Jerimie was professional, friendly and very efficient getting the job done. We discussed our problem and he gave us several suggestions and we picked the one we thought best for our needs. That was good since we really appreciate the solution. Work done quickly because he called in another worker to meet our time frame and was done, everything cleaned up over an hour before we needed things to get done, I appreciate the quality of the man and the work and have used this outfit many times over the years and never been anything but delighted with results.

Nate my service tech was exceptional! He performed a through analysis of my furness and outdoor air conditioning unit in my condo located in Woodbury. He took the time to go over the results with me and Allowed me to ask questions of which he had the answers to. Now I can prepare myself for what will likely need attention in the future to make my furness and air conditioning units run at their top performance. I would highly recommend this company and this service tech for anyone looking to have their furness or air conditioning units serviced in the future.

Tyler was here to advice me on a new Carrier Furnace and AC for a townhome, so 80%. We has an Excellent half hour discussion of my thoughts of getting the units in quarter 1 or 2 of 2021, when there would be a price increase and the quotes are for 30 days. Tyler had a look at the existing 2004 Carrier Furnace and AC and the infrastructure - making only one modification for safety and Code and gave me a oral estimate for a complete job now, with higher total with 2021 price increases. Tyler was quick and highly professional - so I plan to have him return when I am ready for the job and financing arranged.

Had Hot Water Heater installed, total cost $3400 which was excessive. In process Adam had inappropriatedly rerouted pipes and disabled our solar water heater. When informed, Adam came back, had to convince him of his error which he finally acknowledged. I was stuck with the bill, had to repair it myself after failed attempts to work with company. When finally addressed with the CEO, Andy Ryan, he claimed no knowledge of it. The entire experience extremely disappointing. It appears the way the company is set up, all the plumbers are independent contractors, so when something goes wrong no one takes responsibility. In future will call local independent plumber who takes pride in his work.

HIGHWAY ROBBERY AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We had a plumber from HomeWorks to our house to replace our outside faucet and replace a foot of copper pipe that had a leak. We paid over $1000 for 20 minutes of work from the plumber. The invoice was not broken down by parts, labor or taxes. Even if the parts were $300 (which would be ridiculous high) that leaves $700 for 20 minutes of work which is an hourly wage of $2100. I have called the company 5 times over the last 9 days and have yet been able to talk to someone of authority that can explain to me the hourly rate situation. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM.
Put 2 faucets in for us, one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom and did a great job so we called them for a estimate on a water heater issue and he gave us several options great guy

We had HomeWorks come for a free check up on our boiler today
We had HomeWorks come for a free check up on our boiler today. They did a CO reading with the result of 300 and they needed to turn off the boiler because it was a dangerous level. They also stated that the boiler needed to be scrubbed and they would do this for $900, this would fix the CO level problem. HomeWorks also offered a fact sheet for a furnace Heat exchanger for leakage test. We called the original company who put in our boiler about 5 years ago (who came out one hour after the HomeWorks appointment to give a second opinion) to check out the boiler and CO level and their level reading was at 45. HomeWorks had given us a fact sheet for a furnace heat exchanger and the original company told us the boiler does not have a heat exchanger. Would not recommend this company.

I purchased a water softener system from them about 18 months ago
I purchased a water softener system from them about 18 months ago. We had a problem immediately and they came out and installed an iron filter. I had them out about six months ago to replace the filter and asked about the salt in the tank. The tech said it was fine even though it had hardened. He said to just hammer it loose and it would be fine. The system has preformed less and less well ever since and now is really not functioning at well. I called last Wednesday and asked to speak to a manager or owner. I was told that someone would call me within 24 hours. I called again Friday and today (Monday) and have not been able to talk to anyone in Management. The system is still under warrantee but I have lost total faith in HomeWorks. I had since spoken to a rep at the OEM and they said that the tech was wrong about what was going on with my system.

Company was very quick to respond to request for boiler replacement estimate. Sent very helpful and courteous agent to view our old boiler and discuss replacement options. Before he left, agent informed us that we would receive an estimate from Scott N. After waiting several days, I sent an email to Mr N. days asking when we would receive an estimate. When he didn't respond, I called the Homeworks main office yesterday morning asking whom I could speak to about the lack of an estimate and a response. I was informed I would need to speak to Scott N and that he would call me back. When I objected and stated that Scott never responded to my email, the woman I spoke to insisted I had to speak with him and assured me that he would call me back. Needless to say he never called back or responded. Extremely disappointed, particularly after reading what seemed to be good reviews. Given this experience, something appears very odd and wrong with this company.

