Payment not received
I took gold flexi plan in Panjagutta branch for 12 month period. Payment was made for September month on 4th September 2023 through Gpay.
Payment failed from their end in app, but amount got deducted in my account.
I haven't received the refund yet. It's been 19 days.
Bank statement, UPI details, and all possible proofs were submitted, but no help at all.
Extremely bad customer service.

On receiving our car we were unable to notice the damage caused by your drivers, due to traffic on the peak time. We were shocked to see the damage caused by your employees and they have not uttered a single word abut that incident. I am Ramananda . Purchased a scheme of 5000 /- per month in the last month from Mangaluru branch. Date 29-07-23, Group cade AVE-161
Even though the phone number i gave in written was correct, the people on the help desk entered it in computer wrongly , so I am not able to get the details through the app. When enquired for the same, they called me to come and sign on some document. I went only for this purpose last Saturday and signed, but till now I am not getting any information of paid amount( Rs.5000) through the app.
When ever we call the people there will say it will be corrected, but till now I am not getting any information in app.
Can you suggest me how i can take my money back from the scheme? please

I have entered in Lalitha Jewellery at Rajahmundry for exchange my ornament to buy new one. They have checked my ornament weight and purity and certified as 100% (Purity). Even after verified as 22K gold, 100% rate is not providing as you mentioned. Reduction rate for our gold after checking purity. Not giving 100% price for my Gold as per market price as on date. Please take necessary action in this matter.

Today morning I went to lalitha jewellery vijayawada branch to exchange my silver anklets articles.. where one of the staff gave a slip of 5,200 rupees of exchanged articles by weighing it.. where the articles where purchased in the same branch by me in the last month…
The staff took the slip from me and tores that as there is silver article and template model article in the exchange articles… again weighed and she gave a slip of 4900.. I took the slip for purchasing the new Article in exchange.. I gave the slip to new article concern person.. thereafter the person who gave me the 4900 slip took the slip from other staff and tored it and gave another slip to her 4500 without my concern and without even informing me… and the staff are proceeding for the new article bill without informing me about the modified exchange slip… and alleging that the stone weight is added in the previous bill..
I took the entire articles and slip to raise a complaint on this which was occurred without my concern and without information..

My spouse and me went to buy silver anklets. Costed abt 4,800/-. We abt to pay bill. They asked about payment of cash. I said Two two thousand rupee notes. They asked abt ID. I gave PAN card, they also insisted me to give aadhar card. I mentioned. You can take one . Why are are you asking both for just 4,000/-. Then I mentioned you can take my proofs. But I would mask them with last four digits for aadhar and give. As we see most common missuse of ID,s the floor manger was not at all polite. He mentioned. He had orders not take and no problem to loose as they have huge issues.
Cheating during gold exchange
At Lalitha jewelers Kammanahalli branch,
Visited the above jewellery shop for buying chain by exchanging old gold
During the process shop management was converting our old gold purity to 100% and for calculation of old gold price they have considered price of 91.6% purity gold price.
When requested shop management, they have replied that if you wish you take otherwise get out. When approached for solution, they were telling me to buy at some other shop.
I have all the proofs with video recording.

