I too ordered the free trial. I did receive the pills but could not take then because of medication I am taking. I called to cancel right away. The man said ok he would cancel my order. Only thing is two checks had already been written on my account. One for $49.95 and one for $58.95. I wish I had seen the complaint board before ordering. I spoke with my bank and I can contest the charges so that is what I am going to do. I will make a copy of all the complaints to help my case.

Company is a fraud... they take money out of your account and do not refund any thing... had to cancel my credit card and get a new one sent to me to have them stop taking money, this is wrong that makes them nothing more than plain thief's... we need to stop this company what if they do this to senior's who don't have a lot of money...

I sent for a trail of 2 day slim down the price was 7.74 it took awhile for it to come. After it came 2 days later they took another 49.95 out of my account, 3 days later they took another 58.93 out since then they have taken a total of226.74 from me. I have spoken to one person who said they will be refunding my money. I will not hold my breath tomorrow I will get in touch with my bank.

I also had funds debited from my account, 58.93 to be exact! Not only could they not find my transaction they sent me to another site, which had nothing to do with them. Someone needs to stop them before they can hurt anyone else!

1. I ordered the product at "NO RISK" on Feb. 2, 2008.
2. I sent an email on March 3, 2008 requesting that my account/membership be CANCELED.
3. My fault for not being specific, I was charged $49.95 on March 6, 2008.
4. I sent an email with all the required information to have my account canceled/CLOSED on March 6th.
5. I received NO RESPONSE!
6. I emailed AGAIN on March 11, 2008 letting momentum direct know that their product is being returned (unopened) and demanding that the money be returned to my account.
6. I AGAIN was charged today (March 13), this time for $58.93 for something I did NOT order and requested to cancel.
7. They have been ILLEGALLY withdrawing from my account (posting as a check which was not per the agreement, I gave my debit card number ONLY!)
I emailed this set of facts today; we'll see what response I get (if any).
DO NOT BUY FROM momentumdirect.net, Momentum or the 2-day slim down... all are rip offs!

I Actually had all the same problems above but I did get thru to the company and they closed my account online and stated that if I return the product they would refund the money. I plan to return the product this morning... i'll keep you posted, my hopes arn't high! good luck everyone!

I ordered your product over 2 months ago, and never received it...I called on Feb 15, 2008 at 9:51am, and talked to a man named Brain, I have a cancellation # [protected]...I asked for my money for the 2 months be redeposited in my checking acct. or the product sent that was paid for. It is now a month later and I haven't heard anything from your company. Now I would just like my money refunded.

Momentum direct stole over 100 dollars out of my account. If i don't get it back i will sue them. I returned their product within the 2 week trial period. I still have the receipt and tracking number. I also have proof i canceled with them after the first time they took money out of my account. Then they took more.

same thing is happening to me. i ordered my product in mid-january, didn't get it til a month later, sent it right back (i didn't even open the bottle) and i have been charged 49.95, and twice for 58.93 while i cancelled the order. i'm calling them monday, and if they don't give me a good reason, i'm going to the bank and telling them i'm being defrauded. they owe me $168.00 and i'm not stopping until i get that money back

I am going through the same thing right now with them. I called and cancelled and they told me I would recieve a refund in the form of a check. And It has been 3 weeks since and now I have a new charge and no refund! It threw my account neg. and charged me 37.50 for a paid check fee. They clame that they cant refund the money to my account but they dont have any problem taking it. And the worst part I NEVER aplied for anything with them! This CO. is a SCAM! And I am going to call the BBB on them.

Money was taken out of my checking account not once but twice! How, i am not sure how it was done? But, i am very, very upset! I did not even receive anything, but i was not expecting anything either! I am a very sick woman and on ssi. I do not order anything, unless it is necessary, and i mean really, really necessary!

All i want is my money back so i get try and get my life and checking account in order. Since February i have spoken to 4 (four) people. The one i spoke to on march 10, 2008 told me i would be receiving a check for the amount due me in 7 (seven) business days and today make 8 (eight). So once again i called again and was told i would have to write this letter to the support in the office then wait for 24 (twenty-four) hours for a response. I personally think all this is a bunch of crock and that is being nice! Please get my money to me as soon as possible. Thanks!

I ordered a sample online from a website affiliated with Momentum Direct about 7 months ago, and just this past week I was sent 4 more samples! I did not place these orders and have since moved and changed my bank account, well I finally had to look up the company online to get their contact info, because none of it was on the invoice from the packages they shipped me.

