I bought those two phones at Mall of the North on the 21/10/2018 and when I got home the phones where not functioning.And I am from Mokopane so when i returned them to Mokopane branch they said they can't help me i will need to travel to Polokwane as i have bought them there. I had to travel to Zebediala to go get Candy from there and travel to Polokwane.The expenses they took me.I am seriously not happy about Ackermans services.Now they telling me that they booking my phones for repair and I will have to came get them from Polokwane when they come back. Morning, I bought a Mobicell Astro, less than 2 months ago from PEP at Steeledale, my contact keep disappearing the phone tells me i have no contacts on my simcard and i have over 300. Then i can not even have 4 or 5 photos on then the phone tells me the storage is full. This is really ridiculous, I dont earn alot of money and this phone seemed quite nice. Please how can this be possible I can see all my sim contacts on a little "magoshie"phone, another name for a R99.00 phone with no features at all. What is wrong with this phone. I never enable privacy protection pin but now I'm suffering to call at home
I have phoned cell c technical on numerous occasions for them to find a solution to the network in the Vorna Valley, Midrand area, but it seems as if their technical staff are NOT competent enough to handle or solve the problem(s).
It is very sad for a company of this magnitude to still run off and or share the the Vodacom network.

It is with great disappointment that few minutes after I bought my phone at Mr price in midrand gauteng, I have learnt that my speakers are not functional.but due to work commitments I couldn't return the device to dealer after seven days as stipulated on the contract.i was one day late as per stipulation, though I understood Mr price reasons for lack of assistance back then, because I couldn't agree with 21 days for my to be fixed.
What's making me angry that this week I realized that charging point is dysfunctional
I had to get a private personnel to fix for me .
My doubting that in future I may be able to buy or recommend any mobicel cell devices if this is not well addressed

I bought Mobicel R9 at Mr Price 4 month ago, recently I realized that I am losing contacts, I can scroll through the whole phone book but when I dial the number the name appears and when I click on the contact, it says contact doesn't exist, this is very frustrating as this phone keeps on deleting contacts randomly, I bought the phone cause I love supporting local businesses and all I'm getting is disappointments

Hello.
My phone apps keep crashing. I initially thought it was storage, but i do have that both on the phone and the memory card. I tried uninstalling the apps, but then i cannot re install them. Also i am unable to install other applications.
the phone says its up to date so i am not sure what to do.
I have already cleared the cache in settings.
This had happened before, and i reset the phone. But it still has not resolved the issue, as it has occurred again only after a couple of weeks

I sent my R9plus in for screen repair on the 30 august, i received a quote on 12th september and made payment same day because i was i told i will get it back in the next week. It's been 2 weeks now and im still waiting. I've been calling the store almost every 2nd day for an update and only today 28 September i got info they didn't have parts for my phone and it only dispatched today. Why couldn't mobicel let me know they didn't have parts for my phone long time ago? Or isit just lie to cover their pathetic service!

I've recently buy an mobicel pure mini at jet store in malmesbruy on account.
But sadly the phone has a problem because my system storage takes up the whole space of my internal memory which is really annoying.I also do have a 16GB memory in and still its no use cause the phone first save the info on phone then i have to move it myself even if its automatically put on memory card storage.Want to know what to do or if you can help me.

I bought a Mobicel R2 in Foschini Store Carletonville, the phone's been working well until last month mid August where now when its connected to the charger it continuously restarting, phones keeps on crashing apps, Freezes the entire time even when removed all passwords. I cannot make calls or do anything with the phone especially cellphone banking as it is my primary usage time I bought the phone. I tried resetting the phone several times with no luck it keeps doing the same problems I've mentioned above.

My husband and I bought our R9 plus in January and the other February this year. Both phone were working perfectly and we really loved then. Until they started having charging problem mid July, mine was getting worse everyday and it would only charge till 30% even after being charged the whole night and when it reached 10% it would switch off and wouldn't charge.
On the 12th August I decided to take it in to my nearest Foschini to be booked for repairs at Mobicel as it was no longer charging and was off. First week I called Mobicel and they confirmed to have received the device and its awaiting parts and that I should have it within 2 weeks. After 3 weeks I was told they still waiting for parts. Week 4 still no parts and week 5 I was told they received them and its been repaired and its with the quality assurance and I should have it soon. The following week I called again and was told they found another problem and its back to repairs. Last week I called yet again and was told its back to quality assurance. I just got of the phone with your call centre lady who told me its waiting for parts AGAIN.
This is totally unacceptable and unfair. Whats the use of having a phone its its going to sit at repairs for 8 weeks. And is the same service my husband is going to receive and wait when he books his phone with you guys.
I really need my phone back urgently or a replacement.
Hi I have purchased my R9plus 12 Dec 2017 and December 2018 it just stopped charging. I plug it in, it says charging then after a few minutes it stops. Is there anyway to fix it as the warrentee just ended its almost like they knew how long the phone would last. So frustrated.
Eish mine is doing the same. And now I am even afraid of taking it for repairs because it might be take long to fixed and Im using it for everyday business,

