Musicians-in-your-city Musicians-in-your-city.co.uk: A Complete Scam with Impossible Rules and Excruciating Registration

This website, Musicians-in-your-city.co.uk, is absolutely terrible. I can't help but suspect that it's a complete scam. There are an absurdly large number of musicians who supposedly live close to me, which seems highly suspicious right off the bat! Following their rules is practically impossible. First of all, they require you to write a 'comment' about yourself, but they don't provide any guidance on what that comment should actually be. On top of that, they have a ridiculously long list of words that are forbidden, like the word 'band' for example! It just goes downhill from there.

I'm in search of a lead guitarist for my existing band. In order to post an advertisement, every single member of the band has to go through the excruciating process of registration. And I mean every single one of us has to endure this ridiculousness. Just when you think you're finally finished (which may take a whopping 24 hours), you start receiving emails from them pointing out that you've used the wrong word somewhere in your details, and you have to go back and redo everything. I've never been so utterly defeated by a mere website before! I wouldn't touch this site with a ten-foot pole. The thought of them having access to my bank details is absolutely terrifying!

Musicians-in-your-city Frustrating and Inefficient: A Review of Musicians-in-your-city.co.uk

Musicians-in-your-city.co.uk is a website that I found to be quite frustrating and not very helpful. When I first visited the site, it immediately asked me to provide information about myself as a musician before I could even think about advertising. Now, as a musician who is specifically looking for a female vocalist, this requirement seemed unnecessary and time-consuming.

After reluctantly filling out the 50-word description about myself, which had all sorts of restrictions on what words I could and couldn't use, I was finally able to create my advert. I thought I was all set and ready to go, but boy was I wrong! About an hour later, I received a message stating that my entries violated the site's terms and conditions. What?! I was the only one who registered, so I have no idea what they were talking about!

To be honest, this whole experience left me feeling frustrated and annoyed. The site itself is a complete mess and a waste of internet space. Whoever is running this site seriously needs to rethink their approach. I would strongly advise avoiding it altogether and instead, head down to your local music shop to advertise. Trust me, it will be a much faster and more efficient way to find what you're looking for.

Musicians-in-your-city Musicians-in-your-city.co.uk: A Frustrating Nightmare of a Website

Musicians-in-your-city.co.uk is hands down the most frustrating and pointless website I've ever stumbled upon. I mean, seriously, within a mere 10 minutes, I had to summon every ounce of self-control to prevent myself from obliterating my laptop into a thousand tiny fragments.

Now, don't get me wrong, the idea behind this site is actually pretty decent. I mean, who wouldn't want to connect with fellow musicians in their area, right? But let me tell you, the execution is so mind-bogglingly inept that it'll have you shedding tears of frustration in no time.

And let's not even get started on the worst part of it all - the site administrators. These folks have the audacity to adopt an insulting and downright pompous tone. I mean, who do they think they are? If you haven't already reached the point of steam shooting out of your ears, just wait until you experience their constant nagging and threatening insults. It's enough to make you want to pull your own hair out, I tell you.

I can't help but wonder if this whole debacle was concocted by some sort of "iT Crowd" type geek, you know, the kind who probably got bullied in school and now wants to take revenge on all us cool musicians. I mean, seriously, what other explanation could there possibly be for turning a relatively simple process into an absolute nightmare?

My advice to you, my fellow music enthusiasts, is to steer clear of this disaster waiting to happen. Spare yourself the grief and frustration. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Musicians-in-your-city Deceptive Fees, Spam Emails, and Fake Testimonials: Avoid This Rubbish Site!

I joined this site like a year and a half ago when I was on the hunt for a bass player and a drummer. They didn't even mention any fees until the very last moment, so I figured, why not give it a shot? After going through the whole process of searching through listings and whatnot, they hit me with a payment request. Can you believe it? This site looks like it was made on MSword or something, and they expect me to pay for this nonsense? No way, man.

So I decided to look elsewhere for what I needed. But you know what's really annoying? Ever since then, I've been getting spammed by these guys like every two weeks. I block their pointless emails every single time, but somehow they still manage to slip through my spam filter. It's ridiculous.

