Audra luxury vinyl plank flooring
I originally had hardwood flooring, but after a water leak had to have it all removed. I went with vinyl plank flooring because supposedly of the ease of taking care of it. I had Mannington vinyl plank flooring installed and it is terrible. It scratches and has not held up at all. I contacted the company and they told me to just buff the scratches out. Didn’t work. Don’t spend your money on this product.
Adura max luxury vinyl tiles
We had these tiles installed in November 2019 in our kitchen, Laundry Room, Hallway, 1/2 bath, and entry foyer. Each of these areas are relatively small but the combined area was a significant investment. The installer purchased them from Kirby Flooring in Mechanicsburg, PA. He installed them perfectly. However, your product which was advertised and the Kirby salespeople talked up as scratch resistent has not lived up to that promise. In less than 1 year, we started noticing scratches in the flooring. We have had Ruby sliders on our chair legs for years to prevent any scratches. Kirby and the installer have both said the problem is in the product and they cannot help us. To make matters worse, Kirby's says the product locking system has changed and we would have to redo the whole project vice removing just the scratched tiles and replacing them. I sent a complaint to your customer service via your contact us program on 21 November but have not received a reply. We are extremely disappointed in tjhis product and hope that you will stand behind your claim on quality and replace our flooring. Please advise us on the next step.

Desired outcome: Refund so we can replace the tiles.
Laminate vinyl planks
We had our whole house installed after the sales rep said how durable this flooring is. Professional installation by Steve Ogden's carpet. Within 2 weeks, we noticed chipped planks. The installer came out and went to replace several planks and suggested that this looks like a manufacturer issue. After several months of getting nowhere, Mannington sent out an inspector. While in our home, he mentioned several issues with both the product and the install, although this was "unofficial". Needless to say, the claim was denied as 'Mannington's hired inspector' said nothing was wrong SURPRISE! Steve Ogdens came out and Facetimed with her local Mannington rep and will file an appeal. Mind you, this has been 7 months now. We've not been able to finish our remodel as these problems were noted right off the bat. We've been living in limbo very frustrated. Just 2 of us in our home so there's no wear and tear. The floor is beautiful but random chipping happens just by stepping. Hoping we don't cut ourselves on one of the 25 chips. This cost was >$10k so this is no small project. Husband has since head bandwrist surgery so he can't do anything.
Desired outcome: Mannington should honor their warrantee and provide customer service. They should replace our floor, including labor and clearing out all rooms, for absolutely no additional cost to the customer.
We put this expensive Luxury vinyl plank down almost 6 years ago. It supposedly has a limited lifetime warranty for residential. It has started to buckle on the ends, gap, and lift along the long click edges. This floor was nice for first 5 yrs. After 4 month of back and forth trying to get something done about the problem, Mannington states it is not a flooring defect! When asked for a copy of the inspection report, I was told that it is not policy to release that information. So, they won’t warranty the floor, nor will they tell me why it isn’t a warranty problem, or what caused the floor to do this. This flooring was over $7 a square foot and lasted just over 5 years! Garbage! I have $2/sq ft cheaper flooring on 2 other levels and it is far superior to the Adura Max. I will never use their product again and I will spread the word about their nonexistent warranty and customer service! I had cheap $.99 laminate that lasted 20 years prior to this inferior product. Stay away from Mannington.
We have had the same problem with our floors. It was installed in 2017 and started peeling up around the edges within two years. We contacted Mannington and they sent out an inspector. The inspector determined that there wasn't a problem with the floor even though the peeling was rather obvious. The peeling has gotten to the point that it has become a trip hazard. My wife and I are in our late seventies and have had major back surgeries, and we have to be extra careful to avoid these arias in order to prevent tripping. Mannington has not lived up to there claim and guarantees and I consider there claim of durability as false advertising. We cannot be the only ones with this problem and why someone has not started a class action law suit is beyond me?

