Capturing Memories with Mixbook: A Personalized Review
As someone who cherishes memories and loves to create beautiful keepsakes, I recently had the pleasure of using Mixbook to design a photo book. The experience was delightful, from the moment I started crafting my book to the joy of holding the final product in my hands. Mixbook's platform is intuitive and user-friendly, allowing me to bring my vision to life effortlessly. The quality of the printed book exceeded my expectations, showcasing vibrant colors and crisp images that truly captured the essence of each moment. What truly stood out to me was Mixbook's exceptional customer service - they were attentive, responsive, and ensured that my experience was nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend Mixbook to anyone looking to preserve their memories in a beautiful and personalized way.
I have been making some photo books from ritz camera
I have been making some photo books from ritz camera for our daughters birthday parties for a couple years. I stopped this year due to the high cost. I found mixbook and the price is almost half of what I have been paying. The quality looks even better and it is really easy to use the website.
Very satisfied
I have made a number of memory books using the Mixbook format.
I found it pretty easy to use and there was a chat partner if I had questions. Once you learn the ins and outs it is easy to use.
I have been very please. Proofing is a little difficult. I always find a few typos when I get the real book. Will continue to use.

Great experience
This is my third book from mixbook and they did not disappoint. I needed a book in a hurry and didn't have time for trying other sites to see if they had overcome their issues (they all have something). While they can improve the features on the layouts still, they get an extra star for meeting my timeline with a great quality book.
Wonderfully easy to use and they offer great deals!
When we recently lost our son as a full term, still birth baby, we were heartbroken! A friend shared Mixbook with us, as an easy, yet beautiful way to make a memory book of our son.
It was easy for me to figure out and use at a very hard time for me. Any questions I had were answered very quickly, very precisely and kindly. I highly recommend Mixbook.com
Extremely robotic customer service
Extremely robotic customer service. I'll get an email saying my order is delayed and customer service will say " I'll be receiving it possibly the next day " I'll call again and they say it hasn't even been printed yet. Very bored pat answers, lick the can down the road. I ordered in plenty of time for the holidays within there time frame. Extremely frustrated. Making the book was fun and pain free but I feel like a dupe at the moment and this will impact on my gifts this season.
Mixbook: Easy-to-Use Website, Outstanding Customer Service, and Stunning Book Delivery
Mixbook's website is super duper easy to use. Like, seriously, it's a piece of cake. They've got a whole bunch of designs for you to pick from, so you can find the perfect one for your book. And get this, once you've chosen a design, you can totally change, move, or even delete stuff. It's like having the power of a magician in your hands!
So, here's the deal. They had this amazing promotion going on, but guess what? I didn't finish my book in time. Bummer, right? But hey, no worries! I decided to hit up their customer service through the chat feature. And let me tell you, those peeps were on it! They helped me out by applying a brand spankin' new promo code that was just as awesome as the first one. Talk about customer service, am I right?
Now, brace yourself for the best part. They delivered my book a whole day earlier than expected. Can you believe it? I was over the moon! And let me tell you, when I finally got my hands on that book, it was like love at first sight. It was absolutely stunning, like a work of art. I couldn't stop gushing over it!
All in all, Mixbook is the bomb dot com. Their website is a breeze to navigate, their customer service is top-notch, and they deliver the goods in style. If you're looking to create a beautiful book that will make your heart skip a beat, look no further. Mixbook is where it's at, my friend. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Top-Notch Customer Service and Easy to Use: My Positive Experience with Mixbook
I gotta say, my experience with Mixbook was pretty darn good. Every time I had to contact customer service, they were quick to respond and the folks there were real pros.
Now, I gotta admit, I've tried another site before that seemed to have more options when it came to stickers and layouts, especially for those big ol' 8+ pix. But hey, I figured out how to work with my pix on my own. Maybe that's what they expect us to do, ya know?
All in all, my experience was top-notch. The quality of the book was real nice, and the whole thing was easy to use and understand. Importing my pix was a breeze too. I reckon I'd definitely use Mixbook again without a doubt.
Excellent Customer Service and High-Quality Photobooks - 5/5 Stars
I don't usually write reviews, but this company was so good at responding to a missing order I feel like I gotta say something. I sent an email to the company sayin' we ain't got our photobooks even though they were supposed to arrive a few days ago. I checked the tracking info and it said they shipped, but the postal service was takin' their sweet time. Soon as I let 'em know, they got back to me real quick and I got my books in no time. The books were done real nice and I'm super happy. Givin' this company a 5 outta 5 star review.