And let's talk about those fake testimonials they have on their homepage. They got these random people with weird names like "Steve T" singing praises for this garbage site. Like, come on, who are they fooling? Those testimonials mean absolutely nothing because the owner of the site can just slap on some positive comments (which, by the way, seem suspiciously worded to attract more visitors) and pretend they're from actual users.

This whole thing is a load of rubbish, and after reading the comments above, I'm so relieved that I didn't waste my money on this crap. Stay away, folks!

Musicians-in-your-city Musicians-in-your-City: A Total Flop with Rude Warnings and Poor Communication

I'm a web designer, ya know, someone who deals with those fancy "user journey" sites. Let me tell ya, this one I stumbled upon, Musicians-in-your-City, it's a total flop. Like, seriously, it fails on every single count. It's all strict and bossy, throwin' around terms like "objectionable" and "illegal" without even givin' ya a heads up. And if you happen to include any of those terms, bam! You get hit with a rude and abrupt warning, just like that. No warning, nothin'.

But wait, there's more! They don't even bother tellin' ya how many letters ya gotta type. So, guess what? Yup, you get another one of those rude warnings. It's like they enjoy bein' rude or somethin'. I mean, come on, is there a theme here or what?

Let me share a little snippet from one of their lovely emails to me:

"You've gone and registered some entries on Musicians-in-your-City. But guess what? Your entries violate our precious general terms and conditions. Oh, and by the way, those objectionable entries of yours? Yeah, they're marked with a big ol' red exclamation mark in your personal manager. So, fix 'em up and make sure you follow our precious terms and conditions in the future. Got it?"

I mean, seriously, does that not speak for itself? It's crystal clear that these folks not only don't understand their own market, but they also struggle with English as their first language. Now, normally, that'd be forgivable if they just owned up to it. But nope, they gotta be all arrogant and disdainful in their messages, warnings, and communications. Like, who do they think they are?

So, after tryin' to register not once, but twice, I threw in the towel. I mean, I lost count of how many warnings I got about bein' deactivated. Ain't nobody got time for that, ya know?

Musicians-in-your-city Musicians-in-your-City: A Scam Scheme Exploiting Musicians and Colluding with PayPal

Subject of Objection:

I recently signed up for Musicians-in-your-City, specifically for the band-entry option. I am a one-man entertainer, and I wanted to introduce myself to potential fans and book live performances. However, I have encountered some issues with this platform.

Information:

When I registered on Musicians-in-your-City, I agreed to their general terms and conditions. They made it clear that I needed to follow these rules to maintain an active account. Despite this, I unintentionally violated their instructions, and as a result, my account has been deactivated.

Lack of Support:

What frustrates me the most is the lack of support from Musicians-in-your-City. I have tried to contact them, but it seems impossible. It's like they don't even exist! This raises suspicions in my mind. Is this site a scam? I am seriously considering challenging them for a refund. I have never encountered such incompetence in my life. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this platform unless you want to lose your hard-earned money.

Difficulties with Registration:

The registration process itself was a nightmare. It was more complicated than opening a bank account! The site's design is illogical and impractical. It feels like it was intentionally made poorly and difficult to navigate. I can't help but wonder if it was created by Germans (no offense to them). It lacks any redeeming features and is a complete waste of time.

PayPal's Involvement:

To make matters worse, PayPal seems to be protecting Musicians-in-your-City and refusing to assist me in disputing the annual fee. I only used the platform for three days, and now I'm stuck with this charge. It's incredibly frustrating.

Taking Action:

I am not one to sit idly by. I am considering legal action and reporting this issue to the EU. I will also be reaching out to my local MEP and filing an official complaint. If anyone else has experienced similar treatment, please reach out to me at ***@gmail.com. Together, we can fight against these scammers and get this fraudulent platform shut down. It's time to hold Musicians-in-your-City accountable for their actions. I am confident that this site is nothing more than a scheme to extort money from unsuspecting musicians. Let's expose their collusion with PayPal as well!

Rage:

I am filled with rage over this whole situation. It's infuriating to be taken advantage of by such dishonest individuals. But I won't let them get away with it. We must stand up for ourselves and ensure that others don't fall victim to this scam.

