Their customer service is terrible
Their customer service is terrible. When you call, you get put on hold and it says, "sorry about your wait time your number 62 caller in line." What the heck! I had to switch my escrow because of switching home insurance companies. I know this is going to be a big pain. Even when setting up the loan, it was so annoying. The rep acted like it was his first day ever on the job. Then, when signing papers, a woman came to my house. She complained that she wished I'd answered my phone because she could have been an hour early. I was in the shower! She said she sat in a gas station parking lot down the road and waited for our appointment and could have been an hour early. Not my fault. When she first got here, she used my bathroom and clogged the toilet and stunk up the bathroom and the dining room just outside the bathroom. Why didn't she do that at the gas station when waiting to come? So, before I signed papers, I had to plunge her massive load of poop down my toilet. Then, she didn't want to take the time to explain much. She just flipped through papers and had X's highlighted. "Sign here, sign here." I asked a question, and she acted like I was a big pain. At least she could have been informative since I plunged the massive load of poop she backed up my toilet, and it was gagging nasty smell. Now, I'll probably spend hours on the phone trying to get my home insurance info changed because they sure don't answer their emails. Even when I had insurance paid up last year, they sent all but *** to ***, and I had to call and call Midwest and be on hold to get them to send the rest. The money was there in my escrow, stupid c*** I had to deal with. I asked why they paid everything but ***, their reply, "I don't know!" What the heck!
Nothing but aggravation with insurance proof every year
Nothing but aggravation with insurance proof every year. This year spoke with K and S and if they are the best this loan servicer has to offer in customer service it is a joke.

Midwest doesn't seem to want you to pay off your loan
Midwest doesn't seem to want you to pay off your loan. I called and was 75 in the queue, but I wanted them out. I let them know I wanted to pay my loan in full and was told by the customer service rep that I would get an email with instructions to pay out my loan, but it never came after three days. This is a mortgage loan and it incurs interest daily, so the longer it's open the more I have to pay.I'm I the only one or is this their business practice?

I wish I could give a 0!
I wish I could give a 0! I requested NOT to have them as my lender when I refinanced but the mortgage broker put me with Gold Star who uses Midwest Loan Services to process the loans. They PUNISH you for wanting to make bimonthly payments by charging a fee! You pay ahead when you do that not behind! The whole point is to pay less interest not more! I can't switch mortgage companies at this point I am just screwed! I will refinance again as soon as I can just to get away from them!

The processing of my mortgage payment is unreliable with MIDWEST Loan Services
The processing of my mortgage payment is unreliable with MIDWEST Loan Services. The payment is due nlt the 16th of the month. The Dec 2020 payment was mailed Dec 07 and had not been received/processed as of Dec. 23. MIDWEST wants me to pay a late fee which I do not want to pay. I have excellent payment history with this loan of 20 years which transferred from Arlington Schools Federal Credit Union (ASFCU). My Sep payment was mailed and processed in seven days, Oct five days and Nov four days.

Recently refinanced my home with a local credit union who has Midwest "service" the loans for them
Recently refinanced my home with a local credit union who has Midwest "service" the loans for them. I think when you reference "service" with this company, it should be used loosely. Had I known that it is impossible to get in touch with anyone in a timely manner to resolve account issues, have questions answered, or simply ask why the (3) account numbers listed on the loan do not enter into online *** pay correctly I would have looked elsewhere for my refinancing needs. While the credit union can still take payments, that's all they can do and even they have a hard time contacting someone for a timely answer. To make matters worse, their online portal for managing your account is not up date and extremely archaic. While I made sure to ask if the loan would be held locally and was informed "yes" but we have another service manage the payments, I guess now I will consider that answer differently. I would not recommend financing anything with any lender that uses Midwest Loan Services.
This company operates like it's from the 1990s
This company operates like it's from the 1990s. It is EXTREMELY difficult to access your account information on-line and user interfaces and navigation is incredibly onerous. If you elect to pay by phone, GOD help you, you will be routed through a maze of prompts, then enter your bank account number, your routing number, your loan number, your social security number, the date you want to post the payment, and if you press a wrong digit, you must start again. It's the most UN-user friendly interface known to man. It's designed to make you curse and crush your phone. It is NOT simple and easy. These people have no idea how to operate in the modern digital age, they're run by bean counters from ages past that are clueless. Customer service and simplicity is NOT their forte. Hire some new tech you elastic waistbanded, white-haired, exasperating [censored]s. I hate dealing with these people and companies like this, it's just so aggravating. Some bean counters are obviously running the show and there is clearly no need for them to deal with the modern age.

