I had booked a ticket for my parents to travel from India to the USA for June 26th.
I see that the Itenary has completely changed from what i had made the reservation for with no notice as well of the same to me.
I had initially booked a one stop flight from Mumbai to New York JFK via Kuwait and now i see that it has become a two stop flight, due to the age of my Parents they will not be able to travel for such a long time at a stretch.
I tried reaching out to the reservation desk at both Mumbai and Delhi, there people pick up the phone but do not talk and just disconnect.

I went to Sri Lanka(Colombo airport) from JFK(U.S) on 11th May 2017 with my 3 years old child due to mother's funeral through Kuwait airways. Unfortunately, when I arrived Colombo airport the officers told me your baggage was not arrive now u can collect them one or two days later. But I can't wait due my mothers funeral. Therefore I purchased some things for my child and me for the immediate purposes. I spent more than 300 US dollars for purchasing those items. I shall be thankful if you could reimburse these expenses. I attached the tickets, supporting documents(bills) and the letter issued by the Colombo airport officers herewith.

I had booked ticket from Mumbai to New York USA under PNR QFRJC2. subsequently Kuwait Airways changed flight time for Mumbai to New York, which made trip redundant as flight was reaching New York after the function time for which USA visit was undertaken. due to this I cancelled flight and Kuwait Airways confirmed refund of INR 66, 200 on May 16, 2017. However in-spite of repeated reminder over mail and Personal talk to Mr Ramesh, their Refund Coordinator at Kuwait over Phone, Kuwait Airways has not credited my Credit Card Account till 28 May 2017 ? . Now no one is picking up phone at Kuwait ! This is really ridiculous and I may not be recommending any one to book with Kuwait Airways in future.

I was travelling to Mumbai from JFK and had a connecting flight from Kuwait (Flight KU 118 & KU 302). I have selected my meal option as Jain Meals and instead of that i was not provided jain meals in both the flights. I had a kid along with me of ~9 Years and was hungry and could not give him food for more than 23 hrs. This is ridiculous.
When i took the boarding passes from Kuwait airport for boarding flight to Mumbai, i inquired for the Jain meals and ground staff was so rude and arrogant and was not ready to help under any circumstances.
I had booked a return trip from Mumbai - JFK - Mumbai and the meals option opted was Jain Meals. While travelling to JFK, i had got jain meals but while returning back to Mumbai, i was told that the meal options is not updated. I fail to understand how could there be a difference.
We all (3 passengers) were left without food for more than 23 hrs, especially the kid who was going crazy without food.
Moreover no Kuwait ground staff was ready to listen to us nor ready to help even after having a time gap of more than 5 hrs between both the connecting flights.
I need the compensation for the same else i am going to complian to the consumer court about the same as my small kid had suffered because of the mistake of some of your staff.

ku117 flight - added a stop without informing passengers
My parents are traveling from Cochin, India to New York, US, with stop over in Kuwait. You guys suddenly decided to a 3 hour stop over for the leg from Kuwait City to JFK without informing the passengers? I Got to know when I searched in google for flight status! How can an airline add an international stop to its flight, which was supposed to be 13hrs20mins long and later changed to 17.5hrs, and it inform its passengers about the extra stop? This is ridiculous and I demand and explanation!
Same thing happened with my family. They were traveling from Mumbai to JFK and when I check the flight status an extra stop over was added. Unprofessional way of operating. Ridiculous service. Never traveling by Kuwait again.

