As an employer deposited $70 from paypal and got rejected for 15 chores, when I tried to withdraw they did another scam scheme a PIN that never gets sent, saw many online complaints from workers about the PIN, they initilally paid small accounts like 5 or 7$ but BEWARE never deposit big amount they WILL STEAL it. US Government please close this SCAM Rippoff site. even PTC Investigations.com never posted my complaint..scammers helping scammers

I just had the same experience !
After I was waiting for 5 days for my campaign to be approved and start running, and many emails to the admin to explain the delay, finally he said it was disapproved. I decided to ask for a withdrawal and get out there, so at the process according to their rules I should ask for a PIN which I did. Microworkers said that they sent a PIN but it's not truth. I never received in my email a PIN from them. I went to ask for the PIN to be re-sent but I noticed they say a $2.00 fee will be applied for every new PIN request. Then I realized this is their way to diminish the account money and not to send the requested withdrawal.
In domain search I found that this site is run by someone with the following information, but even when I tried to call him, the number was not working.
I would recommend to everyone with complaints for Microworkers, to contact their Credit Card or Moneybookers or AlertPay, fraud department, whichever is the way they paid and strongly complain against this scammer who runs this site.

Hi guys,
Here I am, another victim of microwrker, the scam firm. I have been also cheated by microworker.com. First they made me do a lot of work, then they got me stuck with the PIN thing which never gets sent and then they just ignore my repeated requests to rectify the problem. I thought about it and came to following conclusion:

They earn money from the work providers (those who give workers required work). Then when they have to pay the workers they suddenly activate some technical problem (like this PIN thing). The disgruntled workers like us leave the site and new workers fill in. Thus they pocket all the money for free!

But, why should we be victimized? There are laws against such activities and I found this link where we can complain:
http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx
This is where we can lodge a complaint against microworkers.com, but my advice is, first let us unite together and then file a joint complaint which is more likely to be investigated.

PLEASE REPLY TO THIS COMMENT FOR FURTHER ACTION

I have been a member of Microworkers for around 18 months. Even though I have often questioned how legitimate what they actually do is, I have never had any issues with payment… until I accidentally keyed in the wrong Paypal e mail address when requesting a payment of just short of $100 in February of this year.

I filed a support ticket and was sent a very curt reply saying that unless I told Paypal to refund the money to them there was nothing they could do to help me. I contacted Paypal by phone who told me there was nothing I personally could do, but they gave me clear instructions to pass on to Microworkers so that they could cancel the payment made to the wrong e mail address and pay it to me. Before getting back in touch with Microworkers I sent a test e mail to the incorrect address I had keyed in only to find it does not exist, so feeling relieved that at least nobody else had benefitted from my hard earned cash I then wrote back to Microworkers apologising for the problems I had caused and explaining what Paypal told me. This time I did not get a reply.

I have since written a further four e mails on the subject politely asking them to pay me the $100 they owe me and posted a comment on their Facebook page. I have not received a reply to anything.

This leads me to believe that Microworkers are a bunch of opportunists who will seize any chance they can to claim money that is not rightfully theirs. I have done some research online and from what I have read this is just one of a number of ways Microworkers falsely extract money from not only their workers but their employers too.

I am now in the process of lodging a formal complaint with Paypal about them.

My advice to anyone reading this is to ask yourself one question: do you really believe that any site who takes money off people for paying others to write fake reviews and click on Google Adsense ads, thus robbing and deceiving people could be anything but dishonest themselves? I wish I had looked a bit deeper before I ever got involved with this site.

I can confirm they are scammers, but of course scammers like them not fool, they only scam some people, so that the others which are not scammed can give review like this; microworkers.com is legit and so on.

3 weeks ago I paid them to run a campaign on that ### ### website..they deduct my banking balance, ok no problem. Then after 3 days the campaign still doesn't run, instead they deduct again my banking money without my agreement, simply like that, before emailing me telling me I need to tell them the exact money they deduct otherwise they will void my transaction in 5 days, WTF! Didn't they know the exact amount of the deduction since they deduct my money in bank? With this point, I 99% confident they are scammers, brilliant one. Why not before I made payment, state that they are gonna charge me again for the verification process, why not? And WTF don't know the amount that they deducted and asking me to tell? Because they are scammers.

But I still have 1% faith left, so then I go to support and tell them the exact amount like they ask me to. THEN until now they don't run my campaign and even respond to me! Then Here I 100% confident that they are brilliant scammers. Avoid this micro[censored] at all cost! I wish I could research before I made decision to pay them for the campaign, coz WTF website like that, asking people, i.e. pay people to cheat click google ads, and other illegal things is supposed to be a good legit site. AVOID AT ALL COST, ESPECIALLY IF YOU WANT TO PAY THEM FOR RUNNING CAMPAIGN!

They don't accept PayPal deposits and they've abandoned their Twitter. Any company that ignores tweets is surely up to no good.

It's not a scam in my opinion.
I did get my PIN, it took about 10 days for it to arrive. I received my payment a few days later..
Maybe it's not the best place to earn money online but if you have some free time it doesn't hurt to try it.

This is a very nice site. Most of the complaints here are not true. I have been a member since 2015 and withdraw as much as 12 times and everything smoothly. On the contrary there are some employers who are not good, but most of them have been getting warnings and kicked out. lol. They had deliberately trying to undermine the confidence of the workers on this site deliberately refuse work that has been done correctly according to instructions.

Yeah they're scammers, opportunists and fraudsters. I'm not sure where they're located, but what they're doing is clearly illegal.

Attached is my attempt to withdraw money clearly owed to me over a year ago. My pin wasn't even mailed. They're a joke.

Was that the first time you were trying to withdraw money from microworkers or were you able to withdraw some amounts earlier? I would like to know since a lot of people are working there and maybe they aer getting their amounts that is why they still continue to work and the site continues to operate, right?

Payoneer's fee schedule is out of this world. $12 card issue fee, $3 load fee, $3 monthly maintenance fee, at least $1 for every transaction no matter what form it takes including balance inquiries. That is why I hate banks.

Scam or not they certainly are up to no good. They have made stinking and ridiculous payment process and policies. I am so frustrated with this site, not letting me change me email and not withdrawing to existing email as well as it doesn't match my name. This is absolutely stupid. Stay away from this site.

In the beginning, I had seen only good reviews about microworkers. I have been waiting for the PIN for withdrawing money for two months. Now I see the reviews that the site is fraud. Highly frustrated. I worked after my daily duty without sleeping to earn some extra money.

Either try to withdraw via Payoneer (Since PIN requirement is waived for Payoneer), or contact support inquiring about your PIN.

I've been paid MANY times by Microworkers and the internet is full of payment proof from the site. That being said, seeing the tremendous amount of negative reviews, I think Microworkers is SELECTIVELY scamming some of its users or at least slowing down the cash flow by sending out PINs via regular mail (Especially that most of their users are from countries in which the mail service is terrible).

If I read these bad reviews before I had enrolled to microworkers as a worker, I would never earn $ 4.000.
Yes, this is the total earned amount here. Very good website, I gain enough money to pay the bills and pocket money. Check out the screenshot:
