Amazing app all parents MUST have!
I love this app! Like most parents I sometimes feel overwhelmed with so much information on child development but this app has a well researched method that I trust. The videos are very easy to follow and fun! Its even better than going to a stimulation class because you can adapt it to your own schedule and do the activities whenever and wherever you want. Plus you also get personal feedback on how your baby is doing! Im so happy with the app and seeing great results in my kids! I highly recommend it knowing that brain development is crutial during the first years! Kinedu has all the answers to your questions on your childs development so stop researching and get the app!
DO NOT BUY THIS APP
Do not buy this app! All of the activities it’s telling me to do with my son are things we already do and have mastered so it’s no use to me. I decided to try the paid version thinking it would give me more that maybe we haven’t done or mastered...it didn’t. And not it WILL NOT let me cancel my subscription or account! It keeps telling me to set up a mail account to delete or get assistance with the app but there’s no way to set up a mail account and my email is already on the account! They’re just trying to lock you in and take you’re money. My only option now is to cancel my card attached to my apple account so they can’t continue to take money from me! Do not buy this app!
Premium Not Working
I signed up for the premium plan when I first downloaded the app. It’s listed in my subscriptions and when I click on the 3 month option, it says I’m already subscribed. However, none of the premium features are working and it requires me to get the subscription. I have force closed the app, deleted and redownloaded, and clicked the restore purchases a bunch of times, but nothing is giving me the access back. I was really enjoying everything that there was to offer, but now I’m paying and I can’t access anything!
Update
After contacting customer service, they fixed my issue and have restore my purchase! Loving all of the activity suggestions and being able to track the milestones!
Serious Bug - makes app inaccessible
So I’ve loved the app and find it super helpful in finding activities to do with my 4 month old. However the most recent time I opened the app - I received a screen stating I needed to update, and to click the button to “update now”. I do so - and am redirected to the App Store, where my only option is to “open”. I do so and I’m redirected back to the Kinedu app - and the same screen asking me to update. From what I can tell poking around, I can’t get off this update screen and I can’t find anywhere to update in the App Store. I’m stuck in this loop. Which is disappointing bc I can’t even get to app support, which has led me to leaving this review. Serious bug & problem - please fix.
Highly disappointed! Rip off to get parents to pay
So I decided to get this app after seeing an ad for it. I downloaded it and after taking the 15min survey about my DD's development the first game they gave me free was one in which I dangle a toy in front of her while in her crib to encourage her to stand and grab the toy. When I took the survey i CLEARLY indicated that my baby has already taken her first steps without assistance. She is beyond this development stage. If this was the first free game why would I want to pay for a subscription for them to make money off me for areas in my daughters life that she has already surpassed? Also after seeing the game offered the next day, I've come to the conclusion that this isn't work 89.99. Parents can do their own free research to develop their children.
Bad interface
I haven’t started using the app yet, but I have a lot of problems already . When I opened the app right after I turned it on . It says the yearly member is 70 USD. I did not want to pay without knowing what is the app about . Then I sipped it. Afterwards , I decide to give it a trial and want to go back to the yearly 70USD. Then , I couldn’t find it anymore . Everywhere I presses, it is 90USD per year . Then, I think maybe I should just pay for the lifetime membership. I checked the 150 USD and they still charge me the 90USD yearly! What is going on ? I have already sent an email . Hopefully they can have a better app for purchasing . I am already very unhappy with my billing experience . The app’d better works after all these troubles I need to go through with a 5-days old new born at home
Disappointing app
This application's UI is simply horrible.
The transitions are lagging at best and I can't make the app do nothing.
After correctly providing information about my baby the app seats showing me nothing at all; I can navigate through the app and it's menu options but is not giving me any "tasks" for the baby.
I can't stress enough how the "configuring" UI was a terrible experience, no way of scrolling up to see how many more categories were pending, horrible views thrown at my face every now and then to further configure some behavior I just swiped, the "modal views" animate like they are being thrown at your face and the main title reloads every time you swipe an option in the "modal" selection view.
Interesting idea of an app; HORRIBLE execution.