After joining, Lalithaa’s representatives told us to install your app for monthly installment payments.
After installation, while paying the second installment in November, we observed that the gold price in Lalithaa app (Rs.4890) was higher than the market price(Rs.4855) per gram.
That means per gram you charged an extra Rs.35, which would become Rs.2680 for a total 76.6 gram.
1. We contacted the customer care on 25-11-22 and asked about the price difference.
They said that they would check and reply but did not respond.
Again we contacted on 27-11-22 in whatsapp and phone call but they did not give any clear information. They told that it was BASF rate that's why there was difference of Rs. 35. So we paid the second installment on 30-11-22.
2. Again on 17-12-2022, we contacted the customer care about the price difference.
On that day, Lalithaa app was showing Rs 5045 but the market price was Rs 4970.
So the customer care representative told me that Lalithaa app was showing Chennai market price.
But this was not informed by Lalithaa’s representatives while selling the plan.
So many things were told during the selling of this plan but there was nothing mentioned about the price difference or Chennai rate.
Why? They did not mention in the bond that they would take Chennai price.
Again I called the customer care center on 02-01-23.
As there was a difference of Rs. 200 per gram on that day. This would be a huge loss (Rs. 15500 aprox.) And generally there was very little difference in prices from here and there. It can be lesser or higher. But the Chennai price was always higher than Hyderabad price in your app.
Lalithaa’s representative told that she would inform management and call me back. But I did not get any call back.
3. So I visited the Chandanagar branch on 19-01-23, and asked about the price difference. They told that it was mistake from their side that not mentioning about Chennai price. They said that by default, it was Chennai price in all Lalitha showrooms so that's why it was not mentioned.
During that conversation, I showed them that price shown in app was Rs. 50 higher than the price displayed in showroom i.e. Chennai price.
Finally they said that there was a problem with the app.
*This was clear cheating.
I was fed up with all this so I decided to stop this plan but take back my money.
But they rejected to give back cash and asked me to purchase the ornament with that amount.
Then I asked to give me an ornament with the gold which was credited into my account .But they rejected for that and said to purchase at the current market price.
That would be Rs 5000 loss to me. So I declined to take it. I told that it was clear injustice to me so I would go to consumer court. The branch manager told "Do whatever you want".
They told different reasons(in fact lies) each time about the price difference and always the price they took was higher than the market price which was loss to me. Even after all this wrong information and cheating, I wanted to close this issue amicably so I asked for the gold which was purchased in two installments.
I had spent lot of time on this issue unnecessarily as they did not provide correct information while joining the plan even after contacting them multiple times.
Still I wanted to bring this issue to their higher management notice before going to consumer forum so I sent mail to them on 7th March.
They did not even bother to respond to the mail.
I want to make public aware of this kind of cheating so that others will not suffer like me.

Thaali chain
We have brought one Gold Thaali chain with diamond stones on December 2022 at Lalitha jewelery Kumbakonam.Marriage happened at 26th Jan even one week is not got completed.That got damaged and we went for replacement but they disagreed to due so as it bought on November.
They took it as old gold .I have used only 4 days in my neck.We bought again new Thali chain with diamond stone on January 31.
That too now got damaged even within 1 month at Febuary 25.The whole chain is getting damaged day by day.

On February 12th, 2023, I visited the Lalitha Jewelry Tirupathi branch. I went there to purchase a gold item, but when I was standing at the jewelry place I wanted to look at, none of your sales executives came to assist me, even though I called them. They were busy chatting with each other. Additionally, your executives were unable to tell me the exact value for the ornament. Your competitors, GRT and Kalyan Jewelers, are far better in terms of hospitality and product knowledge.

I had paid the monthly chit scheme in lalithaa jewellery in Vizag branch. due to some reasons I couldn't paid the monthly chit scheme when I was paid the monthly scheme they those who are there in staff told in case of you can't afford the scheme the amount will be refunded now they are told we can't return money please buy any item I told her (who is sitting in cash counter) I don't want any Item please refund my amount she told to their manager and he would come to me he told I will give amount please submit chit scheme receipt and I'd proof, letter and one thing the manager behaviour not good and also rude behaviour lady also overacting please tell to your staff please respect every customer and give best services please change the staff.

We paid 11 months chit @ Punjgutta Lalitha Jewellery. At the time of joining they escorted every where and treatment was great. But, once it is completed and came to buy item, no one cares in the store until unless shout for atention.
They don't even care to ask what what is customer need. We have to run behind shop keepers and bug them.

