NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER Do business with myperfectresume.com. They have been double charging my debit card for 7 months in a row! I cancelled this service and they keep double charging me each month. I have had to contact them every single month for over 7 months. They claim they have a second account that is set up wrong and bills to my account. So they added my payment info to someone else's account? I signed up online. How do they screw that up? and do it again and again for 7 months! Something seriously sketchy is going on with this company. It needs shut down!
sneaky billing practices
I signed up for 14 days only and they keep billing me and charging my card. I am careful about reading the fine print when I sign up for a service and there was no mention any billing past 14 days or a subscription. I Found out months later I had been billed $24.95 a month since. And you can't just "cancel" you have to reach out to them and have them cancel this subscription I didn't sign up for.
the recurrent billing is fraudulent billing practice
12/2008 to today did not realize I was being billed 24.99 per month.
No receipt sent or acknowledgment. I thought I was paying for 14 days of access not ongoing. Caught it on my CC receipt. This is not upfront business practices. If this company were transparent they would send receipts, but not one monthly receipt.
They sent me a 1/2 refund for this month of 12.00. Big whoop! I just lost 150.00 bucks to print 1 resume!
this organisation scams people. I have been charged $38 for months now and I did not order the service. this is criminal...
This company has defrauded me...I have never registered with them and they have been billing me for months. Criminals... I will be contacting my bank and speaking to the fraud division. I have only realised with this months statement that this charge has been going on for months. Who are these people, preying on vulnerable people. I am a single full time working mother and I never ordered this service.
my perfect resume
Please kindly look into this. I built my resume, spent a lot of time into it. They showed a fee of 135.77 INR and didn't mention that we will be charged after that and that too without our permission. They suddenly debited 1739 INR from my account and i had no clue about it. They are total fraud and doing this since a very long time. Please review this.
auto subscriptions for $35 every 4 weeks
12th April 2019, bought service for $2.95 for 14 days, and I did not notice the auto subscriptions for $ 35 at then end of it. Even I cancelled it, it will still charge me extra $35 on 24th May 2019. It is said in the email when you cancelled the subscription. The now have my bank card information. They will keep steal my money in my concern. I sent an refund requirement email. Still waiting for the response.
fraud
First of all, they don't say clearly they are going to charge you every month.
Then I cancel my subscription on January 2019, and they continuing charging me on February, March, April ... I called them, I wrote them, but they don't reply, they don't return me the incorrect charges. I have the confirmation email of the cancelation on January.
I have to cancel my card to avoid more charges.
Unreal.
BEWARE! They also work under different ones.

they taken 25 dollars without my knowledge.
I had paid the
3.95 for one thing I need it.i ended up not using it,
Anyway after 14 days they have withdrawn 24.95 from my account with my knowledge
I speaking to customer service told him to refund me the the money he said the only amount they could refund is 4.95 and I told him what about the 20 he didn't give me Pacific answer he started going around with words than I told him let me speak to the supervisor, than I did Speak to the supervisor he was really rude with me his name was (Louis Solana)HE Shut the phone in my face.
Continued direct debit
My son, visited the web page of myperfectresume, just to see how to write an acceptable resume. I lent him my credit card, so he could write his resume which enables him to obtain a builders licence. Much to our surprise, the amount debited continued without our knowledge, I have not added specific dates etc for you at this stage, however they will be available to you on request.
I have contacted mpr to ask where did we sign up for continued direct debit. Their reply was, "it states on"third page" this will occur unless the consumer cancel within 7 days!
I think its only reasonable to know, once a resume is written, it is not needed again, until the next employment is required. I have checked on line and there are many complaints regarding this issue. Is my complaint valid or are they within their rights to continue this practice. There is not a great deal of money involved in my case. I have never indulged in a complaint like this. I just think of all the other people who have been ripped of by this company. Only other fact is, I am a pensioner, trying to help my son out, only to be one of those people being ripped off. I look forward to your reply. [protected]@hotmail.com
scam that preys on vulnerable people
As most of the others who have complained about this "product". I was lured in by the promise of a "free" resume. Now I'm no fool, I knew it wasn't going to be free, and I am very adept at reading the small print. $3.95 to download my resume and cover letter with two full weeks of access. Sounds like a perfectly reasonable price.
Nowhere did I read that I was going to be charged $34.95 two weeks later and then another $34.95 the next month. I have a family and I have been on Employment Insurance until my new job starts and money is scarce. People are extremely vulnerable to these types of scams.
I don't care that it's in the small print. This is a misleading and greedy structure . I will update this when customer service gets back to me. I demanded a full refund. If they do not comply I will take this to every social media outlet I can find. I will cost them a lot more than the $80 they ripped me off.
If they deny my refund I will go through the bank and dispute the charges on legal grounds.
Thanks for reading
Update: Second response from customer service indicates they will refund both charges. Let's see if this holds true.
Update: Company responded and will refund my second charge. I will be responding with a demand for the earlier charge of $34.95. I did not use this service beyond the initial two week period.