Waste of time!
I downloaded this app and it doesn’t even work. Upon opening the app for the first time I was prompted to make an account or sign in through Apple, etc. I decided to make an account and I entered my email address and created a password. On the next screen, I had to enter information such as my name and that I’m a mom. When I click the continue button nothing happens. I closed the app, restarted my phone and tried again. This time it asked me to set up a profile for my baby so I entered the information but when I click continue nothing happens. It’s like the continue buttons are unresponsive. This app is a waste of time! I couldn’t even get past the account creation in order to use the app. I never write reviews but this app frustrated me because I didn’t even get the opportunity to use it. I’m going to delete the app now.
Low usability and extremely poor customer service
I’ve had too many issues with this app (and the people behind it) to recommend it. Let me just say, if you download it and then get invited to a program that costs 270/month, just say no. Who pays that much for access to content you could just as easily Google? Honestly, I feel duped by them. They basically charged me to work as part of their focus group (should’ve been the other way around). The app is at best a work in progress. Great in theory but it just does not deliver. The videos are incredibly tedious and any content specific to your child is inconsistent and confusing. Again, just google it. Absolutely do NOT spend any money on this app. They’re very communicative when you’re paying, then totally unprofessional and MIA when they can no longer benefit from you (which is consistent with some other reviews I’ve now seen).
Not worth the money
A friend of mine recommended this app. As a first time mom I thought that it would be helpful. I found it to be ok but not great. I understand that a lot of effort was put into creating these research based videos. However, I think $69.99 is very steep. I am especially upset that I was unable to unsubscribe via iTunes before the seven days were up (the option was literally not available). AND it took the money from my account early. When I tried to trouble shoot the problem, the only solution provided was to request a refund once it was billed. Now that it’s billed, I can not get a refund. Not only that, when I did eventually get to unsubscribe, I saw options for cheaper subscriptions! I don’t understand why those were not offered up front. The app isn’t terrible, but the content does not justify the price, that’s why I’m giving it a low rating.
Great App
As an K-12 educator, I felt confident I could come up with loads of stuff to help with the development of my child before Kindergarten. I was wrong and clueless on how to interact with my baby. I found this app and was skeptical at first, but it is filled with wonderful activities that encourage the development of you child. It includes many milestones I would have never thought to look for. Also, these activities are a great way to break up the day when you are at home all day with your children. They are very easy and tailored to where your child is at. The customer service was incredible when I was having technical difficulties. Plus, they are taking ideas we have as parents and slowly updating the features to accommodate our wants/needs/ideas. The only reason they aren't receiving a 5 from me yet is because they still have a few bugs to work out.
Be careful with developmental markers
I had a few people come to me( FYI I work in counseling and have a research behavioral and developmental psychology background) some of the way the information is presented in terms of developmental markers makes it appear as if a child is behind when they were developing just fine. The process of showing a level of advancement was really alarming and tended to make parents worry for no reason. The developmental games component is nice and I used it with my own son for a bit, but it wasn’t worth the cost for me. I can totally see how the parents I talked to were worried based on the bar graphic and checks and balances. It seams like their algorithm doesn’t allow for a range. Children reach developmental milestones in a range of months. In my opinion this was too restrictive and caused concern for no reason. With all the concerns due to the increase in Austin spectrum diagnosis I feel like this just created more fear for parents. Perhaps it’s something the developers could look into.
CONPLETE Waste of Money. Costumer Service is Nonexistent
I’m a first time mom and was checking out different apps to find something that could help me teach my son what he needs to know. I tried the free trial, only to be billed a day earlier than the trial ended (I had already decided that I wasn’t going to buy the subscription with Kinedu and planned to cancel the night before the trial ended). However I was billed $60+ for the entire year prematurely. I emailed Kinedu telling them what happened and that I wanted a refund and cancellation of my subscription. They didn’t respond to my email. I cancelled my subscription from my end, hoping to get the refund soon. It has now been almost a month and I have now reached out to the customer support team MULTIPLE times to get a refund or to AT LEAST reinstate my subscription so that I can actually use the YEARLY subscription that I was charged for! No response. I would have called Kinedu immediately, however apparently the only form of contact is through email.

