hanna and tara
I was at hooters at the mall of america. I was waiting to be seated. Hanna came up to me and said she was not in a good mood and she said she didn't want to deal with me and serve me. I got scared. She was never like that. She was always nice. I don't know if somebody told her that I said something bad about her or what, but i've ben there since they where first open and I said hi to tara and she said hi with a unfriendly look. I talk to her and she said hi in a very quiet tone. I hate to see them lose there job but I would like them to be more nicer to me and other people. I hope this won't happen again. And I talked to nick hoping he will take care of it. The rest of them where always nice and polite. It hurts me and makes me unhappy. It's not right and it's not good service. Thanks!

My family and I frequent the Hooters in North Myrtle by Bass Pro. One of the servers there Mary West was arrested for shoplifting on 1/19/2018 at the business where my wife works. Not only is a criminal working for your company, numerous customers have stated that this same employee was involved with a theft of a gun that was used in another crime. She has appeared high and wreaked of marijuana at work, we eat at Hooters once a week. Until this establishment rids itself of questionable employees with criminal activities, my family will not be back. I myself own a business in Myrtle Beach and cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to my clients.
I travel a lot for a living been to so many different restaurants. While staying down town San Antonio ended up checking out the one location on the river walk.. let's just say every time I come back I will definitely be sitting at the bar. My bartenders name was "Maria" not only was she very attentive as I sat there I realized how she got everyone at the bar to interact with each other. Made new friends had great laugh delicious food great cold beer watched a few basketball games. She always kept up w us guys said a few jokes here and there while still taking care of everything else going on. Let's just say I walked in there not having the best day and ended up leaving making new friends and I will definitely make that my new spot when I'm in town thank You HOOTERS and Maria for making me feel welcomed !
customer service
I placed a order online for 6 smoked wings and buffalo chicken dip when when I went to pick it up after the 20 min that it told me to wait I get there to find that my food had not been cooked yet no big deal when I get home I have fried pickles instead on top of the fact there was no flat wings like I wanted and then I call the restaurant and she's talking to me and 5 others at the same time really? My husband took me to your restaurant just because I wanted that dip. I won't be eating at your restaurant anymore and we go there a lot. We now will be sole taco mac customers
wings and sodas
My family and I went to hooters in St Thomas us virgin islands 2weeks ago. The wings were suppose to be hot wings, they came out and they were a strange yellow color and didn't look like chicken wings. They had a funny taste and when we said something to the waitress she acted like she didn't know what we were saying. The soda tasted gross. There was no manager on duty according to our waitress. We ended up just paying our $100 bill for food that didn't get eaten and walked down the street to another place. We were really disappointed in the inconsistency between hooters. We would not recommend that one to anyone.
customer service
I order wings online every weekend for football from the rivergate location in Goodlettsville, TN.
I have had issues with this location with orders being mixed up and missing items but on January 13, 2018 I ordered at 4:15 pm and gave a pick up time of 6:00 because the game started at 7:00.
When I arrived there were a lot of angry customers waiting for their take out orders that when they phoned they were told it would be 30 minutes and after an hour some of them just left. And I was told mine wasn't quite ready. At 6:30 I asked again and was ignored. At 6:45 I asked to speak to a manager and was told they would look into it. I received my order at 7:30 and items were missing.
An hour and a half wait for an online order is unacceptable with no apology or anything.
We also got attitude from one of the managers because people were getting impatient.
When the food finally came out it would just sit there because the bartender was serving other customers and chatting so the food was also getting cold. I offered to go back and bag so people could get their food.
This service is unacceptable because it wasn't even busy inside the restaurant, and I can see why.
I will no longer order my wings from Hooters at this location, there are other options.
