Lowe's review: Order did not arrive twice

I ordered my husband a Blackstone Grill on Aug 29th and was having it delivered for his birthday. We went with Lowes because you offered free assembly.

The morning of delivery I received a confirmation and than 5 minutes before the delivery they emailed and said it could not be delivered. We already arranged for someone to be home for work and I was furious. I called and was told that it had not been assembled and they switched delivery to Sept 5.

this morning I received an email that the item was being loaded on the truck. An hour later the delivery truck calls me and tells me they have no item for me. Than a second email comes in telling me I need to change the delivery date. So this is the second time you have fallen short on an advertised promise

I called the help line and was once again told it was not assembled.

At this point I had them cancel the order because they told me they had no assembly team available for a long time.

Your false advertising and false promises are not acceptable. I will be lodging a complaint with the BBB
