a company will come up with whatever reason on a whim to catch you with your pants down and side blind you with any excuse NOT to tow your RV after paying for the most expensive and elite 5th wheel RV roadside assistance and TOWING plan possible. Even after reading all the small fine print details, they will come up with some off the wall reason to avoid towing your RV. It's honestly embarrassing to see them scramble and challenge you at all costs and at every angle possible that they can come up with AFTER stringing you along all dayyy by saying they're dispatching a towing company out to you only to find out from the DRIVER of the towing company to inform you that Good *** is saying they're not going to cover it. So I call to find out what is going on and get pushed off to a superior they must train to get on the phone at the end of it all only to tell you that you're not eligible for whatever reason they pull out of their a*** by studying some kind of handbook and get trained by role playing every situation possible that they can come up with to tell a customer that they're not eligible for a tow and basically tell you tough luck and leave you fked. Even after challenging them back and outsmarting them on whatever first reason they give you and outsmarting them on the second.. they will come up with a third, fourth and so on.. They're a SCAM and it's a shame and quite disappointing that Good *** is even acknowledged and known as a top brand named company when it comes to Roadside Assistance! I thought I did my homework on researching for a good quality Roadside Assistance plan for my 5th wheel RV by reading all the small fine print from each top brand *** and in they're brochures and by reading reviews but after experiencing what I've experienced, is when I finally found the REAL reviews about Good *** Roadside Assistance. That is why I am writing this review in hopes to help any fellow RV'r NOT to purchase a plan from them!
Good *** Companies, stay away RUN
Good *** Companies,, stay away RUN.Good ***, the nations largest RV motor club also owns *** Campers World, central coast resorts and more DO NOT join their club or buy any of their insurance. They are liars and cheats just like all *** companies.I was just woken to high wind gusts and rain and had to climb onto the roof of my motorhome to re-secure my already damaged roof. My roof was badly damaged late August from a really bad monsoon storm that torn up the back end of my motorhomes roof, I was waiting for the insurance company to get the roof fixed only to find out the Good *** insurance company is doing everything to avoid paying the claim, and I can't afford to fight them nor the money to replace the one piece fiberglass roof. The motorhome is my home, I live in it. I'm a volunteer at ***, I bought more then enough insurance to cover anything and everything.*** the damage claims representative for the Good *** insurance company *** says the roof was not maintained,, WTF.She ignored her own document adjuster that came out for 2 hours and documented all the damage and the dealer that sent an email stating that the motorhome including the roof were in excellent condition, Good *** is a bean counter company that gambles on the little guy losing. They do not want to pay $7-8,000.00 to replace the roof or any of the other damage from wind or water getting in like carpet floor, cracked shower ceiling, slide-out awnings which is all about another $3,000.00 I would take a check for the roof and walk away and do the other repairs myself, but they wont budge asking me for more proof it was maintained. It's a fiberglass roof that gets washed with soap and water and waxed like a normal car per Winnebago Motorhome maintenance recommendations.I'm hoping social media might help my situation if everyone reposted and I can get the Good *** companies on the all c*** list, who knows.Any attorneys *** off with Good *** are welcome, I'm here. Thank you
This review is of the Good *** Roadside assistance, of which I have a "Platinum Complete" $225/annual membership
This review is of the Good *** Roadside assistance, of which I have a "Platinum Complete" $225/annual membership. Yesterday, 11/1, I called to schedule a tow for 7:30 am on 11/2 of a simple car (not our RV)Because this tow was to my Allstate collision center for an insurance claim (6 miles from my house), I had to pay an additional $28.75 for this tow because Good *** decided that I could go to a service center one mile from my home. So, I paid the fee on 11/1 in order for my request to be sent to dispatch. The representative then told me that around 6:30 am the morning of 11/2 that the tow company would call me and the tow driver would call when they are approximately 20 minutes away - by 7:30 am.Fast forward to this morning, 11/2.I called Good *** Roadside assistance at 7:30 as I never received a call from a tow truck company. I was told my call had been escalated to a supervisor and that a supervisor would call me back. I did not receive a call, so I called back at 8:04 am and spoke to another representative who told me the EXACT same thing and that a supervisor would call me back. Again, I did not receive a call so I called into Roadside Assistance again at 9:00 (my third call). Again, I was told the EXACT same thing and that a supervisor would call me back. Then I called Roadside Assistance customer service in *** (now my fourth call) and spoke with *** who got *** from dispatch on the line. He again said the same thing, that the call has been escalated to a supervisor and that they would call me.A supervisor NEVER called. However, I did receive a text message at 10:00 am from a tow company that their truck would be at my location in *** minutes. (between noon and 1 pm)I've now lost a days wages because I cannot go to work, and my adult son has lost a days wages because I need to drive him to work and cannot because of this fiasco.I have been a good *** member and a good *** roadside assistance member for a few years now and my $225 annual account is up for renewal. This experience has me reconsidering my options for road side help. Coming from a customer service background myself, I fail to understand why a "supervisor" cannot make a quick call to me to let me know whats going on so I can plan my day and plan on how to get my car to the auto body shop. ESPECIALLY since I did my due diligence in calling YESTERDAY to schedule this!