Tank type Hot water Heater replacement. The company communicated regularly regarding the appointment, including an update on arrival time. The technician arrived precisely as notified and thoroughly explained the recommendation showing the changes needed to be made to the gas valve, pipe, and exhaust and noting places where the existing unit showed signs of failure. He also explained optional items and clarified our usage and long-range potential needs. Rugs were placed, "booties" worn and since the pandemic was occurring at the time, the technician wore a mask. The quote was given as "firm" and that anything additionally needed would not add to the cost. The replacement unit arrived in a short time and the entire replacement process was completed in less than 2 hours. The technician explained and showed the changes made, gave a review of proper maintenance and left the installation clean and neat. This review is made immediately after the installation/ replacement, so I cannot comment on if there are any further issues. Business wise, I felt confident of a reputable firm and a professional technician who was courteous and communicative.

Pardon my delayed response as the service and all was on 22 July @ about 8:30AM. Indeed I was impressed with the two person team that came, Tyler S and Jeff K, as support and stayed throughout until 10:15AM. As is my normal practice, I made a few comment as they began and left for Tyler to do all the technical plumbing facets in the full service; then came to his evaluation, comments and advices which I was pleased to receive. Tyler show pictures of the system, and suggested changing the Pelican Sediment & Choline Filters, which Kent the handy man will soon do! Tyler showed me the burner and pilot light which had carbon and rust on the burner; I gave the go ahead to replace it which Tyler did; and then shower the clean burning! He showed my the AIOD ROD which was deteriorated. I enquired if there was a solution to periodically buying these Iron Rods there was an alternative solution. Indeed, Tyler said the Electronic ANOD Rod is guaranteed for 20 years. I showed my keen interest and Tyler provided more explanation and the price installed. I will try to get this replacement before this time next year when I'll request Tyler to so the plumbing system check-up! Essentially, with this annual plumbing system check up, including the expensive Rheem 50 gal I bought from Home Works in 2021, the superior plumbing system maintained by Tyler and very selected additions enable me to have Peace of Mind in this department!

Jeremy was professional, knowledgable and very friendly. He came to fix my shower faucet that had broken and he also replaced cartridges in my kitchen sink faucet which was leaking. He went over all my options for fixing the shower faucet and answered all my questions. There was no pressure to pick one option over the other. I was very pleased with the work that Jeremy did. My issue is that the shower faucet broke Friday night about 10 pm. I called Saturday morning at 8 am to hopefully get a new faucet installed over the weekend. I have the HomeWorks Plan and they advertise their 24/7 service. I was told they had no more emergency weekend appointments available and so I was scheduled for Monday morning for between 8-1030 am. I also was not asked if I had been able to turn off the water on my faucet after it broke, which luckily I had been able to do. On Monday morning, I was called about 930 am to say that the plumber how had been scheduled to come, was going to be tied up the rest of the day. They asked if they could send someone out between 1030-1 pm. I told them this was ok. Then about 1130 am or so I was called and told that it was very doubtful that anyone would be able to come out on Monday. So I was rescheduled for Tuesday from 8-1030 am. Jeremy arrived on Tuesday about 820 am. Again my issue is not with Jeremy but the fact it was 72 hours from when I first called until Jeremy arrived to fix my shower faucet. I am very disappointed. I expected better, especially since I have the HomeWorks Plan.

A very personable salesman arrived to look over our issue and made several suggestions in addition to our original request. We decided to go with all of his suggestions and ran up a hefty estimate. They came out to complete our order very quickly -- within about a week . It took three workman all afternoon and they were very patient and listened to us and talked over everything with us. We ended up doing things a little differently than laid out in our estimate and I think it was substantially easier for them on the install. We did not get any other estimates from other companies and when I looked online for what our services should cost, they were at the high end. As to whether we will be satisfied with the performance of our install, we will have to see because it was primarily concerning our air conditioning and we won't be running it much if at all until next summer. They did not adjust our bill at all for the changes made, fair enough, as we accepted their estimate, but it would have been a nice, in good faith, consideration. Overall, the installation experience was one of the best I have ever had with the technicians working with us to make sure they did things the way we wanted. The pipes were all secured neatly and they even redirected a wire protruding out of our house to run with the other pipework. They cleaned up really well and left the work areas immaculate. Hoping to enjoy cleaner air with the installation of the electronic air cleaner and a more even temperature in our basement with the installation of another return vent. My only reservations are that our services were a bit overpriced even with some discounts we received. However, I do want to see businesses succeed through this pandemic and keep these young guys with families working, so if by paying a little more than possibly we should have, that is accomplished, I 'm okay with that.
