I was a member in 2023 and was unable to complete my CoolSculpting (CS) because the technician noticed (October 2023) a tiny lump at my belly button when I was scheduled for CS on my abdomen. She thought it may be a hernia and if it was then I would need a letter from my doctor indicating it was safe for me to have the procedure.
It took me 4 months to get an appointment with my doctor and then another month to get the ultrasound which did indicate a tiny fatty hernia. My Doctor provided a note indicating it was medically safe for me to have CoolSculpting. My this time it was 2024 and I was not going to renew my membership but Ideal Image would allow me to complete my remaining cycles of CoolSculpting. When I went to the office in South Attleboro MA, I was then told that the policy had changed and now I was not eligible to have CS on my abdomen! So I did one cycle on my upper arms but still have an $800.00 credit. I have no need of fat removal anywhere else on my body and the last session left my horribly bruised. I requested to use my credit for some other treatment but I was denied. I
