I have travelled with your airline on the 21st of december from riyadh (ksa) to spain laying over in cairo, however I couldn't find one of travel bags once I arrived,
I have filed a report in madrid airport & did all possible things but till now no one can tell me where is my bag.
The last report from riyadh airport stated that the bag is still in cairo and I keep sending them mails but no one is answering.
Very bad customer service and no insurance for the lost items.
I was taking a lot of things for my family for christmas and no one cares about it

I travelled from Mumbai-Cairo-Manchester on the 9th of September on a
student VISA. due to some sort of problem from the airlines end I
haven't yet received my luggage. I would like to claim reimbursement
for my delayed baggage because I had minimal cash on me and I barely
have anything to sustain myself in this new country. all my essentials
were in the baggage that was misplaced so at least reimburse me so

Vandalized and missing luggage
I booked a flight from Lagos to Toronto on the 10th of August 2023 and we had a stop over at Cairo before heading to Toronto. but when we got to Toronto airport i couldn't see two of my bags, i only saw one and fill a complaint form.
Then on the 14th of August one of the bag was delivered without the third bag.

Check baggage
On August 1st, I embarked on EgyptAir flight [MS754] from Madrid to Cairo and flight MS849 from Cairo to Nairobi. To my dismay, upon arriving in Nairobi, I discovered that my checked baggage had been lost and was not available for retrieval. I promptly reported the missing baggage to your staff and provided all necessary information. It took an entire day—24 hours—for my baggage to be located and returned to me. This unnecessary delay disrupted my plans and created undue stress during my trip.
Moreover, my return flight on 10th August from Nairobi to Madrid turned out to be an equally frustrating experience. Once again, upon arriving in Madrid, my baggage was nowhere to be found. I immediately reported the issue to your staff at the airport and submitted all required details for the retrieval of my luggage. However, as of the time of writing this letter, I have yet to receive my baggage, and I am left without my personal belongings for the second time.
These repeated incidents of lost baggage have significantly marred my experience with EgyptAir and have negatively impacted my perception of your airline's services. I have been inconvenienced both in terms of time and resources.
I kindly request that you take immediate action to locate and expedite the return of my missing baggage from my recent flights. Additionally, I urge you to review your baggage handling processes and make necessary improvements to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. I understand that baggage mishandling can happen, but the way it is handled afterward speaks volumes about an airline's commitment to customer satisfaction.

Missing luggage
I flew from Dublin to Johannesburg on Monday 10th July on MS839 - my luggage did not make it to Johannesburg. The ref I was given is MS582973 for my luggage - this does not work on the app or on the website. I still do not have my bag and cannot get hold of anybody at EGYPTAIR! I have been informed by the Dublin branch that my luggage is with the Johannesburg branch but am unable to confirm this - please advise.

Delayed luggage; additional personal costs
Delivery of luggage that should have been on EA 17 Jan 23 flight from JFK to Cairo was delayed until 21 Jan. Luggage was finally delivered 21 Jan in Cairo. Four day delay required me to pur chase $182 of clothing and personal care items. All have been submitted to EA, but they will not reimburse due to lack of original ticket and luggage tag. Record of EA claim filed in Cairo and list for reimbursement have been submitted to EA several times.Original ticket and baggage tag were taken by EA employee at Cairo airport on 21 Jan. EA We Care division will not do anything w/o documents that EA employee took from me on 21 Jan.

Statement Regarding Dereliction of Duty Towards Passengers
On Friday 24th March 2023, my wife, myself and my mother who is 90 years old, boarded flight MS82 from Cairo to Aswan for the 06.15 flight. The scheduled flight time was 1 hour and 10 minutes. The aircraft left Cairo on time. Ten minutes from Aswan it was announced that the aircraft was
immediately returning to Cairo. There was clear haste on the part of the pilot to return. On landing the aircraft was on a remote stand. There was attention being paid to the port engine and on disembarkation of the passengers after about 25 minutes we noted a large pool of oil on the ground under the port engine. I served as an engineer in the Royal Navy and with expertise in gas turbines had a clear idea of the fault. The port side engine of the aircraft had developed a major hydraulic leak.
This is one of three independent systems on the aircraft and is a serious fault. It was obvious to me that the aircraft was out of commission.
The passengers were bussed back to the airport terminal and placed in a lounge without seating for all passengers. Our party left the aircraft last as my mother had to descend the steps to the bus. When
we arrived at the lounge the water and juice being handed out had all gone. One Egypt Air person, the last present, was leaving and when questioned made a vague statement about a flight at 11.00 a.m. Thereafter, about 08.35, there was no one available, no information, we had been effectively
abandoned by Egypt Air. Fortunately, I was able to find a concession two floors up and purchase the last items of available food with coffee. This was important because my mother is a type 2 insulin dependent diabetic. At no point did Egypt Air show any consideration for old and vulnerable people
with special needs on this flight, an appalling dereliction of duty.
Mid-morning an Egypt Air person came halfway down the stairs to the lounge and peeked around the corner (the man on the left in the photo). I asked him for information. He replied that he was just a
security guard. I asked him to bring the Duty Manager. It is clear this person went away and did nothing. At about 11.20 a.m. three people from Egypt Air came back to the lounge. Again, there was no information given. I took a picture of them as a matter of record and immediately received threats
of police action. After midday, the passengers were bussed out to a replacement aircraft. For the cabin there were only two Egypt Air persons, one a female, the other presumably from his shoulder tags a
first officer pilot. This was an old aircraft with dirty windows and stains on the interior. The safety briefing was very ad-hoc and we had no apology
So, we arrived at Aswan very tired, hungry, and de-hydrated. We have no forgiveness toward Egypt Air because.
1. Why did our original aircraft develop a serious fault. It was a relatively new aircraft. Is this
indicative of the maintenance standards of Egypt Air?
2. Basic and fundamental failure to exercise a duty of care toward the passengers. There is clearly an attitude of complacency by Egypt Air.
A journey that was scheduled for just over one hour took eight. We were minded at one point to just
get on the next flight home, a five-hour trip to the UK.
I find your tag line ‘WE CARE’ in these circumstances very insulting. Clearly you do not care. You staff lack any skills to help customers. They would rather run away or threaten them. When you look at the photo, the man on the left is the ‘Security Officer’, in my opinion a coward who does nothing and takes
no responsibility. His colleague in the centre is characterised by arrogance and threats, without realising passengers are the people that pay his salary. I have no issues with the lady. I suggest that both of these men are disciplined with formal warnings about their behaviour.
My requirement is that I received a formal written apology from one of your Directors with an assurance that in future your staff are mindful that some of your passengers have special needs and not to be effectively abandoned. In conclusion as a supposedly customer facing organisation, you
should be ashamed of yourselves. I expect a proper answer, but given previous behaviour, I will take this all the way to your CEO if necessary.

