I bought a new house with Casa Fresca on 05/01 and they hired Manasota Flooring to put in the fancy vinyl flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms. The flooring in the kitchen is coming up. I've been calling for the past 2 weeks but haven't heard anything from the company. They keep transferring me to a phone number where nobody picks up or returns my calls. I want to know about the warranty for the work they did because Casa Fresca says they're not responsible after 1 year and told me to call Manasota Flooring. I just want someone to get in touch with me and fix my floor.

In July , we hired Manasota Flooring, Inc. to remove our tiles and install new flooring. It took them quite a while to finish the job, and the installers they sent were not very good. Finally, they completed the work, but when we walked on the flooring, we noticed some movement. Unfortunately, it seems that the flooring is not level, causing it to split in a few places. We've been trying to reach out to our sales representative, Larry G., since April 12, 2022, to have the flooring fixed. However, he refuses to provide us with the contact information for the manager or owner. This morning, I called Larry again and left another message. We've spent a lot of money on this flooring, but Manasota Flooring doesn't seem to care about our complaints. It's frustrating and disappointing.
Grout and tile work not good
Grout and tile work not good. Had problems during warranty. Called many times, asked for manager to call me back. He never did. Master shower floor supposed to be level with main bathroom floor, but it's actually higher by 1/4 inch and 3 inches away from shower door. Water pools and goes into main bath floor. Grout turns black when wet, but repaired areas look nice and light beige. Grout in rest of house has different shades of beige, except for repaired spots which look nice and light beige. Shower door in bath 3 gets stuck on floor when opened.

This warranty thing is a problem, ya know?
This warranty thing is a problem, ya know? We bought some stone tile for our bathroom shower from the fancy design center for Medallion Homes, but now it's all cracked up and doesn't look like what we paid for. Medallion Homes is the big shot developer and they got the tile from Manasota flooring. So, the manager from Manasota flooring came to our place and said they ain't gonna replace it. I've been bugging the warranty manager from Medallion to give me a refund for the tile so I can get it replaced, but they ain't cooperating. And get this, the shower floor ain't even draining properly, and they just wanna replace one measly tile in the corner to fix it. That's gonna make the whole floor look even worse, I tell ya. I'll send ya some pics through email, so you can see for yourself. I want the whole shower floor fixed up or my money back for the tile. Thanks for your help in advance, ya hear?
Carpet was ordered in January for $2500
Carpet was ordered in January for $2500. We made a down payment of $1200 and scheduled the installation for March. However, the installer informed us that a moisture barrier was needed for the cement floor. We contacted Tom M., the salesperson from Manasota, to schedule the moisture barrier installation, but he never called us back. We then spoke to Rob P. from Manasota, who said he would schedule the moisture barrier installation. However, a week later, nothing had been done.
My wife called Tom multiple times and left messages, but he refused to call back. Frustrated, I decided to call him myself, and he answered without recognizing my number. He then informed me that we needed to pay an additional $235 for the moisture barrier, which was never mentioned before. My wife immediately made the payment, but a week later, there was still no progress. She called Tom several times again, but received no response.
At this point, I called Tom and threatened legal action. Finally, the moisture barrier was installed two days later. However, when we received the bill from Manasota, they had charged us $1545, including the cost of the carpet and the moisture barrier that we had already paid for. They refused to credit us for the moisture barrier payment.
Due to all the delays caused by Manasota, my wife had to reschedule her flight back to Michigan in order to be present for the carpet installation. This cost us an additional $400. The lack of assistance from the sales team at Manasota was unacceptable. This has been the worst experience we have had with a flooring company.
The floor installation ain't done right, ya know?
The floor installation ain't done right, ya know? Them tiles keep poppin' up and crackin', and Manasota Flooring, they promised a lifetime warranty but they don't even honor it. I bought a new crib from *** on 12/15, and the whole dang place got tiles installed by Manasota flooring. But guess what? Just two months later, tiles started poppin' up and crackin'. I called 'em at least four times to fix it, and they did fix a few spots where the tiles popped up. Then, on Feb 27, 2019, they gave me a letter sayin' we got a "Lifetime Floor Warranty." Scott K, the Chief Financial Officer, even signed it. But here's the thing, now we got even more tiles delaminatin' (the whole kitchen, man!) and the grout's crumblin'. I done left 'em like ten messages askin' for repairs, but they ain't returned my calls. They gave us that letter to make us feel better 'bout the quality of the installation and materials, but I just want Manasota Flooring to fix my floors or pay for the repairs so they're up to the quality I paid for.
