I looked everywhere for a wedding dress to suit me but couldn't find one until I found the Minel.com.au website. I found the most beautiful knee length wedding dress on the site that was exactly what I was looking for.
So, I decided to pay the AUD$304.00 for a custom made dress being a strange size between a Australian 4-6 My choice was the Minel Beach Short Wedding Dress, product code T801 525 317 575 in the ivory colour.
When it arrived about 5 weeks later, I was devastated to find a hideous oversized, poorly sewn dress that looked like a fancy dress costume. It was also stark white!
I emailed Minel straight away telling them about my upset and asked for a refund but they offered only to re-make the exact dress with the same measurements but I didn't want another one!
They absolutely refused a refund so I asked them to make a similar dress but it was priced at AUD$80 extra so they said no. Then they cut communication with me altogether.
This site needs to be closed down and the people banned from selling dresses online. They are thieves and totally irresponsible. I am looking into legal avenues so they cannot post items to Australia but unless more people who have similar experiences complain, they will continue getting away with it.