Inability to follow through with an approved claim
We purchased engineered hardwood from Mannington in 2020, fast forward to 2021 and they are DESTROYED. We send in photos October 2021 and get the claim approved that they will fully replace the floors, material only. We reach out asking about labor, yes, labor will also be covered. There is no pricing included in what’s covered for labor, just reasonable labor is stated. We find a new contractor, move out of our house for 7 days (no, they didn’t pay for that) and told after everything that they will not fully cover the cost due to a pricing sheet not being followed that was never provided to us. When asked why it was not provided, the response was, “we do not share that information with the consumer.” Please help me understand if there is a rate sheet required to go by and the consumer would be responsible for anything outside of that rate sheet, why it would not be provided to the consumer? We are out over $1k and planning to take them to court but extremely disappointing seeing ALL the reviews on poor flooring quality, customer service and seeing that a company this size never does the right thing. The claim person we have dealt with has been absolutely horrible, takes forever to respond (over 5+ days for one email) and the retailer (Dalton WholeSale Floors) has been less than responsive as well. All around extremely disappointing experience and will never recommend them to anyone moving forward.
Desired outcome: Reimburse the remaining amount we as the consumer paid for out of pocket due to Mannington’s inability to communicate/provide a rate sheet
Mannington lvs gold lattice color elderberry
Purchased flooring from Sullivan and son in Hamden, CT. It was ordered on March 16. Later installed. It has probably been 4 months installed. Totally disappointed in this product. Floor looks filthy all the time. I was told how to clean it by it continues to look dirty. I would not recommend this product to anyone. There should be some recourse here.

Mannington Bengal Bay Engineered Hardwood
We have a flooring company installed Mannington Engineered Wood (Bengal Bay) to our first floor 7 months ago. After 7 months the floor start showing dents, scratching and marring. The wood has chipped off in some of the joints and looks awful. We contacted our installer. Initially they said they for sure will help with the claim. Claim was submitted (together with the samples they requested) and it took 8 weeks to hear from them. And they said there is no problem. They didn't even send an inspector to check the flooring which was put just 7 months ago. They don't care about their customers. Their customer service is very unprofessional as well. On top of their poor quality products, so utterly disappointed in the absolute lack of integrity and ownership of this company. Zero work ethics. Very disappointed.
Desired outcome: Fix, reimburse, taken care of
adura lvt flooring
Mannington does not stand behind their product in any way, shape or form. We strongly suggest consumers to research this company and stay away from purchasing their products.
We had a local contractor purchase and install Adura LVT in our home, this product had two different sheen's which made our flooring look like a quilt patchwork. A warranty claim was submitted and after threats of taking this to court an inspector was finally sent out... Mannington settled to replace 20% of the flooring and pay the installers a measly $500.00 to pull up and re-install the flooring.
We have now been fighting for a copy of the inspectors report as we were told we would get a copy at the time of inspection. Mannington has taken the stance of "get a court subpoena" as they cannot release the report do to an internal company policy. Must really want to hide what an independant inspector reported pretty bad.
So off to the BBB, Ontario Ombudsman's Office, Social Media, News and courts we go.
Stay away from this company!
luxury vinyl defective, poor customer service
We chose Mannington Luxury Vinyl through Floor Fashions because they are a "Mannington preferred dealer". When we visited Floor Fashions (every time) we were never approached to see if we had questions, or wanted to make a purchase. We always had to go locate someone. Very odd way to do business but I guess it works for them. We ordered flooring for two rooms and three closets and placed our order September 29. They came to install the flooring October 22. We moved the furniture out of the rooms / closets into our main living space to make way for the new flooring arrival. Once the installers arrived they got to work removing the carpet and prepping all floors. After the floors were striped and prepped they got to work laying the first room of flooring. They then moved to the second room and discovered the remaining vinyl was slit from end to end (the entire width of the vinyl) and could not be used. The installers contacted Floor Fashions and were told to bring the damaged flooring back, leave our room prepped (yes, furniture out in the main living area) and they would order replacement flooring. What a huge disappointment and inconvenience AND we had family coming in to visit for 2 weeks. There was no rush on our order and we were contacted for the followup install on November 6. Another 2 weeks. Floor Fashions set an arrival time but did not arrive at that time. We waited over an hour past the stated arrival time, called Floor Fashions and told them no one has arrived and we are leaving. Within a few minutes we received a call and a text that the individual installing the vinyl was on their way. It would have been nice for someone to contact us before they grossly missed the arrival time instead of waiting until we contacted them. Once at our home they realized the first installers did not cut and stain all the quarter round so this set of installers went out and picked up stain for the quarter round. The second install of quarter round does not even come close to matching the baseboard. Just another blemish on the install. Side note, when they stain and lay the quarter round they brush the quarter round against your walls and floors. Be sure to clean / remove all stain residue as soon as possible. The entire process from ordering to final install was just a miserable experience. When we see the beautiful flooring all it reminds us of is the "pain and suffering" endured at our expense. We inquired with Floor Fashions about an adjustment from Mannington due to their defective flooring causing us major inconvenience and Floor Fashions told us they would speak to their sales rep. Floor Fashions told us the Mannington sales rep would not adjust due to their defect but Floor Fashions would credit us $100. We called Mannington customer service. What a waste of time. They may be polite but they are useless. They can do nothing for the consumer. For us it appears they just sell products and turn their backs. My advice is buyer beware, the floor may be beautiful but if ANYTHING goes sideways, you are on your own, before, during and after the install. Definitely not worth the tradeoff.
