This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I never knowingly authoritzed this company to charge my account $88.97 like they did, I truly never read the terms and conditions that I will in the future. These people at the 800 customer service line are rude ignorant people who do not care. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Too bad we have companies like this since now I will no longer order on the internet from companies. I will stick with Amazon for everything.

This is the worst place that I have ever had to deal with and this weekend when I have time I will be filing complaints with all parties involved. They do this because they know people are too busy and really sometimes not everyone looks at their statements. I am disputing the charge now. I will find the Better Business Bureau in CA and do all that I possibly can from NJ.

This is a fine way to darken my Holiday
Season. An envelope with two stupid syringes of whitening goop. The trial was enough for me. Unable to get through to cancel before this. Now a 89.99 charge for somthing that's worth pennies. Can't even get though to them now to cancel. I will be calling both my CC Companies to see which one I used and to dispute the charge. Also, calling better business bureau. I better get my money back. What a scam.

Hi, I am Alton Arnold and I ordered the luminous whitening kit thinking that I was only paying for the shipping and handling charge which was 4.99 only but when I got my credit card bill I saw a charge for 88.97, I was highly upset because not only the 88.97 was charged but I had a overlimit fee of $19.00 on my credit card so I would like to cancel my order of the upcoming shipment of the Luminous whitening and be reimbursed the $88.97 and the $19.00 to my capital One credit card.

I had all of the above happend to me also. I was charged the 88.97, but never received the product. Not only that, but the company is using the Crest name in their ads. See this one.

Free Crest Teeth Whitening Kit
Whiten Teeth up to 7 Shades. 14 Day Trial. Just $4.99 Shipping.

I am disputing with my bank and will bring it to our news station and attorney generals office. This company has to be stopped.

I too have been trying to receive a refund. I called and was told that I had to email my request for a refund to luminius brites. I emailed twice and got no response. I have been billed for $88.97 over a week ago and haven't even received the product thus far (not that I want it). I have had to have my bank get involved in this to dispute the charge. I thought I checked the trial offer over pretty thoroughly. They did a pretty good job of hiding the fact that you would be enrolled in this auto ship program. I am not getting stuck with this charge!

I hope my bank will work with me to make this right. All I can hope for at this point is to not be billed again by this company. If you think of how much money they get if they only scam one month's supply at $88.97 out of each person they bill - that's too much to even contemplate!

I work at a call center for Crest toothpaste and I've had several calls on this scam. For one thing ALWAYS read the fine print, I dont care if you don't feel like it but you always need to know what you are getting into. That having been said Luminous Brites is using the CREST name to sell their products, and Crest has nothing to do with this. In fact Luminous Brites are using the Crest name with out the company's clearance. That's just bad business. Crest now has an investigation going on about this. The fact that they put consumers on hold for a long period of time is also bad service on their part. We should not have people on hold for more than two minutes and if longer then we are trained to tell them it's going to be a little bit longer. Shame on that company for using the Crest name. Crest has nothing to do with charging 88.97. They are implicitly using the Crest name to generate business and that's despicable. I would call them and hold on to the phone for as long as possible and then I would report this to your credit card company. Crest would never use your credit card for samples of a teeth whitening system, only thing Crest is associated with is white strips and those people typically buy from the store. If anyone should buy from a website a crest product, crest will always tell you the final charge at the end of the transaction and they would come from various websites. It's just a shame to hear people telling me this.

I ordered the free sample and all of a sudden here is another package with a supply and a note saying they will charge my card 89.97 every thirty days. I am on a fixed income I cannot afford anything like that. I was under the impression that it was a thirty day supply and a free sample just the shipping charges for trying the product. This is the second time this month that this has happened to me. Why do you not make this clearer. The first 30 days is free after that it is not. I don't want it. Would you please cancel it. I will send the product back for a full refund. I need a return address if this is acceptable. I cannot get you on the phone.

I did not agree to receive this product every month. I only wanted to try it out. As it happens, I can't do that because I am in the "DO NOT USE IF" group which had I known, I would not have agreed to the "trial." Send me a return mailer and I will send it back. I would also like to have my money back, but based on the plethera of complaints, I'm thinkin' fat chance.

I can't even find the "cancel" website. Every effort lands me back here to read complaint after complaint. IO wonder if anybody answers at the phone number listed. If any more of this stuff comes here, I will refuse it and advise my credit card company of the problem if I am billed anyway.

This solicitation came in junk mail. I should have never opened it.

I, too, was scammed by this company the exact same way. I can't believe that a "bait and switch" operation like this is legally allowed to operate, but worse yet, Aquafresh Toothpaste is affiliated with this scam company as well. I used to use Aquafresh, but never again - I will never spend money again on a product that endorses a fraudulent companies like this one!

Hi,
My name is Vickie Jones, my address is 25432 Oak Leaf Road Laguna Hills, Ca 92653, and with this email you know my email address.
I wrote you about the so called membership you said I joined with your company and that you would be getting back to me within 24 hours and I still haven't received your retort. I did not intend or did I want to join any membership with your company. Your technique for this so called membership was very deceiving and underhanded. What a joke you used to collect unintended money. I only thought I was getting a free sample and that's it. I want you to credit my account back for the $89.97 you billed me. I received the first months membership package today. I'm going to return it to sender and I want you to credit me as I am not accepting your so called membership. I see by going on your web site I'm not the onlyone you scammed. Would you please reply to me as you said you would cause I'm on disability and I can't afford anything this un useful for this much money.
Please refund me,
Thanks, Vickie

I read the flyer and decided it was not for my liking when they clearly stated " . . . you have been enrolled in the 30 day continuity propgram in which you will receive a refill of Luminous Brites . . . for $88.97 every 30 days . " I did Not sign up for this " continuity program ". I therefore called their [protected] number and was told to go to their web site and state reasons for " Letter Refund ". So as a result of getting a run-a-round, I am requesting a "RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER" and authorizating my credit card company to stop payment, And notifing my attorneys of this grave unjustice, knowing that hundereds of citizens are taken advantage of.
Respectfully and Sincerly,

My complaints are simular to the others. This outfit is a scam ! If they notified me of their intents, they did it in such an unobtrusive way that I could not spot it.

Even if they did notify their customers, I question the legality of making an individual pay for something that they did not explicitlty order.

This may be a situati0n where a class action suit is in order!

I completely agree with all comments I have read and hope that you to post all these complaints to inform others and/or authorities who can file charges against this company of their fraudulent practices. Would a class action suit be appropriate? Pls help. Thanks

I did not order anything except my free trial. I got charged $88.97 a few weeks after I received my FREE trial. I only had to pay shipping and handling. I want my account credited for the $88.97. I didn't give any permission for them to charge me on my credit card.
