I have Bought A jeans from Massimo dutti which later on i didnt like the fit so as per the store rule i had to return within 7 days and i took the jeans on the 4th day from the day i purchased. the store manager of massimo dutti in bahrain was very rude and refused to return my money back saying it was worn and it had wrinkles on the jeans! obviously i had to wear it to see if it fits me right! rediculous service ! i am never going to that store ever i had a very unfair treatment
The managers in Bahrain (massimo) are the nicest staff out of all the other shops in Bahrain. When i had problems with the clothing tattered or exchange, they are extremely nice and happy to help out. Never ever disappointed. Unfortunally i have met many customers in bahrain over hearing them in other shops too, that they require money back which there isn't such thing. The rules show, exchange within 7days and no refund. The customers always complains, ask for alot and unfortunally when customers complain in Bahrain, they get away with it. Trust me, i'm an outgoing person, see and hear this alot. Sometimes i want to slap them in the face for being rude. The rudest staff i have ever known are the Oasis and Desigal in Bahrain. I don't care about them. If i want something, i go in buy it and walk out without a hello or thank you. Treat people like they treat you. But well done to the staff of Massimo. Love you all!
I totally agree with this customer's opinion.I brought an item of jewellery back to Massimo Dutti's store in Covent Garden London today and showed them the damage which had occurred when I tried to put on the item for only the 3rd time since I'd bought it two years ago. They refused a refund on the basis that I had bought the item 'a long time ago' and shouldn't expect a refund after 2 years. Instead I was told that I would be offered another item by way of exchange despite my statutory rights stating that I'm entitled to a full refund of money paid. So, is Massimo Dutti's company policy that its jewellery and other non-perishable items should last less than two years? This item of jewellery was heavy and solid, therefore the sort of item which should be fit for the purpose of indefinite wear. So, not fit for the purpose means I should be entitled to receive a refund for what turned out to be defective, poor quality goods. I have been a long-standing customer of Massimo Dutti's, now I don't propose to shop there again. Adios.
Dear Respected,
Kinly note that i bought a chimise from massimo egypt 'cairo festival city branch' after washing this item with cold water 'manually' before the first wear finally i found some pieces of this chimise color changed,
I took the chimise back to your branch the branch manager was not helpfull at all and he deal with the issue as a normal thing and he took the chimise and gave me a number and he informed me that i will recive a call in the next day but nothing done i did not get any feedback,
How come from a brand like massimo they miss thier promise or even try to handle me
Note: i bought in the last 14 month with 15000 LE i didnt expect such this bad service and miss promising in my first issue
Yes, I am back on ranting about Massimo Dutti again! So as
you all know, I apparently pull up my trousers the 'wrong' way which led to a
relatively new pair of trousers to rip on the side. When going to the store to
return/exchange them the store manager told me that I had 'pulled' them up the
wrong way and as I had used the trousers (well,
hello!) I was not eligible to a refund or an exchange. I would say I was
not a happy customer leaving the store as I have never heard that there is a
special way in pulling up trousers..where is the instruction book pleeeease!
After multiple stalking on their FB site (friends…you know my stalking mode!), I
finally got an email to their Contact email explaining that I disagreed with
the assessment of the store manager. Provided a nice explanation with photos of
the trousers and receipt (yes I know…was
in that mood)
. Their response to my email was – ‘to check with the store
manager’.
I then went back to FB site who then gave me a telephone
number which ofcourse I called. Their response was that it was also up to the
store manager to make the call.
So, now I am even more frustrated as yes, it is only a pair
of trousers however, I don´t believe you can treat customers like that and I
truly believe in customer service. When you buy a product, you not only buy the
item but also the whole package -how you will be treated in the store and if it
is flawed. So…as the Massimo Dutti package is flawed, I will never buy from
them again and suggest to all of you never to do so as well.
I would usually never put something up like this but I
seem to have reached a wall in their communications machinery. And finally, if
you already own a pair of Massimo Dutti trousers...don´t forget to pull them up
the 'right' way...
Experienced the same with their return and exchange policy in their King's Road London shop. Will definitely think twice before buying anything else from them.
Dear fellow customers,
A few weeks ago, I ordered a tie from Massimo Dutti's US online store I intended to give to my father for christmas. I ordered it with 13 days forward planning, and the when it had not arrived the day before christmas, naturally I became quite nervous that I would not receive it in time for Christmas. Frankly, it did not, nor did it arrive the 26th, which I was told it would when I called and complained to their customer service. So the result was that my father did not get his gift for christmas, though this is obviously a first world problem, I would still expect a major brand to deliver at least nearly on time. Now it is the 28th of December and it is yet to arrive. I would highly dissuade you from buying anything from their online store if you are short on time or/and want to be treated fairly as a customer.
Happy Holidays!
/A dissatisfied customer
I am writing to you to complain about one of your branch manager’s attitude and the quality of your product.
I have bought one black long boot from your branch at Dubai outlet mall on Dec. 14, 2015, and in the second time I wore the said boot, the zipper is being open by itself. However, the boot size and model is perfect for me. Such quality was not expected from a big and reputed brand like “Massimo Dutti” and for the same reason I didn’t keep the receipt. However, I have the details on my mobile message mentioning the amount, date and the shop name.
On Dec. 26, 2015 I went to the same branch to claim for the above, I didn’t request to refund the money as I like the boot, I only requested either to fix the zipper or to replace the boot by another one same model but unfortunately I have met the branch manager who was not cooperative and does not show any care or respect to her customer as below described:
• Doesn’t want to listen; only requesting the receipt mentioning that she can’t assist me. (I don’t keep the receipt because I was not planning to change it and was not expecting such quality from Massimo Dutti. However, since I paid with my master card I have all the details on my mobile but she doesn’t want even to see it).
• Mentioning it is outlet branch not a mall branch. (I believe it is also Massimo Dutti not other shop or different brand).
• Cannot know that it is from Massimo Dutti shop. (It is graved & written on the boot itself. It’s a shame for not knowing her product).
This is in addition to the unacceptable attitude.
