I bought a nina coffee table black metal and glass modern rectangle coffee table from your store in Arcadia on Friday and I was I told that delivery would be today since they're fully booked on the weekend. I called the store today wanting to know what time delivery will be and I was told that they would call me back but they didn't so I called them twice asking about the same questions but still have not received a response regarding delivery. The service I got is totally unacceptable what kind of customer service is this?

I have been trying to contact you regarding the a settlement on my owing account. please I have to settle this account so I can move on with my life. I have been in contact with the Johannesburg head office trying to make some arrangement, it is really not easy to get of a debt once you enter, or is it because the staff members do not care so much about their jobs or they don't care if the company losses or not from people who owe them, maybe next time Russell's hire people who care about the business and who will value the client. please please assist me its not funny any more.
service and no refund
I have been asking on a refund of mine from russels edenvale for over a week and a half now and I have not received great service as even point of sale was all a lie from themba the consultant. Please could I get this resolved asap.
I was told and reassured my goods will be delived on the 10th october from the 08th october and this had not happened.
Manager called me and ever since then noone takes my emails seriously or let alone respond to them from a week and a half ago.
I am now getting frustrated.

my name is Gabayo Sello William Tsele I bought a sound system in Russell furniture last year, now my sound is not working any more I took it back to the shop, they advise me to choose any product in the shop I done it that, from august till now I do have nothing I choose the product but I still have not received the product, the worse thing is I pay cash for my sound, please I want the product or my money back.

I Applied for credit at Russell Vosloorus branch on 29 September 2017, before going to the branch I had done the online application. I asked to add DSTV on to my account and it wasn't added I was then told that it would not be possible to add it as the application has already been sent to the head office so I will have to purchase cash. I waited for my furniture to be delivered but on 28 Sept. 2017 I got a call and I was told the reason why I have not received the items is because I have to pay cash for my TV licence, I went to the shop the following day and asked that they remove the Ellis plugs as I do not need them because I already have, but then I was told it will not be possible, so I asked that we cancel and start afresh and they said it will also not be possible as it will reflect as fraud at the head office. Then I paid for the TV licence and waited for my order.
Today (02 Oct 2017) I got a call and I was told that my application has been started afresh because I have paid the TV licence cash when it was already on credit I asked that they remove the plugs and they said they will remove them and get back to me. So now my question is: how is it now possible to re-do the whole process? We keep going back and forth, do these people know what they are doing? Because now instead of my furniture being delivered today I have been told it will be delivered on Thursday (05 Oct 2017).

Last year September 24 I put a layby on couches at Russells Pietermaritzburg - church street (former Price n Pride), I was paying for the couches for months.in July I received a text saying my layby has expired and I must visit my nearest Russell's store to renew my account and check out the new range. During this time I was in the middle of moving, relocating from KZN to Mpumalanga so I went to the Russell's store in Mpumalanga to query this. I was told that it must be a mistake because it's been less than 12 months and that I would be assisted. I was told that they cannot see or trace either the amount I had paid or the couches on the system. I was told that it's a technical error and that a call would be logged and the amount would appear on the system. It's been two and a half months later and this issue hasn't been sorted. I called the Pietermaritzburg branch where I did my first purchase, I was told to drive from Mpumalanga to Pietermaritzburg to sort it out. This is really frustrating as I have paid money and I haven't received either my money or the product... not even assistance. For two and a half months I'm running up and down wasting time, airtime and petrol to get this sorted without any breakthrough. I would really like to be reimbursed my money and given an explanation for this.

Good day. My mother, Leonora Sauls bought a fridge from you're store in Uitenhage and it broke under warranty. Several attempts to fix was done. The fridge is broken for about 5 months now, which means she does not have a fridge. Now how would you feel if you're mother is sad because a guy named Ivan from you're store is not willing to help her for 3-5 months or so, where she is without a fridge. How would you feel after all this. Anyway, you're store is in breach of contract by not fixing or replacing the fridge as per consumer credit act. If she does not receive a new fridge by 16h00 tomorrow then I will call my lawyer to seek a interdict to force you to act on youre contract and the legislation. I further want this Ivan chap to be charged diciplinary for failing to do his work properly. I dont care what story he comes up with. Its not the clients fault or problem if you have issues. I hope for you're sake she gets the fridge by tomorrow.