I want to highlight a severe issue that occurred to me, a member and a friend associated with
I want to highlight a severe issue that occurred to me, a member and a friend of mine, who are both Goodsam members in good standing. Due to the incident's outcome, we are both terminating our memberships immediately, reaching out to Complaintsboard.com, and expressing our dissatisfaction on social media regarding the poor treatment we received. For your information, the details of this transaction are recorded in your phone logs with Goodsam Roadside Assistance dispatch. I personally called Dispatch multiple times, receiving confirmation of assistance for relocating my vehicle from one location to Bowling Green, a distance of about 26 miles. A fee of $55 was charged to my credit card for this service. After these affirmative discussions and payment, we believed the arrangements were confirmed. We drove a significant distance, expecting everything was ready. For context, I was informed by Gander Mountain in August that Goodsam might relocate my coach. I started contacting your company in early September, and each time I was assured of assistance. I urge you to verify this by checking the call logs. Here is a call chronology to Roadside Assistance: September 9, 17, 19, 21. Then, on September 23, the day of our move, around 2:30 pm, as we were preparing the vehicle for transport, your dispatch called to inform me that they would not honor my request, despite accepting my payment and after multiple confirmations. I had a reference number for the service and received several text messages confirming the request was in your database. This last-minute cancellation put us in a difficult situation with the resort where the vehicle was parked, as we had to find alternative transport urgently due to the resort having rented the lot to new customers. Our current feelings towards your company are of extreme disappointment and frustration. We feel deceived and misled, which amounts to fraud. A copy of this complaint is being sent to Complaintsboard.com, and I will continue to share my negative experience with your company on social media.
I recently purchased a 36 Foot R
I recently purchased a 36 Foot R.V. Being new to this I also purchased some RV magazines. Those deceptive ADs for RV Roadside Assistance sure sound good. I buy some roadside assistance, just in case. I thought I read all the small print and assumed I was in good hands. Here is what happened to me. I bought the BEST Plan. "RA Platinum". This plan reads 'Best Roadside assistance available including unlimited distance towing, plus TIRE @ WHEEL ROAD HAZARD. Sound pretty good doesn't it... This past Monday on 9/21 at 2:00PM I was traveling on Rte 195 in Dartmouth,MA ( about 1 hour from my home on Cape Cod,MA) when my RV went into what Id call disaster mode. Both rear tires on the passenger rear became dislodged from the axle. THANK GOD NOBODY GOT HURT-- AND IM SO THANKFUL THIS EVENT DID NOT HURT ANY ONE ELSE. Before I pulled over I saw The hub cap flying thru the air. I got into the break down lane- very busy expressway. I wont bore you with all the emotional crap. I have "GOOD SAM" I made the call and requested ROAD SIDE ASSISTANCE. What did I get " NOTHING " I was told help was on the way. I was also told I would get text messages- I got none. NOTHING... I sat there for hours. I had to make numerous calls After 2 1/2 hours I exited my RV and placed boards under my leveling jacks. I raised my RV very high. I removed both rear wheels. Should I have had to do any of this ? " absolutely not" After 3 hours I called Good Sam again. I was informed that someone would be in touch me. Moments later Good Sam informed they located a RV Mechanic and he would be