I get email notifications. I tried calling many times, but no one answers the phone. I left a message, but no one called back. I'm attaching my latest payment. Tell me if you need the other payments.

This review is about the dental Insurance plan provided by Merchants Benefit Administration. I want to bring attention to the fact that they did not properly cover my dental cleanings as stated in their Schedule of benefits. According to the schedule, they are supposed to cover two cleanings per year. However, my last cleaning was on 6/7 and the one before that was on 12/16. It clearly states in their dental benefits that cleanings are covered 100%. It's really deceiving to see such discrepancies in their listings. They didn't cover my cleaning on 6/7 and claimed that I had reached my *** benefits. This was the only service I had done in 2021. I have attached their Schedule of benefits for reference.

I signed up for their *** I was never told nor sent information that all the services needed would not be covered for over a year. I paid over $70 a month to receive no benefits from this company. I was told by the sales person that the Insurance covered around 5K in services which I am in desperate need of, and no mention of this waiting period. I would like reimbursed for the time I had this worthless coverage, that I bought in 'Good Faith' I cannot afford to raise my grandchild and have paid fees for services that would not be rendered at time of purchase which was the expectation at the time of sale. Only went to dentist once, and was never able to afford to return.

I went to the dentist on August 15, 2022 and had a procedure. I went to file dental claim form 1. Someone there misspelled my last name and wouldn't cover the claim. Even though it was their mistake, I had to resubmit it after they fixed my last name. I resubmitted the claim and they denied it because the dentist's name wasn't mentioned. But according to the dentist, the money is supposed to come to me only. They rejected it a third time and won't explain why it's not being covered. Every time I call, they put me on hold and then claim they can't hear me. They keep using the excuse that my last name is still misspelled, even though it's been fixed. This company is a scam! I want all my money back since I started in March, or at least have them cover my claim.

Merchants Benefit Administration sold a healthcare policy for $393 per month that covered less than $300 of an over $*** healthcare bill. This was for an emergency appendectomy. They initially refused to pay anything and only paid around $300 after I reported them to the attorney general. This company is fraudulent and should be avoided at all costs. The attorney general is currently investigating, but in the meantime, I want to warn others not to purchase insurance from them. They are a complete scam. I once called their customer service and got transferred to an auto insurance company. Please never give them your money. I paid premiums totaling $20,000 over 4 years, and when I finally needed my insurance for an emergency, they did not pay. This cannot be legal. I hope the attorney general doesn't allow them to continue stealing from people.

This company ain't good at settling claims right. They messed up on a claim for a thing I did a year ago. They should've covered it all, but they keep changing their minds and saying stuff ain't covered when it should be. Last time they messed up, it was their fault and they fixed it, but it was a real hassle to even get in touch with them. They don't care about customers at all. It's so hard to reach them, and I keep getting bills in the mail months after I had the procedure! Every time I've called about anything more than a basic checkup, I've made sure to know what I gotta pay upfront. But somehow, they always mess up and I end up owing more than they said. And now, their phone number don't even work, so I can't even contact them at all.

This company does dental claims. My last dental appointment for a crown was on 3/24. They made a mistake and denied my claim, but they admitted it. On July 1, they said they would reprocess the claim, but nothing happened. I called them again on 7/14 and got the same result (they were "working on it"). I called them a third time on 7/22 with the same result. I called them a fourth time on 7/27, and they said there were system issues, so my claim was denied when processed. Today, I called again and they promised a call back from a supervisor named "***" (I'm not sure if she's real!). Meanwhile, my dentist is still waiting for payment since March! This company can't give me a date when they will process my claim successfully. I thought they would manually process it by now. They automatically take my insurance premium from my checking account every month. I think it's time they paid my claim.

I'm here to complain about Merchant's Benefit Administration again. They never follow their own insurance policy and it's impossible to reach them. I should've learned from my first complaint, but a company rep fixed it quickly. They made me believe they'd be easier to reach and that there wouldn't be future issues, but that was a lie. On 6/7, I went for a regular dental cleaning, my first this year. My dental policy, which costs me almost $60 a month, should've covered it completely, like it has in the past. But I got a bill on 7/20 for $76.10. I've paid them $420 this year alone, and they won't cover a simple cleaning. I've tried two different MBA numbers, but they're both out of service. I can't even log into my account, even though all my info is saved.

I been having this Medicare supplement Senior Choice No Copay Plan with Merchants Benefit Administration since 9/1. I asked them to change my deductible from $1000 to $500 starting 1/1, and they said I gotta pay $230.50 per month according to the 2019 No Copay Rate Guide. But on 1/3, they took out $278.68 from my bank account. I emailed and called them many times to argue about this charge. I been asking for the 2020 no copay rate guide since December , but they said they won't give it to customers, gotta ask the agent. So on 2/19, I talked to the agent and she said they still haven't got it. As of 2/19, they haven't taken out any money from my bank account for February premium. It's hard to communicate with them 'cause they don't respond fast or sometimes don't respond at all. Last time I talked to them on the phone was on 2/11 about the premium. The 2019 No Copay Rate Guide clearly says that "Premium is based on age, and the rate goes up when you get into a new age plan."

I got my health insurance from Merchants Benefits Administration in December . They took out $395 every month since then. They didn't cover my bloodwork from August , and didn't send me any Explanation of Benefits for the charges. Quest Diagnostics, the lab that did the bloodwork, followed what the claims people at MBA told me to do in an email. Quest resubmitted everything on paper to the right address and put my account on hold for 45 days. It's been over 55 days now, and I have to pay $2000 for the bloodwork. I told MBA via email in November that I wanted to cancel my insurance by December 31, because I couldn't talk to a human on the phone. But they had already taken the payment for December. They emailed me that it was canceled by November 30. I didn't get a refund, and today, on 12/28, they charged me $395 for another month. I want $790 back, which includes today's payment and the one they took in November for December.

After a few weeks, I started calling to check on the status because I paid for the service directly and needed reimbursement instead of the dentist. As of 12/14, I can't get anyone to tell me why I haven't received a check yet. My dentist hasn't heard anything either. Actually, this company hasn't paid any claims yet. I'm now calling every day and have been on hold for two hours each time. I would be on hold longer, but their system disconnects after a certain time. I'm so frustrated and I can't even find out how to escalate above a supervisor. I paid extra for this dental insurance, but last week I canceled my policy because they haven't done anything for me except make excuses. I really needed this dental work because of the decay in my front teeth, and now they won't even acknowledge me. At one point, I was told I would receive a check in two weeks, and that was two months ago. I heard that person was fired. Can you please help me? I'm elderly and disabled. I'm sure Dr. M can confirm all of this. The insurance company may be an okay company, but Merchants Benefit Administration is the worst company I've ever dealt with, or should I say, not been able to deal with.