I cancelled the lay bye agreement on the 4/07/2017 and I was told they will pay my money in 3 to 4 days. I waited for two weeks and when I went to the shop I was told by the manager that he lost my documents. I then phoned head office to report the matter but till today I have not been given any clarity regarding my refund. The lay bye number is : [protected] I called the lay bye division on the 11th of August 2017 and I was given another reference number [protected] of which I was told the matter will be escalated and will be getting my refund within seven working days. This is way too long its more than enough.
Resolution I want my money back please.
bedroom suite
I am moroaswi lebogang stephinah, (ID: [protected]-86; CELL: [protected]) bought the toledo bedroom suite at the russels alberton branch in April this year. To my surprise when I went to collect the bedroom suite at the Polokwane warehouse it was only planks. On asking why it was not assembled they told me I did not pay the assembling fee of which I was not told about at the alberton branch. I then went to pay that fee early June this year and was told they will end out people to go assemble it at my place within a week's time. Surprisingly, no one was sent. I therefore called them several times each time being told we will log the call and even today I'm still waiting.

I bought microwave on 31 may 2017 at Graskop russells on the second month microwave started to have problem I took it to the shop they told me they fixed it and I took it and on 14 august 2017 I took it back to shop because of the same problem which means I reported same problem within 3 months of purchase. poor service
Laybyed a 2 piece napoli cupboard it was delivered I had to go to the store inform them the cupboard is at my house. Promised to send the guy to assembly it between Friday and Monday. On Monday there was nothing went back to the store to ask they told me that the call was logged that morning but can't say when will he come. The guy only came following week Thursday after I had to go to the store almost everyday to ask what is going on. On arrival the guy noticed that one piece is cracked he informed the head office according to him and left he just said it will be replaced but don't know when I should go to the store and ask. I called Russell's Atlantis they couldn't give me an answer it's been two weeks waiting I don't know 2017.07.20 I called the store again they can't give me answers and the manager is not there how inconvenienced is that im so disappointed in Russells I can't even move into my house now.

Hi, my husband purchased a kensington lounge suite (ball fibre) however we had endless issues with the lounge suit we were advised by the regional manager to send the lounge set back and collect my deposit from the store. I did just that, however last year a collection company visited my home claiming that my husband should pay back the money that he owes towards the lounge suite... tell me how do I pay for something I do not have... I am really frustrated at this as I am battling to make ends meet and my husband is struggling to pay for something we don't have... can you please advise me what is the story.

I bought a Sealy bed on lay - by and here am so excited that I will be getting my bed only to get a call to say I have to pay R250.00 handling fees to transport the bed from South Gate warehouse that they warehouse so to think and I if I can not do so then I have to go get it myself from the warehouse how ridiculous is this what happened to getting the product that you buy from the store that s five mins from my house, help me out guys I think am losing my mind or maybe get my5000 back and go to a store that can give me a better service

I was later told by MBD to pay my monthly installments to MCS-Maravedi Credit Solutions.in July 2014 I requested an settlement amount from MCS and was given an amount of R6048, 98 as settlement which I paid on 30 July 2014.
According to the Credit Bureau I am being listed by DMC99 for a paid - up account. I Requested a paid-up letter from your office, but I was referred to DMC99. I send them a request on 10 April 2017 via email to remove my name from the listing and provided the necessary documentation. Can you pleased assist me with a paid-up letter. lenovo 7 " tablet replacement unethical behaviour
I purchased 2 Lenovo 7" Tablet's from Joshua Doore in December of 2015 as Christmas gifts.in April 2016 I returned the one tablet as it died and would not come on again. Since April 2016 till now I have been struggling to get the tablet back or a replacement for the tablet. The Manager I returned the Tablet to is no longer working for Joshua Doore/Russels. The Branch I returned to has also closed down and I was referred to Russels. I went to Russels but they want proof that I returned the tablet even though the one lady that knows I returned the tablet is now working for Russels and confirms my story. They have also been debiting my account and are still debiting my account monthly for both tablets even though I have only the one tablet to show for it.
The Joshua Doore and Russels in question are both Krugersdorp branches.
I still haven't received a refund after 3 years
I have been waiting for a refund that I was promised in November 2015. Ever since I was asked to send my bank details all my attempts to contact the company have been ignored. I have given up on getting any fair treatment from Russells, all I simply want now is my money back which is my right yet I have been dodged for months now! After the fraud I experienced at the hands of your employees I would think the least you would do as a company is return my money!