calling me. Good Sam reported to me " we cover the call - you have to pay $150.00 an hour plus parts. This is what was said to me. Why not just tow me home ? Whatever I've been sitting here for 3 hours Moments later I get a call , he tells me he is a RV mechanic. Good Sam gave him my info. I explained what happened, and whats needed to fix this. This mechanic tells me " I'm in Kingston, MA" This is over an hour away. Yep This what Good Sam did for me. It gets better I'm told to call a auto parts store in Kingston, MA- order the parts and pay for them- This mechanic will grab them and head my way. OK I do as I'm told- Nothing more was discussed- no talk of money-rates ect... I figure I'm in good hands. I got GOOD SAM roadside assistance right. Its getting dark -- Its been 4 hours- A good Samaritan TOW TRUCK Driver stops. A company called Dartmouth Towing- Nothing to do with GOOD SAM. His name was "GABE. Out of the kindness he begins to repair my RV. While doing so "The so called GOOD SAM RV Mechanic arrives". It took 20 minutes. The GOOD SAM mechanic than charges me $425.00. He reports to me that he gets 2.0 hours for travel and 1.0 hours to fix. I prepaid for the parts. When I argue he knocks $50.00 off the bill. He goes on and on how GOOD SAM should have told me all this. I'm to exhausted and overwhelmed and VENMO the guy $425.00. Best part of it all - GOOD SAM sent to my location a lawn mower repair man. I am asking everyone to google this guy. Good Sam sent a guy named KEVIN RIBEIRO from Plymouth, MA. to help me When I googled the guy I learned a lot. You are not in good hands with GOOD SAM. They sent a crook to me. A lawn mower repair man. So I complained to GOOD SAM and was asked to submit a claim for reimbursement. Today I got an email from Stephanie ***. It reads "my request has been denied" If necessary and whenever possible , depending on the RV there may be a local mobile mechanic that can perform minor repairs ect... goes on why they wont do anything. Good Sam can use those words to never do anything for you. I would tell anyone that will listen, Don't believe what you read in those RV magazines about GOOD SAM. My single incident will be going to The Massachusetts Attorneys Generals Office as this company ripped me off. I did not get The Best Roadside Assistance with unlimited distance towing plus tire and wheel road hazard that I PAID FOR.
Good Sam Enterprises Complaints 12
Goodsam.com campground website rating system.
Based on the Good Sam rating 9/9.5/8, and my Good Sam membership, I booked a reservation on July 31, 2023 via email at the I10 Kampground in Mobile Alabama.
As this was the worst campground I have been to in the last thirty years; hypodermic needles in the mens room, the front office was closed at 1 and 2 PM (even though the office sign says open 8 AM to 6 PM), half the showers and toliets were out of order and gunshots started at the campground at 2 PM.
Because my husband and I feared for our life and didn’t want hepatitis (or worse), we left the campground. As the campground didn’t meet our (or Good Sams standards) I would like a refund. Since the office was closed, I could not ask the campground directly for a refund.
Attached are pictures showing the electricity disconnected at the campground office the bathrooms, the needle and signs saying that the bathrooms and showers will be locked from 10 PM to 8 AM due to vandalism.
When was the last time this campground was reviewed by Good Sam?
This place is a meth lab advertised as a campground. I would advise good sam to pull the rating until the I10 Kampground finds new owners and the police and health department get this campground cleaned and sanitized.
Desired outcome: Refund and reimbursement for tetanus shots.