Your company has been direct debiting my account without my consent. I can't contact you to cancel this subscription, that we didn't sign up for, as we are in Australia. You need to have contact numbers that actually connect you to someone who can help.
There wasn't full disclosure on your product and I am wanting cancellation and full refund on all transactions immediately. You have no right to continually charge people for a product only ised once.
This is fraudulent and I expect a resolution as soon as possible.
misleading
Claims to be free, you spend your time building a resume when templates are free everywhere and then they won't let you have or use it without paying and signing up for a subscription. Who in their right mind wants to pay nearly $40 a month for a resume template builder. What a scam. I spent hours of my time to build my resume also relinquishing my email address only to be bombarded with spam. At this point I feel aa if they should be paying me. If they were an honest and legitimate company they would tell you upfront what to expect and would charge a one time fee for the one time use of their templates and download.
fraud they stole my money. run away from this company
Run away from this company.
I had an irregular charge in my card £19.79. I didn't subscribe in their services, it is an irregular charge. I wanna my money, what kind of company do this? It is disgusting. It is ilegal. I wanna my money.

my perfect resume is a scam!!
THIS IS A SCAM! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION!
They have been charging me $24.99 a month for 4 months and they wont send a single email receipt so you won't know you are getting charged (WHAT COMPANY DOESN'T SEND A RECEIPT?!? If someone is accepting of the charges, these charges are write off's).
I remember closing my account (as I had deleted it the same day because it wasn't what I needed) and all I received was a page in the web browser that said my account had been closed. No confirmation email was sent stating the account was closed. So when you call and ask them to reimburse you for the charges (that were not authorized) they ask you for a cancelation email and you aren't able to provide one since "they do not send emails".
I called them a 2nd time (after I had called to cancel my account as I had a feeling they didn't do it) and they said my account was STILL active. What company operates this way?!
DO NOT USE THIS SITE!

Hi Krishnakumar,
Thank you for contacting MyPerfectResume Customer Care.
I apologize for the inconvenience. Our records show that you purchased our 14-day subscription on 28-Sep-2018. The subscription that you have chosen was only good for 14 days. This allowed you to download, email and print the resume that you have created. After 14 days the account rolled into a monthly subscription that cost $24.95.
Please be aware that all of our subscriptions are auto-renewing. We have a continuous billing feature which charges your account after the 14-day period and every month afterwards unless you choose to cancel your subscription beforehand. Since there was no cancellation request sent before the end of the initial period, your account rolled into a monthly subscription.
really frustrating companies are around like this.
fraudulent charges
MY PERFECT RESUME = MY PERFECT SCAM
The way THEY work is simple:
* They think You The People are stupid.
* Therefore, they offer you a "free" trial, or ask for a nominal fee, say $1.95. Of course they'll need your credit card number, or your bank account number.
* You need a job, so you need a resume. You give them your credit info. They think you gave it to them because you are stupid.
* What they don't know is that you gave it to them because You The People are essentially good and therefore trusting.
* And then, they took advantage of your trust. Despite the fact that you cancelled your subscription well within the 30 day "trial period", they continued charging you monthly, $24.95 or $34.95 etc... This went on for some time, accumulating hundreds - and for some of you thousands - of dollars in fraudulent charges.
* The result? Some criminal fat cats on a beach somewhere living high on the hog, kicking back and having a good chuckle while shoveling caviar and guzzling champagne - that YOU paid for!
* People, it's time to break out the pitchforks and fire up the torches (legally speaking, of course)!
Did this happen to you, too? It happened to me (I have all the emails to prove it), and from what I've seen online I'm sure it has happened to many, many other victims. My Perfect Resume is actually The Perfect Scam and deserves the Mother of all Class-Action Suits. People, it's time to rise up and shine the light of truth on these cockroaches.
Let's all take action and join forces. Send your story, along with any documentation, emails or other evidence you may have to [protected]@gmail.com. We will try to respond in a timely fashion, but please be patient; we're expecting thousands - possibly millions - of responses.
IMPORTANT: Please make this go VIRAL. In order for the Power of the People to be felt, we must reach as many people as possible. Let these criminals know that We The People won't take it anymore. Please post this on every single social media source you can think of, and forward to friends, family and acquaintances. TOGETHER we can see justice served!
taken money
My husband used this service once to do a resume at the end it asked a small fee to download it.. we paid and although it took my husband two years to notice $35 coming out every month it came to nearly $750 of fees coming out quietly from his account, for one stinking resume ... I am appalled.. when we called they fed us some rubbish we agreed to conditions .. what person pays $35 a month for a resume service.. no refund no care factor just bad luck.. no emails from this company ever either one would never no a agreement made without a email stating so which makes them a SCAM.. anyway I have contacted current affair and it turns out they will collect mine and a few peoples details that have also complained to air it ... there days taking money from people will end soon ! Disgusting
not actually free
It's not actually free as advertised. I'm pretty annoyed right now. I went through the whole thing and click download, and it's asking for credit card information. Frankly, it's not very expensive, but I'm not going to pay for it out of principle. There's plenty of other resources for resume building that don't charge or make misleading claims about their service.
unethical business practices
The recurring fee of $24.90 is not make clear. No one in the right mind signs up for that kind of service. Their game is hoping people don't notice these charges. I didn't notice it until the second one. They owe me $49.90. There is communications board where they let you select what you want to be contacted about, but they don't include an invoice for when they are billing you, so you don't catch on to them siphoning money out of your account. Despicable.
