They charge me for one year
I sent the email to request cancellation on June 3rd 2023. I trusted they would do their part and cancel. Nope! One year later my husband sees the charges. He never said anything before because the name he thought it was some bill for the house. I’m glad I still had the email I sent. They don’t want to refund my money. Do not give your card info. Everyone is complaining about the same issues. Why are they still in business?

Terrible service that is worthless when you can get the info for free, signed up for the $1 trail and they make it nye impossible to cancel. Even after we finally got ahold of the call center ( never seems to be open or insane hold times ) the automated cancel system doesn't work they give you a person who instead of letting us canceling the account spent over 10 minutes trying to sell us more things. Multiple time I made it VERY clear that all I wanted was to close the account and still they went on trying to sell things. We can only hope that they actually canceled the account this time.
I realized that this site is a scam. They will list houses with false contact information and ones that have already sold. Please be ware. I just emailed them asking for cancelation of my subscription. I have read below that they purposely give you a hard time when it comes to canceling so I am writing this here to track how quickly they will cancel. I will come back and report when they do but I requested a cancelation ASAP.
Scammers. Scammers. Scammers. Scammers. Scammers. Scammers. Beware of Hud houses USA org
Not impressed. This company should go into foreclosure. I signed up for their $1 subscription service two days ago, but my online experience with the website was poor, mostly because they included open-source homes not in foreclosure or under HUD. Their web server is slow, and took any details upwards of 30-45 seconds to respond. On day 2 I decided not to continue with their 21 day $1 trial subscription. Customer Service took 5-6 minutes on hold, then I had to fight with the rep to cancel. I did not want to continue this service for any amount he had to offer (kept getting lower and lower). Finally had to ask for a supervisor and threaten contact with the California Attorney General before he complied and canceled my subscription with receipt of email from them. Moments after hanging up I got a phone call from them, a woman (supervisor?) who wanted to confirm receipt of the email and that I was satisfied and no longer needed to contact the AG. Yes, I'm satisfied, but will closely watch my credit card because now I don't trust them not to push through a fraudulent transaction. Not a good experience.

They charged a fee twice, just like they did to others. The prices shown are not correct. When you try to log back in the site doesn't work. This is a scam as I suspected, but for the small fee,,oops the fee that was charged twice, I would try it...wrong. Avoid this site.
I asked them to cancel my account, and they told me that they could not find my account and it did not exist. However, after I was charged 49.99 for yet another month I messaged them again and they magically found my account. THIEVES.

I have not signed up for this company but I wanted to clear things up. I do not know what all "billing issues" have gone on BUT IT DOES STATE RIGHT THERE WHEN YOU SIGN UP THAT THE $1 IS FOR THE TRIAL PERIOD AND HOW MUCH YOU WILL BE BILLIED UNTIL YOU CANCEL. With that being said, IF THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN BILLING CORRECTLY, IT IS THE CUSTOMERS FAULT FOR NOT CANCELING THE SERVICE. From the complaints on here, from what I have seen, this company has been bending over backwards trying to make everyone *** by refunding money that does not need to be refunded because, again, IF THE CUSTOMER DOES NOT CANCEL, THE COMPANY HAS EVERY RIGHT TO BILL FOR THE MEMBERSHIP FEE. Thank you!

Why are you showing my property as a HUDHome when it has never been one, isn't now, and has been sold as in it is not on the market?
Why are you showing my property as a HUDHome when it has never been one, isn't now, and has been sold as in it is not on the market? Imagine my surprise when I saw your ad for my property while looking for another 'distressed property'! It appears you are selling property information based on lies. I believe you are defrauding your subscribers.

I was checking houses and this web said to pay $1 to get to see all their houses! Never said about $49 a month... After that day I never used their web again, I forgot about them. Till end of April when I saw a payment of $49 and also a another payment of $1. I sent an email and called them, but they said I needed to file a complaint and ""MAIL"" it to them (to maybe be considered)♀️Like what? Please REFUND my $49 dollars. I just had a baby and cant Mail anything!

Horrible
Horrible. Just horrible. It says they will cancel you quickly and easily by phone number just press 1. When I did that it told me no account was found but they charged me $49.90 for a monthly charge so I got ahold of a person and they had no problem locating my account under my phone number and proceeded to tell me they would not refund it and they were sorry that I was having a hard time understanding. Then she offered me a discount on the service I did not want and finally said they would refund $25. Why that amount I am not sure

85% of the homes listed on their site are either sold already or off the market. They lie and say they update their listing twice a week but this is a complete farse! Not only do they not update their listings but they don't help when you contact customer service either. Oh, and customer service is somewhere in Asia. Even though this is HUD homes "USA". This site is a SCAM! You will NOT find a home on this site. You will only find aggravation, loss of money, and time! The home buying process is already hard enough, these SCAMMERS make it 1000% harder!