Finally got through on phone and they said they would send it over. Waited a few days and still nothing. Had to call again and they finally sent it. Overall, not the best experience but at least they eventually got it done.

This compny has unexptable wait times for custmr service
This compny has unexptable wait times for custmr service. They are my mortgge loan servicer and I have no option to choose another compny. If you call their ***# ***-262-6574...you will be forced to wait around 1 hour to speak with someone--you will not get an option to have them call you back and you have no choice to go to another company, this is unexptable.

Midwest Loan Services refinanced my mortgage earlier this year
Midwest Loan Services refinanced my mortgage earlier this year. They haven't taken out my last 2 house payments, so my escrow is short and I can't pay off the loan. I talked to them on the phone and they said they'd fix it in 2 days, but it's been 2 weeks and I haven't heard back. I emailed them 3 times and called them a bunch, but no one answered. Their website says my loan will be paid off in ***, but it's a 15 year loan. They said they'd fix it, but they haven't yet.
On March 4th, I got a letter from Midwest Loan Services saying they needed new hazard insurance info for my condo
On March 4th, I got a letter from Midwest Loan Services saying they needed new hazard insurance info for my condo. They said if I didn't give it to them, they'd get their own insurance and charge me a lot. I sent the documents to the email they gave me right away. But then on March 29th, they sent me another notice. So I sent the info again and asked them to confirm they got it. I did it again on April 2nd when they didn't confirm. On April 5th, I talked to a customer service person who said they'd fix it. I sent the documents to them and they said they got them. But then I got a third notice that said FINAL NOTICE and threatened to charge me $4000. I talked to another person and sent the documents again. They said they got them and would follow up in 24 hours, but they didn't. I still don't know what's going on.
Started on 11/17 trying to pay my monthly mortgage
Started on 11/17 trying to pay my monthly mortgage. Midwest Loan Services rep said I could pay straight from my *** Money Market account. Gave account number and TruWest routing number and paid through TruWest *** Pay. Mortgage never paid and got charged $35.00 for NSF. That Money Market account had $3205. 00 at time of payment. Called Midwest Loan Services many times, each time on hold for over an hour. 11/23 Talked to *** their rep who confirmed I could pay from Money Market. Gave account and routing number and amount to be paid. Again the mortgage was not pad and I got a notice of 'BAD CHECK'. At this time that account had $2940.00.00 balance. I was again charged $35.00 but TruWest reversed this charge. Finally, I paid the December mortgage over the phone on 12/01, (due date) from checking account with TruWest. Had to transfer money to the account but I am being charged $25.00 in "Other Charges" I shouldn't have to pay.
I asked for a payoff amount in Dec 2021 for our mortgage with TruWest, serviced by Midwest Loan Services
I asked for a payoff amount in Dec 2021 for our mortgage with TruWest, serviced by Midwest Loan Services. They sent a letter on 12/7/22 with payoff amount and instructions. We wired $164,221.44 on 1/5/22 per their instructions to satisfy our mortgage. They didn't acknowledge the wire, so after trying to contact Midwest for a long time, I spoke with *** on 1/7/22, who told me that there was still a balance left to pay off the mortgage. After checking into it further and calling me back, *** told me that the payoff we received was wrong, as it was quoted for Jan 2021 (instead of Jan 2022). She emailed a corrected payoff that didn't give us credit for the amount they received from us on 1/5/22, plus it had additional interest as well as an additional recording fee and release fee (already paid in the amount sent 1/5). I followed up with *** (supervisor) who again said they made a mistake-they acknowledge the error and have corrected their system. There's No Quality Control in place for sending payoff amounts. They hadn't given me credit for the $164,221.44 they received on 1/5 (it was in "suspense"). They are sending yet another payoff figure - now charging me an additional 3+ weeks of interest, plus an additional recording fee and release fee owed due to THEIR ERRORS. They don't have a way to escalate concerns, nor are they willing to waive any fees or interest, even though it was our intention to pay off the mortgage as of 1/7 and I did everything requested to make that happen. The delay is due to THEIR ADMITTED ERRORS. I don't believe their errors should cost us additional money (additional wire fee, interest, and recording/release fees). They've offered nothing to resolve this. Midwest is extremely hard to get in contact with and fails to address the issues, expecting us to pay in excess of $200 to cover for their errors. They are a loan servicing company NEGLIGENT AND IRRESPONSIBLE as a *** of our money/mortgage.
