i purchased the ebay magic program which is a how to program to setting up a home business on ebay sold on mass by Matt and Amanda Clarkson, I got their VERY EXPENSIVE program expecting something amazing, and boy what rubbish... common sense would have served me. and went through it and I feel like i just throw my money down the toilet. very, very dissapointed.
what pisses me off is that their marketing is really pushy and they really push you to buy, only the product is not up to it when you consider what you pay. disgusted!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have to laugh at the people complaining here, that the program is a rip off, yadda yadda yadda. Do you know of a business that you can set up for a few thousand dollars? Where you get help along the way and instructions on how to go about it? Of course they're not going to detail what products you should be selling, that's up to you to work out for yourself! My god, they're not going to do ALL the hard work for you. It's the same with anything in life, if you want to be successful, you have to put in the effort. If you don't want to put in the effort, or suffer from "tall poppy syndrome", you'll whinge and whine and expect everything to be done for you. You'll knock others down when it doesn't work for you, when in all likelihood, it's your fault it didn't work. Whether selling on ebay isn't for you, or you didn't do enough research, or you didn't find a product that there is enough demand for.
The attitude of people who fail at these programs and complain long and loud about it, shows exactly why it didn't work for them in the first place. Take personal responsibility that you failed at the program either because you didn't follow the steps, or didn't put in enough hard work, or it wasn't for you. Don't knock people down who are successfully following the steps and making it work.
Why, (if these people are so successful with Matt & Amanda's course) are they wasting their time justifing how good the course is?
If you are successful, you would not even be looking at the scam side of things...
BTW, do not invest in their Franchise...
Keep your $70k (now discounted back to $50k) in your own bank, not theirs...
Far better in your own pocket, than theirs.
Why? Because you get promised the world and they deliver JACK...
You will get lots of Leads from the red hot lead generating machine.
NOT, they keep the majority of them, in house. (till they have had a crack first.)
THEN...you might get a second crack at them..
Leads from your area passed on to you..
NOT...Unlucky, they fell through the cracks in the system...
Which by the way,
they turn off by Monday or Tuesday lunchtime,
as they are getting killed in the rush to buy their course.
Why would you pay so much money for information that you can get for free from the eBay community simply by posting your questions on the Ask A Member discussion board?
All eBay members have access to the community boards. If you spend a few days reading the questions and responses you will develop an understanding of what issues you might face and advice on how to deal with it.
Becoming an eBay PowerSeller is easier since they changed the requirements. As a PowerSeller you will have access to a board visited by serious sellers who are also happy to share advice and support at no charge.
I have to say that I don't know anyone who posts on the PowerSeller board who claims to have done a course with Matt and Amanda.
I agree completely with the post above.
I have been selling on eBay now for just over 2 years. I have a feedback total of just under 2k. I didn't do a course to get where I am. Admittedly, I bought the business I am in now, from an ex-eBayer, who had their own eBay ID with nearly 6k feedback total and making $3k per month just from eBay Sales.
Nowadays, I concentrate more on my website sales, with eBay only accounting for about 10-15% of my overall business.
The majority of my eBay Smarts has coem from spending some time on the variuos Discussion Boards eBay have available. I was eligible for eBay Powerseller after only 3 months of selling, but did not join for several months later, as I did not consider myself anything more than just a 'part-time' seller, until I discovered that I could do better.
I have to laught at those on here defending 'Matt & Amanda' adn their 'practices' and 'tactics'. For one, M&A are NOT selling you or setting you up in a business. They are professional motivational speakers, hyping you up on the opportunities that MAY exist for SOME eBay sellers. eBay is NOT for everyone, nor does EVERYONE that follows their 'lead' succeed on eBay. I think that even at $1k, it is a scam - specifically targetting vulnerable people in well-known socio-economic categories.
I can only admire them for the fact that they have made a fortune selling something that is readily availble to anyone that opens their eyes and gets off their backsides. I do not admire them for the methods used.
I suspect that a lot of the 'pro' comments have been posted by 'stooges'. I have spent a whole day researching this product on the internet and there is considerable information suggesting that it is a load of rubbish. Just remember folks, if someone really holds the secret to riches, why on earth would they share it with you...
People in Australia should be getting in contact with A Current Affair and let me know what is going on if there is serious issues. They may decide to do a story but only if enough people contact them.