I've talked to their customer service
I've talked to their customer service. They claim that I've created a trial subscription for $1 which was converted to full subscription since the trial wasn't cancelled. I've checked my email box and there is nothing from the hudhomesusa.org in it. They claim that the trail confirmation email has ended up in Spam box. Gmail doesn't do it, unless the email was specifically formatted to be filtered out to spam. I've checked history of my browser and there is no records of me visiting their web-site. I am not on the market for a house, so I don't have any idea how they managed to get the credit card. On top of it, the credit card they charge is not what I'd use for the trial anyway.

If I could leave a negative rating, I would
If I could leave a negative rating, I would. I had signed up thinking that I would have access to HUD properties in my area. There were a few that I was interested in and had emailed requesting more information on the properties. I did receive an email reply to one which was a boiler-plate template directing me to search their website. What REALLY did it for me, was when I did a broader search for property that included the area I currently reside it. They had a house listed for sale that no longer exists. I walk by this address multiple times per day as I walk my dog. There is NO house there. Yet, it is listed on this website as being an available property. Be careful. This website is a scam. You'll pay exorbitant fees for the "privilege" of using their website to give you exclusive access to their properties, but they won't tell you that those properties don't exist. These people are no better than the Nigerian Prince or Microsoft IT scammers.

Was charged 49.90 on my cash app card for hud home services that was not authorized
I paid a dollar last month to look at some hood homes. In this month without me knowing I was charged forty nine dollars And ninety cents for or the use of Is the app which I had only looked at Once or twice. So I am Asking that the money be returned to my Cash app account. Immediately want my money to be returned to my cash app account. I did not give permission for this amount of money to be taken from my account which is a fraudulent payment. And am going to give hud homes a bad review on any type of review center. I can put a review on hud homes if my money isn't returned immediately. I did not authorize this payment which makes it a fraudulent payment. And if my money is not returned I will seek law enforcement to help me get my money back.
Claimed loss: 49.90 was taken off my cash app card without my permission. Which makes this a fraudulent payment.
Desired outcome: I want 49.90 immediately put back on my cash app card

Fraudulent charges on my credit card
Found an ad for 1$ … I could look at repossessed homes and foreclosures. Very stupidly I laid the dollar and looked. The homes I saw were dirty , broken down, filthy, half demo-ed. I knew it was a scam, but what I didn’t know is that this place intended to slam my card monthly. First month I see the charges and I was confused, I call up and you can...

Finally, when I spoke with somebody and after arguing 2 different people on the phone, they cancelled it. I did not use the service, but they charged me for 9 months. They should remove the word USA and do this kind of...

Unnecessary charges
I was just browsing through bank statements and realized one of my “anticipated payments” is for $49.90 from hudhomes.org… First off I don’t remember ever signing up to look at the homes (as in put in my card info) and I have no clue when the last time I’ve even been on the site… so you’re telling me I’ve been getting charged $50 a month for god knows how long. I will definitely look into it further. I really would like to cancel whatever membership that costs $50 a month to look at homes? $50? I know I wouldn’t sign up for something like that. Please fix this!
Desired outcome: I would like the charges to be stopped immediately!!! I will look into seeing how long I have been paying WHOEVER $50 a month and would seek reimbursement. Thanks in advance!
On 6/2/22 I signed up for a $1 one month trial with this website
On 6/2/22 I signed up for a $1 one month trial with this website. I did not like the site, so on the same day I called to cancel and avoid future charges. In order to cancel you need to call them. I called 3 times and was hung up on twice by customer service representatives evading my cancellation. The third person I spoke with "***" would not give me his full name and he forced me to stay on the phone for 10 minutes listening to him try to sell me services before he would let me cancel. He said I should receive an email confirming my cancellation but I have not received one. I believe this company will be fraudulently billing me monthly. I am posting today because I know they will deny I made a cancellation call, and I want to make record of it.

