I wanted to know more about how the tax credit would actually work. The customer service was great. The staff were all very professional. They returned my calls quickly. I did receive all the materials that were promised, but not exactly on time.

This company has the worst customer service. I had a problem with my enphase enlighten monitoring system. It lost connection. I tried to contact them many times but got no response. This ain't the first time I had trouble with them. I wouldn't suggest them to anyone.

This company never returns calls or emails. I have leaks on the roof from their installation, and it's staining my ceiling and probably making mold. It looks like I have to handle fixing this problem myself. Don't use this company because the salespeople are great, but the repair people can't handle any issues.

I don't recommend this company at all! They deserve 0 stars, they're the worst! Whenever it rains, every solar panel they installed on my roof leaks! Can you believe it? And they haven't even bothered to fix the damages! It's literally raining inside my house! I've been waiting for months and they still haven't resolved my case! I'm fed up and I'm going to take legal action. They better take my case seriously!

This solar company is so unprofessional! I've been trying to contact the lady who sets up the technician appointments for the past 2 weeks. Don't be fooled by this company, they don't care at all. I have to pay almost 500 dollars for electricity in addition to my solar panels. Every time I call, they always have an excuse. Either the lady who knows the schedule isn't around or the technicians are unavailable. It's just ridiculous.

They respond to all complaints on reviews with a generic answer, which is the same in both Spanish and English. It's ironic because their main complaint is the poor response from customer service.

Maximo Solar installed my 21 panels in Feb. 2017 and have been the best company i could have hoped for. I have no electric bill, as I produce more electricity than i use, so I get a check from *** every year for the power I sell back to them. I got the huge tax write-off from my taxes, too...the credit was so large, I had to carry it over into the next year. A great company with excellent service. They have honored their 25 year warranty and I feel great and taken care of.
I have no worries or concerns with them. They were so good that the City of Oviedo building inspector passed their work in 5 minutes and I went operational with *** just 4 days after installation. See my testimonial on ***, under Tom *** and Maximo Solar.

But that's not how it actually works. The IRS actually holds onto that credit. So now, I have to pay $15,000 from my own pocket just to keep my rate unchanged. All the salespeople tell the same story, and it's a complete lie.

They haven't offered any solutions and instead told us to contact the product manufacturer directly. However, according to our contract, they are supposed to help us with this kind of issue. Unfortunately, we can't reach out to any other companies as it would void our warranty, leaving us in a difficult situation.

For over 2 months, I can't monitor the system's production on the app. I reached out to Maximo Solar and they said a technician needed to inspect the system, which would cost $150.00. They assured me that the guarantee covered everything else. I promptly paid the $150.00 and scheduled the technician to visit my home. After checking the system, the technician said the antennas weren't functioning and would inform their boss. It's been over 2 months now, and the system still has the same issue.

I spoke with them again, but received the same response. I have a 10-year warranty that covers the entire system, including the installation. Additionally, we haven't been able to apply for the tax credit because our income doesn't qualify according to the SSA. They initially assured us that we could apply, but it turned out to be a lie. They also failed to explain the service call fees mentioned in the contract. I'm currently experiencing issues with the system, but they refuse to check the solar panels or micro inverters. They only address it through the app. I'm extremely disappointed.

The system only makes about 50 percent of the energy I use, so I always end up importing 50 percent or more from the energy company. 'Cause of this, I'm paying more for energy than before. They say everything's fine and it might be 'cause of more usage, but that's not true. I totally think the seller's calculation was way off. I contacted Maximo Solar on 6/28 about a warranty repair for my Solar Edge solar system inverter, covered through warranty and serviced by them. On 6/29, I got a call from customer service, gave them the trouble code, and they confirmed the inverter needed replacing. They said they would order it and call me to schedule the replacement when it arrived. They asked me to pay $200 for labor, which I did on 6/29. They said it would take up to 5 days for them to receive it. After 10 business days, I followed up and they said they had it and I would get a call soon to schedule the service. On 7/13, I got an email saying they would schedule and complete the service that week. After making 2-3 more calls to customer service, they still haven't called me to schedule. On 7/29, I emailed the CEO, COO/GM, and Director of Sales for help. No response. On 7/30, I emailed them again. Still no response. I just want to know when they will schedule the service because I have a $34K solar system that I am financing and not getting any benefit from while it's not working. I also asked for a review of production vs consumption because the data doesn't match what's going back to the grid. I wonder if the faulty inverter has been the main issue since the installation in 8.

However, the company started charging me maintenance fees one year after I signed the contract, just to get my system fixed. Initially, they had assured me that if anything went wrong with the system, I could simply call them and it would be fixed without any additional charges, since it was still under warranty. But without any warning, they suddenly started charging customers to fix equipment that should have been covered by their warranty. I tried explaining to them that this was not what they had told me when I first purchased the system, but all they said was that it wasn't mentioned in my original contract, so they could do it. So, what's the point of having a warranty if I have to pay for repairs due to faulty equipment? The customer service is terrible, and they just give me the runaround. They constantly promise to call me back, but they never do. Since the main office is in Puerto Rico and the satellite office is in Florida, it's nearly impossible to get any answers from them. This company is unresponsive to individual customers and instead tries to generalize our problems to buy themselves more time. Now they're telling me that they only have one technician to cover all their areas. That's not my problem, and I shouldn't have to wait for a service that I've already paid for. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I would definitely not choose this company, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, ever. STAY AWAY!