Great app so far
I got this app to help me with ideas for activities to do with my baby (first time mom here lol). I at first had the free version which was ok, but I got a deal to get a years worth of premium for 39.99 which is way better than the 89.99? I think it was, which I wasn’t quite willing to pay. For 39.99 for the year, I would say the app is definitely worth it. There are so many activities over multiple areas such as physical, cognitive, emotional, etc. which I think is really cool. Each activity has a video as well which explains which part of your baby’s brain you are working on! I love that. There are also informative articles to read for each day. They have you answer a questionnaire about the milestones your baby is at or has completed, in order to give you a few new activities for each day they are tailored to where your baby is at. They also have a progress area where you can update the different milestones your baby has completed. You can save certain activities as your favorite. I’ve only had it for a couple days, but I’m already really excited about how this will help my growing girl! Thanks Kinedu!
Confusing app, constant upsell, spammy emails
This app is terrible! I entered my baby’s age and tried to explore the daily developmental activities, but the UI was too confusing to get very far. There were about 20 different things to click on in the layout, and the first half had nothing to do with the activities I should do with my baby. They were trying to get me to take classes, participate in Q&A, and tell me the importance of breastfeeding. When I finally found the developmental activities, they were so simple I had to laugh. Have your baby look at their surroundings, really? I was looking for creative activities I wouldn’t think of on my own as a first time mom. Every time I clicked on something or tried to return to the main menu, the app would try to upsell me to pay for a subscription. I also got THREE emails from Kinedu within two hours of downloading the app, which was overboard and intrusive. Lastly, I tried to look up others’ experiences with Kinedu on Reddit and noticed the co-founder kept commenting on every thread telling people why this app is so wonderful. Why don’t you let actual users discuss their experience? I deleted this app already and will keep looking.

Unable to Cancel
I’m not sure if it’s a glitch in the App Store or within the app but I canceled the subscription via my phone settings (iPhone) and was advised it was canceled and I could continue to use until the last day of the trial and it would automatically not renew. Woke up today to see $70 taken from my account for the yearly subscription for this app. So there is my gas and lunch money. I’ve never had this issue with any other app. Anytime I have a trial I always go in to cancel as soon as I download. Very disappointed

App stopped working
Initially I liked the app when I first downloaded a few months ago. However it gradually began to stop working for me. It started with my daily plan never displaying. If I wanted to access an activity I had to go to over plan page and choose from there. Defeats the purpose of have a plan provided based of my child’s development. Now the app will not load at all. When I open the app it stays on the “Loading” page. So now I can’t even use it. On top of this, I paid for the annual subscription. Waste of money!

Paid for premium but app doesn’t recognize
I paid basically $40 for premium subscription for a year but the app tells me I only have 3 more free activities unless I pay for premium. I’ve checked my credit card statement and I’ve already been charged for it.
Also when we’re doing activities which involve milestones my baby has already achieved, the only way to complete the activity is to hit the small “Not yet” link at the bottom even though that’s misleading because my baby has already achieved those milestones.
The app needs work and I feel like I’ve been scammed.

Constant updates
Hi - I appreciate the need to improve the app. However, it seems to be constant. Every time that I receive a push notification with an article or video that looks interesting to me and I click on it, the app opens and says that I need to update. Then, when I update and open the app, I’m asked to update my child’s progress, etc and have to search for the information I was interested in in the first place. I can’t remember the last time I was simply able to click on a notification and have it open in the app. It’s so frustrating!