We have had Good *** towing insurance for six years
We have had Good *** towing insurance for six years. It is under my husband's name ***. We have tried to use it 3 times in the last two years. All three times, we have called for a tow and spent 45 minutes to an hour each time on the phone trying to get a tow. The first time, the agent set me up with a tow truck from 200 miles away even though there was a town with several tow companies only 15 miles away. When the tow truck driver found out my location, he cancelled the tow and I had to find my own truck and pay $100 out of pocket. The second time, they kept promising to call me back and never did. I finally found a tow truck myself and paid for that tow as well. The third time was UNBELIEVABLE. This time, they told my husband that we didn't have insurance and they would send a tow truck for $1500. My poor husband agreed and they charged our card before they had even found a company. That driver called and said he would pick us *** in 4 HOURS! We cancelled the tow and found one ourselves for $1000. Good *** said they would refund the charge but a week later and they haven't done so. My husband has been on the phone for a half hour and they are giving lame excuses for why they couldn't give us our money back or why they couldn't send tows the other two times. At this point, we need our $1500 back as well as ALL of the premiums we have paid for 6 years.

I joined 3 days after joining I tried calling for services they said I was not a member after many calls. I called my bank and they were told good *** did tow my car which they NEVER did. So I call today and say I want my money back and was told they had my membership under the name *** and asked what my address was because they did not have it then proceeded to tell me they would not refund the entire amount $ ***. So before going to court I am so upset. I want to try one more time through Complaintsboard.com. If they refuse I will have to take further action. I spent the *** getting roadside service with my insurance company to get roadside assistance who did tow the car! And have no need for this bogus company.
3/28/22-Received email that a claim was accepted for reimbursement of towing costs to cover tow of son's car after it slid off the road due to weather. Did not receive money after 4/6 weeks and called Good *** to be told our claim was overturned. We did not receive any communication. They claimed they called and I checked my call logs and did not receive any calls from Good ***. No email was sent like previously. Was told by several customer service representatives that are claim was good due to the fact the police called the towing company. In the end was told due the car going off the road, it was a collision. That was never disclosed to us by the customer service representatives.
I paid for unlimited mileage towing. I needed my vehicle towed to my mechanic. The said I couldn't. Then said I had to pay for my tow. They lie. They rip people off. I want my *** back. I will go back to tripple AAA
Since 2015 Goodsam has automatically renewed my extended service plan and automatically withdrew my monthly premiums from my bank account
Since 2015 Goodsam has automatically renewed my extended service plan and automatically withdrew my monthly premiums from my bank account without any problems or actions by me. In *** stopped withdrawing my premiums and cancelled my account despite sending a renewal notice stating that my policy was going to renew automatically and that I needed to do nothing. Almost a year later, Goodasm sent me a notice that my policy was inactive. When I called, they said they cancelled it because I was suppose to call and renew. They also claimed they mailed a cancellation notice. Goodsam's explanation contradicted their own practice of automatic renewal, their own renewal notice, and I never received a cancellation notice by mail. Gooddsam acknowledged no cancellation notice was sent via email despite their confirmation that they had my email address. Goodsam's only explanation was that "sometimes" the renewal department cancels some policies at the 7 year ***. The representative could not explain why the renewal department indiscriminately cancels some policies at the 7 year ***. However, my policy had only been in effect for 6 years. Goodsam refused to reinstate my policy unless I paid the back fees for the months I did not have coverage because of their mistake. Or, I could purchase a new policy for three time the amount of my old policy. Goodsam should not be requiring customers to pay for their mistake.

11/25 I purchased a tire and wheel protection plan. Registration number TS ***. I drive a 2021 *** CX-30 but Good *** issued the plan for a CX-3. When I had damage to my rim and attempted to use the plan I was told I do not have a plan for this vehicle. I never owned a CX-3 and didn't want coverage for a CX-3. If Good *** is going to refuse to cover my CX-30 then the policy should be flat cancelled and a refund issued for the full amount.

Claimed I was towed more than the national average. Called customer service. They said I was good till the end of the year. When I'm stuck on the side of the road, I'm left to fend for myself. They left me here in the middle of nowhere. I paid for a year, the refunded about half. They should have sent a certified letter. I called and confirmed a week or two earlier and they said I was good till 2023. When I'm stuck they leave me in the middle of nowhere.