Never should anyone be paying more than $1K for information on how to sell on Ebay. If you pay what Matt and Amanda course costs-you are ripping yourself off. Dont get caught up in the hype. Do your own research on the internet and buy small information products that could help you along the way.
BTW, I went to their very first presention in QLD a number of years ago where they had only been selling on ebay for around 3 months and I didnt buy then and havent brought since. I didnt think much of their information or presentation style and certainly saw warning signs of people who were selling a $2K course and only been on Ebay for 3 months selling one type of product. That was enough warning for me.
Correct me if I am wrong, but to be successful on ebay you only need to find the right product at the right price to sell. That means research you will have to do-nothing Matt and Amanda can help you with. They can only point you to resources that may or may not help you.
After all, as far as I am aware, their only success on Ebay has been importing Fitness equipment from China and that's it.
Again for people who wish to take this further, go to the ACCC or ACA.
***********WARNING**********WARNING*********WARNING***********WARNING****************WARNING*************
I brought their course about 12months ago and I have since managed to build a great eBay business. However, was it worth what I paid? Ummm NO!
Was very basic and repeated the same stuff over and over. Although it does have good content its nothing special (you could find the same info else where on the internet for a lot cheaper price). I mainly brought the product because they TALKED up the support and mentoring your given. WHAT A JOKE PEOPLE!
You have to ring and make an appointment to speak to someone...then you put it in an email and send through your topic of discussion...then they rush you off the phone when your time is up (I swear they have a stop watch) and you end up confused and not sure what to do!
I ended up going through eBay's help pages and most of my success came from trial and error. Thank goodness I didn't do the whole JV thing! I went with my friend and her husband to the workshop (brain washing seminar) thing they do...gets you all hyped up and in a sales bubble (boy does it burst when you get home!).
They spent 20k and haven't even made back $2000 in the past 6mths (they are starting to panic because they only have 6mths left of support) Yep 20k and they only support you for 1yr! WHAT A JOKE!
Does anyone know someone or have a franchise?
I think an above comment was to do with the franchise... Not surprised that it’s all doom and gloom. Probably just more false promises delivered by Matthew and Amanda Clarkson and that other guy Darren Stephens. Would love to know if it’s been a success or if it’s just another attempt to grab some cash?
Hi To all
I have the course and if anybody wishes to purchase it from me, they can. You do learn a lot and can make money but you need time and patience. I spent over $6000 AUD on the course. I am willing to sell it back for half of that or make me an offer.
My email is micsam2106@gmail.com
Bidding Buzz is doing heave marketing at the moment and I responded. I have been receiving the slick phone calls and package. I guess I found this site as I had enough knowledge to investigate the course. As a former lecturer in marketing and business: heres a couple of tips: The course is worth between $10 and $10, 000. Don't pay $10000 for something and discover it is worth $10. If you are not sure never commit. Always walk away and think through issues.
Here's a hot tip, NEVER buy over the phone if they wont send you info in mail OR say it is for today only: they are most likely lying. Never buy under pressure! better to walk away, think, and f needs be, pay for the basic course again to get the "special short time offer". Please use consumer affairs / little black book of scams etc.
Yes good info is available free on internet (as is usually the case for most marketed products) Heres a tip, you don't need to buy a book if you can read a comprehensive review that gives you the outline and guts of the book.
I bought the $1000 course almost a year ago, after seeing the article on A Current Affair. At the time there was NO negative comments regarding this course, believe me I searched the web for days, before deciding to buy.
BIG MISTAKE! What a total waste of money, I agree with others, there is NO REAL information on these DVDs. I have been selling/buying on ebay for about 8 years, just things from home I wanted to sell, nothing major, and wanted to gain more information on turning that into a proffessional ebay business. What a joke. Its all common sense and information you could gain through ebay forums.
I even signed up to Terrapeak, for about 6mths, to research niche markets, and their website gives you no better information than ebay's site, by just looking at completed items, you can gain similar information FOR FREE! I spent $1000 against my partners better judgement, put it onto credit card because we do not have that sort of money spare, we live pay day to pay day, with 3 children. I am a stay at home mum, and was pregnant at the time, wanting to find a way for us to increase our income. I emailed them stating I wanted a refund, had had a miscarriage, and paying that sort of money, was not money we could afford to waste, and they phoned and stated that they didnt refund because you change your mind (well, why wouldnt you change your mind after viewing crap dvds with extremely poor quality, the audio was horrendous, with information that is so completely useless!) and the guy stated I could UPGRADE my package to receive personal help over the phone. I explained to this [censor] that I wanted my money back because we couldnt AFFORD to waste our money, not give them any MORE!
