Mozilla add-ons not supported!

I was shocked to see this morning, that all my add-ons are not supported! Most of them do not have similar replacements to offer. All add-ons were important, for example add-on for token signing into online services, using ID-card, or Kaspersky web security app, also adblocker, which is necessary in my work - NOT to see ads and be protected online.

Sorry, but minutes after finding out about this issue, Mozilla Firefox was UNINSTALLED from my PC. Going back to Google Chrome, as they do not have this issue!
Very unhappy with this feature. I believe you will loose plenty of users in the next days due to the same issue!

Mozilla unable to use dashlane

I've been able to use my password manager, Dashlane, just fine till a few minutes ago. All of a sudden it's not supported? Why? I will refuse to use Firefox till this is fixed. I try to install Dashlane and it tells me it's corrupted, yet works fine in all the other browsers. Please tell me why it's no longer supported. And please make sure your updates work. Every time, I update to the latest version 66 and I can't play videos on fb. Yes, I filed a different complaint and of course, I don't hear one word back. Customer Service needs to pick up their game.

I am also complaining about Facebook. I am currently in Facebook jail for thirty days. I believe this is due to my being a Conservative and Trump supporter. Multiple posts used by Facebook to rationalize the blocking are false, I never posted them. Facebook, however refuses to even acknowledge me. Since Facebook is part of Firefox and Mozilla, I figured I might get a response here.

Mozilla firefox web browser

Every time I launch the web browser, I get the prompt window asking me if I want to make firefox my default web browser. I keep selecting the option to make it my default web browser, and the window keeps coming up. There is no combination of buttons I can click to make the window go away and to not make that window go away every time I open firefox. Please correct this problem or I will be switching over to google chrome. Thank you.

Mozilla firefox web browser

When Firefox loads the following URL "https://floridata.com/plants/all", it fails to load the "Master Plant List"; which is the main feature (nothing but white space)

In sharp contrast, Google Chrome promptly displays the Master Plant List. I've been working with computers since 1982 (pre-Internet), so I've been around Robin's barn a few times. I've gone over all the "Options" settings (e.g. "No proxy"), executed several browser restarts, CPU 'cold' restarts, full cookie & history deletions, and so on. Realistically, this is not MY problem but a problem with Mozilla Firefox, which makes me sad, because I've been using Firefox browsers before most users even heard the name. In any event, my Firefox browser is currently decommissioned. and Google Chrome has won the battle by default. I don't have time to play with any web browser, but I will check back occasionally to see if the problem has been solved.

Good Luck,
Roger

Mozilla pocket

I (used to) love Pocket. However, as of late I egt a preponderance of recommendations for articles origination from The Atlantic. I do not know if you guys have a "whitelist" for sites or hhow it works exactly. But I do know that virtually every article from The Atlantic, whether it's about science, farming, or teddy bears is laden with biased political undertones. ( to put it mildly )

I would suggest giving the user the ability to block sites at the very least. Perhaps something like a button for; 'Don't link from this source again"
There is enough media bias on the web as it is.
PLEASE beloved Mozilla don't join or facilitate it, and enable us to have the freedom of choice.

Mozilla forced to use yahoo for search ruins my mozilla experience

I had my system down. And, twice this year Mozilla ruined things and caused a great deal of trouble in my daily usage.

First, I lost all my passwords one day - for no apparent reason - they were all just gone. It happened during one of the Mozilla updates.

Now, I can't use Bing as a search engine on Mozilla because no matter how many times I reset my settings - Mozilla still forces me to use Yahoo.

I earn reward points for Amazon through my Bing searches and I'm not going to give that up for Mozilla. No fricking way!

I stopped using Yahoo many years ago for a reason ! I don't like Yahoo. I haven't used Yahoo for several years - I don't intend to start !

I have used Mozilla for many, many years exclusively simply because it did everything I needed it to do. Now it doesn't. Can't trust your password utility at all and now I can't use Bing as my default search engine at all.

Sure, I can go through all the extra keystrokes to get to the bing search bar but that doesn't make my day easier !

Now, I'm either forced to used YAHOO (puke) search on Mozilla or I have to use Google Chrome which has never been my favorite but what choice do you leave me and so many, many thousands of other users?

Your inability to provide a decent password saving tool is one thing which I was willing to overlook but to be FORCED to use YAHOO - well, that's another story and one in which I do not care to participate.

I will no longer be donating to your cause.

Sincerely,
Susan Daniels

Mozilla firefox

You do away with extensions by not supporting atis.
You change people from 32 to 64 bits without telling the customer.
You prevent certain music to be played.
You do many other things not in the customers interest.

Finally you stop connections due to what you say are insecure connections.

According to you this connection to mozilla complaints board is not secure!@

And I had to use another browser to contact you.

I have used mozilla for many many years but you just lost me forever.

Have a nice day.

Mozilla firefox (62.0)

Why do I see so many iterations (if that's the right term) of Firefox running in Windows Task Manager when I start Firefox? I just started Firefox which opened to its home page (Google.com). However, when I checked Task Manager I found FIVE iterations of Firefox (or processes) running. And that's before I did a damned thing. I did not open any other tabs in Firefox. I have not done any search in Firefox yet. In fact the opening tab--the Home Page--remains untouched. Yet FIVE Firefox processes are running. Later, when I get busy in Firefox, particularly with Flickr and Tumblr Firefox (or should I say "the Firefoxes"?) will slow to a crawl, especially if I have a lot of tabs open. I can understand that I might outpace the power of my own computer by having too many pages or images open. But as you can see from the attached screen capture, FIVE processes of Firefox are running and I have yet to do a damned thing! It's a few minutes after I started Firefox and then composed this missive but the five are still running. Together they are using up close to 500, 000K--again, before I have done anything.

