Hearst Communications NBC Blackout

You and Dish knew the contract renewal date. Quit being greedy! I haven't been able to watch NBC for a month now, missing the Today show, local news, football and many other shows I watch.

You're not hurting Dish, you are hurting people like me, ordinary citizens that depend on you doing the right thing. These are Federal airwaves that are a citizen's right to be able to view.

Compromise!

Hearst Communications Receiving 2 magazines I did not request. A stranger sent the postcard as me.

Two years ago a friend gave me a sub to Bazaar mag and I let it run out (WAY over my league). I have been harassed by your company with "late payment, you have not paid, etc." I'm not the one who paid for it initially.

Last week I started receiving Cosmopolitan magazine. I'm 70 years old and what would I want either of these magazines for?

I believe a stranger turned the subscription card in that had my name on it.

I am furious and want my name taken off your mailing address and CANCEL both subscriptions ASAP.

Desired outcome: I want you to stop sending these 2 magazines immediately and take my name off your mailing list. If I should speak with someone else, please put me in touch. Do not charge me for the few you have sent me already.

Hearst Communications subscription

I subscribed to receive 10 magazines in a year they sent one magazine. PayPal refunded my money for that complaint. I thought it was over until today July 1, 2022. PayPal was charged $34.96 ? In the year since the first complaint, I have received ZERO magazines. I found your website when I googled 'Hearst' and see many people are saying Hearst is a scam. I filed another complaint to PayPal and hopefully I will receive a refund for this amount too.

Desired outcome: I cannot contact them, maybe you can, but I want them closed down.

Hearst Communications Magazines

Very disappointed in all your magazines
I have been buying your magazines for years
I plan to cancel all my subscriptions

I have been waiting seems 2016 for any of your magazines to put MELANIA TRUMP on the covers and some kind of interview with here
Or even acknowledge she was Our First Lady of the USA

If you can tell me why for the first time in my 74 years you choose not to put this beautiful intelligent women any press
74 million loved this women
Why why why did you not recognize her status in OUR WHITE HOUSE

I already have a subscription and it began arriving in my alias. I don't know how it was sent to me. I've not used that name since 2012. I did not receive a bill. How did they get paid? When I went to cancel at HGTV Mag it produced an error message. Did someone breach old information and not tell us? Identify theft? Thank you. I sent a follow-up email to: mailto:HGTcustserv@cdsfulfillment.com

Hearst Communications oprah magazine [protected]

I purchased a computer at Overstock.com about 2-3 years ago. After making the online payment, I got what turned out to be a Publisher's Clearinghouse invitation. It said that given my large ($2, 000), I would get a free subscription to Oprah Mag. Well, that turned into a major lie. I got a bill which I refused to pay.

Lo and behold, I just got a second invoice for another Oprah Magazine subscription that I never ordered. HCH no longer have my credit card, so now I'm getting a demand for payment invoice and a huge warning. I never ordered this second order.

I'm sick and tired of this nonsense. I never ordered this. Pls, stop contacting me demanding payment for something I canceled two years ago. I feel totally conned by you. I was advised to file a complaint to the attorney general of Illinois.

Hearst Communications hgtv and food network magazines

I didn't subscribe to HGTV magazine or Food Network Magazine. I was surprised when I received an issue of each of these magazines.
I did enter a couple of contests and used the enter without subscribing link. Either your software is broken or it's a scam.
Also I was surprised I had an account with you when I tried unsubscribing. I don't think I created an account with you?
I looked on the Better Business Bureau and saw your company has 500+ complaints.

Hearst Communications unsolicited magazines/fitness book

This company mailed an unsolicited book to me. I never placed an order for this book, nor did I give them my credit or debit card information. Because I didn't want to order their books or magazines. They are part of Prevention.com I believe, a health and wellness website that I frequently visit for free diet and exercise information. This is an internet phishing scam. Somehow Prevention.com acquired my mailing address and Hearst Media mailed a book to me with no way to return the book free of postage.

Now they keep sending me a bill for $44.60 that I do not intend to pay. If they want the book back, then they can send me a postage paid mailer and I will be glad to mail it back to them. Otherwise, I will consider the book a gift by the company since I did not place an order for it.

Other similar complaints have been lodged on several BBB websites in several states.

Hearst Communications new haven register

Who would I speak with about someone helping me with an issue I am having as an employee of the New Haven Register. I was hit by a car and assaulted by a man and begged for camera footage to prove it and was ultimately fired based off of actions of mine that were approached with reasonably and respect until the last time I demanded footage and was threatened everyday to lose my job.

I have text messages and communications with my manager and other managers that prove this is prejudice against me and not my work performance.

Hearst Communications magazine subscription

I want to write and just say how disgusted I am with this company (elle decor is the actual subscription). My renewal card has a phone # to call and 'cancel at any time'. And apparently they want to sell me everything under the sun! Hearing aids, cell phone service, cable service, addiction counseling oh and apparently i've won a cruise and a shopping card. Shame on them! After sitting on the phone waiting for an actual option to cancel, the phone # 'for my area' had changed and then that # only gave me an option to buy cable. I will never opt in for this subscription again. Beware that this company has their hands in so many pockets for revenue that phoning the company was actually not possible. I went online to cancel, which I prefer. But it wasn't too long ago that it wasn't possible to cancel subscriptions online and you had to phone in. But with only a phone number on the renewal postcard I just went that route. There really should be a way to order subscriptions and opt for no auto renew.