I am forwarding on my complaints to A Current Affair, now that I have read so many other people have complained. I guess we all get conned at least once in a lifetime, and I thought that I was smarter than that :(
Please everyone else, forward your complaints to ACA also, after all, they did the article on these people in the first place. Actually, I will also forward my complaints to Today Tonight, they would probably jump at the chance to do an expose on something that was originally endorsed by the opposition!
Dissapointed
I would like to thank all who have taken the time to add comments here. I watched a dvd of a seminar in the UK, I think the seminar had taken place in 2008. Anyway to cut a long story short, I watched M&A do their impressive sales pitch on the stage and decided to have a look on the net for where I could get their course. How fortunate that the first place I dropped upon was here. I have read through every post on here and have to say that, even at the age of 64 (you think that you may have been around long enough to be scam proof) I may well have been taken in by their selling performance. I have never been to Australia, but I had this perception about ‘Aussies’ being down to earth and telling it ‘how it is’. Suppose there are good and bad everywhere. Thank again to all.
We bought the JV program. We sold items around the house and got up to 100 sales and 100% buyer satisfaction. WE found that all of their previous JV's already had the best products for sale, and no matter which item we researched and talked with their staff about, another JV was already selling that item. We went thru about 30-35 different items that we were not allowed to sell, well, at least not with their help, anyway. ..because these items were already being sold by another of their "JV" partners. Over-saturation is the keyword here.
The weekend that we bought our JV program for $17, 000, there were at least 100 other buyers in the room just like us. They told us they were only going to pick 15-20 JV's to work with. Yea, right... I do not really believe this... 100 multiplied by $17, 000 is $1.7 million.
They may have sold $50, 000 worth of ebay items per month...but with a 30-35% profit margin, this equates to only $17, 500 per month... nowhere near their $50, 000 per month in sales. $4, 000+ per week is not a bad average, but nowhere near the profit for selling "air" on a three day weekend "seminar" where they make 1.7 million in almost pure profit by selling JV "opportunities." (We, as fools, can agree with the adage that "a fool and his money are soon parted!"
Matt and Amanda finally found a way to put themselves on top by taking advantage of the gullibility of everyone else... GOOD JOB...!
Matt and Amanda Clarkson are two greedy and scrupulous individuals that have NO conscious but ripping off people with their high priced eBay magic courses that are the lowest of all ebay course material I have ever come across!
And I am not surprised that people getting sucked in by this hype when M+A appear on the Kerrie Show and the like. When I listen Kerri Ann speak, it is as if I am back to this 3 day workshop at the Gold Coast when people think they can sell their Grandma's rubbish with a few button clicks and become millionaires. Nothing against Kerri Ann. But her 'rudimentary' (almost silly) questions let me deduce that she has absolutely NO idea whatsoever what ebay and online trading is all about. However, because she is a well respected tv personality why should anyone expect from her getting into nitty-griddy with bidding buzz? It is all about her status of course that let M+A look like serious and acknowledged people promoting a high quality product. Apologies, but to me this is a just loads of crap! I wouldnt be surprised if M+A actually paid Kerri Ann to do this interview.
Also, by watching Bidding Buzz' Franchise clip I could hardly contain myself! I mean, what sort of business is that, promoting expensive but rubbish eBay courses and ripping other people off? On top of that, one needs to fork out A$50, 000 for the licence fee to do that. I wouldnt be able to look myself in the mirror. Funny also how M+A show off their good way of life driving off in their Ferrari and making people believe they can do the same. If I see any business promotion like that, I know I need to steer clear ahead. Anyone who has an understanding of Franchises knows that an investment between A$50, 000 and A$70, 000 is not gonna get you more than a job! The average franchisee usually expects in their 1-2nd year a return of 1/3 of the initial investment. Do the math that this is no more than an average job. So, why bother?
ANYONE WHO FEELS TEMPTED TO SIGN UP FOR MATT AND AMANDA CLARKSON'S EBAY MAGIC COURSE, .. THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU THROW YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AT THESE GREEDY SELFISH PEOPLE. THEIR COURSES ARE RUBBISH AND OF ABSOLUTE LOW QUALITY. SAVE YOUR THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND BUY AN EBAY BOOK THAT MAY ONLY COST YOU A HUNDRED DOLLARS!