Mixbook: Affordable, High-Quality Photo Albums That Exceed Expectations
So, I just got my hands on my first Mixbook photo album, and let me tell you, it's been a long time coming. I finally got around to putting together my wedding album, and believe it or not, it's been almost 5 years since the big day! Yeah, I know, I'm a bit late to the game, but better late than never, right?
Anyway, I stumbled upon Mixbook while I was on the hunt for a photo album service that wouldn't leave me penniless. I mean, who wants to break the bank just to preserve their precious memories? Not me, that's for sure! So, I took a chance and decided to give Mixbook a shot. Now, I have to admit, I was a little skeptical at first. I mean, the reviews were all over the place, and that made me a tad bit nervous.
But let me tell you, when I received my album, all those worries melted away. The quality of the book is top-notch, and it feels like it should cost a pretty penny (though it's not as pricey as some of the other websites I checked out). I couldn't be happier with how my wedding album turned out. It's like a little piece of art that I can proudly display on my coffee table.
And let's not forget about the shipping. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! It arrived at my doorstep in no time at all. I didn't have to wait around for ages, wondering when my precious album would finally make its grand entrance. Nope, Mixbook made sure to get it to me quick, and for that, I am grateful.
So, a big thank you to Mixbook for exceeding my expectations. You've won me over, and I can confidently say that I'll be ordering more photo books from your company in the future. Keep up the great work, and keep those memories alive!
Disastrous Book Bindings Ruin Otherwise Good Photo Printing from Mixbook
The photo printing from Mixbook is really good, gotta give them that. But let me tell you, creating a book with them is a total waste of time and effort. I mean, seriously, the bindings on these books are a disaster. They either come already torn apart or they just fall apart as soon as you start flipping through the pages.
I'm beyond dissatisfied, man. I spent months working on this book, pouring my heart and soul into it, and not to mention the hundreds of dollars I shelled out to get it printed. And what do I get in return? A book with a busted binding and pages that just won't stay put. It's a real bummer, you know?
Sure, Mixbook tried to make it right by giving me a second copy for free. But even that didn't fix the problem. The quality is still unacceptable. I mean, what's the point of getting a replacement if it's just gonna fall apart again? It's like putting a band-aid on a broken bone, it ain't gonna fix nothing.
I'm so disappointed, man. I wasted half a year of my life and all that hard-earned cash on Mixbook, only to be left with a useless book. Now I gotta start all over again with another company. It's such a hassle, you know?
So, take my advice and steer clear of Mixbook. Save yourself the time, effort, and disappointment. Find another company that actually knows how to make a book that doesn't fall apart. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Mixbook: All Talk, No Action
I done ordered two books from Mixbook, and the latest one got done and delivered in January 2022.
Pros:
It's real easy to use, no fancy stuff needed
They got a whole bunch of stickers and backgrounds to fancy up your project
The cover on this thing is just plain BEAUTIFUL, all laminated and hardbound
Cons:
Now, they say if you ain't 100% satisfied, you can email BEHAPPY.COM, but let me tell ya, that's a load of crap. I had a bunch of pages in my book that didn't print right, they got these weird stripes goin' across 'em, like the ink was runnin' low or somethin'. I emailed customer service and sent 'em some pictures, and I even emailed BEHAPPY.COM, but it's been 3 weeks and I ain't heard a peep from Mixbook. Seems like they don't really care if I'm happy or not, they just want me to disappear. I spent a whole lotta money on this book, it had 207 pages, so you can imagine how much I forked over.
I sure do wanna BE HAPPY, but right now Mixbook is all talk and no action.
Disappointing Experience with Mixbook: Terrible Customer Service and Failed Promises
I went to mixbook cuz the online site said they were rated the highest overall for photo books, BIG MISTAKE. They're alright when it comes to user ease, but when I had an issue, you can't even reach someone who can help with their editing tools. No one speaks English good enough to understand your questions. Then, when I finally gave up on the issue 'cause I needed the book for a super special event, I ordered and paid extra for 2 day shipping and they promised the book would be here today, but guess what? NO BOOK. When I chatted online and then called again, no one can help. They gotta email their print team and wait for a response. I spent a ton of time on a really special book for a special occasion and no one there could care less and won't or just plain can't help. I ain't never gonna use them again. Just TERRIBLE customer service.