Hearst Communications auto parts and bicycling magazine

My husband had now received two invoivces within one week of each other from the Hearst Communications company. The first one was for auto parts and the second one a bicycling magazine. The bicycle magazine appearntly was started on 8/24/2018. I then got the first invoice on 8/25 for the auto parts one and the bicycle one on 11/2. My husband nor I signed up for these. I called them twice now and cancelled both. I asked for a supervisor and they said none was able to take my call. They are located in the Philippines. I asked for them to check and see if I had any other subscription and are names that we did not sign up for. She just kept saying this one was cancelled and could not confirm if I did or did not. So annoying!

Hearst Communications unauthorized bill

I was tricked by entering a sweepstakes that said no purchase necessary and immediately got a bill for Good Housekeeping that I didn't want. There is no customer service phone number and no human to connect with to resolve. I feel I was extorted. Such corporate behavior is irresponsible and corrupt. They only do this because they can get away with it.

Hearst Communications food network and good housekeeping magazines

I ordered these as gifts for my granddaughter and paid by credit card at the time of order. About three months later, I began receiving invoices through the mail. I used the customer feedback form to inform Hearst that I had paid for both. Rather than a human response, I began receiving the invoices through email as well as regular mail. Now they are threatening to cancel both subscriptions even though they are paid for. I have responded to each email but still get only the automated invoice or cutoff threat. Absolutely the worst customer service experience.

Hearst Communications email rec's today

This is the 4th request I've rec'd requesting and my 4th response.

I do not have my account number since I remove the address labels upon receipt. The last invoice I received had a payment ref# [protected]

I issued check payable to Goodhousekeeoung for a dual subscription for Good Housekeeping/Woman's Day: #568 dated 2/12/18 for $8.00. The check cleared my bank account 2/16/18.

To get a copy of check to prove I paid will be a cost which impacts the cost of your magazine to me. Most likely you've already spent more than $8.00 trying to collect a debt I do not owe. That doesn't count the cost of time to both you and me.

Hearst Communications magazine subscription I didn't agree to

Don't know my account number
I entered a contest online that said no purchase needed but right away I got an email saying Magazine subscription...I immediately replied back saying I did not want it.
Couple of weeks later I get a magazine in my mail box...same day I took it back to the postal station and sent it back to you with a note saying I did not want this and can not afford another bill.
Again I am saying this to your...cancel the account stop billing me for something I didn't agree to and have sent you back what you sent me so no bill. If you send me more of them I will just send them back and take you to small claims court over the cost of mailing them back.
Stop it now
Kat

I have received a subscription notice that my payments were overdue when the subscription doesn't expire
until 2019. How do I cancel my subscription? I signed up for 2 years when I made the first payment. Apparently they do not honor that 2 year subscription.

Hearst Communications telephone solicitation for magazine subscriptions / renewals

I keep receiving telephone calls from [protected] (Jasper, TX per caller ID), stating they represent Hearst Magazines and want me to renew my subscriptions. I have received over 20 calls (most unanswered), however, on 3 occasions I answered, then declined the offer and asked to be removed from the call list. The caller stated I would be removed. After a few days, the calls begin again. Today, 7/11/17 @ 8:03 PM Eastern, I received another call and again stated I'm not interested and this time asked for a supervisor. The caller said I would be removed. When I stated I've been told that before and wanted to speak to a supervisor, the caller hung up on me. I did file a complaint with the FTC. All I want is for this company to quit calling me. If my subscription to the magazines imply permission to keep calling me, then I will not renew my subscriptions when they come due. Thank you.

Hearst Communications country living subscription

I did not order this magazine or any other for that matter, cancel all orders from my address. I believe that your sales tactic sucks by tricking the consumer into purchasing your magazines by entering one of your damn sweepstakes. You say my complaint is too short so I DO NOT WANT YOUR PRODUCT SO DO NOT, I REPEAT-DO NOT CHARGE ME AT MY BANK FOR ANYTHING! I am not happy with you folks. I do not like companies like you who trick people into buying anything. That's just plain thieving on your part. Refund my money and do not charge me ever ever again

I could not go back and reply or respond to elle decor, or contact customer service! it's a grand rip off and I'm highly upset that a company would use these tactis to make money off the unaware! They will never get a nickle from me! Put it on my credit report all you want to. I will not be threathen or bullied by you losers

Hearst Communications local channels have been removed from my direct tv lineup

Hearst television is preventing ksbw’s signal from reaching my home unless they receive a significant increase in fees just to allow me to keep watching shows that remain available for free over-the-air on channels 9 and 8 and that abc and nbc typically stream for free at abc.com and nbc.com or to fans using the watchabc or nbc apps. Negotiators have asked hearst to return ksbw while attempts are made to resolve this matter privately, but hearst continues to refuse. Hearst has suspended its stations briefly from tv providers’ customers before, and this practice is discriminatory.
My comment on facebook:
Hearst tv corporation is discriminating against the non-rich population (Who got a good bundle price for tv, internet and att phone - who did that to cut costs for these services that will fit better into our tight budgets). This greedy corporation needs to fund it's newly promoted, highly priced executives on the backs of middle class consumers (Many of us are seniors on fixed incomes who will choose "will I eat today or will I put that money to increased costs of tv which is our main connection to local news, emergency alerts and entertainment available to us?" shame on you hearst!
