Order returned to sender no help offered
I placed an order through loft.com on 10/3/16. I received a shipped order notification on 10/5/16. When I went to check the status today, 10/17/16, I noticed that the package had been wrongfully returned to sender. Having previously received an item from the same order (there was a split shipment), I know that my address information was correct. I contacted loft.com through chat and was advised to contact FedEx even though Surepost / USPS was involved. At no point during the conversation did the representative offer to contact the shipper on my account. I was then advised to contact loft by phone to reorder, which means that they will charge my credit card again and credit me once the original package is returned. I find all of this to be terribly inconvenient and aggravating. I receive little apology and sub pare service to a problem I did not create. Buyer beware, if something goes awry with your order do not expect loft.com to step up and provide even mediocre level service. Disheartened and will not return.
just lost a long time customer!
I have been a long time customer and a big fan of Ann Taylor, until they screwed up everything. Since I was a client they gave me a coupon with a 50% discount. So I ordered some items and applied my coupon code. Later I received a confirmation email saying everythig went well and they charged $350 from my credit card. However, when they shipped out my order, they charged my card again! So, in total I paid $700 and coupon never worked! I never authorized them to charge me that much and yet they charged me as if nothing happened. I called them many times and still have not received my refund! Nice job AnnTaylor, you just lost a long time customer!
Ann Taylor - Unethical behavior
I made a purchase at the Loft, and on the day of the purchase they asked if I wanted to open an account to get a greater discount. So, I decided then to open the account. I gave the person my debit card, and she returned it. My purchase was for $35.00. It was my understanding at the time that the transaction was made with my debit card, and awaited the new card to come in the mail. TWO months later, I get a call requesting payment on a late charge. I told the rep that I have never even used the card or activated the card sent by mail. How could I have a late charge? He informs me then that the purchase made for $35.00 was already charged to the account before receipt of the card... I didn't even know that was possible. He said "It happens all the time." I asked why they wanted my debit card. He stated that the rep asks for the card to receive the bank information. During the call, I paid the amount in full, in addition to a $35.00 late payment which was equal to the purchase..Needless to say, they went ahead informed creditors... I went from a great score of 725 to a whooping 649! Thank you kindly, Ann Taylor
Unethical behavior- the Manger, Madolin at Village Pointe Shopping Ctr Omaha, NE #1464
The manager named Madolin, she is very RUDE and has the Unethical behavior. They could not figure out how to do a simple return and were trying to not give me full refund. I had all receipts and purchase was made at their store. Madolin throw out my two dress and forced me to walk away and drive across town to a different loft store for them to give me the full refund. I am very disappointed with the treatment of the store manager.

Online customer service
I attempted to place an order a month ago on their website during a sale using a gift card, and it told me my order went through. I never received a confirmation email or an order number, but my gift card balance was $0.
I called today to find out what happened, and a wonderful service rep talked me through everything. She told me that they could reimburse the money, but not back onto the card; instead they would just repay the money that they had "lost". She agreed to refund the money if I called back with my credit card number and complaint number.
I called back, and the woman on the line told me that they could put the money back on the gift card, but not on my credit card. She put me on hold 3 times, and each time returned with the same spiel. Finally I asked to be transferred to a manager, who merely said the same thing ("Your card was placed on an authorization hold, we can credit your back and the money will be on your card within 24 to 48 hours."). LOFT - it is YOUR website that screwed up, don't make the customers pay for your mistakes!
The rep was rude and impolite with me
I didn’t like the website www.anntaylorloft.com. I have placed the order on the website. It was easy and the delivery was fast, but when I opened the parcel, I understood that the seller shipped wrong stuff to me. I contacted them immediately and asked to change the orders, but the seller refused and started to argue with me. It was really terrible to hear all these terrible things. Don’t deal with them!
poor customer service and return policy
i have shopped at loft and ann taylor for a very long time and i will never shop with this company or any affiliates in the future. I place an order on dec. 4th and it has been a nightmare with your loft since. i put in the wrong sizes and quickly called back to change only an hour later. i was told i couldn't just change the sizes but i would have to reorder the whole order again. then the cust. service representative ordered 2 of the same pair of pants. I wound up with 300 dollars of unneeded merchandise. I mailed the items back a week ago and i have now been told that I will not be refunded until mid-january. this will wind up being a month long ordeal with loft and i encourage all to spend their hard earned money else where

Rudeness of associate
On march 10, 2012 I visited the loft twice that day. I enjoy the sales and items the store has to offer.
On my second visit the desk associate was so into her conversation with others she never paid
Attention or made eye contact. She was ringing up the merchandise and I had to interrupt her to ask
Questions. She wrote on my sales receipt without ever looking at me and told to me to read it.
To make matters worst as I was leaving, the alarm at doors went off. I was very embarrassed and had to returned to desk. She took bag slamed it against the alarm box and returned the bag without even
A sorry. I should not have to make a scene to be treated properly.