Musicians-in-your-city Frustrating Registration Process and Restrictive Rules Make Musicians-in-your-city the Worst Website Ever

I am extremely frustrated with this website because I can't give it a rating lower than 4 out of 4.

Musicians-in-your-city is the absolute worst website I have ever encountered in my entire life. Seriously, I can't believe how terrible it is. LOL, I've never written a review before or even knew that this kind of site existed, but I'm so glad it does so I can save others from wasting their time like I did.

First of all, during the registration process, you have to agree to all these silly things, otherwise, your account will be DEACTIVATED! (Oh, the horror!) I haven't even done anything yet, and the way they talk is so strict, it's like trying to sign up for the FBI's central intelligence mainframe.

Then, when you're signing up, you fill out the WHOLE form and finally get to the comment section, which is about 150 characters long. However, here come the rules...

ATTENTION:
You are not allowed to enter any contact information, like your name, phone number, email address, band name, homepage, links, manufacturers, age, date indications, or pad characters in the comment field. If you don't follow these rules, your account will be deactivated.

Do you play multiple instruments? Well, you have to create a separate 'introducing' entry for each instrument!
Don't mention what you're looking for in the comment field.
Details about your band, such as band experience, stage experience, band membership, and band instrumentation, are not allowed in the comment line!
These details will be automatically displayed if you register your band.
If you're looking for musicians, go to 'musicians entries' and create a new 'is looking for' entry.
If your band is looking for musicians, go to 'band entries' and create a new 'is looking for' entry.

Indicate your goals in music.
Indicate how long you've been making music.
Indicate the type and style of music you play or want to play.
Indicate whether you're a beginner, amateur, or professional.

-> Please make your comment interesting and meaningful to others.
-> Important for producers: create an additional entry as a sound technician/composer/arranger (if applicable)!... After 8 or 9 attempts, it kept telling me I can't use words like 'Group' or 'Rehearsal Room' or even forward slashes. I gave up and just put 'Recording Studio,' only to be told that it MUST be at least 50 characters! :O OH NOES! So, I just put multiple full stops... only for it to tell me I've used TOO MANY CAPITAL LETTERS! I used ONE!... God knows what it would think of this post... or even their own rules section...

The cherry on top of this cake is that every time you click submit, it takes you to the next page and makes you wait just to tell you that something is wrong... and THEN, inevitably, something is wrong. But guess what? The back button doesn't work! So, you have to fill out the whole form again!

I don't know how anyone is on this site!

ALL I WANT IS CONTACT DETAILS OF MUSICIANS LOCAL TO ME! How have they managed to make this so difficult? It's mind-boggling! After about 45 minutes on the site, getting nowhere and not finding any contact details, I've given up...

REMOVE THIS SITE FROM THE INTERNET FOR THE SAKE OF OUR SANITY!

Peace..

Musicians-in-your-city Warning: Musicians-in-your-city - Poor Service, Clumsy Layout, and Unhelpful Support Staff

First off, I gotta say that there were a few good things about Musicians-in-your-city. I actually managed to get in touch with a couple of musicians using their service, so it wasn't a total waste of the £15 I had to pay to register. But let me tell you, the way their "support staff" treated me afterwards was enough to make me warn everyone to stay away from them.

Now, let's talk about the negatives. First of all, the layout and mechanics of the site are just plain clumsy. It's overly complicated and hard to figure out. And get this, they have this dumb rule where you have to register as a band just to contact an individual musician. Like, seriously? That's just annoying on its own, but it gets worse.

The "support" staff is completely unhelpful and unbelievably arrogant. Because of the messed up way their site is set up, I had to break their stupid rule in order to get in touch with a musician I wanted to record with. I made it crystal clear in my entry what I was doing so I wouldn't mislead anyone else. But guess what? They blocked me from their site and had the audacity to demand that I pay them over £10 as a "handling fee" to get unblocked! I see this as nothing short of theft, and there's no way I'm giving them another penny for their petty and high-handed behavior.