I agree, course is not worth the money. I have found much better information for free or under $200. My advise stay away from bidding buzz, and spend no more than $500 on education. As someone who has a successful Ebay busines, I can tell where to go and how to get started. Check out Auctiva for your template, terapeak for research and Salehoo for suppliers. If you want help with copywriting, google it, go to bookstore or go to the library. In relation to suppliers dont believe that bidding buzz will help you they wont. in relation to copywriting, you get a basic template thats it. The mentoring calls are a rip off as simple as that. I havent even bothered using all 3 calls as they are a waste of time and money, you have to pay for call (ringing from interstate).
Wow! There's a lot of heated comments on here. I've ben thinking of buying into this program and have been soured by the unhappy customer's of Bidding Buzz.
Has anyone actually gone to Queensland's Consumer Authorities? Not being an Australian citizen, I'm not sure what your process is there. But surely if it breaches Queensland's Fair Trading Act then your Consumer Authorities would surely enforce a refund of the package.
Has anyone in Australia done this? What success have you had -if any?
I recently reviewed one of their books "The Magic of Making Money on eBay" on my website http://quickneed.com/magic-of-making-money-on-ebay-matt-and-amanda-clarkson-review/.
If you don't have time to read the full review yourself, I will point out that their book is primarily targeted at an audience who has never used eBay before. They do discuss more technical details that are useful to intermediate users from about chapter 7 onwards, but if you are somewhat comfortable and experienced at using eBay then you may find that they don't help.
One of the biggest problems with this course is that SO many other people are doing the EXACT same thing. With such high competition, it is very difficult to become successful (unless of course you offer something drastic enough to differentiate you as a seller).
They are on the borderlines of so many eBay and online entrepreneurs - selling their own home grown products at outrageous prices with results that are rather questionable. Most people don't put the time and effort in, despite their best intentions. Even with hard work, it can be hard to have a decently high ROI. When this occurs, people often complain and generate the idea of scams.
If it helps, my website www.quickneed.com is devoted to reviewing products and seminars on making money online, along with saving and spending efficiently and effectively. If you want me to do some research or provide a review on any particular product, just contact me on the Contact page.
http://stores.ebay.com.au/Big-Dollar-Discounts - exercise equipment - between $5 and $100
This is their ebay page. This is what they sell. You work out if that is enough to subsidise their lifestyle and if the margins are anything compared to the $4000 course or $20000 course they also sell.
I agree with the poster who said the window of opportunity is closing on eBay. The market is saturated and this is great for the consumer, but not the seller.
Who makes the money in a goldrush ? The person selling shovels.
Hi guys,
I agree and disagree with most peoples comments.
Yes the ebay course is targeted at the typical mums and dads and can infact earn some extra cash on the side. It is also targeted for the big players also. The thing is for people who are wanting to be the big player they do not BOLD the point that to earn 50K per month you need to be importing high ticket items from China or other exporting countries. Now, as commented last they sell exercise equipment.. A few years ago this equipment was a goldmine on ebay hence the big cashflow of 50K per year and hence the success in telling there story etc... I mean, if you import a 20 or 40 foot container from china you can get these same exercise equiptment for around $40 - $50 per unit(depending on the machine). Now if they auctioned one of these off everyday and ended at 7pm and sold for $200+ at the min thats $150+ profit per day x 7 days is over $1000 for simply 1 product. Now, have 10 - 15 products on the run at auction everyday making $100+ profit a day... you do the maths...
Now to make this kind of money you do require alot of money as I know for a fact these guys had a 50K contract with an overseas factory probably manufacturing exercise equipment.
Now one last thing they don't actually tell you... the 50K per month is actually the total sales... factor in ebay fees, listing and final value fees, paypal fees, monthly store fees and warehouse storage fees (which can be from $400 - $800 per month depending on space required) and not to mention the biggest factor "INITIAL PRODUCT COSTS" (Remember you need to factor in what you payed for the product) profits are not actually $50K in the end... Most ebayers would be happy if they received 30% of the 50K which is still quite large being $10 - $15K per month in the pocket.
Finding HOT products is very easy to do as long as you know "HOW"... It is built on the most simple principle "high demand, low competition". If you find a product that can clearly show you people are buying the product but only 1 or 2 people are selling it... presto...you can just in and start selling. Remember this point though, every product has its own life cycle. Make sure you constantly find new hot products for the time when your existing hot products life cycle comes to an end.