What's going on? Why so many processes running with only a single tab open? Can I close any of them? 4 of the 5? Which one or ones?

Date of the incident? Pretty much all the time I use Firefox.

I am also a bit puzzled that your Complaints page does not ask my email address. Does that suggest you have no intention of getting back to me on my complaint?

Joe McGuire [protected]@comcast.net

Mozilla firefox

Yahoo is a piece of ad popping up all the time garbage search engine, I don't like Yahoo, I don't want Yahoo, and I don't know why after setting Google as my home page 50+ times I STILL GET YAHOO. I've deleted all my addons, I've deleted everything I can find on my laptop with Yahoo on it (none btw) so why the hell is yahoo ruining my browsing experience and wasting my time on your once very proud browser? I love you guys and have used you guys ever since discovering you guys so WHAT THE DAMN HELL with Yahoo?

Mozilla firefox browser

I usually like Firefox, but lately it has been "freezing" very often. Today I had typed a long paragraph in a report I was doing--the browser froze, displayed the "Gah" tab message, and I lost everything I had typed...VERY Frustrating and maddening! Consequently, I will NOT be using your browser for quite a while! Hopefully, you will have this issue fixed soon.

Mozilla browser

All of my programs run slower in Firefox though I do like the layout with the ease of finding things better. Some of the other websites are screwed up forcing me to type in the addresses in my old Browser address box.

I was forced to go to Firefox because I was unable to watch live streaming on my old browser. I was also under the impression that Firefox was free since I was always hounded to download it. But now it is constantly begging for donations and I would be willing if it was as good as Mozilla is touting it to be.

Mozilla firefox 50

I have supported Firefox since the beginning ... however with the update almost everyone of my add-ons stop working.

The reason I used and have financially supported Firefox was because I could customise it and add features.

Sadly this is no longer the case and I will have to look elsewhere.

I do not understand why you would take such an action without consultation.

Thank you
David

Mozilla firefox continually crashing

Firefox has changed - for the worse!

The lastest version is vastly slower & now screen locks-up WASTE a lot of my time in trying to resume where I left off the day before.

There is also no longer a Tabs recovery on restart! So I have to sift the history to see what I was working on previously.

That is REDOING my work!

I have to restart the computer frequently!

I have been a loyal supporter, but now on the verge of abandoning Firefox, as you have not resolved this issue quickly/ rolled back the version.

When my Firefox crashed, I sent a similar message in the automated crash report. This particular incident (of many) was about 4 days ago ... I have had no feedback or even a basic acknowledgement and actionable plan yet.

This is very disappointing.

I believe that unless you act quickly now, you will destroy your supporter base and organisation.

My suggestion is to roll back the version immediately and apologise, then test properly and fix the issues BEFORE allowing Beta testing in the base.

In good faith (but running out fast!)

RJ

Mozilla mozilla firefox

Your stupid firefox keeps disabling my right mouse button, furthermore it doesnt open my previuous session, like I set it up to. Therefore when I open firefox I cant open history to restore session or do anything apart from clicking the left mouse button on the main page, even firefox buttons dont work. Also it somehow diabled my session manager addon and I cant [censor] open my previous session which had about a 100 tabs and this is the third time this happened. Add a function that saves more then one session as standard or fix ur [censor] mozzila!

Mozilla firefox update

The new Firefox is deplorable. I could easily adjust to the new look, but nothing works as it should. I have to close my Firefox several times a day and frequently restart the computer. Everything is slow, the screen locks-up and I spend an inordinate amount of time trying to do the most common tasks. If only...

I believe that I will have to resort to Safari.

I am in full agreement, it is really irritating. I ended up downloading brave which has its own issues, but at least it doesn't lock up constantly. I think I will also give safari a try. I think I am done with firefox. This seemed to all start right before the, " donate" messages.

I must tell you, I have been a "long-term" supporter of firefox, both by using it an donating money every year. With that in mind, I will not be denoting this year... I am afraid that mozilla and firefox have fallen into that old "adage" - "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!" firefox was working fine, I did all my updates, etc, religious... Now I have loaded the new firefox... I must tell you, and not to sound rude... "it sucks!" my system keeps locking up... My browser just stops working, I have to "reload" on the average of twice during a normal internet session, which I never had to do before... I am asking, as a consumer and an old supporter... Go back to the old version... I know, that some new tech guy, straight out of college in his 20's - told you this is the best and new... Shame on you for not listening to your own intuition... New is not always better... Look at windows 10... It sucks... Don't fall into this belief... Sometimes, just tweaking the "old" stuff is fine... The new format and style is not user friendly... The new system is way to "buggy" and not working right... If I could I would go back to the old system, I would..., as it is... I am seriously thinking of switching, I know, I know, I don"t want to say it..."chrome..." which I really, really would hate to do...

Mozilla firefox browser

I received the "newer, faster" Firefox update today ( not by choice), and it is horrid. Pages not loading completely, and with multiple tabs opened it will not work at all. I have been a Firefox user for years, but this is so bad I might as well use Microsoft Edge. If I could get the version I was running yesterday, I would be fine, as it is though, I will not run Firefox any longer.

Yes I agree actually I understand the problem behavior with Firefiox 57 and 58b, if you use task manager, before when you use Firefox 56 for each window you open you have one Firefox.exe running. Now with this awfull version, you got many Firefox, exe running 2 or even more for each Tab, if you close this Tab they reopen. If you close Firefox the process is still running not as before, This consume much power drain notebook batteries and jam memory. Really It is a pity, Ii am rooling up to 56 and put manuall config using about config because in the general menu, ask me to install update don't work, it is not enough it rool up the same on this crazy update. I will suggest that before making such bad update to select some users for trying not only with Core 7 PC but with old hardware.