And here's the kicker. After being blocked by their "little-hitler" support staff, there's no way to contact them and make a complaint unless you cough up that £10 unblocking fee. Like I said, there's no way in hell I'm paying them. Blocking me in the first place was completely unreasonable, high-handed, and morally questionable. All I did was find a way around their poorly designed website to contact another musician, and they punished me for it. They basically robbed me of the services I already paid for and left me with no way to seek justice except to warn others on a platform like this.

So, what's the bottom line? Well, like I mentioned earlier, I did manage to get in touch with a musician I was looking for. But I had to bend their dumb rules and navigate their confusing website design to do it. The guy I contacted even agreed that the site was clunky and poorly designed. But instead of taking that feedback constructively, they reacted in the most draconian way possible. They effectively robbed me, a pissed off musician who paid good money for their service. I think I deserved better than to be denied the services I paid for just because I broke some minor rule that was a direct result of their crappy and confusing website design.

The website owners will probably argue that what they did to me is perfectly legal and all laid out in their terms and conditions. Personally, I didn't have the time or patience to read through that massive document when I signed up (who does?), and I trusted them to have some integrity as a harmless service like this. Well, turns out I was dead wrong to trust them, and I strongly urge other musicians to look elsewhere when trying to connect with fellow musos online. There have to be better-designed sites out there run by people who won't rob you blind under the guise of some obscure rulebook.

Musicians-in-your-city Warning: Musicians-in-your-city Website is a Total Scam! Stay Away and Save Your Money!

This website, Musicians-in-your-city, is absolutely terrible. It's a total scam, and I can't believe I wasted my hard-earned ?43 on it. Trying to navigate through this site is like trying to find your way through a maze blindfolded. It's so clumsy and confusing that it keeps forcing you to spend even more money on some bogus "name protection" for your band. And if you dare to try and correct any mistakes, forget about it! The site won't let you fix anything. It's a complete nightmare.

To make matters worse, they actually "blocked" my user account just because I made a simple error. But honestly, who can blame me? This site is so ridiculously complicated that it's practically designed to make you mess up. They did offer a refund link, but guess what? It didn't work! And now, that link has magically disappeared into thin air. Instead, they reinstated my account on their ridiculous "hamster-wheel" system, making it impossible for me to claim my refund. It's like they're playing some sick game with their users.

Please, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this site. Spread the word and warn everyone you know to avoid it at all costs. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Musicians-in-your-city Nightmare of a Website: A Disastrous Experience with Musicians in Cages

So, picture this massive warehouse, right? It's filled to the brim with all these cages, lined up in rows upon rows. And guess what's inside those cages? Musicians. Yeah, you heard me right. Musicians, just like those poor souls in that Spinal Tap movie. Except, this ain't no laughing matter, my friend. It's real, and it's gonna cost you a pretty penny.

Now, let me tell you, if you even think about shifting your eyeballs to take a peek at someone else, you better be ready to cough up some coins. Yeah, that's right. There's this contraption, like a coin extraction machine, created by some genius who clearly needs a one-way ticket to the loony bin. I mean, seriously, who in their right mind would come up with such a diabolical contraption? And guess what? I ain't the only one who thinks so. I saw someone else on here saying the same thing!

Let me just say, this is hands down the absolute worst musician website I've ever laid my eyes on. And trust me, I've seen my fair share of 'em. It's like they took all the bad ideas in the world and crammed 'em into one website. It's a disaster, plain and simple.

So, my advice to you is to steer clear of this nightmare of a website. Save your sanity, your coins, and your precious time. There are plenty of other places out there where you can find talented musicians without having to deal with this madness. Trust me, this is the end of the line for me. I'm out.

Musicians-in-your-city Musicians-in-your-city.co.uk: A Chaotic Mess with Unforgettable "What the Heck" Moments

This website, Musicians-in-your-city.co.uk, is absolutely terrible. I cannot stress enough how much you should stay away from it! I am in complete agreement with the other 1-star reviews, and there are a whopping 47 of them as I write this (let me emphasize that every single review is a 1-star rating). Whoever is responsible for this website seriously needs some medical assistance, preferably from a psychiatrist. Seriously, please seek help.