A few years ago I was looking to purchase a home. I tried to sign up for Hud Homes. I never gained access to the cite and the site would ask from my debit/credit card but when I put in the information and try to join the page would take me back to the home screen and I assumed things didn't go thru. I most of my bills come out auto pay so I didn't see anything alarming coming out. I had a dispute where I had to go thru my checking account and found out HUD homes USA has been taking $50 out of my account every month. I have never gained access to this site. I would like my money back. I believe signed up in 2018. I have the online records for the past two years. I can retrieve more if necessary.
On June 15th, 2022. Hud home USA charged my account $45.90. I have no reciltion of contacting the company. I just want my money back and this cancelled.
I signed up for the $1 30 day trial with the knowledge that I had to cancel my membership before the end of the trial period
I signed up for the $1 30 day trial with the knowledge that I had to cancel my membership before the end of the trial period. I used the site once or twice and within the first week, at which time I followed the instructions in the trial agreement and requested to be removed from the membership. But after the 30 days passed I was still being charged for the monthly membership fee. I have already taken precautions to keep them from being able to receive any further payments by insuring the card that is on file with them never has enough on it to be charged by them. As long as I don't have money on the card when the annual payment is due there's no problem. But with me being about to soon be using that card for my up in coming business I would truly like to not have to worry about that.

I want the company to refund the *** twice charged to my account.
I canceled my membership with hud homes USA after the trial period which ended on 12. I called and spoke to customers service rep. Checking my account and notice they are still taking payments which is owing me $250.00. Looking like a scam. They only allow you to call to cancel. But you can apply online.

I signed up for the 30 day trial and my account was charged twice on the same day for said trial
I signed up for the 30 day trial and my account was charged twice on the same day for said trial. I tried to cancel and it said to call. I called and nothing. No answer, just said and listened to the lovely elevator music because the apparently couldn't find me by my phone number. While reading the "rules" of their site, it said that I am charged the exact hour and exactly 30 days from when I signed up...well that didn't happen...I was charged 3 days after the fact. I was also charged another $1.00. Not sure why but whatever. At this point, I want to be responded to that my account is cancelled because they say their number is 24 hours and yet no one is there to answer. After reading multiple complaints on the Complaintsboard.com website, this site should not even exist any more and it's shame that it can scam people out of their money.

Signed up, discovered scam by realtors, tried to cancel, still billed after card cancellation and fraud claim
I signed up for a service to help me find homes, but local realtors informed me it was a scam with fake listings. I contacted the company immediately to cancel my subscription and received a confirmation of cancellation. However, a month later, I was still billed. When I called the company, they offered a partial refund and required a mail-in form for the rest. I consider this theft and have filed a claim with my bank and canceled the card used for registration.

I had a free trial with HUD homes USA. Org and canceled that before it was going to cost me any other money. And when I woke up today I have a transaction in progress for $49.50 and when I called the number it says you can call to get ahold of them to verify that I have canceled and to make sure that the charge is stopped or refunded? It tells me that it does not recognize my phone number as having an account and hangs up.
The business charges your credit card $1 to check on the foreclosed homes in your area, says a 1-time charge. Without knowing, using deceptive practices, they sign you up for a monthly subscription charge of $49 which is charged to your credit card. The website is very unclear, I never signed up for monthly charges, they use deception and deceit in their practices.
It's a crap website. No pictures of homes. I called them to cancel within 5 days. They kept charging my credit card. They are liars and cheaters. I wanted all my fees returned. They won't. It's bull. They're frauds.
My husband and I own a property in North Carolina, ZIP Code XXXXX
My husband and I own a property in North Carolina, ZIP Code XXXXX. We visited a website to explore mobile homes for purchase in our vicinity. Entering our ZIP Code on their site, we were astonished to find a photo of our home on page 4. I immediately contacted their customer service for clarification and after a lengthy wait, they promised to investigate and issue a case number. Despite leaving my contact details, I'm skeptical about receiving assistance. Our property has never been subjected to tax or debt liens, and the source of their information was not disclosed, preventing me from rectifying any errors. The legitimacy of the situation is unclear, but urgent action is needed to resolve it. Our credit rating is at stake, and we cannot risk potential buyers mistakenly believing our home is available, as it is not and will never be on the market. Such a listing could damage our credit if searches are conducted by others.

Unauthorized charges has been charged since 10/24 til 9/20. Im not even indian so I have no need for hudhomes. This business always popped up when I was purchasing coins online. I never gave them permission to withdraw money from my account. On 10/24 they withdrew *** from my account. The following month on 11/23 they charged *** and then on 11/25 they charged *** They've charged the same amount each month for the past 10 months now. I can't believe I didn't catch this any sooner. I only use my credit card for gas so I never noticed. I've read the other complaints and they respond that the customer has enrolled in the 7-day trial, but I never enrolled. I've lived in the same house for 7 years and don't plan on moving any time soon. I'm not even indian so have no need for hudhomes. I signed up for free trial for this website With intention to cancel the trial before it ends in order to not get charged for their membership fee. I put it on my canlender and call their number on the website 3 days before the trial ends to cancel As they don't provide a simple button to click and cancel trial like legit businesses does. I call the number and it was an automated system telling me to put my number in to cancel. Than it said they do not have my number on file. So I attempted to talk to a person but no body answered. So I emailed them using the email address on the website requesting cancelation. Few days later, they still charged me $49.50 membership fee, after avoding my request of cancellation in many ways. Now i know this company is a scam. All the info this website has is on zillow and auction.com for free. Large part of listings in this websites is outdated, making it looks like they have lots of listing.