Disappointed with Mixbook's Missed Holiday Deadline and Lack of Customer Service
I switched from Shutterfly to Mixbook 'cause of the reviews. They had this counter thingy that told me when I gotta submit the book to get it in time for the holidays. I was ready to pay extra for rush delivery or whatever it took to get it on time - and done before their timer ran out. I had like 50 people helpin' me with the book, so there was a lotta pressure on me to come through. I barely made it with 15 minutes left and BAM! They hit me with a message sayin' the book will arrive on 12/28. Can you believe it? I dropped EVERYTHING just to meet THEIR deadline and now I'm missin' Christmas. Shutterfly never let me down like this before. I reached out to customer service twice already. If I get a Christmas miracle, I'll update my review. But right now, I'm super frustrated with Mixbook and I'll be takin' my business back to Shutterfly in the future. So, watch out for those fake deadlines that get your hopes up and then leave you hangin'. :(

Disappointing Customer Service and Shipping Charges: My Experience with Mixbook
I gotta tell ya, last year I decided to try out Mixbook for my annual photo calendar. I had heard good things about it, so I thought, why not? Well, let me tell you, it was not a smooth ride.
First off, when I wanted to order more than 10 calendars, they made me fill out this online form to request a quote for a bulk order. Like, seriously? Ain't nobody got time for that! So, I decided to chat with one of their agents to see if they could help me out. The agent said they could give me a promo code for 50% off, which would match the bulk rate. I was like, great! Problem solved! But seriously, why can't they just automate the bulk order quote? It's a mystery to me.
So, I placed my order and guess what? The shipping charge for 50 calendars was a whopping $106.50! And then they had the audacity to add sales tax on top of that. The total price ended up being almost $800, which is double what VistaPrint was gonna charge me. So, I decided to chat with them again about the shipping. But let me tell ya, I got no sympathy and no help! I mean, come on! If I shipped a box of 50 calendars from California to Nashville, it would cost me less than $40. The post office could do it for just $10!
So, I sent them an email asking for assistance. And you know what? Their reply didn't offer any explanation or justification for the crazy shipping charge. Instead, they just referred me to their Volume discount team. Turns out, the first agent's promise about the discount code was a big fat lie.
But wait, it gets even better! I had filled out their bulk order quote request, giving them my email address and phone number, and I specifically checked the box for phone as my preferred contact method. Their website clearly states that they will respond to the quote request using the preferred contact method within 24 hours. Well, guess what? Later that day, I received an EMAIL with a quote. I was like, hold up! Wasn't I supposed to get a phone call? I had some other issues to discuss, like getting a proof and sales tax exemption. So, I tried contacting their chat support, but it was a complete waste of time. They just didn't understand my concerns and couldn't provide any actual help. And get this, there was no manager or supervisor available to assist me. Can you believe it? I explained to the rep that this was a big order and there was potential for a lot of future business, but it didn't matter to them. I even reminded them that their website asked me how I wanted to be contacted and promised to respect my preference. But nope, they didn't care.
And then, I received a SECOND EMAIL from the bulk order guy, responding to my request for a call by sending ANOTHER EMAIL! Are you kidding me? I replied, "I'm ready to receive the PROMISED PHONE CALL!" I mean, how hard is it to make a simple phone call?
Finally, way past the 24-hour mark, I got a call from this guy named Jonathan Lee. No explanation, no apology. He didn't even bother to give a reason for their strange policy of taking longer on big orders. And why did they respond to my second request for a call with another email? It made no sense!
After all the frustration, I asked Jonathan to give me a sales pitch. I wanted to know why, after all this mess, I should still choose Mixbook to print my calendars. And you know what? He had nothing! Absolutely nothing to say.
I just don't get it, man. Why do I have to fight with Mixbook just to buy stuff from them? I was ready to spend $500, and they couldn't even make a simple phone call to close the deal. It's mind-boggling! Their customer service reps are useless, and the company doesn't seem to care. They don't even try to do what they say they will do on their own website. It's like they want to frustrate new customers on purpose.
I gave up, except for sending a desperate email about my terrible experience to what I thought was the CEO's email address. Surprisingly, I actually got a phone call from the CEO himself. I told him the whole awful story, and he seemed genuinely concerned. As a show of good faith, he gave me a really good deal on my calendars, which turned out beautifully. That's the only reason I'm not giving them a one-star review.
The CEO promised to "fix root causes," so I thought, maybe they've changed. Last month, as I was getting ready to design my 2020 calendar, I decided to give Mixbook another chance. But guess what? Nothing had changed on their website. So, I sent an email to Mr. Laffoon, the CEO, asking if any changes were in the works. That was a month ago, and guess what? No response! I guess he wasn't taking my feedback seriously after all.