Actually I would like to file a complain since my original booking supposedly the flight KU162 leaving on 12 April 2017 (eticket no [protected] and [protected]) was cancelled rebooking us to the following Friday flight. We could not take that flight since we have to attend a very important family affair the following Friday 14 April so out of desperation we had to book our flight on another airline which made me pay more. I would like to request that the difference in price be compensated to me since it is not our fault why we were not able to take the flight. I am hoping for your kind consideration. unpleasant journey with kuwait airways
Me and my family used Kuwait airline for our holiday to Srilanka . In our returns we had unpleasant journey.
First you guys cancel our flight that mean we need to come one day earlier from srilanka. That mean very bad news for our family because we travelled to srilanka after four years that mean every minute in there very valuable for us. Because that day we change all the plan in srilanka and we miss some visits. Also I need to pay extra money for cab services Because I booked and confirmed date my returns but change I need to pay extra money.
I travelled with three young kids when you changed flight it's not pleasant time for us. Kids are getting very tired because our transit 19.30 hours in Kuwait . You guys supply hotel but with a kids not good for us that reason I am not booked long transit with three young kids. Originally I have only 3hours transit.
Thirdly our flight delay exactly one hour from Kuwait airport and we land to Heathrow airport one hour later original time I gave cab services. That mean I pay again extra money for them parking ticket .
Finally I lost my luggage still no answer for them. I report Heathrow GBS after five days searches no tracking, After we report Kuwait airways but still not track my luggage. In that luggage my very important documents, old photos, me and my wife watches, ornaments from srilanka., clothes all five of them, my wife's jewellery and some more than items in there we not remember .That luggage more than £2000 for us.
Past time always booked your flight and had pleasant journey with Kuwait airways that reason I booked with a again this time. Unfortunately this time not good at all I pay extra money for cabs, cancelling flight, waiting long time in transit and lost luggage not good at all.
All this reasons I am looking for compensation from Kuwait airlines. I expect reply from Kuwait airways as soon as possible

I was travelling with my family on Kuwait Airways (Flight NO KU302) from Colombo to London on a business trip on 31 March 2017. I was at the check in counters 5 hours prior to the scheduled departure at 5.45am.
All passengers checking in were kept in the queue for nearly 3 hours and were checked in only around 5am. When inquiring as to what the delay was none of the staff were able to provide us with answers.
Since I was worried about any flight delays with the staff being so non-communicative, I inquired from a ground staff about my transit in Kuwait. I was very confidently told that the flight KU301 to London will wait for the passengers even if there is a delay and assured us not to worry about the connecting flight. However, when we arrived in Kuwait we were nearly 2 hours later than our scheduled arrival time and the flight KU301 had already taken off. We were stranded at the airport for nearly 2 hours after which we were informed that we have to take the earliest flight available which is on the following day at 2.34am. We were just stranded at the airport without a change of clothes or being able to even have a wash. When we arrived at the transit hotel we were kept for another 2 hours until we were checked in only at 3pm.
As per my original flight arrangements I was to catch the Nation Express bus in London on 01 April to go to a business meeting in Winchester. The fare has been already been and my seat was confirmed in the bus. Due to the delay I missed this bus and had to take a taxi to Winchester and then to Oxford which cost me Sterling Pounds 120. Furthermore, my hotel booking in London which costed me Sterling 150 was of no use as I couldnt even check into the hotel due to the fact that I arrived in London only on 01 April because of your flight delay.
It was so disappointing that a journey that would have lasted just 12 hours took me 27 hours to reach from Colombo to London. In the process incurring additional costs and missing out important business meetings.
But the most disappointing and worrying fact was the lackluster attitude of your staff when they didnt even try to communicate with the passengers or announce that there are delays and what the next step should be in arranging or addressing concerns regarding our connecting flights etc.
All in all additional costs incurred by me due to your delay came up to Sterling 320and the cost of meeting my buyers in Winchester on 01 April cost me and my Company dearly which cannot even be costed.
I appreciate if the Airline compensates me on my losses.