I am extremely disapointed with the mobicel berry phone... Since I bought the phone it gave me trouble... It is slooooooooow, it "hangs", it just dies, even if the battery is full... Applications just stop working... It is a mess! Tried to take it back to the store... They refused exchanging it, saying it needs to go in for repair... What nonsens is that!? I have now inserted a 32GB Memory Card into the handset, selected the "Default Write Disk" as SD Card and STILL THE HANDSET TELLS ME TO FREE UP SPACE! WHY! It's as though even though the Default Write Disk is SD Card, the handset STILL INSTALLS ONTO THE PHONE & NOT THE MEMORY CARD. So now I need to send iy for repairs as it is past the 7-Day Out of Box Failure Date. I just want this handset REPLACED WITH ONE WHICH ACTUALLY WORKS PROPERLY! IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK? My tablet has always battled to charge. Taken a long time compared to what I'm used to. The battery life is poor too. For the last week it shows it's charging, but the percentage doesn't pick up much, and never more than 72%. I'm disappointed, as this tablet is only 3 months old, and it's my life line, so I can't send it in for repairs and be without a tablet for weeks.

I just want to find out / know how much it costs to repair broken lcd of the above phone? Last quote I got was almost 50% of the phone's value - which somehow to me doesn't make sense. Also where is the nearest center or place where one can buy parts for this phone rather than having to part ways with a lot of money just to get their phone fixed?

from the instant i started using the cellphone, everytime i tried to receive a call I failed to unlock by swiping upwards until the caller cut off nometer how many times i swipe. It was unfortunate I bought it too far from where I stay. my contact number is +268 [protected] . I stay in the kingdom of Eswatini. now i must plan for a return trip to return the phone. I purchased it at Nasi at Achamans in RSA. is it possible to get a refund or replacement since it it not economical for me to travel twice if they claim it needs to be repaired and collected later. It also made me loose confidence in the product in that I failed to use it from the word go.

I purchased the Mobicel R6handset on 30 July 2018 at Jet store in Chatsworth.
I had major issues with handset, namely the touch screen was faulty and the handset continued to switch off, in addition it was closing all apps and saying system and android not responding etc.I returned it to Jet Chatsworth on the 2 August 2018 and they replaced it.
The new handset as well had similar problems, closing apps, system and android not responding, switching off and not coming even if rebooted.
I went back to Jet Chatsworth on 27 August 2018 and they want to repair it again... Handset is only three weeks old and so much issues.
I am not at all happy with the handset as I mentioned above, I want to reiterate that I don't want the phone replaced nor repaired again..I have been inconvenienced and I have going back and forth to the Jet branch.
I request a full refund of R1199, 00 immediately.
Please treat this matter as an URGENT REQUEST!

Another thing at the time the phone was working I could not make any calls or load airtime... Only the wifi and data I had on my sim worked... Only the network but I could not make or receive calls...
This is the 4th time I purchase a mobicel and the other 3 never gave me such huge problems... But now I have to wait long for the phone... No updates via calls... I have to call in everytime to the store... The cellphone consultants are forever busy and I am told that I will receive a call back with an update... Very seldom I receive callbacks, I always have to call in...
I even called mobicel and was told the story about the 21 day...
It has been 23 days and from when mobicel received the phone and I was told that it is still in the repairs after I had to call in again today...

what nonsense is this? The phone freezez every chance it get. ..its very slow ...even tortoise is quicker trust me. It makes data disapear even if there are no background apps.

Hi There, I have purchased a Mobicel berry in June 2018 and the battery is ridiculous .It takes forever to charge and also when it reaches 50% it just shuts down. battery only last for 2 hours most when using watsup .This is frustrating and does not serve any purpose as a cell phone.I returned with this complaint to the store i purchased it from and the guy gave me a new battery which is worst that the 1st one.How do I solve this issue

I have this little problem with my phone I have it 7months now and it's the 3 or 4 the time that n need to upgrade to a charger with higher power.
If I plug my phone in it only shows the red light and it doesn't go on or it just shows the lightning bolt .

With my other mobicel when I crossed the bother over to swaziland it also blocked and wanted a protection password
How is it possible that the pakistani guys can unblock the phone for
R300 and mobicel said there is nothing they can do they dont have a password for my phone for the second time this is mind blowing shame for such a big company
