My name is bongani Nhlapo my ID is [protected] I also ask myself about how legal wise handle matters l also lodge a complain about local municipality my matter went to pillar to post after they promise me to assist l even sent requirements documents after they remove the attorney that was busy with my claim and gave me the fake advocate and I not sure that he exist is being a year now since waiting if you know that you are going to fail you were supposed to inform me in time legal wise is not legit it's a fake were as I paying monthly without missing any month.

I remember that I was working for Checkers 2016 or 2017 and I went to OK Furniture because I wanted to buy a stove and a washing machine. The lady asked me if she can do a background check and I said yes. I think what happend was instead of doing a background check she put me under debt review but I dont have any accounts on my name and at that time I had no debt. I onoy found this out because I was in the process of building and wanted to go for a loan when they told me Im under Debt Review. I logged a complaint on this platform against legalwise in June 2022. After this complaint legal wise contacted me, and supplied me with an attorney. It is now 1 year and 3 months since we had an appointment with the attorney, and we have had no feedback on this matter whatsoever. When I tried to follow up with the attorney, she was rude and said she was busy and i had to wait.
Not even legalwise has followed up on this for more than a year. I am paying premiums every month, but i dont know why i bother to do so. As paying for a service from legal wise is a waste of time and money.
Nothing is happening with our case, and with the amount of time that has elapsed, i am almost certain we will not be able to win the case that has been ignored for more than a year.
This entire case from the begining with legalwise has been ongoing now for almost 2 years. This is appauling service! and i will be lodging a complaint to the ombudsman against legalwise and their attorneys.
Title Deed Change
I joined legalwise on March 11th 2012 with hopes that the title deed of a house that was owned by my mother would change into my name since I am the only one left.I was promised that they cover up to R150 000 per year of claim done by a client so as a desperate person I joined starting with R200 per month then later I was given a golden offer of premium then I paid R350 then R385 but when claiming I was sent to a lawyer who asked for R60 000 and legalwise told me they cannot pay that I have to pay it so I want all my money from 2012 to 2023 they are a scam and greedy criminals

Legal Advice
I have submitted a claim on the 28th of July 2022. The claim is about the money I paid a lawyer (Mr. Swanepoel of Coetzee & v/d Bergh Oudtshoorn), whom is not affiliated with Legalwise, the amount of R9608.00 for Court appearances. I submitted their Claim Forms and the lawyers' invoices as well as case files. After that they requested different documents every other week (sometimes every third week). Never all documents needed by them.
There's been no feedback or correspondence from them and I have to phone them literally every week to enquire about my claim. First it was the document issue, then to the Claims department and now to the Refund Department and their Customer Care Centre still has to call me within the next 48 hours.
So, I'm hoping and praying.
Please advise/ help.

My wife was placed on early pension in September 2016 by her Company Old Mutual. We then handed the matter over to Legalwise to assist us. They gave us an attorney who we were unhappy with and then they referred us to the attorney currently dealing with the matter. It's now 6 years and the attorney is still waiting on documentation from Old Mutual. We feel strongly that Legalwise should be held accountable as we have a policy contract with Legalwise. I am a platinum member and feel aggrieved that our matter is taking so long to be resolved. I have complaint previously but all I received is empty promises. I am of the opinion that Legalwise reimburses the Attorneys at a lower rate which means Legalwise cases will not get priority.
Desired outcome: Compensation to the value of R250 000 from Legalwise and refund of my premiums for the past three years as I wanted to cancel my policy but I'm concerned Legalwise will say my policy is cancelled and I do not qualify for assistance.

I lodged my initial query on 17 June 2022 via email. Upon querying on 4 July 2022 I was advised that three attempts were made to contact me on my OLD cellphone number although the initial query was submitted via email. I was requested to submit documentation which I did on the aforementioned date. Up until today, no correspondence / contact is forthcoming.
Customer service is clearly non-existent.
Legalwise not accepting my case
I need to lay a complaint against Legalwise. I took out the policy in ocktober 2020. A year later I had a problem where I needed assistance, After back and forth for 4 months, and me having to follow up the entire time as they never get back to you, they finally advised that they cannot assist me as my problem pre dates my cover! this is a blatant lie! The contract we signed in said issue was signed in 2018, however the problems only arose in Oct 2021. So we joined legalwise in Oct 2020 and only needed help with a problem that arose in oct 2021. It does NOT predate cover! They are just looking for excuses not to help their clients who pay every month for a service they will never be able to use. I will lay a complaint on ever platform and with one I can, as I will not accept this service!
Desired outcome: Appoint an attorney and fight the case as you are suppose to, or refund all premiums since inception