It was a month membership for $1, to review HUD Homes. They charged me twice for no apparent reason and said they don't refund the $1 no matter if I was mistakenly charged twice or not. Then, of course I fell for their membership trick and forgot all about the website over a course of a month. I was then charged a monthly membership of $49.95 for 3 months when I noticed they charged my card eventhough I never used the website at all during that course of time. When I called them they informed me that they would not provide my money back for being charged twice intially and also they charged me for a fourth time of $49.95, 4 days before my call for a refund. They then informed me that they would provide me 3 months of charges of $49.95 but not the fourth one that just occurred 4 days ago for $49.95. I informed them to just simply check my usage or activity within my account and they will quickly see I never used the account, I simply did not know my membership was active.

Date of initial transaction: 8/14 $1, and then 9/14 $1 9/15 $49.90 I contacted to cancel during trial period! And then attempted to contact to resolve this the first month of September and they told me they already cancelled it. I have not but once, during the trial period, utilized this site! I was going through previous months bank statement and collecting information for tax purposes and they have and are STILL charging me! Ever since! It's like they charge me a $1 trial fee and then a monthly fee the next day. How are they still a business, scamming people like this? That is more than $250 altogether when added up. Attached is the first charge from trial and then first charge in September(after I had spoken to someone earlier and then my most recent statement.) I don't have the statement from January but can acquire it if need be, I confirmed it was taken out by a rep at bank, though. This is horrible, and looks like I am not the only one dealing with this!

3-6-2022 HUD HOMES USA charged 1 dollar to me to look at their site
3-6-2022 HUD HOMES USA charged 1 dollar to me to look at their site. I then cancelled. An hour later and went about my business of life. On 3-7-2022 $150.00 was pulled from my account fraudulently by HUD HOME USA. I saw it on my daily online bank report. So I called hudhomesusa and they refused to give me my money. They offered coupons. It took me an hour to find them on the Complaintsboard.com site so I could report them to you. And when I read your site I noticed there are so many people that have reported this problem just like me and I don't understand why you're not doing anything about it?! Why are they even accredited? They are a fraud company. They take advantage of people left and right. They're not there to help you find a HUD home there there to take advantage of people who don't have a lot of money. And charge exuberant prices that are not listed and not reported on their site before some innocent sucker like me is charged these prices. Do something! Remove them or bring their accredited down at least two a big fat F!

This business has been deducting $49.90 from my account since last year when I signed up for a $1 new member fee on 7/6 and then cancelled a few days later. I have attempted cancellation via phone call multiple times since, each time being told that there is no record of my contacting the company. I cancelled the debit card attached to the account and they have somehow managed to continue charging me. I spoke with my bank who then placed my account t on fraud protection so I am forever having to call and approve my own account use all the while hudhomeausa has continued to withdraw from my account. I have spoken with a representative of this company again today, who erroneously stated that I have never contacted their company. I am at the point of considering closing my bank account to get them to stop withdrawing funds. This should certainly be illegal practice as it is absolutely inethical and dishonest. Please contact this company to ensure they no longer charge me and consider removing any accreditation they have as they are clearly fraudulent. Thank you.

I was holding forever but the recording said it is easier and quicker to get through via their website and email so I emailed and asked that they explain the charges and if it is a subscription to cancel it because i have no access to any of this or know what it is. I never received any confirmation of any sorts to believe i have an account with them for whatever it is. Never received an answer via email, checked spam even and then decided to call credit card company and dispute the 2 charges. Today I noticed again there is a charge for July for the same *** so I attempted to contact hudhomes again but no luck via phone and I sent another request via their "contact us" page as i did last time but when you do it, it just says they will respond within 1 business day and I never get a copy of the submission via email or hear back from them.

