poor service
Dear sir or madam,
I am writing concerning the poor service I received when I used Grammarly for plagiarism checker.
Yesterday I enrolled to Grammarly website to check my essay's plagiarism. The website showed that only 9% of the essay was plagiarized which then assured me that I can send it to my tutor. I was shocked to find that it my tutor send it back to me with 49% plagiarism.
The plagiarized lines Grammarly gave me were different to those that the tutor gave me.
Moreover, Grammarly have failed to highlight the plagiarisms in common websites.
I've attached two screenshot images to show you an example how different the plagiarism detected by Gammarly and my tutor feedback were. The images also show that for the same paragraph the highlighted plagiarized by my tutor feedback differ from Grammarly. Please tell me if you need further details.
I ask you to give me a full refund of the subscription money I paid and end my subscription ASAP.

Every single day without fail I get the same advert coming through! every ad is the bloody same, grammerly is harrassing me. 3-4 times in a 15min vid is excessive not to mention the amount of time that i spend on youtube and have to endure this crap!, I have adjusted my ad personalisation but to no avail! i have no interest in it please stop showing it!

I was convinced to start a Grammarly premium account for an advertised price of 55% off the regular price from an email for my current free subscription. However, Grammarly did not disclose in the email that the price goes up to the regular price in the next billing period. I cancelled it just minutes afterwards. The subscription in question was a quarterly subscription.

Hi, this is a serious case. I thought it's just going to be $11.66 but then they charge me for $191. Why don't you just state the price that you want and also, I need that money back to pay my school. Grammarly is so helpful but if you're going to continue this, you will just going to trigger everyone to write a complain about you.

I, along with many others apparently, had just recently bought the annual subscription thinking it would be only $11.60 a month but I was charged 139.95 for the entire year. I canceled the subscription almost 2 hours after I discovered the charge. I was really looking forward to using this application too. May I have please have a refund? It would make me feel alot better about the situation.

So I was under the impression that I will be paying $11.66 a month for the annual subscription, not $139.95 all at once. I am wanting to cancel this subscription and get a full refund. The subscriptions are very misleading and grammarly needs to emphasise it more. Many people are having the exact same issue therefore it shows that this is a big problem.

When I was updating to premium subscription I wasn't expecting that you will charge me for the whole amount as one payment. Because of this, I have lost all of my money for living. I want to resign from subscription and I cancelled my premium only a few hours after I realized what happened. I was misled becaused your service is providing false advertising - you claim that I can cancel my subscription during the trial period. I have also contacted my bank which is going to file complaints as well. I would like also to end my subscription immediately and receive a full refund of the money that you took from me. I feel personally tricked and used and, if necessary, I will contact my lawyer. I hope to receive an answer soon. Also, I do not consider transaction to be made because I did not receive any bill or receipt from you! So I was looking at the subscriptions for Grammarly then I stumbled across the 'Annual' subscription. It said it was going to be for $11.66/month but right after I paid for it, apparently it paid the full payment. I didn't know it would pay for the full payment. I paid for it today (03/06/2019)

Grammarly is a fruadulent service. I am very disappointed. I am a teacher and I am going to make sure everyone knows the true in my county and Facebook. They do not disclose price increases to customers and attempt to sign you up on an auto remewal hoping that the customer will not notice the increase in time for renewal. When I signed up for the service it was $83.97. They increased there rate to $139.95... I want my money back and cancelled account.

I never received the premium features I purchased last year from May 8, 2018, to May 8, 2019, and now I am charged for the same thing again on May 8, 2019.
I better get a refund from last year or the next upgrade that totals up to $139.96 which covers the cost of last year's payment and this year's fee since you do not give refunds or I am going to report you to the BBB.
I kept trying to figure out how to contact you but could never find a telephone number to speak with a live person or any other way to contact you until now.
I am highly disappointed with this situation.
I love the idea of Grammarly, but you have only have been receiving the free services people get who do not pay for the upgrades.
I always wondered why I kept getting alerts with a number in a red circle, and words were still underlined in yellow once I would edit writings.
I would appreciate that this matter is taken care of ASAP.

I use premium Grammarly for about two years, and I have to say it's better than any other software I used. Latest MS Word grammar checker is getting awesome, so I might stop paying for Grammarly.
Recently the office addon stopped working, and the only thing I hear from Grammarly Support is to reinstall the add-on. Third time now. This is without any troubleshooting or investigation.
The first time this happened was two years ago and now is happening again. I know case I logged a ticket about this two years ago.

I was a Grammarly Premium subscriber who has recently been charged for an additional year of the service, despite believing I had previously cancelled my plan to prevent auto re-billing.
I also received nil email correspondence from Grammarly regarding the pending renewal, nor a purchase Reciept post a large charge being billed to my credit card.
I raised a support ticket with Grammarly within a few hours of the charge appearing, requesting a refund and despite Grammarly claiming to have 24/7 customer support, I have not received any reply or assistance some 48hrs later.
The way I have been charged and the lack of assistance provided by Grammarly is poor to say the least and inline with a lot of other complaints on this website.
Whilst I enjoyed the product last year, I no longer require premium services and believe I have been charged incorrectly and deceptively.
It's a shame as Grammarly was otherwise a good service, which is completely let down by their lack of support, particularly in relation to billing matters.
Can someone from Grammarly please address my complaint ASAP?

I purchased what I thought was the £8.90 monthly subscription fee from grammarly. Little did I know I actually was charged £111 for the whole year! I was never issued a receipt or a confirmation email about my purchase. I feel completely misled by the company as it was never clearly stated that the full £111 would be taken from my account. I have emailed grammarly but am yet to get a response. I am a student and this amount of money leaving my account has caused massive problems for me financially and I feel completely abused by the site.

The services Grammarly offers is a scam. I was charged almost $140 for a service that I was under the impression was $12. Most users are going to be college and high school students, a population of people who do not a financial means to stabilize after such a great financial feat. The options should be makes more clear for the targeted population.

On 4/28/19, I bought a subscription that had in the large text "11.65 per month" and in smaller letters something about 139.95. I assumed that I was only going to pay 11.65 because that is what it seemed to be offering if it's the first thing a consumer sees. However, when I looked at my bank account, I saw that I was charged the 139.95. I cannot pay that amount of money because I'm a college student that needs all the money they can get. I was only going to use the service for a month, and then I was going to cancel it because I have a few papers that I will be writing. I have tried so many times to contact Grammarly support through their submission form but every time I press to submit, it always refreshes the page without me clicking the refresh button, and my submission form ends up not sending to them which is very frustrating. It also doesn't help that I have tried calling their toll free number and I only get the operator telling that I should go to Grammarly support online if I have any questions. I feel like I got scammed for my money and I really need it back.