vinyl plank flooring
Bought floor 9 years ago, paid $7, 000, was told top quality. Warranty for 20/30 years. Now floor is gapping in between each plank, consistently throughout house. I can't clean out the dirt in between each plank. I filed a claim, inspector came out, Mannnington told me the subfloor was unlevel and moisture. The professional installer would NOT have put the flooring down with moisture or the flooring being unlevel. mannington is passing the buck to the retail store that I bought it from, saying the installation was improperly done. Their warranty means nothing. They will find something wrong with your prior floor or installation to get out of warranty on their product. Beware - stay away from Mannington. Horrible service, no warranty whatsoever. I'm out $7, 000 and have to replace my flooring that should have lasted 20/30 years. Pathetic!
mannington newport driftwood gold # 100190
We installed flooring in our kitchen and are disappointed (extremely)and complained to both mannington and installer as we believed it was substandard product. We had no success. We are confident that it was not the proper product for a kitchen as it is
- too soft and cuts and tears far too easily
- impossible to clean
- so soft and "sticky" that you cannot slide a chair on it
- even the slightest "drop" of a sharp knife or fork leaves a cut.
Others in our community are also disappointed.
Contact me and discuss as I am prepared to access others to start legal action

luxury vinyl tile
Definitely wish that I had done more research and read these reviews prior to our purchase. We were told by our salesman how durable and pet friendly this product would be. Highly resistant to scratches, water proof and well worth the investment..we have had this flooring just over a year and highly disappointed! It is not scratch resistant as the company proclaims. It scratches easily! We have been very careful to take every precaution that Mannington recommends. Did not matter! And we do not have small children who could have accidents resulting in dings or scratches. The smallest of things impact this flooring. I contacted the company within two weeks to express my frustration. I received the flat, uninterested response, "sorry ma'am, this is not customary." No help or suggestions. I was told to read the information that came with the flooring. Seriously?! If you are thinking of this product or company, DON'T! Do not waste your hard earned money!
laminate flooring from mannington
we have had laminate flooring installed twice by Custom Floors of Butte, Montana, both installations the laminate boards have bubbled and lost the finish, Custom Floors submitted a complaint to Mannington, which Mannington rejected. Custom Floors installed the second floor at a cost to themselves. The material had to be flawed for this to happen twice.. We invested approximately $3300 dollars for the floor and installation, both materials did the same thing.
adura plank vinyl flooring
We had a whole house of Adure Solid lock vinyl plank flooring installed two years ago. The first year everything looked great then we started to see the planks pull away from the walls and large gaps opened up in some areas. Some of the gaps are as wide as two inches. Mannington did a very limited investigation (no one came and looked at the problem) and then washed their hands of it. Their warranty is worthless!
We installed the floor to make our home safer for my husband. He has severe mobility issues and carpet became a trip hazard, now the gaps in the floor are just as dangerous. The company refused all assistance even when I asked for a Mannington trained installer that we would pay to come fix the floors. They sent a list of retailers none of whom knew anything about installers trained to install this product.
I will not buy anything from this company again and I will mke it my mission to tell everyone looking for flooring about our miserable experience with this product and company.
