Behaviour of a Ladbroke staff member
Yesterday, Monday 11th June, I visited the Ladbroke shop on Mutley Plain in Plymouth at 13:40.
As the online system was down I asked the only member of staff who was in the shop if he could telephone the gaming room in order to determine whether Ladbokes were betting on the Bet 365 Bunbury Cup at Newmarket at 16:00 hours on Saturday.
I am on old age pensioner and have been betting ante-post for 50 years. However rather than being helpful the staff member, who refused to give me his name, instead told me to "[censored] off." He allso asked me how much I wanted to bet and informed me that during the previous week he had phoned up because a customer wanted to place a bet of £5,000, which seems a lot to me!.
He also informed me that how was he to know which number he should phone. His response was illogical because he must have known which number to phone if he had, as he had said he had done, phoned up the previous week.
I felt threatened and found the interaction traumatic. As I felt very uncomfortable I simply said "okay, forget it" and left the shop, unlike the member of staff at no point did I swear or raise my voice, which as a qualified psychologist I know all about.
Strange to say the least because the excellent manager in that shop, Josh, has always been excellent and polite.
I was extremely upset about the response I received, after all is Ladbrokes not in the hospitality business?
Please inform me what action tou intend to take.
My name is Stephen Heath and I can be contacted at the following email address:

area mane get
It has been in my understanding that the area manager of Ladbrokes bank st Bradford is taking money from the till and making customers from the shop to play in big bets from the Reciete that other customers gave him to cash out which he Craig put back in the gaming machine and transfers money to the gaming machines and calls customer to play big spins on rullette game when the numbers land example if he put 7 pound on 0 and it land that £252 pound but he will put the amount as £152 lands he takes 40% of the normal wining and pocketed the rest and his been doing this in all the shops in. Bradford centre name is Craig area manager please will you investigate this matter as he is abusing this system thankyou

On Monday the 24th September I recently visited one of your shops in beckton, I have been in this shop a few times in the past to have a bet, I was astounded when I went to put a bet on, the lady behind the counter was on the phone and wasn't really concerned in taking my bet, cashier name begin with A or something like that, when she did she did it with no justification,
Within half an hour I put on three bets all that won but on each occassion there was a problem with this cashier first bet she under paid me by 4.00, £10.00 on a8/11she paid me 13.17 when I complained she said this was what was on screen, to be paid out next incident I put a bet on, she told me that I didn't have a winning bet, even though she appartently scanned the ticket on your machine, , when result was infront of her and my slip was there also with the name of the horse which won at 9/2, she continued to tell me there was nothing on the slip, as i was not happy another member looked at my slip and paid me out on that ocassion, stating that there are two horses in the same race with same name, third she under paid me my last bet by 50p £5.00 on a 5/2 17.50 I received 17.00, as I was so annoyed by this member of staff I left very frustrated, annoyed,
All this time the cashier was on her phone talking to someone on the other line, I feel that this cashier should not be left alone to settle bets if they are going to short change customers in there bets, as I class that as stealing .
I have been gambling for my years and know how to settle without a computer or calculator, so I am not happy with what went on in this shop, please could a customer advisor please get in contact with me over this matter many thanks
