Bought Item based on picture posted on their website. Their price was $20 higher than available via ***, but I was willing to pay a premium to obtain the item as shown. Once the item was received, turns out to be different artwork than advertised, and is the same artwork I could have paid much less for. Was this deliberate?, Bait and switch, or just sloppy? Of course, no returns accepted on this type item, as they pointed out after payment made. In this competitive market space, you have many options. Do yourself a favor, and buy from someone with better performance.

They will send products that they know are defective are defective. They will not either replace the item or refund your money.
Terrible customer service. I ordered a t-shirt in Nov 2021 and it never shipped, so they offered the option to cancel and reenter the order to get it moving. That was done 12/12 and it's now 1/26/22. I've sent several emails now to cancel the order since it's obvious I'm never getting the shirt. No response to any of my requests so far. Now I'm stuck with the hassle of disputing the charges through my bank. What a PITA.
They commit fraud. I purchased a sweatshirt on November 30 for over $100-my nephew's Christmas present. A big deal. Supposed to be shipped by December-mid December. I would have done earlier but my nephew wanted that sweatshirt so badly. First they wrote back the order never went through so they can't credit me. Then when I sent the actual confirmation and said I'd have a legal issue (not like they cared) they said they would try but can't guarantee that their supplier would allow that. So no sweatshirt, Christmas *** paid for, and now I have to contest this with my credit card. I hope they go down and under. Just a fraud.

Any good and decent company would refund the customer fully as it was within 5 minutes and no packaging or shipment could occur within such a short time period, but these people are CONNIVING. They would reply to my emails every few days saying that they were working on getting me a refund and cancellation as they understood I canceled within 5 minutes. Within a week, you can guess what happened, they said it was too late to give a refund. These are the sort of companies they warn you to not trust when shopping online. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

Put the item in my card and it showed the right price and free shipping. Closed the transaction out and my receipt showed FULL PRICE - AND they charged me shipping. Got my merchandise and it is great - but after dealing with 5 different 'customer service' reps, they refuse to fix the error on price and shipping. They insist that I didn't buy it through the Instagram store so it is full price with shipping. NOTE that I have spent several thousand dollars with them over the past couple years. They had MANY s*** during that time (extreme delays, damaged goods, wrong items sent, one item that never arrived) but they always had good customer service reps who took accountability and fixed things. NO MORE! Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere.
I purchased a hoodie from this company as a Christmas gift. I ended up needing to return it because things fell apart with the friend I bought it for. The company never refunded me after I saw the hoodie was delivered back at their address. They contacted me to say they were closing the request soon, and to provide confirmation my PayPal was active. Well, I replied it was working, and they ignored me and closed the request. So now Im out the money originally spent, plus the cost to ship it back. Would not recommend this company.

They took our money and have sent us nothing! We have emailed customer service multiple times, and every time the answers unsatisfactory. They will not cancel our order, they will not give us our money back, and it has been weeks and weeks since we ordered. Please, do not ever use this company.

Several weeks later, the order still hadn't processed or changed status at all, so I reached out to customer support and was told it's actually 15 business days to receive the item once shipped. As the order was intended to be a Christmas gift, I then requested to cancel the entire order. I was told it would be cancelled, and then immediately after that they supposedly shipped the order anyway so it couldn't be cancelled and I was charged for the order. I was then told I could refuse the package once received and they would refund me when it arrived back to them. Well, it's now been almost an entire month since the order was placed, I still haven't received anything from them, there are no tracking updates to give me any indication when or if I will ever receive this item. At this point, it seems like they are a scam and just charge you and never send you anything. I will now dispute the charge through my bank since Merchbar refuses to do anything about this.

I don't know how this company stays in business.. I ordered an album for my niece on December 12 and paid the $10.95 for expedited shipping which GUARANTEED Christmas Delivery. It's been "in transit" since December 16th and still not has not arrived as of January 6th. Despite numerous phone calls and emails to the company, I kept being told that it was out of their hands because they had a tracking number and that I had to keep checking it myself for updates. It was now MY problem. They also refused to issue a refund because they will only do so if I receive the item damaged. I never received it. Luckily, I ordered through PayPal who resolved the issue in one day and issued me a full refund. Unless you enjoy aggravation, false advertising, inept customer service and a charge for something you'll never receive, do not order from this company. Check out the other reviews which prove to be very similar to mine.

