I have washed F-150 truck at Mister carwash from Taylorsville throughout two years. At beginning of 2023 in March I realized the brushes that car wash uses wear out the paint on the truck body at various impact points on the its frame, such as front grill trim upper side, side windshield body frame, top side or the doors frame, plus it scratched the lower trim of the camper back window, and doors side. Initially I did not realize right away the paint damage was from their brushes but due to the area of damage and the pattern it eventually made sense. My immediate thought was that the car wash would never take responsibility for the damage so I paid and painted most of the damaged areas less the ones by the windshield and above the door frames which I only noticed after 3-4 months of the last wash at that location, as I took a closer look after taking it to the car repair body shop.
I informed the car wash and they took pictures of the area. They reached out to me immediately and said they would not compensate me for the damage because I had waited too long and that also they refused to acknowledge their brushes would have caused that damage. It was the reaction I expected. Lack of accountability and blatant lies. I can only keep warning others at this point and make sure people will start avoiding this business to avoid damage to their cars.
Desired outcome: The outcome should be obvious in terms of damage financial compensation, which was denied, but I am sure God has most adequate means to adjust your lack of accountability and cowardness.
