I was initially booked through Miles and More on a flight with my two sons from JFK via Munich to Rome on September 5 under two bookings: VKXHM5 and VMN3BN. I called Miles and More to change my booking date from September 5 to September 6, same flight routing and returns, and they changed the date as per the attached flight confirmation. On September 6 the day of travel, they sent me an email to check in online. I tried to do so, but I was unable to check in my son Julian. I called Miles and More and they transferred me to technical support, and the person I spoke with was unable to help me either to check in my son. He told me they will be able to help me at the airport. We got to the airport at 2:30 (three hours prior to departure), and the check in agent told me that there is an issue with my son's ticket, and they told me to go to Lufthansa's ticketing agent to fix it. I went and ticketing agent and they said they cannot fix it since that was done through Miles and More and that I need to contact Miles and More. What seems happened that the agent who helped me change the date of travel from September 5 to September 6 did not do this correctly: She changed flight date to the 6th but did not change Julian's ticket. So I contacted Miles and More and they ended up charging me not once, not twice, but three times additional fees to redo my son's ticket. They also took a long time to do this and we ended up missing the flight at 5:30. Then there was a Swiss flight at 8:55 that we ended up booked on, again charging me additional fees to change booking to the Swiss flight at 8:55. As a result we ended up arriving in Rome later in the afternoon on September 7 instead of the morning of the 7th. It is ridiculous on Miles and More and Lufthansa to cause me this grief and loss of vacation time and robbing me of additional money, and all the aggravation that caused me and my family. Therefore, I am hereby requesting you to refund me all the fees you overcharged me because of your mistakes and give me back the miles you charged me for this trip and allow me usage within 6 months. I do not want to give Lufthansa and/or Miles and More any bad online feedback nor reporting either to the Better Business Bureau unless I have to.