I spoke to a man who told me that the order had a delay in processing, and I told him that I hadn't placed an order for these so there shouldn't have been an order to delay! I also had him cancel my account and remove all my information.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

I totally agree, they charged our account the same, paid for shipping then was charged 49.95. before i could get my bank account changed, i was charged again another 49.95. luckily my back credit it all back except of one charge of 49.95. Well today in the mail, 3 months later guess what. I received my free 2 day trial. We i have already changed all my bank info so they are not getting any more money but i guess i will go ahead and try the free two day trial. Hope it doesn't kill me

I have been ripped off by these people I was charged $49.95 once for a product I did not receive and was debited 4 times for $58.93. I thought it was another club I was part of so that is why it took a while to figure out. I had called the bank and they thought it was a legitimate charge so I didn't question it again, however now I realize that this was all an error and these people have ripped me off several times.

I ordered this FREE SAMPLE, just pay shipping, w hat a scam. it took a month to get the sample and I called to cancel any furthur shipments, 2 weeks later they took 2 seperate payments out of my bank account. I called and they send they would send a refund check ASAP, well it has been a month, no check.I called and they said it would take 2 more weeks. I left a message for a manager to call me with a refund check number or I would call the police and report them..we will see what happens. I will NEVER order a sample like this again..

I too ordered this product and paid for the shipping. I received the product weeks later, which I returned within the cancellation period but still had 3 payments taken out of my account totaling $160. Unfortunately I was on vacation when this happened and cancelled my account as soon as I saw what they had done.
When I called and threatened my lawyer on them I was told I would have my refund within 2 weeks. This was 3 weeks ago, now when I call it goes to a voicemail and then cuts you off ater 10 seconds.

I definitely think we should contact he BBB and anyone else we can to put this company out of business and somehow make them pay for their crimes.

Good luck to all, I am going to see what I can do to publicize this more, this is not the end of it for me!

I don't know who is getting charges for this but I keep receiving someone elses product from these people and can't stop it. They have sent it 3 to 5 times and I am sure some one else has to be paying for it from what I have read.

UGH! I just got off the phone for the THIRD time with this scamming company. I ordered the free trial, got charged shipping and THEN after cancelling because the product did not work, I get charged 58.93! I call to complain, they tell me that they had already shipped out the product so they could not refund me until I returned the product. I waited 10 days, bet you can't guess what happened?! SUPRISE SUPRISE I never recieved the product! Today they tell me I will be recieving a check in the mail for a full refund but it will be another 2 weeks! They can't explain why I never recieved the product or give me a tracking number for the supposedly sent out product. Well I just know I will be receiving a check soon from this company...oh yeah...I just woke up from my dream world! I will be calling my bank now and a lawyer too!

This company lures you in with the typical "free sample" . They charge your debit card for shipping. They never send the sample, and when you cancel they keep charging your account without authorization. They only way you can stop them is to close your account and open a new one. Real leeches!

Your bank cashed these electronic checks they are liable. You can get your money back from your own bank. They let the checks go thru after you already wrote bills on these check #'s. Contact your bank. they need to give you your money back

I also was taken by Momentum Direct with money coming out of my checking account since Oct. 2007 thru present Mar. 2008. I never received any merchandise until about 2 weeks ago and again 3-26-08. I sent back my 2 boxes 2DAY UPS so I have a tracking number and the person who signed for it. My merchandise came out of St. Louis, Mo. and that is where I sent it back too. The bank has credited me with the money taken out if Jan-Feb-Mar. of 2008. They sent me papers to fill out and send back to see if they can collect the other money. Call you bank (Fraud Division) and report it. They will close your account and you will need to open a new account in person at your bank. I even had the bank issue new debit cards too. When I ordered my new checks I had only my Initials put on instead of my full name. Hope that helps you. I guess we all can learn from this. Do not order anything especially if you don't know the company. There are a lot of companies that are ripping off people. It is a shame. There is a new add for pills I think and they are going under the name Momentum Worldwide. Watch out! As I think about it now, how safe do we know that these products are. We do not know. Even be careful of the infomercials on TV with any of your information you give them. Good Luck and keep the sight posted. I have not been able to reach anyone for over 2 weeks and there number is not toll free. Everyone beware!

The same thing happened to me.

File a complaint through the BBB (Better Business Bureau) with the State of Texas (where Momentum Direct is based). The BBB will contact Momentum and give them 25 days to resolve the problem before being officially investigated. Because Momentum OBVIOUSLY does not want to be under legal scrutiny- they'll mail your refund check immediately. I just received my FULL refund ($168) today. Thank GOD.

I ordered a trial and was supposed to pay for shipping only. They took my bank account details. I sent the product back within the first week of receiving it.

A first unauthorized amount of $49.95 came off my bank account a week later. Then every single week an unauthorized amount of $58.93 has come off. That is a total of $210.86.

I have launched a complaint with the fraud branch of my bank and put a stop payment on those electronic checks.

I think it it outrageous. How does this sort of thing happen?
There should be a class action suit against this company!