I used to go to Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 to drop my relatives or my visitors in London traveling by KA
And i used to your non behave low experience employers starting from the entrance security of the abstracts until the counters crew so i get used to it as i thought it is personal behavior, except today accident with bad experience supervisor that i was going to call police to avoid the rude way they deal with us and to get my rights, specially with Kuwaiti passengers, I thought only with me because i asked gently to be with my guest to translate for your counters check in specially you do not have any Arabic speakers on the accident's day it was happen on 15th April 2017 at 12:40 pm
When your employer in the entrance of the line refused to let me walk with my friend to the counter of Kuwait Airways so It was shamed to argue with her who put the policy so i respect her and left my friend fighting to explain in Arabic and english to the KA counter check in asking for upgrade and pay for it after he found that the first class employee was so rude with him by saying " no it is full no change" so he called me then i came to him but not by your line i was taking to her behind the abstract of KA since she was on the end of right counters of KA but i found that she was not friendly with Kuwaiti passenger and treat us like non educated so i asked her to talk to the supervisor, but she ordered me to go and call the supervisor that standing in the line of KA so she did not even try to call her by asking us to go and call the supervisor so we felt that it might be another personal behavior as they do not respect Kuwaiti passengers. We were begging to find only good seat since we came so early before the flight 4 hours!
But she kept saying no chance the flight is full ( in rude way) that we did not accept the way she was treating to us so i had to follow her order by going to the supervisor!
I went to the Supervisor and asked her on polite way to find good seat but she start asking me and repeating " are you passnger !?!?"
I was shocked how bad and rude to asked me this Question and she continued " did the women asked you not to enter the line!?"
I was shocked and figured that the staff have bad reputation and believe that Kuwaiti passengers are not educated and love to break the law and not deserve to be respected ! And the security woman run to me passing the supervisor and start shouting " i told you not to enter the line " with rude way and in front of the supervisor and other poor Kuwaiti passengers, i tried to explain to her that i did not pass but your colleague ordered me to call the supervisor, but she kept repeating the same sentence ! Until another employee of other airlines counter that i was standing in front him asked you employee to calm down !
Here i felt so bad that all your employee that i had dealt with have believed we are not educated people and we deserve rude acting not respected ! I tried to call the police since we were hurt by your employers and so shamed that they put Kuwait Airways on their clothes but my friend asked me to not call since it would be bad for Kuwait as Country and he wanted to travel with out any troubles and we were so weak situation since your supervisor was so rude and did not respect us and asked me to email the DMD of KAC to educate their employers specially in Heathrow terminal 4 and their believes are not true at all and Kuwaiti people respect the law and well educated
So i came back to the supervisor and told her that was not acceptable at all and i explained to her who sent me to her !

delay flight ku168 paris-delhi - lost transfer flight - lack of organization
My name is Laura Herrero and I write due the flight KU168 Paris-Delhi the 8th of April 2017.
The flight took off in Paris with almost two hours delay. After asking the crew in the plane, they assured me I wouldn't lose my flight and everything would be fine. When we arrived in Kuwait, NO representative of Kuwait Airways was waiting for us to escort us to the new gate, and thus we needed to find ourselves first the new gate, second, the flight was already taken off and third, the way to Kuwait Airways office.
No flight until one day after, so we are stuck in Kuwait, and after 3 hours of having landed we don't know yet when we'll be able to leave tomorrow.
Horrible lack of organization!
Kuwait has assured us the hotel tonight, but I request a found for the lost flight in Kuwait, a compensation for the time lost at the airport (more than 2 hours) and the reimbursement of hotel I had booked in Delhi for the night of the 9th of April.
nine hour delayed flight
Good day. I am writing a complaint against the services I have received from flying with Kuwait Airways from United kingdom to Kuwait then to Philippines. My name is Anthony Ian Salvan and i was with my friend Zara Zaida Manuel for a vacation here in the Philippines. Supposedly it would have been a happy trip going back home but went terrible when we have arrived in Kuwait. We were informed in Kuwait that the plane that would take us going to Philippines at around 4am were cancelled due to technical issues, which I do not believe. Worst is, take off time was changed to 12noon. That would mean that I and my friend have to wait for nine hours for the plane going to Philippines. It's unbelievably traumatic situation for the two of us, especially to my daughter waiting for me back home. Also, I have to rebook my bookings from Manila to Davao because of that delayed flight and spent 100 UK pounds for the rebooking. Further, I have to go to Kuwait airport lounge to avail internet services which are not free! No wi-fi in an International Airport. I felt like I was cheated in that situation and the Airport staffs felt no remorse or whatsoever to the pain we have experienced that day. No Kuwait Airways personnel attended us to amend the situation or even offer breakfast. All we got was one bread. I am writing this letter to seek justice for what had happened to us, payment for the costs that I have incurred, and for the Kuwait Airways to publicly say sorry to us. You must understand that we are now in a digital age and businesses flourish by word of mouth. Obviously poor services won't last. Please do investigate this case with haste. My flight number was KU102 and KU417 last April 5 2017 flying from London to Philippines.

