Great place for specimen rocks and minerals, jewelry supplies, lapidary equipment, rough rocks and slabs. Knowledgable staff and great prices. They have a few different payment options, and offer shipping too. Dont forget the many dinosaurs they have in store that you can rent for events too. If you go to their store for the first time, give yourself plenty of time to look around. You definitely will be in there a while because theres so much to look at.

I love this place! There really is something for everyone! If you are a serious rockhound, you can find lovely things ready-made, or you can find all the material and tools you might need to make them yourself. For all ages, all price ranges! Even though I have been an enthusiastic rock collector all of my life, I still find rocks that I did not know about. Lois and Mark are very knowledgeable and helpful! And if you are looking for something they do NOT have for some obscure reason, they will do their best to hunt it down for you! And then there are also fossils, and couldn't possibly leave out the animated almost life-sized dinosaurs around the place!
