I purchased a timeshare package for $299.00 for 3 nites, 4 days in 3 different locations. The first one being Las Vegas. We were not happy with the Tuscany Suites they put us in and requested to be placed on the Strip. For additional money, they were supposed to put us in what I understood was the Jockey Club but ended up in the Polo Towers. Our room was the size of a broom closet with a pull out sofa sleeper. I wish I had taken a pic but believe me, it was the size of a walk-in closet. And yes all the information was a 90 min. presentation which they were quick to inform us was 120 min. It was like buying a used car, no wait, that doesn't even take that long. Everything they told us was a fabrication and they (being Julie Spellman and Dean Parker) said they were not responsible for our room, etc. They offer 2 $100.00 dining visa cards, but in reality, that is also a scam. You have to go online, register, etc. Really. They don't even tell you the timeshare is Sapphire Resorts. If anybody calls you and starts out with "a stay in Las Vegas" HANG UP THE PHONE IMMEDIATELY OR YOU WILL WISH YOU HAD!
Our experience (Jan 2023): Great Vacations is a company based on inaccuracies, false promises, and sales pressure. Once they got our money they 'forgot' about us. They promised to send a 'Welcome Package' in a week: 3 weeks later they were not responding our phone calls and when they did they left an out-of-order return number. When you complain they counter with more lies about unsent emails or phone calls. We are in the process of filing a complaint with every possible national & local agency for praying especially on seniors.
Stay away: far, far away, and if you did sign something, fight it.