To add insult to injury, they disabled my account and banned me from their website (can you believe it?!) simply because I had the audacity to provide negative feedback about their website. I mean, come on! It's not like I was lying or anything. Their website is still as complicated as ever, and I had every right to express my frustration. But instead of taking it constructively, they decided to go all out and threaten me with legal action if I dared to try and register again. Talk about immaturity!

Honestly, I have no desire to ever set foot in that chaotic mess of a website again. But hey, thanks for the unforgettable "what the heck" moments, guys. You really outdid yourselves.

Musicians-in-your-city Confusing Rules and Deactivation: Musicians-in-your-city Review

So, I signed up for an account on Musicians-in-your-city, and guess what? They deactivated it almost right away. Apparently, I broke some weird rules about the subject matter or something. Now, I consider myself pretty good with English and not a complete idiot, but seriously, I have no clue what this site is all about. I mean, what the heck are they trying to say with this jumbled mess?

"Musicians' entries can't be used to promote your own band, whether it's complete or not, or to find other musicians to join your band. Only band entries can be used for that.
Musicians' entries are only for personal use.
Band entries are only for bands to use."

You know what? I don't give a damn that they deactivated me. I'm sorry, but this site just doesn't make any sense to me.

Musicians-in-your-city Frustrating Experience with Musicians-in-your-city: Controlling Organizers, Excessive Fees, but Some Success

This website, Musicians-in-your-city, can be quite frustrating, to be honest. It seems like they keep adding more and more rules, and some of their software just can't keep up with all the changes. The people behind it all, the organizers and designers, they're really controlling, you know? It's like they want to have complete power over everything.

And let's talk about the fees, shall we? They're rather steep, especially if you don't use the site very often. I mean, every time I wanted to reach out to other musicians, I had to cough up another thirty pounds! It's a bit excessive, if you ask me.

I get it, though. They want to attract serious musicians, the ones who are really dedicated to their craft. They probably want to "weed out" the more casual or amateur musicians. So, if you're just looking to have some fun, experiment with music, or simply dip your toes into collaborative projects without a solid business plan, this site might not be the right fit for you. Trust me, I've been searching for a site that suits my needs, but haven't found one yet.

But hey, if you've got the money and the patience, it might be worth it to battle your way through all the rules. I mean, I did manage to find a musical friend through this site, and that's been pretty good. So, it's not all bad, you know?

Musicians-in-your-city Musicians-in-your-city: A Frustrating Journey for Connecting with Musicians

Musicians-in-your-city is an interesting website, to say the least. It seems like the folks behind it might not be the best at designing websites, and who knows, maybe they're not great musicians either. The site itself is a bit of a mess, with its itty-bitty text boxes and absurd submission rules. It's like they don't even want you to use the site!

If you're a musician or a band looking to connect with others, be prepared for a wild ride. You'll have to go through multiple registrations just to contact someone, and if you're searching for specific members, well, get ready to fill out individual entries for each one. And let's not forget about the interface, which is just plain awful. It's like they want to make everything as difficult as possible.

Privacy? Ha! Forget about it. These guys want your name, address, date of birth, and even your home phone number. It's like they're building a database for stalkers or something. Not cool, Musicians-in-your-city, not cool at all.

Now, I suppose if you're really determined to find musicians, this site could be a goldmine. Only the most persistent and patient souls will make it through the soul-crushing process. As for me, I decided to cancel my registration right away. Life's too short to waste time on a website that's more frustrating than helpful. I'd rather focus on writing some music and enjoying my life.

So, if you're up for a challenge and don't mind jumping through hoops, give Musicians-in-your-city a shot. But if you value your sanity and want a user-friendly experience, you might want to look elsewhere. Good luck, fellow musicians!

Musicians-in-your-city Disappointing Experience with Musicians-in-your-city: Overpriced Membership and Poor Response

So, let me tell you about my experience with Musicians-in-your-city. I decided to give it a try because I was tired of all those musicians who claimed they wanted to connect with me but couldn't because we weren't both paying members. It was frustrating, to say the least. So, I made the foolish decision to pay for a whole year's membership, costing me a whopping 59 Euro.