I was the one who posted this complaint. Not only did I post here, but I also filed a complaint against Momentum Direct with the Better Business Bureau. That day I received an email confirming that my membership has been canceled. Then, that weekend I received priority mail, a check for the full amount that I was owed. My advice to anyone having trouble with this company is to file a complaint with the BBB and the FTC and you should get a positive result. Good luck!

I completely agree with every comment that is on this page. Back in Dec07, i put a stop payment on their checks that they take out of my account(which is the amount of %58.93). So I have been getting refunded until now. On 3-31-08, they came with another check, but they changed the check numbers to get around my stop payment! These guys are out to get their money ANY WAY THEY CAN!

I mistakenly ordered a diet product from Momentum Direct in July 2007. I never used the product because the warnings listed on the bottle were never divulged in the original advertisement, and I didn't want to take a chance on my overall health. I didn't return the product within the time limit, and paid the $49.95 charge, plus shipping, as I agreed to do. I contacted the company and cancelled membership, and didn't receive any more products, until 9 months later, when a package unexpectedly showed up in my mailbox. I called and was directed to return the product and the charges would be dropped. I even received a confirmation number. I returned the product as directed, yet was still charged an additional $49.95, plus shipping. Today, one month later, I received the same product again. I have contacted my credit company and have asked that no further payments be sent to this company.

I wish I had known about this site before, as I wouldn't have taken the chance in the first place. Personally, I will not order any product online again, unless it's from a reputable company that I know of and trust.

I cancelled my account with momentum direct and returned shipments. However they keep taking money out of my account after writing to them, that I no longer want their product and demanded a full refund. If this continues I will pursue legal action against momentum direct.e5

This company is a big scam. I also was debited money from my acct. we need to put a stop to it. I want my money back and I'm tired of hearing from them that they are going to refund my money back, and nothing, I havent received no product from them and no money either. we need to put a law suit to this scam company.

I ordered a product in Oct. 07, canceled future shipments, and they still debited money fro my checking account for 4 months. I spoke to them... they stopped the debits and promised to mail me a refund. Jan. 07 was the first date I rec'd for the refund. No check came. I have been calling every 3 weeks and promised new dates. 'We reassure you, you will receive a check in 7-10 business days' I have continued to call and now it is April 08 and on money has been sent to me. I have called the Accounting Department and the 'mail box in full' When I have been able to leave a message, no one has returned my call.

I live in NW Houston and plan to drive to Magnolia directly... they will issue me a check on the spot or I will contact the local News. I'll keep Ripoff informed of my endeavors. Plan to visit Magnolia later this week. DO NOT ORDER ANY PRODUCT FROM THEM... THEY ARE A SORRY COMPANY!

I was going to try the product then changed my mind. somehow they got my account info that I did not give out. They took out $176.79 four times out of my account. These people need to be stopped. that's almost $800.00 dollars. I am raising four grandchildren and that would go along ways to by shoes, clothes and food for them. What do we have to do to stop them.

I have read so many different complaints from so many different sites. Momentum Direct has managed to successfully forge 3 checks that total the amount of $839.05. And just like so many of you my bank would do NOTHING to help me. Their only response was to close my account and that this dispute was between me and Momentum Direct. I spent three days trying so hard to get through to the customer service numbers that were posted on the forged checks with nothing but constant ringing. These charges to my account not only were taken from me unauthorized, but they put my account in the negative. I can't stress enough, DO YOUR RESEARCH! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE FRAUDS!~!

This company will not respond to any correspondence and will not stop charging our bank account, or stop sending us there products. We have sent numerous boxes back unopened.

Hi everyone. I read most of the complaints and they were just like mine. Please listen to me... There was one post I read and it actually helped me get my money back! I urge you all to do the same so for 1 you can get your money back and for 2 STOP these people (Momentum Direct). Here is the info I read that helped me get my mony back. I also called this # [protected] and actually got a live person and she was the one who e-mailed me to tell me they were going to refund all my money back and they did. I am sooo happy to say they sent a check for the amount of $ 117.86 back to me. PLEASE DO THIS SO YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY BACK AND HOPEFULLY COMEPLETELY STOP THESE PEOPLE! Here is the all the info I copied from this angel that got me my money back...

they offer a free trial all that needs to be paid thru online checking only is s&h, but when you receive the trial offer it is only for 1 week and the total cost after the 30day trial is 49.95, what i ended up getting taken from my checking account was s&h 7.97, 49.95 1month later, 58.98 14days later and 58-98 2days after that. i still have not been able to contact them for my money and my bank cant help as it was an automatic checking withdrawl.

someone needs to stop these people taking advantage of hard working people.

they are a fraud and should be stopped immediately!

They sent me unsolicited pills through the mail with a copy of PAY PAL subscriptions. If I had returned this form the would have had my e-mail address and credit card#. This was reported to the US Postal Service. I sent no money and I don't believe they have any credit info. because of the devious way they tried to involve PAY PAL.
