MLive keeps bringing Michigan's Best to my driveway even though I told them twice to stop delivering to my place. I filled out their online form and called a representative, but they still haven't gotten the message.
I haven't got my paper since 1/16/2022
I haven't got my paper since 1/16/2022. I called the press on 1/17, 1/19, 1/21, and today 1/24 to fix this issue. I requested to speak with a supervisor on Friday 1/21, but I'm still waiting for their response.

I paid for a 1 year subscription on Dec 13th, 2021 at ***, ***. This is for my mother in assisted living. She cannot get out and get her own paper. She has yet to receive a single paper. I call every week, I email every week and am promised a lot. Several other papers are delivered to that address for other residents but not my mom.

They refuse to stop delivery of the *** Best advertisement. Over the past 2 months, I've requested 3 times via email that they stop delivery of the *** Best advertisement/paper. Each time, I get an email response promising that they will stop after 8 to 10 work days. They don't stop. I've also tried calling, but no one ever answers the phone and I'm put on forever hold. I just want them to stop leaving their trash in my driveway and keep their promises to me.

I can't stop delivery of a Sunday newspaper. I receive a "free" Sunday newspaper from the ***. I do not want this paper and I SHOULDN'T BE FORCED to receive it. I've called the subscription office 4 times to have delivery stopped. Although they indicate that they show it stopped, the carrier CONTINUES TO DELIVER IT. I do not care that this paper is free, I don't want it delivered to my mailbox anymore. I've indicated above that I want no further contact from this business, which includes mail. If I continue to receive this paper, I'll contact my attorney.

After 3 atempts (4 counting today) to contact the company to quit throwing unsolicited litter into my yard, MLive continues to do this weekly. I moved to this neighborhood a year ago and began to received unsolicited advertisements (litter) thrown into my yard on a weekly basis. I contacted the company 2 times through email and one phone call requesting that they discontinue this practice immediately. They continue to throw from a car litter into my yard. Junk mail is bad enough, but at least they have to pay into our mail system to deliver their junk. This company, thinks it can continue this practice unhindered.

I canceled my press subscription on the day it automatically renewed, which was January 6. I contacted the Press about not getting my refund on January 15, January 24, February 3, February 22, February 24, February 28, March 6, and March 10. They keep telling me that the check is in the mail. They claim they have sent it twice, with the last one being mailed on February 27, from Kentucky. As of March 15, I still haven't received the check. During my last call on March 10, Kimberly in customer service implied that I was lying about not receiving it by using the word "alleged refund." I have seen similar complaints on the internet.

mlive keeps throwing unwanted trash at the end of our driveway AGAIN. I've contacted them multiple times to make this person stop throwing their newspaper there. They usually stop for a while, but then it starts all over again. It's really frustrating. I should only have to contact them once and never see that trash again. If I actually wanted their newspaper, I would subscribe to it. I don't want it to give the impression that we're not home and attract burglars when we're on vacation. It also makes our neighborhood look messy and annoys our neighbors when we don't pick it up because WE DON'T WANT IT. Please tell me what to do so this garbage never shows up in my driveway again.

This newspaper, MLive Media Group, pulled a sneaky move on me. They charged me double the usual price ($6) for what they called a "Special Edition." I didn't ask for it, I didn't expect it, and they didn't even give me a heads up. Normally, my Sunday paper costs $3, and that's the only day I buy it. But without any warning, for the second time this year, they decided to jack up the price without my consent. Thankfully, I happened to have the extra cash on me, otherwise it would have been a wasted trip and an embarrassing situation at the checkout counter. Turns out, this so-called "Special" edition was all about Social Security stuff, which I had already received from the SSA, and information about the November elections, which I had already used to cast my absentee ballot last week. Completely useless to me.

We can't get our paper delivered and can't get anyone (supervisor) to help. We've tried numerous times to correct this. We've paid our bill and no paper. We've tried for some time to fix our delivery problems and have gotten very little, if any, response. We have papers not being delivered, damaged, thrown anywhere in delivery (whenever delivered). We haven't had papers once again, not delivered on Sunday 5/24 and Tuesday 5/26. We've been given a credit, but what does that do to just keep extending our subscription if we DON'T GET THE PAPER. We've asked repeatedly to be contacted by a supervisor but nothing. The delivery person even gave us his number to call, but it's been disconnected. We left a message on his supervisor's phone that he gave us, but she's unavailable. My wife contacted Customer Service today, was given a credit for the 2 papers, but where is the supervisor or any resolution. WHERE ARE OUR PAPERS.

We canceled "The G.R.P." newspaper on May 1, but Mlive took $132 from our bank account for a "new subscription" and we can't get the money back. We canceled our Grand Rapids Press subscription over the phone in early February . They said they had already taken the money for the next 12 weeks and couldn't cancel until May 1, which we agreed to. We stopped receiving newspapers on May 1. The Grand Rapids Press took $132.00 from our bank account on May 1, for a "News subscription Type Newspaper ID: *** Co. News Subscription". We didn't authorize this withdrawal. I called 4 times after May 1 to get our money back and each time they said we would get it back "within a few days". We haven't received our money back and we haven't received any newspapers. So, they obviously knew before May 1 that we were canceling our subscription, but they still took the money and haven't refunded it.

They also demanded that I disable my ad blocker (and cookies) on my web browser, which prevented me from accessing articles. A. If they showed ads in a less annoying way, we wouldn't need ad blockers. They should learn from *** on how to do it right, unlike MLive. B. Cookies are an invasion of my privacy in most cases. My privacy is important to me, and MLive shouldn't exploit it. I'm sorry to *** from customer support for losing my temper this morning. This complaint is based on the behavior of their webpage on 10/15 (today). The behavior started last week and has only gotten worse.

I received a confirmation, but my paper still was not delivered. I called customer service on Sunday September 13 and was told they would do their best. Still did not receive the newspaper. I called again on Monday September 14 and talked to a supervisor. Still no newspaper. I called again on Tuesday September 15,2020 and talked to a supervisor. Still no newspaper. On Wednesday September 16,2020 I received a call from ***. They told me they had a Sunday newspaper for me that would be delivered by Thursday afternoon September 17,2020. I finally got the Sunday newspaper on Thursday afternoon to late to see the ads and shop during senior hours at the stores on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. On Sunday September 27 I again did not receive my newspaper. I again reported it online and again did not get a redelivery. I again called customer service and talked to a supervisor. I still did not receive my paper. It seems like there is not a problem with taking my money only delivering the services I paid for.