I'm writing this email because I haven't received any solution for my solar panels from Maximo Solar. We had issues with the sales agent they hired for the first consultation. Most of what he told us was a lie, including the $1000.00 fee to remove and reinstall the panels if we needed to replace the roof. Below are some emails exchanged between us and Maximo Solar regarding several incidents. We had problems with the roof and incorrect information from your employee. I'm pretty sure Maximo also has all the emails. Two weeks ago, before the technician came to my house, I spoke to Aleisha. She said Maximo would give us a $1000.00 discount to remove the panels. After the technician inspected the system, he had to seal the panels for the second time. The first time was back in 2020, and the second time was a week ago in January 2023. I asked Maximo to waive the fees for the panels that are damaging the roof, and she told me her supervisor would give us a $1000.00 discount, which is the same offer from two weeks ago. My problem is that before Maximo installed the panels, my roof was inspected and according to you, there were no issues and the roof was in good condition. A year and a half later, my roof started to leak, and some of the leaks are from the solar panels. Who did the roof inspection before installation? Do you have a report? I always knew that at some point I would need to replace the roof, and that was one of my questions during the consultation. I was told the cost would be $1000.00. I haven't heard anything from Maximo Solar since last week. I was told that my case would be escalated to management and that they would call or email me back within 48 hours. I'm still waiting with no word from Maximo Solar. I can prove that the roof was leaking back in 2020. They came and sealed it, but it leaked again, and when I tried to contact previous employees, they never answered their emails. I hope everything will get resolved between us and Maximo.

The process started on 01/11 and the installation finished on 05/24. Everything seemed fine, except they never gave me a copy of the contract in Spanish. I asked for it at the time of the contract, and they said they would send it later. After I received my first electric bill, I started calling them because my bills were still expensive. At that moment, they sent a technician to fix the problem. But after that, I called almost every other month asking them to send somebody to check the system because it's not fair that they told me I would pay 80% less on my bill and that's not happening. They always said they would check, but nothing happened. On 02/28, I called for the same problem. My bill was too high, and I spoke with Rosanna H and I sent her a copy of my electric bill. So on 03/04, Carlos S sent me a report saying that the solar panels were working 102%, and I don't really understand. On 07/08, I called Maximo Solar Industry again. I spoke with Rosanna ***. I was very upset because my electric bill was $301. I told her that if they don't send somebody to fix the problem, they will see me in the courthouse. She was patient and tried to convince me to send my electric bills again, and I did. I sent the bill to her by email, but that was on 07/08. I tried to call before, but nobody answered. I called today like 4 times before 4 pm, and they said they close at 7 pm, but no one answered. Purchase date: 01/11 Components: Inverter Solar Edge 1, Solar panel model: Silfab350W 33, PV tracking system including monitoring system Solar Edge 1. Price: $28,297.50 Cash. Estimated energy production capacity: 11,550. Salesperson: Jeremie V. I'm tired and frustrated, more than a year with the same problem. I hope I can get help with this problem. This is serious. I spent the retirement money of my family on this because they told me my electric bill would be $10 or less. Now I'm afraid that these solar panels will mess up my ceiling too.

We are very unhappy with the service of your company. We were promised that our light bill would decrease and also a tax credit. We are very unhappy with the service of Maximo Solar. We were promised that our light bill would decrease and at times that we would receive credits towards our electric bill and that has not happened. We were also promised that we would get a tax credit of $8000, that we could put towards the loan and keep our monthly loan payments low. However, we did not receive the credit and will have to pay higher monthly payments in the near future. We also installed a water heater timer, which used to help with the electric bill being lower, however, that also recently is not showing to help lower the bill. The solar panels stopped working at the beginning of May and we did not notice until the beginning of June when the Electric bill came out at $120. This happened because of the lack of communication from this company. We initially were not told to download the Solar Edge App, which would allow us to monitor the panels constantly. I personally called your customer service department and was told that someone will call me back to set up an appointment for a technician to come out and check to see what the problem was. Your customer service department did not call me back, I had to call back several times and finally got someone to come out. I was told the inverter was damaged and a new one would have to be ordered and again was told I would receive a call when the inverter was in, so that a technician would come and replace it. Your customer service department again failed to call me and I had to be the one to call to follow up on the process. I was told that the inverter had just came in that day, and that I would get a call back to make the appointment. Well, again your representative Roxanna did not call me and I had to be the one to call per follow up in the process. Only after threatening to speak with a lawyer and submit a complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com, did I finally get the technician here to replace the inverter. Meanwhile, I paid $120 for May and $150 for June and who knows what my bill will be this time around since it was only fixed on 8/1. All of this, while I am paying All In monthly $116 for the loan per the solar panels. Which means for the last couple of months I have paid over $200 for electric, which in my case means I am paying more for electricity than previously, before getting the solar panels installed. Later I noticed a leak in the kitchen and called a roof company and was told that it could be due to the solar panels. I called Maximo Solar and a technician again had to come and repair the solar panels because according to him they were installed incorrectly. Now my Loan payment has increased because I was never able to pay down the loan as agreed due to never receiving the $8000 tax credit that the sales person promised. As of today the Electric bill that I just received to pay for February is $87.46 and my loan payment is $165. I have tried to contact Maximo Solar, have sent them copies of my electric bill and have not received a response via email or phone call.

Product does not perform as promised. I have had issues with this system since it was installed.The first couple of months it was okay, and it has gone down hill since. We I signed up for this fiasco, I told the "salesman" that I wanted a system that would zero out my $350 a month power bill. I was willing to pay monthly for Solar, what I was paying for power. He assured me that the "engineers" would work that out. 49 PVA Panels and $30,000 Plus dollars later, the system does not remotely perform as advertised. I'm here in Sunny Central Florida, so sunshine is in abundance. We keep the panels clean, and still I have a $200 Plus Power Bill and a $280.00 Solar bill. I'm paying $480.00 a month for power after having Solar installed. I have contacted them multiple times, and they did sent someone out a couple of times, after that my calls were ignored.
