I found a necklace on Malabar gold and diamonds online. The price mentioned was 5.08 lacs. I don’t live in India therefore I enquired around 3PM in the evening over their online service. The customer help representative kept pushing me to make the payment I told him my parents will go to the store and I will pay online in their presence at the store. 4 hours later when my parents were done with office and finally got to office the customer care representative called me and told me the price has suddenly changed to 6.25 lacs. I felt mislead and cheated. Their “promise” on “transparency” is such a lie. They are misleading so bad that when my parents were at the store the guy whom the representative had asked us to speak increased the price to 6.5 lacs.
I was honestly stunned as to what is going on. I agree I loved the design but the simple way out was to not trust the guys at Malabar. Maybe they are misselling their products under the banner is 916 hallmark too. Anyways can’t speak of that but I feel these guys are misleading people grossly into believing that their price is genuinely the best.
Desired outcome: There should be a clear removal of the message on “transparency “