3/1/2018
Bought Mannington Adura Plank floor in April 2018 for 2 bedrooms. We left Florida two weeks later putting up our hurricane shutters and Kevlar screen. The house was in complete darkness with the AC on. When we returned in November 2017, the floor had buckled and bubbled in places. I contacted Mannington and the store at which we purchased the floor. The store contacted Mannington sending them pictures of the damage and a piece of the flooring. They would not send a representative to inspect the damages. Instead, after two months, they send an email denying the claim stating " the claim is not a warranted condition" "Photographs provided show issue occurring is consistent with thermal expansion, lack of expansion or pinch points". They state based on a thorough investigation! The store pulled the Adura and their Mannington display from their store and through in the dumpster.
I would never buy another Mannington product!
Vinyl floors
The day of the installation, the floors had a residue that looked like they were dirty..
As im cleaning them, the residue would get worse and worse. ]
I called the company where i bought them and the sales rep Robert.
I did exactly what he & company told me to do & how to clean them..
The residue would get worse and worse..
I called him back and he was on vacation and did not return calls... for two weeks ...
The store where i purchased them recommended a floor cleaning company and they came over and spent 6 hours x 2 workers... $520 more dollars after spending $10, 000
The company could not believe or understand how these floors could be the way they were..
The Sales rep blamed everything, from the professional floor installers, to the puppy i got three weeks after my floors got installed to whatever he could think of..
Both times i had floor professionals look at the floors, thought it could be a manufacturing or packaging problem from where floors came.
to this date, my floors look dirty after cleaning... its horrible...
I have asked Mannington, to either clean them for me again until all residue has been removed and my floors look like they are weeks old, or replace them.
After 3-4 weeks, their is no resolution, other then dirty looking floors.. very disappointed!
Vinyl planks..
Mannington Vinyl Planks came with a residue that needs professional cleaning after you spend almost $8, 000 on product and installation..
Manningtons customer service and Coles fine flooring in San Diego where floors were purchased both washed their hands of the problem.
I now have to hire professional cleaners and pay $500 to $800 to have the residue and grime taken out..
Completely disappointed with this product.
Also, you step on floors and leaves footprints and residue in a clean environment... awful!
I purchased Mannington Vinyl flooring Product number AW522 in Nov. 2013. I immediately noticed planks starting to buckle all around edges. I emailed the company and they sent out one of their inspectors and after putting a needle like stick in one place next to a wall they said it was because the planks were installed to close to wall. I had the floors professionally installed so I had my installer come out and he pulled up the floor board in several places. It confirmed the floor was 1/4 inch from wall just like it was supposed to be. Since then I have continually complained as the floor is buckled in most of the 700 square ft. floor. We will have to replace floor when we have the finances. I would defiantly be interested in filing a class action suit.

Buyer BEWARE! Do NOT purchase this flooring! Also BE AWARE that the 25 year warranty means NOTHING! We had this floor professionally installed 5 months ago it now has spots bubbling up! We followed to the T the care directions of this flooring .
After Mannington had the flooring place come inspect the floor take pictures, and 2 planks for testing I was contacted today to be told they tested good? What a joke this place is why not take the bad pieces, and test them? I'll tell you why because then they would have to admit they have a problem!
I now have seen many of the same complaints on this flooring.
I would invite anybody interested in suing Mannington holding them responsible for their bad product & not honoring the warranty they give to contact me I'm looking into a class action law suit send e-mails to [protected]@yahoo.com if you're interested in holing them accountable!
Typo the floor was installed 09/15/2015
Our Mannington laminate plank floors were installed 2-3 years ago in family room, dining room and office and also bubbling along edges. I accepted responsibility for our small older male dog mishaps in 2-3 areas that were not cleaned up quickly. Reported to dealer, who created a claim with Mannington, after a contractor in our home for another issue thought this should not have happened. Local rep came with salesman and it was obvious that he made up his mind that I was cleaning the floor improperly. Photos taken not adequate so extra boards sent to Mannington for review "measured, cut, coped" and determined no manufacturing defect. No water used to simulate the problem. "If you read your warranty, only the finish is guaranteed." This floor was sold to us assuring us it will endure everything barring dishwasher or water heater leaks. We opted not to place in kitchen because we access our pool through the kitchen. I have bubbling at our edges where a little boy spilled a small amount of milk or juice that was cleaned up immediately and still bubbled. As I sit writing this comment I can see other very small areas that appear to be possibly resulting from wet paws from small dogs that enter through the sunroom over one rug and across a ceramic tile floor, up 2 steps, across a 12 inch threshold and then onto the laminate.