This company have been charging my account since may / 2020 for $49.90
This company have been charging my account since may / 2020 for $49.90. I only realized because my bank made me aware of an overdraft charge. I contacted them and they claim I signed up. After looking for emails and reviews of this identity I realize they sent one email in may 28 with my email as a username and my phone number as a password, they have my info and card number but I didn't provide it or sign up for it. I have never accessed this website to look for properties, I'm not looking to buy so I know I didn't signed up for it. Reviews shows that people that complained have been refunded with $149.99. Meaning they keep the rest of the money charged. In my case they got $655.65 , I can only imagine how much money they are making even with the refunds after complaints. I also saw many complaints made to you about this online company and my question is: what are you doing about it? How did they get my information? How come they refunded $149.99 to the people that have complained?why? On my case they tried many charges of $1.00 and also another one for $2.95 , then got comfortable and started charging $49.90. They owe me $505.66. I called with my bank , I'm waiting for the refund to dispute these charges and close my card, they even had the nerve to tell me my payment was declined this month, I emailed my bank to stop these charges and I went in person to discuss it. I will follow up on this and I'm seeking justice and money back. I will dispute it and email them providing this conversation with your reply and seeking legal advice.

I was in the process of moving and decided to buy a foreclosed property and rehab to sell eventually
I was in the process of moving and decided to buy a foreclosed property and rehab to sell eventually. Found HudHomesUSA while browsing the web and decided to give them a try. One dollar trial period for 30 days with full membership fee to be charged after the 30 days. Found a property that I was interested in on their website, called my friend, *** of Coldwell Banker Carroll Realty and asked him about the listing and he told me that there was no listing for that property, and that there was very little foreclosed homes listed in Panama City and that I was wasting my money. Called HudHomes on the 6th of June, told them that I would like to cancel my membership and was offered all kinds of discounts and whatnot to continue the membership. Finally, I got them to agree to cancel the membership and I thought that was the end of this. To my surprise, checking my credit card statement, not only did they not cancel the membership, but they charged me $49.90 on the 6th of June and then charged me $1.00 on the 18th of June for the trial membership. First off, they did the opposite of what their website states, second, how are you going to charge me full membership price before the 30days are up in either instance, whether I enrolled on the 6th or the 18th. Contacted the company once more, they have no record of my cancellation. Explained that I cancelled the membership and demanded a refund and they refused. Demanded that they cancel the membership and not to charge my card anymore and once again, the customer service rep offered me every discount in the world to continue the membership to the point that I was talking over the guy to get him to understand that I didn't want the service. Hopefully the membership is canceled as per the email I received from them. Have checked my emails, spam trash, etc. Cannot find an email from them acknowledging my initial enrollment to HudHomes or an email acknowledging the canceling of the enrollment.

Hudhomesusa.org unknowing took 50.90 out of my checking account since July and provided no service to me
Hudhomesusa.org unknowing took 50.90 out of my checking account since July and provided no service to me. In June I was trying to view listings for Hud homes in my area. An internet search brought me to their site in which they stated that I could view the listings if I pay 1.00. I signed up and then completely forgot about them until December when my account was overwithdrawn for reasons unknown. My bank alerted me of the charge and I was able to receive a refund for 49.90 from hudhomesusa. At the time, I was unaware of any previous charges. On Jan 21st I was printing my bank statements and began to see other charges from hudhomesusa. I thought they started in April because I didn't see one for May. I had missed it in my initial overview of the statement. I called them and I was treated very poorly by a women who just kept assuring me that what they are doing is legal and that I "knew what I was signing up for". I don't know anyone who would willingly give 49.90 + 1.00 a month to a company that provided no service to them. The service they claim to provide is not even of a value of 50.00 as I have seen many testimonies stating that their listings are either non-existent or available to view for free on legitimate sites elsewhere. After my interaction with a woman named Denise she did did refund me 2 more payments, but at the time of this interaction I was under the impression that the total amount that they took from me was 350.00. She knew that it was much more than that and didn't offer that information at the time. I continued to print my statements for the year and started to see many other charges. They went back to July. Aside from the fact that I don't regualry check my bank statements (I will be now), I believe that the only reason this was not brought to my attention sooner was because I had recieved money for the sale of a vehicle and a stimulus check. I also looked through my emails and found that they had sent quite a few emails notifying me of their great listings until the point that I had signed up, after which, they had sent one and nothing else. This company relies on people forgetting about signing up for something that only cost 1.00 so that they can get their account information and begin deducting their charges. If they were providing an actual service they would be regularly contacting their clients with notifications about new listings. Nowhere in the initial interaction with them, do they mention anything other than paying a dollar to view their listings. This is very unethical. I am not the only person that has fallen prey to this company. They need to be stopped so that others don't fall prey to these fraudulent practices. Just because you put something in fine print doesn't mean that you should be allowed to operate a company of this nature. A consumer should only willingly pay for a service that was provided to them. There was no service provided and I did not willingly pay these charges. Their business tactics are very dishonest. I will be writing a letter to the Attorney General as well and would like a full refund.