I have been in the service establishment for many years and would never treat customers the way several people were treated yesterday. If I wouldn't have prepaid I would have left like several other customers.
wings; (
Wow, Where to start! I am a native Floridan, Clearwater to be exact. I have been eating Hooters wings since I was 10! I grew up eating hooters chicken wings, going to foot ball games In Tampa, going to hooters during the week and missing school to watch the players do radio interviews and eat wings, watch NASCAR #24 with hooters wings and so on! Not to mention naturally fresh light Ranch used to be my favorite. We haven't eaten at Hooters for over a year & wow has it changed. We are traveling, wanted Hooters & just stopped in Knoxville. Firstly, our waitress, Paris, was so dumb! I ordered the original wings & she was dumbfounded, asked if That was the boneless. After 5 min of explaining we finished order. When the food came out, our 30 wings were naked with Med Sauce. I have gotten them naked and plain before, so we just ate. They were horrible! The chicken was so dry (the color was so dark)& not juicy at all. Our Curley fries were like warm and didn't have the fry salt;( I had to ask for it, it wasn't on the table. So very disappointed. It's like everything changed: the Owel;(, the wings (did the recipe change), the fries were smaller and not hot, & even the Ranch wasn't good; too thin and not creamy! We were going to complain to the MOD: ROJO. We asked to see him, but 5 min later still no manager. We needed to leave due to traveling deadline. I really wanted to make you aware because I am a hooters girl and am so sad that Hooters really disappointed!
food
12/3/2017 4:30 pm. Wings were under cooked, sliders not what ordered, onion rings were burnt. Asked several waitresses to get our waitress, she never came back except to bring the bill. She asked if we wanted to take it home. I said no and explained the food probl rm. Her answer "oh well". Birthday party of 6 bill of over 80.00. Paid bill and left the food on the table. Never again. Shrewsbury. Ma location.
payroll
Hi my name is Cortney Hogan. I worked for Hooters in garland as a hostess for 4 days and they withheld my paycheck and the general manager keeps ignoring me. I am very upset about how the management is at this location. Not paying their employees for hours they have worked is against the law. Freddy is the general manager I've been trying to get in hold of. I would like to see something being done about this.
Texas law states if they let you go, they have 6 days to pay you. If you quit, your paycheck is to be paid on their next regular payday. Contact Corporate.
You may want to try contacting human resources or payroll. I would recommend escalating your issue past the general manager.
lousy management
The restaurant was not packed and the lady told us the wait was gonna be 25-30 because of short staff she didn't even ask us to sit while we waited at least and we stood there by the door for about that time until she sat us and then when she got us a table she got us a high chair table and we told her it was 7 of us and that we riding think we were gonna fit but she told us that she was gonna get us another chair but we looked and we thought we were not gonna fit we also saw another group of family that were 7 too and they were on a low table and it was 2 tables together but she couldn't have done that also when she told us she kind of told us in a mean way with and attitude but we left it alone I think she is racist
Did you ask to be seated right away? Did you ask for a low table? Your complaint is a little difficult to read due to your run-on sentences. That being said, it is common to have a longer wait when you have such a large party. For a group of seven people, it's better to call in advance. Also, you have no evidence or proof of racism here. Just because there was a wait and you received a table you didn't like doesn't mean any discrimination occurred.
hooters by mall of ga.
Hi there - Hooters,
I am Mr. B. Campbell I run a non-profit Community Organization in which we Teach Life Skills to the Community since 2003 based out of Gwinnett County, Ga. I am the Lead Instructor and for some years now me and my Asst. Instructor Team regularly frequent your Hooters right by the Mall of Ga. in Buford, Ga. We have always spoke very Highly of Our very Positive and Friendly Environment Experience there and encouraged as many as We can to come and have the experience for themselves. We have gotten to know one of the managers there name -Loui - pretty well. Great guy he is the ideal manager always making sure eveyone is taken care of (customers) and the place is running smoothly (staff)... And I know a lot about management because I work within upper management for Wal-Mart for 10 years.
Well our fantastic on-going experience there came to a screeching hault last night when we we're there on Sat. 12/2/17 between the hours of around 8pm. - 1am. When we encountered a manager with no name badge, no smile at anyone and very unfriendly attitude with bad vibes and negative energy as he walked though the place giving off a bad oraa ...just the opposite of our long term experience with -Loui there. After asking him his name since he had on no name badge - he shared it is - Paul. We had some questions about some food that we ordered and some price changes in the menu that we did not realized had changed. He immediately gave us nothing but attitude about it - starting a fire - instead of putting one out as I was always train in management that managers do. We called it people skills one of the primary qualifications for a good manager. Well obviously he did not need people skills to be a manager because they are lacking greatly.