Poor service, rude sales associates
Two sales associates and one manager ganged up on me regarding a returen. Niether of them could figure out how to do a simple return and were trying to not give me full refund. I had all receipts and purchase was made on the same day, so their were absolutley no issues on my part; but I was forced to walk away and drive accross town to a different Ann...

Early this year I have been contacted by the collection company saying that I have a debt of a $100+ with the fees comes to $228 which I owe to WFNNB/Ann Taylor store. I have forwarded a letter to the collection company and WFNNB/Ann Taylor collection department sent by certified mail asking to provide a proof that debt had been acquired by me and it's validity. At this point me and my 7 month pregnant wife had applied for a coop and were getting ready for a board meeting and we really needed to move out of our old apartment. My credit history was always flawless I have an auto lease for over 30000$ which is always paid on time and all of my cards are paid in full by the end of the every month so if I had bought something even for a 100$ and decided to take it on the card it would be paid in full right away. I also wanted to note that I had never received any statements or phone calls from the WFNNB/Ann Taylor saying that I owe money and being late on payment the first call was from collection company and at that point I had been shocked with the news and phone call had been received in January/February 2010. In 30 days I received no response from neither collection company or WFNNB/Ann Taylor and managed to fail a coop board meeting based on low credit score and pending collection action! Can you imagine? I spent a lot of money for board and at that time my wife about to give birth and we couldn't move to the new place closer to the place she was supposed to give birth! She had an early labor because of all the stress. Now I receive another phone call from different collection company about the same debt so the previous one had no proof debt was mine and sold it over to another company. Also on the credit report is says that debt had been acquired in April 2009 and reported to collection in May 2009, one month later how is it possible?

As a former employee for Ann Taylor, I find it discusting that district managers are still employed after knowing and allowing her stores to open fraudulent accounts. By fraudulent, I mean using tourist passport info and looking up addresses for local timeshares. Simple as that... Get tourist info, write it down... Inform customer they are receiving a discount for showing passport.. And then calling their info in to your division. What's the end result? The District manager looks good on the financial aspect of making goal.. What's the real result? You've lost money, and have part in it! Makes you wonder about it.. Ever look into it? Maybe you should... And so should MasterCard .

Poor Customer Service
I tried to make a purchase because a sale event was going on. I wouldn't have made the purchase if there wasn't a sale. I missed the area where I needed to add the promo code into the checkout. I immediately sent their customer service department a notice that I made a mistake. Instead of granting me the promotion, they sent me a reply that they wouldn't...

In today's economy, many women depend on email sale notices to determine when they are going to shop. A popular company, Shop It To Me, sends "Sale Alerts" to people advising of specific stores and brands having a sale. Often, Shop It To Me has a promotion running with the company to obtain a further discount.
This week, Shop It To Me ran a "Sale Alert" promotion for Ann Taylor, a popular clothing store for professional women. It provided a promotional code.
Ann Taylor recently got rid of plus sizes in its stores, stating that there was a lack of demand, regardless of the fact the average woman is a size 14. So, I made my first "online" purchase with Ann Taylor this week and entered the promotional code.
After entering the promotion, the website advised that they would determine if I was eligible for the promotion AFTER I entered my payment information.
AFTER I paid, the 30% discount was not applied.
After several emails with their customer service, they refused to honor the promotion, stating that the promotion did not apply to sale items - although Shop It To Me only alerts potential customers to sale items.
So for the many women who now need to shop ONLINE because their size was discontinued, I would not recommend doing so, especially if you are shopping under the belief that you may be obtaining a discount.
I have heard that The Limited is not carrying plus sizes in their stores. I think I'll go check that out.

This is the 2nd time I went in to purchase items and y'all clearly have 40% off entire purchase! If you all are going to exclude items like Lou and Grey from not being included in the 40% off entire purchase, then y'all need to clearly state on the sales signs what is excluded! You have lost a customer, from Tyler, Texas!
Ann taylor is not working with shop it to me, Shop it too me takes a promotion code that they know nothing about and posts it, you should not be mad at Ann Taylor. SYOP going to these coupon sites if u want valid promotions go to teh source, Ann Taylor NEVER gives codes to these companies and NEVER honors them as they are not usually valid codes. Call there customer servicxe and they will set you up with real codes.