I am retired Capt of Indian Army. While purchasing jewel, on request of sales women, I have joined chit scheme at Lalitha Jewellery in Jun 2021 with a aim to promote life of people those who are on below poverty line. At the time of joining, I have been roughly briefed by sales women regarding chit scheme. ie we can purchase accumulated gold at the time of maturity. Other than nothing has been disclosed.
On 04 May 2022, when I made a purchase against matured chit scheme, they have charged 50% wastage of purchased gold. This is totally unfair and clean cheating to the customer.
Customers are to be very cautious while joining such scheme as important points benefit to seller (Lalitha Jewellery) are not being shared intentionally.
Complaint regarding wrong calculation of old gold exchange

I was told the old gold bangle that i gave for exchange was 20 carats purity i.e. per industry standard it's 83.3% gold i.e purity based wastage should 16.7%. But the estimator at the desk had put purity based wastage as 18%.
My 3 questions
#1 how can you deviate from the standard and minus 18% purity wastage while your are allowed only 16.7% for 20 carat? Is this right?
#2 your staff are not giving any proof of caratage of the old gold from the machine check. How are we to believe it's 20 carat or 22carat?
#3 after deducting the purity based wastage, the result weight means it's pure gold after deducting the alloy weight based on purity caratage. Then it should be ideally be exchanged on 24carat rate. But they have taken the nett weight at 22carat gold rate only. Is this right?

Submitting wrong invoice to customer and collecting extra money
I am an old customer of Lalithaa Jewellery, Jayanagar Showroom. I have joined for Eleven Month 'Jewellery Purchase Plan and continuously paid all monthly instalments and my last payment was made in the month of Mar 2021, but due to present lockdowns, we unable to visit showroom to purchase of Gold. On 04-09-2021, Visited the same showroom for purchase and submitted our purchase plan cards. The executives shown the gold of our requirements. We asked the rate of gold, staff said that rate is Rs 4450/-per gram. We also met Mr. Anil Kumar, General Manager at the showroom for certain clarification before invoice raised. We collected the gold and paid amount as per invoice. Due to rush and Pandemic, we came out from showroom and on reaching home, we checked the invoice, the grand total is not tally and showing extra value of Rs 3102.01. The rate of Gold is correctly mentioned as Rs. 4450.00 per gram as per the showroom rate list. (refer to the copy of Invoice attached). This is my third Jewellery Purchase Plan. Last two years, I had no issues. On 05-09-2021, when I asked the showroom Manager Mr. Dinesh, he is explaining one and other reasons, which is not yet all justified, said that the rate of gold is fixed on an average of Rs 4568.00 and invoice showing Rs 4450.00. I am asking about the arithmetic calculation error, i.e., total mistake. The market/showroom price is Rs 4450 and how they can fix the higher rate per gram. The gold accumulated in the card was based on the monthly rates and have to pay the gold rate as on purchase rate as per agreed.
You are requested to look into this issues, check the calculation and ask the showroom to refund the excess amount of Rs 3195.00 including GST which was paid excess and submit me the correct invoice.

Fixed rate savings schemes trap
Be aware of the Fixed rate savings schemes. You will be fooled. The repeated TV advertisements are tricky! Lalitha owner Mr. Kiran Kumar emotional speech will be like caring of customers. They will flash frequent TV Ads during the gold rates are high. During purchase of scheme they will say you have one time option to change the fixed rate. Once we paid deposit and got trapped in fixed saving scheme, if we try to change price sales men( Sathish ) says gold rate is fixed and can not be changed due to policy change. The policy change will not be notified to customers. they wont give even RS 1 discount. I got trapped with savings scheme in Lalitha Nagercoil branch at a high gold rate was unable to change the rate as they said initially... Totally I lost 60K of my principle. It is loosing scheme and not saving scheme.

I escalated this is issue regarding orders dept.. I visited 2 days ie(24-07-2021) back that is in Kannada lalitha jewellery I explained my requirement to orders detp..person MR.Varma as we discussed I said 40 grams taali chains along with pendent after that he said inform the same issue to Chennai dept but still I didn't get any call from him and doesn't have proper responsive from him, as well there is no responsibility to take an order form customers so.. I escalted this issue to the concern dept..! Please let us know my order status issue. because once the requirement is fulfilled i will pay the amount quickly.
Scheme
Bond scheme they mentioned if v come before 5 mths if gold price reduces they offer that day price before 5 months and if v wait till 5 mnths they reduce 5% VA and it can be claimed even a month before. But wen I went to purchase things are completely opposite. They lie to customers to make them pay for bonds. Very worst experience with lalitha and would never recommend to family and friends!