Thankful we did not install on our 2nd floor as planned.
Never Buy Any Flooring From This Company!
This company is one of the many in America that need to be shut down. In March of this year, I ordered vinyl flooring samples online from Mannington Mills, Inc. The orders are processed through a company called The Sample Store at www.mktalliance.com. Half of the samples I received were correct, but the other half were incorrect. My credit card was immediately charged for all samples sent, both correct and incorrect.
Later the same month, I repeatedly e-mailed Customer Care at Mannington Mills, Inc. and asked them to quickly resolve this simple matter. I requested that they either please send me the correct vinyl flooring samples, or credit my card for $41.50, to cover the cost of the incorrect samples. The company refused to do either, and their Customer Care representative was extremely rude and unprofessional in her communications.
I had the unfortunate experience of trying to get customer service from
Victoria Britt. Her office is located in Salem, New Jersey. She could care less about helping customers, and has zero customer service skills. She had no intentions of making anything right. The only thing she ever did was assign an asinine (and meaningless) claims reference number, then forward my legitimate request for help to the same dumb people who refused to send me the correct vinyl flooring samples I ordered online -- The Sample Store at www.mktalliance.com.
The Marketing Alliance Group, a sham of a global company, is located in Georgia and Tennessee. According to its Web site, it also has offices in China and India.
I also repeatedly tried calling both Mannington Mills, Inc. and Marketing Alliance Group, and both phone numbers were "supposedly" disconnected. I e-mailed Mannington Mills, Inc. via its corporate Web site.
No one ever followed up, despite all of the false claims about how they provide great customer service. In addition, all e-mails to the Marketing Alliance came back as undeliverable.
It is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable in this "global economy" that Mannington Mills, Inc. and the Marketing Alliance Group have nothing better to do than to condone credit card fraud and rip off honest customers who only want to get the vinyl flooring samples that they paid to receive. This matter could and should have been immediately resolved. It still can be resolved, if an employee would have the honesty and integrity to do the right thing and refund my money for samples that I never received.
It's obvious that both Mannington Mills, Inc. and the Marketing Alliance Group should be investigated and shut down, since they obviously don't want customers anyway. It's not complicated. It's called Doing Business the Right Way 101.
Buckling, warping
We purchased Mannington vinyl flooring for our beach house. We chose this product because we were told it would withstand water and sand. It was installed in June and by August it had buckled and warped in the living room, dining room and kitchen. We made a claim with Mannington, but they make it very difficult to file a claim (notably by asking that...

I wouldn't ever purchase or recommend this flooring or this company to anyone. We were on the hunt for flooring that would be durable and suitable for our family and dogs.We decided on June 2014 to purchase this flooring because 2 employees from 2 different Home Depots told us that the floor wouldn't scratch, that it is extremely durable and that it would last 10 + years. .We paid to have this flooring put in and not even 3 months after we noticed that a couple of the planks started peeling, we noticed scratches and our flooring was parting. We contacted Home Depot and we had to file a claim.Long story short we did all that was recommended of us(fill out claim, submit pics, receipt & supply samples) and the co. Decided that we had no claim. We spent all of this money for all of the flooring and paid to have it put in.You tell us that nothing is wrong. What makes it so bad is that everyone that comes into our home sees this when they walk in.We take pride in our home and now we are so embarrassed to even have people over. The company was unapologetic about this, didn't even offer us any solutions to fix the problems. We were told that "we need to cut our dogs nails."I can't seem to figure out how the company says "commitment to quality, customer satisfaction and the environment."
Vinyl tiles
We had problems with our vinyl tile floor, 2 months after installation. The floor is lifting and bulging, it is also cracking in several places. Mannington will not stand behind their warranty. They said the sun is the problem not their product. Really? So I can't have my doors or curtains open, because their floor can't take the heat? Then I would say that is a product problem. But Mannington doesn't think so. Avoid wasting thousands on a crappy product. Stay away from Mannington Floors.