Refusal of paid mechanic to fix my car

I filed a complaint to the Mitchells Plain Branch in August 2021 with Stephen Shabalala about a mechanic that I paid in full R15, 000 to overhaul the engine of my car 3 years ago and my car was with him for 3 full years while every time he would ask for more money and claim that the car needs one or the other part to have it totally fixed. Eventually when he told me after 3 years that the car was ready for collection when I took the car from him nothing on the car was fixed and the car was leaking oil and a lot of the parts were stolen off the car. I asked him why all the parts were missing on the car and the car was not fixed and the oil leak was running out of the engine he claimed that the car was right and he then refuse to fix the car after I paid him R15, 000 rand already. So I went to Legal Wise in Mitchells Plain where the consultant by the Name of Stephen Shabalala took my case and promised me he would get the thing sorted out. He never gave me any feedback as to what the situation with the case was and when I asked one of the supervisors to get this case to an attorney who can take the case to court she told me that I need to get the case going by doing everything by myself. She sounded very abrupt with me and was not very helpful and made me feel that they are not in a position to help me to get the issue resolved. So now I am at wit's end with Legal wise and nobody seems to really be interested to get my situation resolved and I never get to any higher authority to help me sort out my problems but yet I have to pay my monthly subscriptions every month but the service they are giving me is rotten and very very bad. I threatened to go to the newspapers with the bad service I'm getting from the Mitchells Plain branch and I'm being shoved from pillar to post while my car is standing being spoiled at the mechanic for 3 years and she was so rude with me shouting at me that I need to go fetch my car at the mechanic because it doesn't seem if he is ever intended to fix the car but why do I pay Legal Wise to fight my legal battles for me if they advise me that I am having a lost cause. I am in desperate need of legal assistance and I'm a pensioner struggling to pay my monthly subscriptions to LegalWise when they in fact refuse to help me.

Good morning. I am so disappointed with LegalWise I will never again in my life subscribe to LegalWise membership after I have been paying premiums but when I had a legal case for LegalWise to assist they dumped me, never cared to assist until such time that I had to be the one calling their offices to remind them and even after calling their offices no one ever contacted me to interview me and see how I can be assisted. I ended up sorting my disputes with Eskom seeing that no help was coming from LegalWise. I therefore canceled my membership and also reversed the September 2021 monthly debit order because LegalWise had showed me that I am only their member when it comes to debuting the premiums against my bank account but with no intention to deliver their promise and their duty. So they firstly breached the contract and also made me feel defrauded of my premiums. I kindly request a refund of all my premiums paid to LegalWise because I was paying for no service and it cannot be that anyone in their rightful minds pay for no services rendered. Good day, my name is Bongani Mbambo, I have a complain about Mr Nkosi Sabelo Kempton park branch he is being handling my case since last year, but now I'm no longer getting a good service from him since last year December he told me he will get a court order for the police to release my car then he told me someone else will handle my case but I haven't had from him, I called the branch countless times will always told he is busy sends email after emails he won't respond, now I don't know what is happening with my case or who is now handling my case.Please legal wise assist me I am a paying client who deserves to be treated fairly as much as you always get your premium every month.
I am a Legalwise member but I could get legal help
I phoned Legalwise on the 14th of February seeking legal advice. I was told that a legal consultant would contact me in 48hrs. Till today, I have not heard from Legalwise. I even phoned Legalwuse and asked to speak to the person who was supposed to have called and I was told that he was busy on the phone, he would get back to me. Till today, I have not heard from Legalwise. Today is the 26th of February, I reported the matter on the 14th of February. What kind of service is this, all they are interested in is to deduct your money every month without fail, but do nothing for you when you need their services. This is broad daylight robbery, I feel rreally scammed by Legalwise!

No feedback on my cases!
I'm so frustrating with the service of legalwise. I have currently 2 cases with legalwise and struggling with feedback and service from both cases. Thulani vama is dealing a case that I have regarding the plumbing certification that was made out when I bought my property in may this year. He had to send a letter of demand to the company but after two weeks i'm still struggling with him to draw it up for me to sign off.
Send email after email and even called the branch to speak to the supervisor robyn kleintjes to complain about the case. I also spoke to her about my other case that I have at the rental housing tribute and she informed me that she will take care of this for me.
Two days ago, thulani send me a letter of demand with no amounts in of any content. I have emailed him back to say that he needs to insert the content and the amounts in and then send it back to me. He have done so, but no the contend is incorrect and he have not broken up the amounts to state were they are coming from after I emailed him to state that. I phoned robyn again to complain about the lack of workmanship and passion that her staff have for there job.
She have apologized on his behalf and told me that she will speak to him and make sure that he send me the letter of demand.
Till this far I still don't know what is happening with my cases and still don't have the letter of demand drawn up.
I have no words.

On june I call legal wise and launch dispute about cell c contract I have with them after few day people from legal wise called and and tell me he will handle my dispute but even today I never got any feedback regarding my dispute I send the person whos handle dispute an email with regard to my matter he doesn't respond now I dont knw what is a way forward with regard to my matter because each and everyday im sure I lose the information they will need by taking long with the matter. It is not my first time having a problem like this the first one about a reckless landing of the car finance I got from absa the matter was with legal wise for almost 6 months and the time the were doing a follow up I was nolonger having a car I tradede it in so the way you hand thing is not professional is like playing ground tell us if you dont want to work with me the business your doing it has lot of compitates and they all ways ready to welcome new people.