Today 25th march 2017 we travelled from mumbai to kuwait - ku 302, 6:30 am flight (Myself trevor monteiro & my 13 year old daughter danielle monteiro). We had 2 medium size suitcase weight for both 45 kgs, a small trolley bag weight 15kgs & a samsung sound bar weight 10kgs but the size based on staff 161cm for which I was charged around irs 8, 500. Considering we had one baggage a trolley bag I don't think they should have charged for the 161 cm as I understand the oversized shoul be looked with 2 baggages together should not exceed 273 cm which in reality we did not exceed. Appreciate if you'll could into this matter & revert back

Hi, I booked above ticket for 2 person for return flight online. I've got automated email confirmation from Kuwait airways for online confiramtion from [protected]@kuwaitairways.com of flight showing both flights from Delhi and from Cairo.
However when printed for e_ticket, it shows only flight from Delhi to Cairo and no return flight. After checking with customer care, they confirmed as ticket is booked for one way only.
I have the confirmation email from Kuwait airways for return flight booking, not sure who is going to help me in this case, as local customer service desk in Cairo mention they can not help.
I need to arrange for VISA, appreciate resolving it quickly as don't want to be penalise due to system problem in case if it is the case.

As a frequent customer of yours, I’m writing in regards to a very distasteful experience I had with your company. I booked two tickets on Ref. EYVUBJ ( 229-[protected] & 229-[protected]) on flight KU331 / KU332 to visit my family in India on 30th March 2017 and returning on 5th May 2017.
It’s understandable if you postpone your flight to another time of the same day. But scheduling a flight to next day is totally unacceptable.
What if people who were scheduled to travel on the day had already committed some assignments on the following day.
Who would answer or pay compensation, if the assignments scheduled on next day is not going to happen?

damaged check-in baggage
I travelled from chennai (maa) to kuwait to (iad) washington dc on the 25th of january flight numbers - flight 771 and flight 7. when I received my check-in baggage in dc, I found that its wheel was broken. my bag is now useless. also, my bag was a gift from my mother and has emotional value attached to it. I feel sad that the bag wasn't handled with care. did not expect this from kuwait airways. also, I had spent a lot of time, money and effort buying the bag since this was my first travel. after I found the bag's wheel broken, I had to undergo a lot of pain carrying it to my house. also, carrying it home cost me extra money - the bag was very heavy and I needed a lot of help carrying it.