I purchased an extended service plan from Good Sam with the purchase of a new travel trailer/fifth wheel
I purchased an extended service plan from Good Sam with the purchase of a new travel trailer/fifth wheel. The agreement clearly states 12 months manufacturer's warranty term and a 60 month (5 year) extended warranty. The trailer was purchased on 2/24 - the manufactures warranty ran to 2/24 and the extended warranty would have then begun and good through 2/24/2022. I had filed for repair work to be covered under the Good Sam extended warranty on 3/4 which Good Sam rejected with a position that the warranty had expired. I contacted Good Sam at [protected] and discussed with first a service rep and then a contract person. Both referenced an expiration date repeatedly of 2/24. This expiration date is NOT in the Good Sam term sheet and the math simply does not work. When I pointed out the math does not work, the story changed that the extended warranty runs concurrently with the manufacturers warranty which makes less sense. Why would someone pay for two concurrent warranty's with equivalent coverage? This was also not what was explained by the dealer. The Good Sam individuals then told me I would have to take it up with the dealer, that is when I ended the call. In summary, Good Sam is refusing to honor their obligations as documented in the Agreement for a 60 month (5 year) term. I believe the agreement form purposely neglects to document an expiration date (which would provide transparency to the terms) allowing Good Sam to neglect to meet its obligations for 20% of the warranty term paid for. Due to Good Sam's failure to meet its obligations, I am left with a $1,188.47 service bill as well as not receiving the benefits of an extended warranty that I paid for and that Good Sam was paid to provide.
I was unable to locate my Good *** membership account online and believed it had expired. I then created a new account and purchased a 3-year membership. I then found the old account and my first membership was still active. I emailed Good *** to cancel my duplicate membership and they refused. I asked them to add the new membership years to my existing membership and they ignored my request. They are no longer answering my emails. I no longer want a transfer of the new term to my first membership, and I want a full refund of the $79.00.
We purchased a motorhome from Camping World in ***,*** in October then traded the motorhome in 4 months later in February. Camping World has received the pay off letter from our lan Bank which was M&T bank in March. We also purchased about *** worth of extended warranties and vehicle protection plans. We have only received the gap policy refund so far, this has been going on since February 2022. I understand from the conversations with Camping World representative tat we are only entitled to the *** Contract as a refund now. Which should be about ***.
Good *** Warranty and their customer service is absolutely horrendous, I am so very very unhappy and I cannot get the issue fixed
Good *** Warranty and their customer service is absolutely horrendous, I am so very very unhappy and I cannot get the issue fixed. I called in to ask questions about policy renewal and agent charged my card without permission, which is illegal. It overdrafted my account because I'm in process of changing my checking account. I called back same day to get refunded. I've now been waiting a week and refund has still not hit my account. So I'm stuck in overdraft h*** Wonder how many fees I will get accessed while waiting for them to fix their error. They sure can take your money without permission, but drag their feet to give it back. I also called to switch card on file for the auto payment each month. Rep was not able to help me, said the card changing buttons weren't available and would call me back. He has not. I called back in and rep refused to help me because guess what when I signed up for the service and paid for the full year, they failed to put my name on the account. Because they literally cannot do anything right. I get transferred to a supervisor, they said, but based on knowledge was just another rep pretending to be a supervisor. I give him the new card information to change it over, he says it was denied because it was same card that refund was issued to. Um no, totally different card numbers. How did he run the old card again? Where did he put or write my new card information? Did he write it down in order to steal it? Cuz he surely did not input the card number into the system, because he verified the old card after it was rejected. Does that make sense? I have been stolen from, lied to, given the run around, had my account not set up in my name, and now a lapse in coverage because your company cannot and will not do their job.

Today my son's car broke down 6 and a 1/2 hours away from home. I gave them the good *** information and he called them. They texted him a form. He filled out the form and sent me screenshots showing that it was being processed. One hour and 45 minutes later he had not received the car tow or any callback from good ***. I called them, I spent 7 minutes trying to get connected to a representative and was even disconnected once. I was transferred twice and I explained the situation of how upset I was, that my son was stranded for 2 hours with no tow truck. I said he has already made other arrangements to leave the car at another mechanic, and a family nearby has picked him up to spend the night. Since I did not receive the service that I paid for I wanted full refund. They said they could not give me a refund.