Anyway, I hope this cleared a few things up for some people and can decide to buy or not to buy the course based on how you feel. Yes the course is expensive, yes it has alot of information most regular/advanced ebay sellers already know, yes it has all the information you need to start your ebay business if you don't have a clue how or never started on, yes it can make you alot of money, yes it can make you a little money and yes you do need to put in alot of work at the beginning to make it work. There is no right or wrong just "action" and what you want to achieve out of this (either some pocket money or triple your current income). Either option can definitely be achieved as long as it suits you and your needs and your willingness to make it happen (it doesn't happen overnight by a long shot).
I agree with all the people that have bought this program and think it SUCKS. I was stupid enough to buy the $4, 000 pack only to find that its a whole lot of rubbish. Once you purchase that pack they want nothing at all to do with you. All the help they say their going to give you ...all lies. They won't have a thing to do with you. They trained their staff to lie just so they have another $4, 000 in their pocket and dare not ask for a refund, they cut you off real soon. Ebay has cost me so much money with their fees and changes but Matt and Amanda don't tell you any of that. Plus thier $49.00 MEMBERSHIP FEE every month, its a joke. Before all those people praise Matt and Amanda buy their pack and tell me if you think their still nice people.
Wish I had read all this first and saved myself $4000
Hi everyone,
I found this post because I attended Matt and Amanda's seminar last night. I agree that the whole 2 and a 1/2 hours was a sales pitch.
You should know this - I recently attended a different seminar where the speakers were very honest that the only way to make "BIG" money is to become an "expert" in a niche market and then to hold seminars and workshops in order to get people to sign up to your course and/or mentoring program. They teach you sales techniques, presentation techniques and emotional manipulation techniques, all of which I saw used last night. Matt and Amanda's real business is getting the average Joe to sign up to their course or mentoring program - this is where the "big" money is made.
What I do recommend, is not giving up hope on all online marketing seminars as there are often gold nuggets of information that are shared BUT NEVER hand over your hard earned cash for anything on the day, go home do you diligent Google research on the course that you are going to spend your cash on, as there are often posts like this one, that shed a lot of light and what is truly been offered.
I do have 3 questions after dedicating 2 and a 1/2 hours of my life last night and coming away with no insights. If anyone can answer the questions below I would be very grateful.
1. I was interested in their "Virtual Rolodex of Industry Experts" can anyone shed any light on what this included?
2. Also, what is there "tool to find hot untapped markets" is there anything revolutionary here?
3. One last question, what is learned from the video "How to access over 8, 000, 000 name brand products?
Lastly, I agree that this industry desperately needs to be strongly regulated. Good luck to everyone, I hope that you are successful!
I've got to hand it to Matt and Amanda Clarkson of BIDDING BUZZ fame, they really are living the "dream" life but sadly at the expensive of the average Joe!
Yes...I've purchased their Ultimate EBAY MAGIC course at a hideous cost of almost $6, 000, I've been to their 3 day seminar/sales pitch, I've talked to the "kids" they hire to mentor you in their ebay business and I've invested hundreds of hours going through their manuals, DVD's and researching products.
The result...I have sold a few hundred items on ebay over the last year across a couple of ebay shops, I even made "power seller" in one shop BUT after all this effort, research, hours of writing copy and descriptions, photographing products etc etc that goes with running an ebay shop I have not even covered the cost of the course yet!
Matt and Amanda Clarkson are HIGHLY trained and skilled Salespeople...they have invested thousands and thousands of their own money on their personal "education" learning how to EXTRACT the hard earned money of average people looking to create a better life for themselves and their families.
My advice would be to SAVE your money - there are plenty of other ways to learn how to sell using online auction formats. I found the most helpful and useful tips came from altruistic people that produce monthly newsletters, from the Ebay site itself, from simple magazines in the Newsagents such as EBAYLife (cost $9.95)... despite the fact that Matt and Amanda Clarkson and their good friend Darren Stephens are plastered all over the inside of this publication it does provide some good up to date tips, tricks and stories.
REMEMBER...Matt and Amanda Clarkson have amassed the bulk of their fortune through selling their courses and joint venture (JV) programs. If they were making their fortune by simply selling products on ebay then WHY would they bother setting up staffed offices, conducting weekend seminars, travelling the country doing their "recruiting" seminars etc etc.