As we observed him the rest of the night - he walks around like he is a slave master carring a whip. I can easily see him eventually being the reason you all loose a lot of long time loyal customers their like us and also a lot of good employee causing a very high turn over rate. I have learned not to judge a whole company by one person - causing you all to loose our loyal support over him in which we were very close to doing.
Instead I decided to take out the time to share this hearfelt very disappointing negative experience the one person created for us last night out of all the rest of the times we have been that and had great positive experiences. Hoping this will put us back on track with regular attendance there and help you all promote by continuing to encourage others in the area to go there as well . Appreciate your time and attention to this heartfelt matter and hope to here back from you very soon with a positive resolution to move forward as continued loyal long time customers and partners of yours in the community.
Graatly Appreciated,
-B. Campbell
taco salad without any tortilla
We ordered a taco salad that came to our table without tortillas and the manager was standing one table away talking to someone else and was informed by or waitress Latisha in Manassas VA on 12-02-2017 at 10:30pm and he didn't say or do anything 15 minutes later they bring out 5 tortillas. To top it all off of we had multiple orders that were came to our tables NOT at the same time estimated time 5 minutes apart. It ruin our outing as group especially when we don't get to our together due our career and life schedule are complex. I'm really sad and disappointed and I have eaten at multiple Hooter in multiple states and never had this problem until I came to this Hooters in Manassas Va which is 10 minutes away from where I just moved too. I'm very very very disappointed how this situation was handled by the manager. I hope he notified and he improves his customer service.
about staff problems
Good morning.my name is nilanka weerawansha. I'm a srilankan guy who's living in Nagoya japan.also I'm a one of those open staff who's working at Nagoya hooters.we have lots of problems with management and their behavior is very bad. I'm studying hotel management and food and beverage in university.manager at n Nagoya hooters is allowing to serve those foods which are spoiled.we are helpless.we know how to serve delicious foods and how to make.but management is not very good with kitchen staff and foreign staff.even I'm working as senior a open staff I can't work properly.there are lot of shift problems and Japanese guys who joined recently don't work properly but they received lots of hours to work despite the fact that we are working hard.if I'm going to complain this for hooters japan headquarters I have to face lots of troubles.we built a good restaurant last one year and after those open managing staff got their transfers we started to face lots of troubles and those foolish Japanese manager who is in charge right now got very much of freedom.i don't know how he became as a manager even he don't know how to cook and don't know how to make a drink.by the way as a staff we don't have enough materials to make preparations and serve food.you can see it if you're looking at hooters Nagoya ratings on google.please help us.we are helpless.

I've dreamed of being a Hooters girl since I was 18 but could never bc I've always been a bigger girl. In my 20yrs since then I've been beaten, raped, buried a child and overcame addiction. I got a sleeve on my right arm of roses and wings to symbolize my story...beauty and strength. After a recent breakup I hit the workouts hard and lost a significant amount of weight so I thought I would chase a dream and apply. Interview went great, had a fitting the following day and I was so proud of myself. I was denied employment bc of my tattoos. They have many complaints saying the waitresses clearly didn't wanna be there and that's bc they don't hire the ones that do!
service
We were not even acknowledged when we first walked in due to three of the girls being on their phones. After that everything just went downhill, our server, Emily was just not very concerned with my wife and I and we waited for everything we asked for and even had to ask other servers (who weren't any better and the one girl, Kelsey had an attitude) for more refills or sauces. The girls were just cussing and talking about inappropriate things very loudly in front of myself and other guest as if they didn't care that people were in their restaurant. We did not see a manager to talk to and were just ready to leave after our meal. Worst experience we have had at this hooters, this store has gone downhill since the last time we visited, we usually sit at the bar on weekends when we come but very doubtful that we return.