I took a flight from Sharm el Sheikh to Beirut on the 18th of March 2023, with a connection in Cairo (flights number MS29 and MS713).
We were 3 to check in together with 5 checked bags in total. All the 5 bags did not arrive to BEY airport with us so we filed a claim to get the baggage back. The next day, only 4 of the 5 arrived. I absolutely do not understand how only one of the bags, which were all checked and transported together gets lost.
the claim number is BEYMS30119. It is absolutely unacceptable! I live abroad and was planning to visit Beirut for 2 month so I brought EVERYTHING with me. I lost absolutely everything, my cloths, my medications, my work essentials, my souvenirs that I bought drom Egypt...
The bag is a black carry-on sized bag with hard material.
The estimated amount of money for my total loss of belongings (including the Elle suitcase) is over 4000$, adding to that the frustration, anger and inconvenience that happened due to the delay and loss which is priceless. Please let me know if you need full details list of my lost items.

-the flight attendant hit my knees by the car (on purpose!)

I had a connecting flight on 28/11/2022 from Jeddah to Cairo and then from Cairo to London Heathrow. Ticket Number: [protected]
My luggage was checked in at Jeddah airport and I didn't receive it on London airport. The luggage tag number is: MS798099 and the flight number was: MS779.

I was advised I will receive my bag in 48 hours. When I haven't heard anything after 48 hours, I contacted them, and they didn't have any update or information about my luggage.

On the 15 of July 2022, on my return from Luxor to Cairo, my luggage was damaged, as our assistant from Cultura Travel retrieved the luggage the damage was immediately seen and we went to the counter and filed the claim for damaged luggage.
On the 17 of July 2022, they emailed my daughter (she was on the trip with me) and requested the following additional documentation and she forwarded me the email (July 19, 2022) so I could get this to them, since she had continued her journey to Paris:

On July 20, 2022 I did per their above requested instructions, sending all the pertinent requested information. To date I nor my daughter have heard from EgyptAir as to this matter of the damaged luggage and the compensation. I again sent them an email after they did not respond when all the request information was sent to them again attaching all that they had requested for this claim and still not response, update as to compensation for my damaged luggage. Soon it will be 2 months since this damage complaint was filed.

Lost luggage but no response from airline or baggage handler
Our bag was lost on 24 July, after a flight from VIE to JHB. Despite communication with Egyptair, they are not provide answers nor compensation so far.
1. My family and I traveled from VIENNA to JOHANNESBURG via CAIRO, leaving VIENNA on 24 July (flights MS798 and MS839). Upon arrival in Johannesburg our one suitcase was missing. This was reported to the baggage handlers, but we received no reference number, as we had to rush to our connecting flight to Cape Town. We were given a telephone number (Menzies Aviation, JHB ) and were able to contact them once, when they re-assured us that the report had been logged and that they would contact us as soon as there was news. However they have not contacted us on the telephone number and e-mail address that we gave, and there is now no answer on the number they gave us. We are very disappointed by this poor customer service and wish to claim for the lost luggage.

Lost baggage
We lost our checked baggage, it never come on the belt on our final destination.
It's been over 2 weeks, there is no satisfying response from Egypt air or Swissport (Managing lost and found at JFK airport, New York).
We boarded the flight from Mumbai, India to JFK, NewYork (layover at Cairo).
There is no way to inquire about the baggage status via egypt air customer care number, nothing works.
Responses to our email comes with great delay, it's very frustrating.