On April 21st, I took my trailer in for repair work. We have a Good *** Plan. (#***) which states will cover the affected part, diagnostic and the cost "to repair any covered parts at the prevailing retail labor rates". The repair facility charged 1 our diagnostic labor at $185, $415 for the part and $555 for 3 hours labor to replace the damaged item. United *** (Good Sam's administrator) state they would only cover 2 hours labor ($360) and what they said the part should cost ($390). Called on May 6th to complain. Received a call back fro the claims department stating they would cover the part and the labor. They sent a revised authorization (a1527377) to the repair shop. The new authorization has approved $415 for the part, 2 hours labor for the repair ($360), and 2 additional hours for diagnostic and additional labor ($370). However the total approved was only $775 ($415 part + $360 labor). The additional $370 was left off the total. Both the repair shop and myself called multiple times to get them to address the error. On May 18th I went to the repair shop where we both got on the phone with United ***'s claims department. After 2 hours on the phone they stated they will only pay for 2 hours labor because that is what their book says.
On February 17, 2022, my Membership with a service provider became effective for my vehicle by Forest River.
On February 17, 2022, my Membership with a service provider became effective for my vehicle by Forest River (Fifth Wheel). On May 23, 2022, my wife and I had a blowout while traveling, and Roadside Assistance was contacted. We were stranded for 5 hours before help arrived. The next day, a tire protection service was called to replace 4 tires, and a mobile mechanic was sent to our location to do the job, costing us $1,366.58. On May 26, we continued our trip but soon found the new tires were rubbing against the suspension, damaging them. Roadside Assistance and a local shop were contacted for repairs. The mechanic indicated improper tire replacement techniques had bent the suspension. We replaced the tires and suspension on May 28, costing $3,948.38. I filed a claim with the tire protection service on June 3. Despite providing all required documentation, we were denied reimbursement for the repairs and additional expenses on June 17.

On June 14, 2022, my husband had a stroke while we were driving to an undisclosed location
On June 14, 2022, while driving to an undisclosed location, my husband had a stroke. I managed to get him to a safe area and a kind stranger helped us. I drove him to a nearby hospital where he was admitted and later airlifted to a specialized center for stroke treatment. I contacted GoodSam for assistance with our vehicle but was denied help because our situation didn't qualify as an accident. They insisted I needed a higher-tier plan. After a long hold and a disconnection, no callback was received. Back at the initial location, a friend's brother helped move our vehicle to a secure spot. On a second call to GoodSam, I was informed that the previous agent had left without upgrading my plan. The new agent upgraded my plan but stated it wouldn't cover the current issue. She advised me to file a claim for reimbursement later. Despite paying extra, GoodSam refused to reimburse me for the $1288.00 trip interruption costs.

On Sunday, January 2, 2022, I was driving on US Route 17 and a nearby road when an incident occurred.
On Sunday, January 2, 2022, I was driving on US Route 17 and a nearby road. My vehicle ran off the edge of the road and came to a stop on its side. Knowing I had Good Samaritan Roadside assistance (member # hidden), I called their dispatch service to have my vehicle uprighted. While on the phone with Good Samaritan, the police arrived on the scene. While explaining to the officer (with Good Samaritan listening), the officer told me that the vehicle had to be moved ASAP to reopen the road. The Good Samaritan agent advised me that if the police were having a towing company respond, I should use them and submit a request for reimbursement. I followed their advice. Two heavy-duty wreckers responded and were able to upright the vehicle and pull it back up to the road. Amazingly, the vehicle did not receive too much damage and was drivable. The towing/service cost $1,250.00 due to the heavy-duty trucks and time to upright it. A couple of days later, I filed my request for reimbursement. Approximately 8 days later, I was notified that my claim was denied stating that they were never notified, which was not true. Attached is the complaint I filed as well as a copy of the receipt for the charges. Additionally, attached is a copy of the tow receipt that clearly shows it was the police who requested them, not me. I have been contacting Good Samaritan almost every 2 weeks since the incident. Finally, I was able to reach a supervisor who instructed me to prove I had called them. I searched my cell phone but it only went back 2 weeks and my phone company does not keep records of the numbers I called. So, because I can't prove that I made the call, due to the failure of their dispatch to record it, I am requesting reimbursement of $1,250.00. Thank you. I paid the towing company. Yes, I called dispatch, however, the police called the local tow company. The dispatcher advised that was okay.