But here's the kicker. I received not one, but two emails from different managers at Mixbook, inviting me to have a phone call to discuss my experience with the company. I replied, gave them all the information they asked for, including the best time to call me. And you know what? They never called me!
This company claims to be interested in listening to customers, but they can't be taken seriously. It's just a big disappointment.
Mixbook Complaints 3
Very Low Quality, Horrible Reliability ~ Not Worth the Headache Dealing With Them!
Have used Mixbook on/off for 7+ years now. I don't know if there's been a substantial change in ownership or due to offshoring customer service teams, but in the past 2 months alone, have had 3 orders ALL with substantial, glaring issues. The first was a photo book that, when it arrived, had a piece of someone's gum stuck to the first page, and the photos were not even printed properly. Obviously that warranted a reprint, which they offer almost immediately whenever there's an issue, but even the re-print (that was said to have "extra quality control" on it) had a ridiculous amount of errors (printing streaks on the pages, still blurry photos for perfectly clear source images, etc.)
Against my better judgement, I nonetheless placed another, larger order for a different photo book and paid expedited shipping on the order. The day before it was "set to arrive" and no tracking information had been updated, I contacted them inquiring about it, and the agent claimed while no tracking was updating, she could confirm from her end that the item was set to deliver the next day. The next day, nothing arrived and I reached out again, and that agent then claimed he saw it was set to arrive the following day instead. Two days after that and still no order arrival, I contacted them again and then an agent proceeds to tell me that there was a mix-up, and the order was still sitting at the printing location WAITING to be picked-up. So all these agents "confirming" it was en route to me somehow were "mistaken" (aka LIED). Since then, it's been nothing but a headache dealing with "customer service" who continually lie about why this occurred to begin with and why I was repeatedly told that it was enroute when they could see it was actually just sitting around at the printer's office still, having not even been picked up by the courier. They offer to reprint the order (of course) and when it arrives, I notice the binding is not even intact - the pages are literally about the fall out of the spine. When contacting them about it, am of course just offered yet another reprint and claim this is a 1-time occurrence and the "quality check team somehow missed it"... or more like, they don't even HAVE a quality check team, quite clearly.
Dealing with Customer Service throughout all this, is a total headache to say the least. There's a translation issue, and they repeatedly just lie to tell you what you want to hear rather than the truth... clearly says a lot about how many problems with orders there are, in that the second you mention something wrong they immediately want to reprint it. Probably because they know how horrible their products turn out to be and are okay with it.
TL; DR = If you want to spend tons of time crafting your products, and then have them arrive with 0% effort made on quality control and then just keep being offered reprints of equally shoddy quality, then Mixbook is the company for you to use! If not, better off using an actually legitimate company who cares about the quality of the products they produce for longtime customers.
Frustrating Payment Process and Unhelpful Customer Care: A Mixbook Review
So, I recently had a bit of a frustrating experience with Mixbook. I wanted to purchase a calendar, but boy, oh boy, did I run into some trouble. I attempted to make the payment not once, not twice, but a whopping five times! Can you believe it? It was a complete disaster. Each time, my payment failed miserably. I was at my wit's end.
Finally, I had to resort to using my wife's credit card to get the job done. It was a real bummer that I couldn't use my own debit card. I mean, what's the deal with that? It left me scratching my head in confusion. I even reached out to their customer care team for some assistance, but let me tell you, they were as clueless as a fish out of water. They had absolutely no idea what was going on. Maybe it was just a banking issue, but whatever it was, it was completely out of my reach.
Despite all the payment troubles, I must say that the quality of the calendar itself was pretty decent. The pictures came out clear and vibrant, and the overall design was quite pleasing to the eye. It's just a shame that I had to jump through so many hoops to actually get my hands on it.
All in all, Mixbook left me feeling a bit disappointed. The payment process was a nightmare, and their customer care team was about as helpful as a broken pencil. But hey, at least the end product turned out alright. If you're willing to endure some frustration, you might just end up with a decent calendar. But be prepared to face some hurdles along the way.
Disappointing Experience with Mixbook: Not as User-Friendly or High-Quality as Snapfish and Shutterfly
This program ain't the easiest to use, I gotta say. It's not as simple as Snapfish and Shutterfly, which I've tried out before. I wrote a review for Mixbook after finishing up my hubby's family book, but I won't get into that right now. Let me just tell ya, the cover of the book feels all rubbery and the binding is real cheap. I dropped a good chunk of change, like several hundred bucks, and now I kinda regret not stickin' with one of them other photo book sites I've used in the past.