I thought maybe things would change once I became a paying member. I tried reaching out to someone who had shown interest in the past, but guess what? No response. Not even after a whole week. That's when I decided to cancel my membership.

Now, you would think that they would understand my frustration and maybe even refund me a decent amount. But no, they only gave me a measly FIVE Euro back. Can you believe it? And to add insult to injury, they pointed me to some ridiculous charges they deduct for "services used." Apparently, they charge a whopping 20 Euro per contact made. And get this, my 59 Euro annual subscription included a mere 30 of these contacts! What a ripoff, right?

I can't even begin to express my disappointment. It's just not worth it. I mean, I've even asked if I could pay them back the 5 Euro just to restore my annual membership, but honestly, it's not worth much more than that. Let's see what happens next. I'll keep you updated.

Note: This review is based on my personal experience with Musicians-in-your-city. I can't speak for others, but I hope my story serves as a cautionary tale.

Musicians-in-your-city Musicians-in-your-city Review: Complicated, Limited Options, and Questionable Authenticity

All them reviews before this one, they all say the same thing. And you know what? I had a feeling it was gonna be like this. I just wanted to find some other musicians, you know? But dang, this website made it way more complicated than it needed to be. First off, the stupid site couldn't even recognize my post code. Like, come on, how hard is it to figure that out?

They say you can easily contact other musicians, but let me tell you, it ain't easy at all. Unless you're willing to cough up some cash, you ain't gonna be able to reach out to nobody. And I bet you ain't gonna get no useful info with that free registration they talk about. Nah, it's probably just a bunch of useless junk.

And don't even get me started on the local players they show you. It all seems kinda fishy to me. Like, who knows if they're even real musicians? They could just be a bunch of posers trying to scam ya. Can't trust nobody these days.

But here's the real kicker. This website expects you to fit into these little boxes. You're either in a band and looking for one person, or you're a person looking for a band. Ain't no in-between. What if you just wanna jam with some folks, you know? What if you ain't looking for a full-on band? Well, tough luck, 'cause this site ain't got no options for you.

And what's the deal with these 30 coins? I don't get it. It's all so dang confusing. Like, why can't they just make it simple? I'm telling ya, this whole thing is a mess.

But hey, at least I found this review site. Thanks to all them folks who wrote their honest opinions, I didn't have to waste my hard-earned money. In fact, I just went ahead and deleted my free account on that site. Good riddance, I say.

So yeah, if you're looking for musicians, I'd steer clear of Musicians-in-your-city. It's a headache and a half. Save yourself the trouble and find another way to connect with fellow musicians. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Musicians-in-your-city Musicians-in-your-city: A Disastrous Platform for Musicians

Who do these people think they are!? This website, Musicians-in-your-city, is just plain shoddy. I mean, seriously, it's a mess. And to make matters worse, there's no way to reply to their unhelpful and downright insulting emails. Can you believe it? They actually had the audacity to imply that I was lying when one of my colleagues tried to confirm that we're in the same band. But let me tell you, she couldn't make heads or tails of what they wanted her to do to prove it. It was like deciphering some ancient code or something.

And let's not even get started on the registration process for our band. They slapped so many restrictions on what I could write that it was practically impossible to provide any meaningful information within the limited character count they demanded. I mean, come on! How am I supposed to showcase our talent and uniqueness in such a tiny space? It's just ridiculous.

But wait, it gets even better. When I finally realized that there was absolutely no way to contact the administrators of this hopeless excuse for a website, I politely mentioned this in my listing. And you know what they did? They threatened to kick me out! Can you believe the nerve? All I wanted was a simple way to reach out and resolve any issues, but apparently, that's too much to ask for.

And to top it all off, they have the audacity to charge a ludicrous fee for all this nonsense. I mean, seriously, it's highway robbery! Who in their right mind would pay such an exorbitant amount for such a subpar service? Not me, that's for sure.

So, my advice to you is to steer clear of this website. Avoid it like the plague. These idiots don't deserve to be in the same league as us talented musicians. They're a joke, plain and simple. Save your time, save your money, and find a better platform to showcase your musical prowess. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