On March 15, we purchased a 2018 Thor Synergy RV from a dealership.
On March 15, we purchased a brand new 2018 Thor Synergy RV from a dealership. At that time, we also included in the purchase contract an extended warranty covering any potential issues for up to a certain mileage/duration at a cost of $3103.00. For vehicular accident insurance, I contacted Good Sans and secured a policy effective from 3/15 to 4/6/2022, which remained in place until I sold my RV on 4/6/2022. Upon transferring ownership, I contacted Good Sans/National General to terminate the insurance and confirmed that all automatic bank deductions had ceased. However, a Good Sans representative mentioned an active extended warranty charge I was unaware of, costing $2400, or $68.40 monthly. Since I manage my finances through direct deposit, I hadn't noticed these withdrawals. I never consented to this additional warranty from Good Sans. Despite my requests, Good Sans did not provide access to the alleged recorded agreement or a signed contract. They initially claimed the recordings were too old, then later stated they were proprietary. I am determined to obtain evidence of this supposed purchase I never made. I'm seeking assistance to recover my funds, and if Complaintsboard.com cannot resolve this, I will consider small claims court. I appreciate any help provided.

For decades we used AAA Premier
For decades we used AAA Premier. Due to an offer (AARP) of 3 years discounted membership from Good-*** Roadside assistance we called them and the rep gave details and thereof we decided to purchase Good *** membership. One day, our car just cut-off the engine whilst travelling on the Interstate. It was almost like the battery dying or run out of gas but non of that applied. We called Good *** and they said it would take an hour for assistance to arrive. The Police arrived, commented that it's a computer failure in car and pulled (towed) the vehicle to the side shoulder. But still subject to fast moving Interstate traffic. We had to call Good *** 6 times and each time they said they were looking for towing service/assistance providers, service will come in 1 hour. By now, we were extremely distraught. We had no food, prescription medicines, water. We missed the family wedding event. After 6+ hours the Good *** service provider arrived. They said they will only be able to tow the car and are limited to mileage because Good *** won't pay them. Well, the tow company towed the car to an "Emissions Service" provider shop - they just left our car in the repair shop parking lot as the business was closed ! We called Good *** and the rep was hardly helpful, no apology for poor service, no enabling to tow the vehicle to a dealer or a repair shop which repaired automotive electronics, Engine computer problems. The next day, we missed pay and took time off to take care of car repairs. The Emissions repair shop told they don't repair electronic problems - only emissions. We had to make our own arrangements to have the vehicle towed to the dealer shop to fix the repair. Since we were let down, the described service was not provided and subjected to suffering we asked Good *** for full refund of membership $179.90 . The Rep apologized, said we'd get a full refund but we only got $15.73 back on the credit card. They NOW say we had a service call. Membership

After speaking with a Good *** rep on 01/26/2022 and after the representative suggesting a purchase a 2 year membership while the $79/yr sale
After speaking with a Good *** rep on 01/26/2022 and after the representative suggesting a purchase a 2 year membership while the $79/yr sale was active, and him assuming me that there was no risk bc the membership included a 30 trial period wherein if I didnt like the service I could cancel and be refunded, I purchased the 2 years membership. On 01/28/2022 I used the service for a tow to find that I would need to pay an additional $63 for additional mileage despite the advertising which states unlimited mileage. I decided to cancel on the first business day which was 01/31/2022. I called, said I wished to cancel, the rep said ok and I would be refunded. He did not inquire why I wished to terminate the membership nor did he indicate that they would not be refunding the whole amount. I learned a few days later when I checked my bank statement that of the $179. I paid, they only refunded $96. I called and was then told that after the accounting department reviewed the refund they decided to only disperse a partial refund bc I used their service. I explained to the two reps that this was not ever communicated to me. They repeated that it could be found in the brochure. The problem is that at the time of the actual purchase I did not yet have access to the brochure. I have explained that what they did contradicts a 30 day trial period if you are charging the customer for using the service. I was referred to corporate whom I called who told me all issues/inquiries need to be submitted via email. I have done so twice now during the month of February and received neither the balance of my refund nor any response. It is unethical and unfair to bind a customer to rules (which had I been informed at the time of purchase would have prompted me to not purchase the membership) for which they hadnt given me the brochure outline the refund or mileage policies. It is wrong to have told me I would receive my membership fee refund and then later subtract an unexpected amount.