Use your COMMON sense and do your research before forking out thousands of dollars - selling on EBAY is not hard and there are many, many successful people selling that have never done an ebay course in their life!
To anwer Sarah_P questions above:
I do have 3 questions after dedicating 2 and a 1/2 hours of my life last night and coming away with no insights. If anyone can answer the questions below I would be very grateful.
1. I was interested in their "Virtual Rolodex of Industry Experts" can anyone shed any light on what this included?...These are people who are "friends" of the Clarkson's that also sell courses in various areas such as copy writing, overcoming your personal blocks to wealth creation, motivational experts etc, etc.
2. Also, what is there "tool to find hot untapped markets" is there anything revolutionary here? ...this is TERAPEAK but there are other ways to find products that sell well on Ebay without having to pay hundreds of dollars a year for this service.
3. One last question, what is learned from the video "How to access over 8, 000, 000 name brand products? ...Not much especially if you have no desire to get involved in the whole dropshipping and import sector. I'd say this is referring to the site "World Wide Brands" where you pay an expensive membership in order to access wholesalers and dropshippers.
So...hope this has been helpful. Selling on ebay is a great way to earn a few extra dollars or to supplement your families income but please be realistic and use some common sense before paying out thousands of dollars ( I certainly wish I had taken my own advice). Don't expect MAGIC because it doesn't really happen with Matt and Amanda Clarkson's EBAY MAGIC course.
God works in mysterious ways. Perhaps the blessing you have received is in the thousands of dollars you have saved by not being fooled into paying for information that is freely available. Truly successful business people either guard their secrets to making money, or openly share them. Everything you need to know about selling on ebay is out there in the public domain. There are no shortcuts to wealth. No easy ways out. If you want to build an ebay business start now, following the online tutorial and by reading the forums. Never pay upfront for a 'business' opportunity. Build your own.
thanks andrew "providence" b.
First things first, I added these Bidding Buzz wankers on Facebook and saw they were announcing a highly successful "Bidding Buzz student" (as Matt and Amanda would say.." that makes 1.4 mio on eBay by having studied and applied their course. Somebody then commented and asked how he was doing that? Matt then of course immediately posted a reply saying that you need to buy more Bidding Buzz training material/courses to know this! Well, I thought what a [censor]ing jerk! I basically then commented back, to make this amount of money (whether it is eBay or any other platform), you simply need to ask yourself two questions only: what products is he selling that can generate such high revenue and to whom. Full stop! And, do you know what, on the very next day I was unfriended by Bidding Buzz. Nice people arent they? I actually built a successful eBay business myself making $20, 000 revenue (10% real profit only!) and their crappy courses werent of any use at all! I got more info out of a free eBay book than their [censor] out-date DVDs and manuals back from 2oo7! I dont know why people dont get it. You cant f#$%^& buy your success! Dont fall into the trap to listen to these unscrupulous people Matt and Amanda. Their sales tactics stink! They give a damn about your success, only what gets into their pocket! Well, thats it for my today's rank :) Please, save yourself $4000-$5000 dollars and do NOT buy their lousy eBay courses! Now you have read this, so you cant say I didnt warn you! Good luck! Grace
Hi, I have just read everyones comments and wish I had done so 18 months ago when I let Matt and Amanda have $6, 000 of my hard earned money. I asked their sales people if there was any possible way a full time working parent would have the time to make a go of this and of course their answer was yes. Stupid desperate me hoping to make an easy second income to better provide for my family listened. What a load of BS, I spent hours researching watching their dvd's and reading the worthless manuals to get no where, I could have accessed all of this info for free . This took up so much of my time that my family life suffered and my real job that pays the bills and keeps the roof over my family's head also suffered. I never felt like a customer when I rang for help, just felt stupid and in the way and trust me 15minutes is 15 minutes if you have another question stiff they have another call to answer. The hidden costs they dont tell you about also, isn't it enough that I just spent $6, 000 now I have to pay a large sum for Terapeak, ebay costs etc. We all go on ebay to look for a bargain so why would it be any different when people are looking at my stuff, I would love to know what Matt and Amanda sell, probably nothing because they make all their money from self confessed suckers like myself. To all of you looking at Matt and Amanda's programme DONT DO IT spend your money on a holiday that you really deserve . Finally Matt nd Amanda I would like to say to you, thats if you bother to read negative comments about yourself, which you probably dont because you are so perfect with your 100% positive feedback, HOPE YOU ENJOYED SPENDING MY MONEY.