Did you ask directly to speak with a manager?
product/staff
First let me start off by saying I loveeeeee Hooters.. it atleast used to. I live less than a mile from the Hooters on lakshore Dr. In Birmingham AL so ofcourse I go there several times a week. I am a veteran and I just got back from a deployment 3 weeks ago and like always I went to hooters for veterans day. Well... while there trying to watch the Alabama game a staff member came from the kitchen and at the top of hiss lungs yelled "bama sucks.. which one of yall wants to fight about it" I mean... What the... What personnel are your managers hireing.. the manager was sitting no more than 15 ft away in the office.. I know because I was at the corner bar seat. The waitress staff knows me by name. The old managers knew me by name it was so heartwarming. Since they left.. the food quality... I mean cmon it's so bad. Wear is the quality control.. the expiditors running the kitchen.. I'll tell you sitting in the office with full tables packed... on veterans day. I sat there and watched it. It's like they fry wings then sauce then refry... the sauce is non existent after that.. You always have to ask for extra sauce.. then what? Pay extra extra for it? Why it makes no sense... I only wrote this much because I'm so involved with Hooters as a customer.. as a veteran.. as a consumer.. this one whent downhill quick.. and it is very apparent why. Please help with much love Daniel j. Phelps. Ps. The photo I added is ove breaded original buffalo... if your unfamiliar.. look at how you guys used to make them
service
I went to hooters in jackson ms at 8 at night on Saturday night November 11th.
I received the worst service ever by a hooter girl named kadeshia. Her boyfriend was up there and she couldnt wait on us for laying up and holding hands.with him. Hooter girls boyfriends should not be allowed in the resteraunt to date there girlfriends who are there to do a job. This is not allowed anywhere else in a professional world and should not be allowed here!
I wont be back!

I am a regular hootes customer. I have been going to the hooters in memphis at downtown and at wolfchase every weekend as i love their wings. They have never charges me extra for ranch and buffalo saice with my wings. This time i was charged 99 cents each for the extra sauces. When i complained the manager was exteremly rude and shouted. She was continuoisly arguing with me that its not possible that any of the server have given you for free and was saying me everything that was not related. I felt so ashamed and i gave her all the money. But this was highly unexpeded attitude. I have heard that the customer is always right but according to her it was very bad attitude.
Hopefully both customer and manager can communicate in a reasonable fashion. Do I believe the customer is always right? No. No more than I'd believe the the business is always right. But a wise business should always make a customer feel welcome, even when a response may require a 'no' response. Ideally, is it worth alienating a customer, especially a regular, over $2? Of course not. The better way of handling it is maybe saying, "Yes. We do charge extra for the sauces. Can't imagine why you weren't charged before. Don't worry about on this one, though. We'll just waive it."
hooters in fairview heights illinois
Hi, my nmae is Kimberly Green and on 11/8 I ordered 20 wings for myself and my Co-workers and I asked that they be extra wet, they were not. My breaded wings were horrible there was no heat to my food. When I asked the waitress did she put in to have my wings extra wet she said said but it soaked into the chicken. Overall I was very unsatisfied and I feel that my money and my Co-Workers money went to complete waste. I hate to complain but I paid for something and I wasn't pleased. I eat at Hooters quite often & I always enjoy my food I don't know if our food was rushed or not but it was not good at all. Thanks!
food.
It was Friday, november 3rd at the Farmingdale location. Time was 5:10pm. I ordered parmesan garlic wings 10 count. I spent 34 total for my food. 6 count of chipotle wings and shrimp. I got it there was a whole bunch of oil on the bottom of the wings. I couldn't even eat it. It was so nasty and I didn't have time to go back to complain. I was on my lunch. I will never order from there again.
service /food
On yesterday, nov 2 I ordered a take out from Hooters at 4521 Southside Blvd in Jacksonville, Fl. I went to the bar and Sam took my order. Sam attitude was as if she didn't want to be at work and she was very nice nasty. I waited about 15 minutes to get my food. I got my food and my chicken was burnt and didn't get my drink. I also ordered buffalo shrimp and my shrimp was very tiny. I couldn't say anything time because I had to go back to work.
Did you try calling the location you purchased the food at? If you ate the meal you will most likely not receive a refund or replacement, but it is still good to contact them.