I ordered a hoodie that was on backorder and received it about a month later. To my surprise, the hoodie did not look anything like the one being advertised on their website. The hoodie on the website looked like a good quality heavy material that was worth the $75 being asked for it. The one I received was so thin that you could see through it and the zipper on the front was different. I asked for a refund and they would never address the fact that it looked completely different on the website and instead apologized that it wasn't up to my standards. They wanted me to pay for return shipping and said they were not responsible if the item was lost on the way back to them. Luckily, I ordered it through PayPal and they were able to help me get my money back. Beware of this company, they charge a lot of money for fraudulent items that are not as described and deceive people. I just wanted to share my experience to hopefully prevent others from getting ripped off in the future.

I sent a note to cancel and here is what I got back from them "We can certainly understand your request to cancel your order. However, the official store's merchandise provider of your Metal Health (Bang Your Head) vinyl record has already confirmed your order. It will be in the processing stage along with the Mechanical Resonance and Wicked Sensation vinyl records to be ready for shipment soon. Sadly, we cannot cancel or make any changes to the order at this point.Please also note that vinyl records can only be returned if defective or damaged"Wow these guys mislead you take your money and there's nothing we can do. I see this is not the only time this has happened reading others on this page.. I've always said it's hard to deal with "Perfect people" and these guys must be perfect. My experience: At checkout, my $250 order of a dozen LPs was placed TWICE! 2 duplicate orders created with the same time stamp. Contacted them right away after receiving two separate confirmation emails and confirming duplicate charges.3 days later I FINALLY get a response from them telling me unfortunately, its too late to cancel them because theyve already been shipped. Im angry, but I figure i will just send the duplicate packages back. So they finally arrive in my building package room (building staff accepts all packages for tenants) and I email Merchbar again, to inquire about how theyd like me to go about getting the duplicate records back to them and THIS is the response I get:We're sorry that you weren't able to refuse the delivery for the duplicate records.We understand that you would like to return them free of charge. They're charging $27.99 for the product and for fast shipping an additional $14 and change. The website says "price match guarantee" so I figured they have the same price as everyone else. Unfortunately I was mistaken and found the exact same product on Amazon for $23.99 and FREE SHIPPING! LITERALLY not even 2 hours after making the order, I tried to cancel the order and issue a refund. They tried telling me that the warehouse has already received my order and they're preparing it for shipping so therefore it is too late to cancel my order or issue a refund (2 hours after making the order)I still had not received my tracking label like they said I would within the first day of placing the order. So why the *** can't you cancel the order when it never even shipped?!?!?!Than 2 days later they want to send me a tracking label for the product. STAY AWAY FROM PURCHASING ANYTHING ON THIS WEBSITE! They don't want to give me a refund or cancel the order so I contacted my bank and they disputed this bull s*** charge! So either way I'll get my money back and send them their trash! It baffles me how there are tons of comments and issues from numerous people ALL WITH THE SAME PROBLEM! And not a single thing has ever been resolved! I paid this business a total of $60.11 between two separate orders. The website claimed my purchase did not go through the first time, leading to me attempting to purchase again; also declining. on dec 15th i purchased a vinyl from them, but there must have been glitch on my end or theirs, because I was charged for it but did not receive a confirmation e-mail from them. I ended up buying it again on dec 21st and this time received a confirmation e-mail. I called them and e-mailed them to be refunded ($32.80) and they were not at all helpful. On November 30, I placed an order with Merchbar for 1 Ice Nine Kills, The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood "Love Hurts" Variant LP Vinyl album and 1 Ice Nine Kills sticker pack. These are products from a band (Ice Nine Kills) that are sold through Merchbar and were intended as a Christmas gift for my son. I received a confirmation e-mail with Order# CONF5933509-5889793. The confirmation e-mail also included a link where I could check the status of my order. On December 11, I reached out to Merchbar via e-mail as I had not yet received my items and the status via the email link still showed it as being "processed". On that same day I received a response from "***" at Merchbar fan support indicating that they were reaching out to the company that makes the items for an update. On December 12, I received a promotional e-mail from Merchbar advertising Ice Nine Kills merchandise and stating 12/12 was the last day to guarantee delivery before Christmas.On December 13, "Jehiel" at Merchbar fan support e-mailed advising that the order was still being processed and I would receive a notice when it shipped. No explanation was provided for why it had not yet been shipped. Between December 15, and December 24, I reached out to Merchbar support approximately 8 times to inquire into the status of my order as the e-mail link continued to show it as being "processed" and I never received a shipment notification. Each response I received from Merchbar support appeared to be the exact same stock response I had previously received and I never received any information as to why my order was stuck in processing and had not shipped. After Christmas I requested a refund as I had not received my order and it was intended as a gift. I received what appeared to be a stock e-mail stating that my request would be processed. On December 28, I received an e-mail from "***" stating that there is no timeline for my refund.
I placed a clothing order on December 3rd through the merchbar website. The total cost was $350.00 and was paid via credit card. I have yet to receive my purchase and when I track the package it says my items were returned to sender. It is very difficult to communicate with merchbar. They do not make it easy and this is a huge red flag. They will only communicate via email and they dont answer my questions or provide details. They only refuse to reimburse my money stating they dont have the items and cant return my money. I want my money back and I dont think this business should be allowed to scam any more people. From the reviews on this site alone it sounds like this happens often

