What a mission to speak with anyone having authourity. Impossible to file a complaint regarding a Manager at a location. Why would they be directing me to contact the gym where I am the member when the complaint is about the Manager at the location and how she manages this gym.
You call the toll free number and on hold for over 30 minutes listening to ####. This gym is cutting back in all the wrong places.
I cancelled my membership at three locations but they dont stop taking money out so had to close my bank account, now they dont stop hrassing me by e mail. goddam the good life its hell life
I’m in the same situation. I canceled my membership because I bought my own equipment to workout from home. I spoke with someone about not taking out the last payment and [he] told me to put a stop to it at my bank. I did but they managed to still get it out. Called the bank and they put in a dispute and put the money back and now they are harassing me for $34 , plus now they add tax on to make it $50 something dollars.
My car got hit in the parking lot at the Brock road location in Picketing and my experience was the same. They don't make it easy to speak to anyone because they simply don't care. I commend you for sharing this experience so everyone can be aware as I did as well. NEVER give Goodlife your hard earned money!
I am a member at the good life in Windsor Ontario on lauzon road, I am complaining about membership payment, I am paying to much for montly of 48.96 and I only use pool. because of my back injury do not go upstairs . Well December till now pool is still down and will be down till march 14 . I called complained and they gave me for the montnh of febuary no pay I appreciate this. but always excuses from them, I called head office to complain and try to have some money off because I pay way to much for what I am using, I personally know women that pay half of what I am paying just because they have had there membership longer I don't care I am still a paying customer no one will help or listen answer back repeat, repeat, I am stuck paying this crazy price for only pool use not fair at all, they are not people that will help at all. I just want a reduction on my membership because I only use pool and nothing else. These kids that work there are useless .Time to look elsewhere .Doubt it if I get a answer back, same talk .I just want to use there pool that is it, when I joined this is the price the gave me crazy should be lowered for sure.
I am also having issues with Goodlife Salem location. I have an issue with my corporate membership expiry far too early than it is supposed to . I asked for a person to follow up with and she said you have to contact this email: The email is an automatic reply. How is that going to resolve anything. Then they tell me to call a 1-800 # which says they are experiencing high volume of calls and hangs up. I have spoken to assistant manager of the location and she is not resolving it because she says it is correct. I phoned again to ask for the manager of the Goodlife however apparently he does not have a direct line and the staff do not know his schedule. I left my name and number and he called me back 2 days later. he said he would look into it and then I get a call later from Region cluster manager and he also says that the info they have is correct. I have not been back to the gym since this sept 1, 2021 and my corp membership should have been on hold until then. I am disgusting with the customer service of this company giving people the run a around and no action taken to come to an agreement and assist members that they say are important to them. Horrible company.
I am a 61 year old woman and have been a member of Goodlife in Fredericton, NB since January 2012. My concern is the lack of enforcement of the masking requirements at the club. A number of members continue to disregard the rules/standards in place for where and when to wear their masks. This is not due to the fact that they do not know the rules, it is because they refuse to follow them. When does it reach the point that these members are asked to leave for that day in an effort to instill in them they are not exempt from the rules. I have experienced very aggressive behaviour when I asked a member to please put on his mask. I was told to, "[censored] off" followed by "go [censored] yourself" by this indiividual. He was spoken to and that was it. He should have been told to leave for a least that day. It appears there are no repercussions for those that do not follow the rules. There needs to be more than a "reminder" when the same individuals are "reminded" day in and day out. I feel this is totally unacceptable behaviour by some members and the management as it is risking the health of all other members in the club at the time as well as breaking the laws of the Emergency Measures put in place by the government.