Repetitive and bad billing
I wanted to love this app. First time mom, desperate for guidance, figured it was worth the money. I was wrong. The first month was okay but I quickly realized the activities were the EXACT SAME 2 or 3 activities just with a different narrative. I followed the instructions to stop the auto billing and canceled my account. I got busy with life/returning to work and forgot to check the account. Three months later, I learned Kinedu had just ignored my cancelation directions and had continued to bill me $10/mo. Poor form, Kinedu team.

bad promotion
i downloaded this app so my baby of 10 months would have extra learning methods and agreed to a 3.99 promotion (because i don't have $50 a month subscription) and then i learn that even though i choose 3.99 they set me up to the anual 39.99
the games aren't such a newly invented thing you can usually do every activity and 100% of kids do this things at home on there own they so call innovation and sale you the idea of a really learning experience and for $44 they only give you the usual stuff you do with your kid at your home normally.

No way I will pay
I think this app has great potential to help with ideas and goals while taking care of little ones. Always teaching them something is very important for their development. However I will not pay a monthly fee when I'm already drowning in hospital bills and never ending diaper costs. The saying "It takes a village" is so true. When did we become so greedy that we would take away from helping the development of a child to lining our pockets with money. It's sad really... I will stick to Pinterest since they offer "FREE" ideas. Thanks but no thanks

! BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY !
Can't believe I paid a year for this, biggest scam ever. The app itself is whack, doesn't load correctly, doesn't want to load the right activities. These activities can be found easily through YouTube or the web by a simple search. Thought I'd be paying for something at least a little exclusive. The categories make it seem nice until you click on one, then you see listed had nothing too do with that activity your trying to work on. Just don't do it, super disappointed. I feel for it, save yourself the money. Just do some simple research and you'll find some videos FREE elsewhere.

Does not suggest age appropriate activities
The activity suggestions are fantastic but the programmers cannot seem to suggest age appropriate activities. When my baby was 3 months old, most of the daily videos suggested were for 4-6 month old babies. Now that he is 5 months old, it’s suggesting activities for 7-9 month old babies. There is the ability to update the babies accomplishments but it does not help the app suggest age-appropriate videos. The app knows the age of the baby but still cannot seem to figure out a fix. I have emailed the company a few time but they have not fixed the issue. We invested in the premium subscription but am regretting the money spent.

Glitch
This app is a great IDEA, however it’s not working properly. Just purchased the yearly upgraded subscription to find out that every time I click on a milestone it is glitching and just closing out of the app. Also not sure why I’m not seeing the same template as the one it shows in the pictures. I do not see where I can click a category for baby’s age like 0-2 months which is what I’m looking into and see what milestones my baby should be reaching. Not sure what’s going on with this app. I feel like I just wasted money unfortunately. I was REALLY looking forward to having a tool to help me along with my first born coming in July.

Stay away
I signed up for the free trial on 3/23 and it said to cancel before 3/30. I immediately tried the app with my 6-month-old. You can tell money went into developing this, which is great.
However, I don’t need a video telling me that the activity is the day is “Call your baby’s name from behind and see if they turn their head.” Especially not for $70.00. It was not worth it at all, or I would have happily spent more.
The day before the trial ended (last night) I was prematurely charged $69.99. I had to call Apple to cancel which was a real treat.
0/10 would not recommend this app. I’m sure there’s something better and cheaper.

A complete disaster
pay a month of the most expensive membership with the intention of discovering the content and if the app is worth paying the annual subscription.
For my surprise, the app has a complicated and not very intuitive usability, the content they promise is mixed and difficult to explore.
They offer live classes, but the three times I tried to connect, I was only able to enter once, the other zooms were not enabled, this one time I was able to enter, the "expert" did not attend, nor is there a place to see the recorded classes as they offer.
Finally, a great idea bad executed and a scam to take money from parents who want to do the best for our children.

Nice app, but several bugs
This app is a great concept, but has several bugs. Issues: 1. The app does not work on an android phone. It shows some random activity plan which is not applicable to my baby instead of the proper activity plan, making it useless. 2. When we log in online as a workaround, it shows the same useless, incorrect activity plan (on iPhone or android). 3. Tons of grammatical and spelling errors.
Do not buy this app if you have an android phone or need to access online. New issue: The app reset all of the activities and now shows past completed activities as zero which is incorrect and frustrating since we completed many activities. This app is way too buggy.