I messaged merch bar and they said my product was going to be shipped back but they will not or would not resend the product back to me. That's messed up because now its sold out. I messaged merch bar and they said my product was going to be shipped back but they will not or would not resend the product back to me. That's messed up because now its sold out. Anyway now they are having issues with their system and won't issue a refund. And apparently they do not have a phone number. I want my money back...they are no longer responding to my emails.

I realized the mistake and requested the order be cancelled twenty minutes after it was placed. I received a reply almost three hours later stating that it was too late to cancel. It has now been over two days since the order was placed and it has still not shipped. Why was it too late to cancel but after multiple days it still hasn't shipped? The customer service staff has not been helpful at all. I would like the order to be cancelled and a refund issued. Please help me with this.

I checked my e-mail to see that I was charged TWICE since the website wrongly informed me and immediately emailed customer service. *** then informed me that it was too late for a refund for two of my purchases, stating that they couldnt provide a refund either way unless the items arrived damaged. I have yet to receive my purchase and when I track the package it says my items were returned to sender. It is very difficult to communicate with merchbar. They do not make it easy and this is a huge red flag. They will only communicate via email and they dont answer my questions or provide details. They only refuse to reimburse my money stating they dont have the items and cant return my money. I want my money back and I dont think this business should be allowed to scam any more people. From the reviews on this site alone it sounds like this happens often

I am still waiting on the charge to be credited back to my credit card. I have call the number listed for Merchbar 3 times. Every time I have been told that they will expedite my request and I should see the refund in a couple of days. Today I found out that the people I have been talking to actually work for an answering service and not Merchbar. So there is really no way to reach our to Merchbar, if it is even an actual company. I feel very helpless and am so frustrated.

Between 12/9 and 12/23 I sent 9 emails following up on my order ensuring it will arrive in time I was cited with policy which told me it would arrive in time. On November 30, I placed an order with Merchbar for 1 Ice Nine Kills, The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood "Love Hurts" Variant LP Vinyl album and 1 Ice Nine Kills sticker pack. These are products from a band (Ice Nine Kills) that are sold through Merchbar and were intended as a Christmas gift for my son. I received a confirmation e-mail with Order# CONF5933509-5889793. The confirmation e-mail also included a link where I could check the status of my order. On December 11, I reached out to Merchbar via e-mail as I had not yet received my items and the status via the email link still showed it as being "processed". On that same day I received a response from "***" at Merchbar fan support indicating that they were reaching out to the company that makes the items for an update. On December 12, I received a promotional e-mail from Merchbar advertising Ice Nine Kills merchandise and stating 12/12 was the last day to guarantee delivery before Christmas.On December 13, "Jehiel" at Merchbar fan support e-mailed advising that the order was still being processed and I would receive a notice when it shipped. No explanation was provided for why it had not yet been shipped. Between December 15, and December 24, I reached out to Merchbar support approximately 8 times to inquire into the status of my order as the e-mail link continued to show it as being "processed" and I never received a shipment notification. Each response I received from Merchbar support appeared to be the exact same stock response I had previously received and I never received any information as to why my order was stuck in processing and had not shipped. After Christmas I requested a refund as I had not received my order and it was intended as a gift. I received what appeared to be a stock e-mail stating that my request would be processed. On December 28, I received an e-mail from "***" stating that there is no timeline for my refund.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! I ordered a hoodie before Christmas with ship date end of January. Mid February and not a word. All they swnd is generic emails thanking for my patience. On their webaitw it now saya ship date end of March and i email for a refund. Now they say the hoodie is a final sales item. Nowhere on their website it says that it is. This company is a SCAM. Merchbar Has horrible *** leading to long email chains and hollow apologies! They advertised incorrect prices and incorrect products. It is insulting to the bands they represent. I came to the Complaintsboard.com originally to file a complaint but after seeing how many non resolved issues they have Im throwing my hands up and chalking it up to as a loss.
This company is awful. There is a reason for all the negative reviews online. Stay far away .