We hired Manasota Flooring, Inc
We hired Manasota Flooring, Inc. to put pavers over our concrete by the pool. They came and checked out the area and talked to my husband about what we wanted. The first problem was when they delivered the pavers without telling us (we were actually out of town). The pavers just sat in our driveway for a whole week before they even started the project. They said it would only take a few days to a week to finish, but it ended up taking 5 and a half weeks. We had to keep calling, texting, and emailing to find out where the crew was. Crew 1 said they couldn't do the cuts by the spa and promised to send a specialist, but that person never showed up. We asked for a new crew, and they did finish the job, but the quality is terrible. The grout is a completely different color, the cuts don't line up, the grout lines are huge, and there are weird little slivers in random places. I called the day before they finished and talked to the Division Manager (Pat), but he wasn't helpful and didn't seem to care about our situation or that we're unhappy. Nobody has called to see how the job turned out or if we're satisfied. All they did was send us a bill. Now we have to hire another company and pay more money to fix their mistakes. We're so frustrated and don't want anyone else to go through this. We also don't want to pay the final bill or have them adjust it since we have to get it fixed.
On January 6, 2022, Manasota Flooring's demo guy took out a bathtub and removed tile around it
On January 6, 2022, Manasota Flooring's demo guy took out a bathtub and removed tile around it. He also removed tile in the master shower. There was a lot of damage to the master shower walls and the coriander that holds the shower glass above the knee wall and the mirror frame. When the installer started the bullnose in the master, it was gray instead of white like the shower tile. He said he was hired to do the job with the materials given to him and continued with the installation. He refused to wait for another corian rail or bullnose. When he finished the floor tile, it was gray and white in both bathrooms instead of white as ordered. Both floors have chips. I tried calling the salesman multiple times during all of this, but I didn't get any response except for an email saying that the bullnose was ordered and everything had been referred to supervisors. Then he said he was sick with COVID. Today is Feb. 2nd and we still can't use the master shower. The store supervisor visited on the 25th and said the materials would be in by the 28th, but he was off that day and said he would come on the 31st. He didn't show up or call. I have left many messages and text messages and talked to anyone who answered the phone at the Venice store or the Sarasota number. There has been no response. He is either busy, not there, or on another call an hour ago. I need help and I don't know what to do. Another salesman told me not to come to the store for alternate flooring because it might have been ordered. We have family coming soon and I am really upset about this service. The installer had a personal crisis and the salesman apparently quit last Friday. I would appreciate any help in resolving this issue.
I got my laminate floor installed by Manasota Flooring, Inc
I got my laminate floor installed by Manasota Flooring, Inc. on 2/25. Right after the installers left, I noticed scuff marks, scratches, and a hazy appearance on the floor. I tried to remove them myself but couldn't. I reached out to the salesperson who gave me a contact to complain. After making two phone calls to him, he finally responded on 3/3. He then passed on our number to the Carpet-Tile-Wood Specialist who scheduled an appointment for 3/10.
The specialist came and attempted to remove the scuff marks and haze. He informed me that it would take weeks to hear back about the claim. I left him a voicemail on 3/26 and he returned my call, saying that nothing had been done with the claim. On 4/1, he called to inform me that the claim had been accepted and asked me to choose a new floor. However, on 4/3, he called again and admitted his mistake, saying that the claim was not accepted after all. He made two more visits to try and clean the floor using acetone, while also taking videos and pictures.
On 5/11, he called to inform me that an independent contractor would be coming to inspect the floor. He claimed that this was part of the process, although he had never mentioned it during our three months of meetings and conversations. He refused to provide me with his supervisor's name. The independent inspector arrived on 5/13, and on 5/29, the claim was denied. According to the report, it was considered wear and tear. How can a laminate floor have wear and tear immediately after installation? Manasota Flooring suggested that we hire another contractor to inspect, but by then, we had already returned to Buffalo, NY. We had already spent $3700.00 on a floor that was supposed to be very durable. What kind of floor leaves marks just from walking on it? We were given the runaround for three months. The floor specialist kept assuring us that they stand by their products, which is why they have been in business for so long. He even claimed that the claim would be taken care of when we returned to Buffalo. In June , I sent letters to the supplier and manager at Manasota Flooring, but I never received any communication back.