Hi all you disgruntal people. How about we look into a class action against Matt and Amanda? If we could get a pro bono lawyer we could at least make some louder noise, if not get our money back? They need to be taken down a peg or two!
all
thanks for the free advice I wish I had come to this site first save me having to put up with trying to look at this program. It does show you there is money to be made but ripping people off although it does happen is not the way to make it. The other thing is they think this is acceptable beats me...they do need to be exposed to prevent further rip offs but my guess is they would open under another name anyway.
Hi everyone, i have the course and i can tell you its a waste of time. Do not waste your money or time. For those who want to know the secrets in a nuttshell, here it is

Hi,
I find most part of the complaint, of an indivdual that did not try much from the wonderful bidding buzz system. Think, its worth spending that money to learn from Matt and Amanda and make serious money. But, it will need some effort on the individual's part to be successful not just rely wholely on the material provided.
Thanks,
Bret
Hi, my answer to you is ###. We put a lot of time, effort and money into their so called program and it cost us more than that program is worth. IT'S A RIP OFF!$4, 000.00 RIP OFF.
To start a successful eBay business, one has to get some experience. Regarding how things work from the buyer's perspective, what products to
sell /buy. So, the point here is that only reading the course material won't help, addition to that we need to get some guidance and some experts advices. According to me at Bidding Buzz whatever eBay training is conducted has been beneficial for those who are new to this business.
Hi Charles Williams,
I only wanted to reply to your phrase; "According to me at Bidding Buzz whatever eBay training is conducted has been beneficial for those who are new to this business." I mean.. if you are new to eBay and online selling, why on earth do you need to spend 4, 000? For most people thats alot of money and very silly to do if you dont know anything about eBay! Get an ebook for a few bucks and learn the basics to see if you wanna take on the next level. (You can then still through your 4k out of the window if you decide for a Bidding Buzz course) However, to me, Bidding Buzz is very controverse; on one side they claim that their course teaches anyone to build a successful eBay business. We all know, this is not gonna happen by selling your home items. On the other side, my experience was (and from many other people) that the course is too basic to achieve building a successful eBay business. And I mean, look at eBay today in 2011; the market has never been more competitive as it is today! When I was trading on eBay a year ago I was even competing with other Bidding Buzz eBayers and they were doing exactly the same thing because we of course learnt it all from the same basic course. Apart from that, my biggest question has always been; how does Bidding Buzz define a so-called eBay business anyway? When I went to their disappointing "all-about-hype" 3 day seminar I was shown how to sell home items, my grandma's doll collection, information products, garage sale items etc. and that it is so easy to make money on eBay. Well, to me, thats not business! Thats eBay as a hobby. To me business starts when I go beyond this level and when I have established a source of products, distribution channels, customer base and even do my own marketing. But the course doesnt teach you that. The course DOES teach you abit of everything but nothing too detailed. In the end, I seriously question, if all I get taught is selling home and garage sale items, learn how to set up listings, paypal, answer feedback etc. and make a few dollars here and there, do I really need to spend 4k to learn this? NO! I simply get a basic ebook and save myself a lot of headache... My word, stay away from Bidding Buzz!
By the way, if anyone is thinking of getting the course, I AM GIVING MINE AWAY FREE OF CHARGE! And, I paid 4k for it! Yes, I am giving it all away to show you how much rubbish the course is, because it's not even worth 1k or $500, $300!.. Just email me for details.
i was thinking of buying this course until i came across all this info ...Thanks for saving me
... i would be interested to see whats in the course if you are giving it away for free Ryan
I would be interested in seeing the course Ryan. I have bought other lame eBay selling material, kind of curious to see if the courses are similar.
Sorry, the course is gone already! I hope I save at least one person from wasting 4k...
