I purchased four dresses from Lord & Taylor in October for my upcoming wedding and received two. No notification was received informing me that they had canceled the other two dresses, due to lack of availability. So I kept waiting and finally reached out to find out that they were not coming and I was not charged for them. Out of the two dresses that I did receive, I kept one and returned the other. It’s been almost a month and I’m still waiting for my credit. I have reached out to customer service and they keep giving me the runaround, saying that they have to wait for the “inspection” to be done- by now they could’ve inspected a factory! I bought another style of dress from the same label from a different store and returned it on the same date as this one and received the credit within two days of delivery of the package. Lord & Taylor did the same to my mother and she’s still waiting for her refund too. I cannot believe that it would take this long. I think they get the credit from their vendors and hold on to the money that they’re supposed to return to the customers for as long as they can. I am ready to call my credit card and also my lawyer if this is not resolved immediately. This company is likely in its way to bankruptcy or collecting all the money to jump ship, because it’s clearly not operating with integrity.

Desired outcome: Credit of the whole amount + compensation for my time for so many emails and the run around and all the unnecessary pre-wedding stress they’ve given me.