I am writing to file an official complaint for my flight KU364 & KU117 from Colombo to New York on January 9th, 2017. The original flight was scheduled to leave Colombo on Jan 9th at 2:50am, land in Kuwait at 6:05am and take off for our final destination, NYC, at 9am.
When we get close to Kuwait airport, we were informed by staff that we couldn't land in Kuwait due to lack of visibility. We landed in Bahrain instead. During the flight to Bahrain, we got assurance from staff over and over that there will be no problem in our connection flights and we should not be worried about it and we will catch our next flight %100.
Their rationale was that since the airport is closed due to weather and lack of visibility, NO flights can leave the airport or land on the airport. There will be no operation till the weather gets cleared up and as a result we will not going to miss our next flight under no condition, since it is impossible for it to take off anyway. Everything made sense to me till this point!
When we landed in Bahrain, there was a debate on whether we will be leaving the plane or we have to remain seated. The decision was made that we should remain seated. That's OK. However, I started to get worried when they announced they can not leave because they are refueling the plane! Why then? And why for so long? It wasn't like we went so far off the original route. It seemed like they were using the time to get something done rather than it being a necessity. Anyway, we took off after a long refuel process and landed in Kuwait. Upon our inquiry from Kuwait Airways booth at the airport, we unbelievably found out that our flight to New York left without us just half an hour ago. To add to the injury, we learned that there will be no flight until the next day and we have to spend 24 hours at airport hotel. I cannot explain the level of frustration and disappointment that I experienced. I could not believe what just happened and how Kuwait airways staff handled the issue without having any empathy towards us.
I understand the weather condition is out of staff's control and the safety should come first. But there are several reasons that made me believe the whole situation could be avoided simply by better management from Kuwait airways:
1- We could have left Bahrain earlier. There was no time and place for refueling. We did not land there to refuel. The sole purpose was to wait till Kuwait air got cleared up and as soon as it happened, we should have left.
2- The plane to New York could have waited 30 more minutes for us. It wasn't like we were transferring from another airline. Both flight were booked through Kuwait Airways and they knew exactly how many of us were supposed to be on New York flight and still decided to let that flight leave without us.
3- The staff on flight from Colombo to Kuwait could have communicated to Kuwait airways office at the airport and let them know that we are on our way, so they would have delayed NYC flight till we get there. They could also communicated and realized the weather got cleared so we could have left Bahrain earlier. None of these happened. Instead, they falsely reassured us that our connection flights will be fine! I felt so betrayed and my trust were broken by their lies. The New York flight departed while we already left Bahrain and en-route to Kuwait. How difficult was to inform airport that we are on our way and to wait for us just an extra half an hour?!
4- There was absolutely no contingency plan on Kuwait airways office. They knew we are going to arrive while our flight has left us behind. There was absolutely no apology for our inconvenience and no alternative plan to arrange a flight with other airlines to get us home earlier. Their only solution was to fly with the exact flight the next day and stay at airport hotel the night. Each one of us had obligation and wanted to be back in New York asap, but we were forced to waste 24 hours of our time.
It was the first time that I flew with Kuwait airways and my highly respectful opinion that I gained by flying from New York to Colombo was greatly tarnished by my return flight experience. I work at hospital and time-sensitive meetings were arranged on my first day at work after two-weeks vacation that I had to miss. There was no time to reschedule those meetings and my reputation is damaged for my absence.
I would like to file official complaint by this letter and request full refund of my ticket price.
I just hope that my experience with terrible customer service, mismanagement, missing one extra day at work and spending a night at airport hotel was all unfortunate incidents and not regular business model of Kuwait Airways. Otherwise, I would strongly advise all my friends and family to never book through your airline.
PS. The next day flight, KU117 on Jan 10th, left Kuwait at 10:30am instead of scheduled 9am departure on a clear day! It was announced that our departure time will be delayed due to "Airport facilities", whatever it meant! Yet, the day before, they couldn't delay the flight and had to leave without us!
business class flight
I flew Business Class from New York- Kuwait-Ahmedabad (KU 118 and KU 345) on Dec 13-14, and flew back from Ahmedabad-Kuwait-New York on 03JAN (KU 346 and KU 117). These flights were the worst flights I've ever taken, and I travel internationally several times a year for the past 20 years.
The misery started right after takeoff. I normally take Business class because due to a herniated disc I'm unable to sit up for long periods of time, and need to lie down when my back starts to hurt. However, these seats didn't recline all the way...they only reclined as much as a standard Economy seat!. As this seat didn't recline fully, I suffered through back pain for the majority of my flight on both ways, which my pain medication only partially alleviated.
There was no personal inflight entertainment for entirety of international flight in either direction, which is practically unheard of in today's era of flying, especially in Business Class. While entertainment was shown in the cabin-top screens, the headphones provided did not work and crew was unable to get the headphones to work, so no entertainment was available for me for either segment of my flight.
Food from JFK to Kuwait was atrocious - I was provided just boiled veggies, which was tasteless, soggy and practically inedible, and the crew did not have any other vegetarian option. This is the only time when the return flight was marginally better, as the food was at least edible this time.
I can say without a doubt this was the worst flying experience of my life, and it happened in Business Class! Given the complete lack of satisfaction with this experience I request a full refund of the cost of this flight.
