I met with them and signed the contract. They used many tactics but essentially indicated that under Mexican law I couldn't come back the next day to sign the contract. I had no internet connection at Krystal therefore I could not research the company beforehand. When I got back to my hotel, I looked them up and of course am seeing all that you are seeing. I canceled the contract immediately in writing and by electronic mail. The next day they insisted I come in to sign some paperwork so I could get a refund. I could not understand why. This was Mr. Flores who contacted me. He indicated if I did not return the contract to them, they could not cancel the contract per their legal. So off I went and met with Mr. Flores. All he tried to do was talk me into keeping the contract. When that failed, he said he would help me, but that I had to take it out of legal since I already made the notice to them. I was to tell them that I was happy with the contract so he could then proceed to sell the contract in 45 days. When I told him I did not want to do that, he pulls out a document which says no cancellation or selling of the contract for one year. That was in conflict with the contract language. Paragraph 19 indicated that the contract could be cancelled in 5 days. He said that he had an "easy win" and this was "money in their pocket". And that "if you go to a lawyer you will spend money needlessly and we will win, anyway". I advised him that I would take it up with an attorney and go from there. I am now in the process of contacting the credit card company to see what rights I have from there since Krystal charged over $6,000.00 to my card. Be aware that this company is not interested in helping consumers have an enjoyable experience. If you have to lie to run your business, maybe you shouldn't be in business.
Claimed loss: 6900.00
Desired outcome: Rescind the contract and never contact me again.

They’re are a very fraudulent company! Did the same bs to my wife and I in December of last year and defrauded us over for over $5K! Filed a claim with the bank but we were told because we initiated the payment, and didn’t cancel within the stipulated 5 day period we were held liable! No one, absolutely no one should do business with this company, and the Méxican government seems to be backing them in their criminal activities!
