I visited a check cashing location on October 8th and to cash a rather large check. They ended up loading $2500 on a Greendot card because they didn't have enough cash on site. After using the card to make a few purchases, I am now receiving a decline notice. Despite calling customer service over six times, they are not providing assistance. They claimed to have resolved the issue, but the decline persists. To make matters worse, customer service has gone as far as lying, hanging up, and changing the subject when I contacted them on chat. This morning, I discovered that approximately $500 was missing from my balance. When I called customer service, they tried to explain, but could not deny math and receipts. As if sensing she was caught the phone call dropped, suddenly, I was logged out of my Greendot account, and when I logged back in, my missing money was back. Nevertheless, my online transaction was declined again. After calling customer service once more, they blamed it on their server and instructed me to try again in an hour. Despite following their instructions, the decline remains. This is unacceptable, and they are stealing from people without any accountability.
Desired outcome: Either approve my large purchase so that I can clear all my money out or transfer it into my other bank account. They need to be shut down.