I am really disappointed with the ebay magic course that cost me almost $6000 dollars. I cannot get anyone to answer my question. I was of the belief that i would be mentored if I purchased the most expensive course by either experts or Matt or Amanda not by rude young girls at times. I am told the girls are highly trained and doing exceptionally well with their ebay businesses so they know all the answers, however if they were so highly experienced and trained I can't help but wonder why are their businesses not taking off enough for them to quit and live the high life gauranteed purely relying on their ebay business. Anyway can anyone tell me how I can get a refund and if they know of anyone who has ever had the guarantee refund honoured when requesting a refund. For anyone considering buying this course I advise you don't because ebay itself has so many different areas that help you for free. A lot of DVDs in the ebay course have not been professionally done and are slightly blurred or taken from a distance so are not quiet clear. A lot of the DVDs appear to be just taken of Matt and Amanda on stage from a distance by someone at their ebay workshop and it is very hard to see particular screens they had on stage. I have attended an ebay magic workshop and an issue of integrity was raised by some over an issue of Matt and Amanda not donating to the Star Lite Foundation when they said they would. Amanda said on stage that her and Matt would donate equal amount to whatever was raised at the ebay workshop to give to the charity and then encouraged people to dig deep. People did dig deep and $10, 000 dollars was raised over the 3 days, however when the representative from the Starlight Foundation came to be presented with the cheque only the $10000 was donated and Amanda and Matt did not match it as stated on stage by Amanda.
Rip off, waste of money, don't be conned into buying this course. The mentoring is by young office girls and supposedly worth $500 for 30 minutes. You have to make a time and you ring them for your mentor appointment as they won't pay the cost of your 30 min mentoring phone call you have to ring them.
THE TRUTH ABOUT : The 13 Million Matt And Amanda Clarkson Made!
Hello people,
i am so sorry to hear about the hard earned money all you guys have lost, $4000.00 is alot of money, as alot of average Australian cars are only worth that, Matt and Amanda Clarkson are only setting themselfs up as the kings of the castle. The 13 Million they have made is from selling courses as they have used their own teachings and techniques in doing this.
They first start selling on eBay and made a business, which the have and they still do, their eBay user ID is as follows: bigdollardiscounts
matt says exchanging timefor money is no good, so why make a million of eBay by selling product as their is only 24 hours in the day, so seel the system to sell on eBay that way your market can grow only selling one thing and not having to expand your product basis. Guy's their are 280 Million eBay users and
5% of them are sellers so that mean's their are around 20 million potential customers that could invest to make a better business or their are 260 million customers that would and could go from a customer to a seller, so thats a perfect market place to sell on product to. Aha everyone say's, are you having an aha moment as Matt would say.
Now do the steps which Matt has below
1. Make yourself the expert! quoted by Matt . He has through Bidding Buzz
2. Niche down, which they have using eBay as the niche.
3. Expand of f eBay, they have with starting their own franchise.
4. Automated your business, They have by getting everyone else to sell now for them.
And Watch Them Cash In!
13 million / an average of 4000 = 3250 could be less as JV have alos been bought at the price of 10 - 20 thousand and now they are seting up Global franchise and charging people $75, 000 to sell their 4000 courses preying on the dreams and hopes of average people, convincing that they can break through from what they know.
They done tell you that you need at least another 50 - 100 thousand thats if you do really want to make big money importing as you will on make profit on what you sell so if you buy something for $10.00 and sell it for $20.00 you have made your $10.00 GP hardly a million.
Australians Wake Up:
Matt and Amanda dont follow up and enforce to tell you, unless you have alot of money to invest, you have no chance, no chance at all, if you have 0 how can you make even 1 dollar let alone a million, you need money to invest in stock and even if you spend a $1000.00 on stock at best you will make $2000.00 - 10% Paypal and eBayless - transport - GST = your profit which might be around $600.00 ontop of your originally investment.
Matt and Amanda are wrong for misleading poor people looking for hope and using their fears as a tool of
Manipulation, stand up Australia and report these two, spread the word and tell everyone that they are Dream Weavers and taking advantage of anyone who is willing to pay.
DONT GET FOOLED DONT GET SCAMMED :)
Do You Want To Know How To Start A Great Business And Make A Million Just Like Matt And Amanda?
Easy go to eBay live and eBay work shops then package every thing up into a glossy package and sell it for $4000.00 each and charge people $75, 000 for other hard working Australians to sell their $4000.00 courses while they play on the beach and enjoy their FREE and easy life style.
Matt and Amanda received their information for absolutely free, google eBay work shops and information days, they have got something for nothing and charging everybody else, so wrong especially for $4000.00.
Dont Get Scammed, Dont Throw away Your Money, They Are Selling To Everyone And The Only Winners Are Matt And Amanda Laughing All The Way To The Bank.