On 12/20, GSE, LLC represented an AUTO plan good in mainland USA and PR (an unincorporated territory) and apparently invoiced this as membership # ***. But on arrival at PR, the services were not confirmed available and it called me with statement that no service was then available in PR and a refund was in process. I then discarded the materials and expected that refund to form. But the same credit card was canceled in meantime ending -*** (***). Each time I asked for it to confirm when/how refund formed in months following, it would kick can down the road with "which plan?" or "call [protected] instead." But the rep answering there at ext # *** could not see total picture. She was reviewing partial refund in August but adding that she would email "***" for resolution. That was "Nicholas" and "Melissa M" with whom prior emails were deflected to above 888.707.7911. After 12 months, Melissa's recent replies crystallize the impasse. Now, she is insinuating no history viewable for above account which I brought her attention after GSE LLC emailed for renewal of allegedly refunded plan as active. Debbie said it tried to refund my canceled card unsuccessfully in August and no one took action after that. Now, reps like "Melissa M., Marcus VIP Customer Care Team" and "Nicholas" are in place to pretend no knowledge of anything. No direct contact information from them is available but they insist people like Debbie are in charge of this missing refund. This is a scam because failure to complete a requested "full refund" in this context does not authorize it to march forward as if no cancelation were in effect. The end result, it misrepresented its plan as active, offered a refund for that misrepresentation, and then faked CS through its MM-effect to defraud me out of premiums paid. As a result, I asked MM for refund on both membership nos. # *** & *** in full as its CS is a faked show built on telling lies

I was left stranded for 24 hours in ***, three times I was promised a towel and I was left to fend for myself, eventually I got towed by my own expense to a facility not far from where I had broken down, isn't it amazing that I accomplished in 30 minutes what it took them 24 hours not to do.I was promised three times that a tow vehicle was on its way and three times it did not show up.The roadside service for me was a myth, filled with headaches and frustration and constant lies.I did get reimbursed for the tow, but I am out the cost of membership and 24 hours that I will never get back.Stick with AAA, at least they are honest and will tell you what is available so that you can have options. It seems that there are a lot of subcontractors working for this company, they all seem to be living in different areas and working from home which means there is not a consistent message and not consistent service.I am hoping I am the exception , however reading some of the reviews it looks like they have a pattern of sporadic service And disappointing members.Hope this helps.
Heading home from ***, . from a camping trip; about 10 miles out of *** heading south on I-90, I got a blowout on my trailer. I pulled over to the shoulder and put on my flashers, got out and inspected the damage, got back in my truck and called Good *** Roadside Assistance and told the dispatcher what happened and to send a tow truck to change my flat tire with my spare. I gave him my coordinates to locate me. We waited in the hot sun for 5 and1/2 hours. In this period of time, I called the dispatcher three different times asking when help would be arriving. The last call the dispatcher said he couldn't find anybody to help me out. Finally, I called 911 and they sent a Highway Patrol officer. The officer called *** in *** and the Tow Truck arrived in 20 Minutes and changed the tire.; and the dispatcher at Good *** couldn't help me out. I've been a Member of Good *** for a couple of decades, and this is the first time I ever had a blow out and they couldn't help me out.; but they took my money all these years. I would Never Recommend Good *** to anybody after my experience.
