Scam artists/ rated f on bbb/ don't use
I purchased the trial version in july of 2021! I had to do a scan just recently on my checking account because of fraud and seen that I was billed $23.99 from my perfect resume. I did a quick search in my email and seen that I received my cancellation email 14 days later. I paid the minimal trial fee and assumed that it was over and cancelled. This place has been billing from me for 32 months! $770 they have stolen from me and will not pay back! Never did they send a billing email, any kind of support email, nothing! They totally hide in the weeds in hopes you never realize what they are doing! There is a place in hell for people like this! If anyone knows how to get this money back, please let me know! I am contacting a lawyer because this is absolutely fraudulent!

Warning to job hunters
I was scammed by MyPerfectResume.com. I signed up for a one time charge of $1.95 to update my resume, which they withdrew from my account on 12/28/23. Then on 1/16/24 a charge showed up for $23.95. I notified my bank. I wrote an email to My Perfect Resume at the contact email [protected]@myperfectresume.com with no response.
I then called the number that showed up on the withdrawal for a refund, [protected], and requested a confirmation of the cancellation of the account that I had already completed. This rep tells me he will cancel the account (which I'd already done) and gives me the same confirmation number that I had received in an email when I'd completed the cancellation. He continues to pitch non-stop offers they have, as I repeatedly tell him that I am not interested in anything but a refund. He tells me that he can refund 50% and I tell him no, as I never authorized this. He then puts me on hold, and returns to tell me that he has received authorization to refund the full $23.95, which I will receive in 7-14 days. Again, I notified my bank to disallow any further transactions from them. I filed a complaint with Consumer Protection https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/ who will also take action.
In checking my banking today 1/20/24, a deposit of $11.98 (50%) was applied to my account. I called them again. I am put on hold, when the rep returns he states that the other $11.97 will be applied by my bank asap, as it is in the banks' hands. I have told the rep today to close the account and remove my card information. My bank has now notified me to close the card, which I have done.
What a tragedy that those of us searching for jobs and income, are scammed by outfits such as this. I thought that I had properly done my homework which I obviously did not. From here forward, in all that I do, I will complete a deeper investigation.
Recommendation: Cancel promo immediately. Watch your bank account.

I have subscribed their website and trusted they are services but I wasn’t aware they are making the customer fool they took somewhere $2:99 for a week service and I have paid for it. Later my account on Sunday without giving me any notifications they charged me $34:95 I have sent 100 emails why they have charged me to give my money back to me they are not replaying many of the faces the same thing I want you to take a strict action against them.

I used them once on October 27,2023. They billed me 34.95 but bad me, I did not catch on for 4 more months that they were charging me monthly. very resistive to canceling. Refused refund for the 4 months even though they could see I was not using their service. They just want your monthly payment. They are an internet scam.

I subscribed for the free test version, wrote a resume, payed for this one-time resume, unsubscribed on the same day and received a confirmation e-mail for the cancelation. However, without permission MyPerfectResume charged $23.95 the following month for an ongoing subscription. Now the "customer service" is ghosting me, no way to get in contact with them.
As you can read on this platform this seems to be an ongoing fraudulent scheme plain and simple. Avoid this scam!

I want them to return my $24 or at least $22, considering the charge of $2 for another cycle.
I subscribed to their service at the rate of around $2 for a bill cycle of 2 weeks.
However, they deducted $24 in the second cycle.
I read their terms and conditions and realised that they can change rates anytime but they’re liable to inform the subscriber about the rate change before deduction.

My complaint is not being heard or addressed via contact with customer service. I had been receiving copy and paste 'standard wording' replies. More recently, i receive no response at all. Below is the issue I'm seeking resolution for:
I've been charged a total of $485 Canadian since April 2022 for a service I did not know I was subscribed to nor have used, except the one time minimal charge to complete the resume.. I never received an email, ever to give me an option to say yes or no to this subscribed. This is my only email address. I want a refund for the months I was unknowingly charged.

I needed to update my resume. I selected the “one time only” choice which was around $3.00.
A week later, I’m charged $23.98. I called the day the charge hit my account (pending).
I called and spoke to a rep, explained I never signed up for a subscription, that I want to cancel and a refund. All was good.
3 days later, no email confirmation and no refund.
Called back. Was told I didn’t ask for a refund. LIAR. And that since I didn’t call the say I was charged she couldn’t help me. I could tell she was trying anything to get away with this, so it was fairly easy to shut her down.
While on the call, I got an email showing a refund of $11.68. The rep told me the refund department would issue second half. That is a total heap of bull.

reoccurring charge
when I first used this website I paid the initial charged and cancelled the subscription right afterwards. Since then my card has been charged $23.95 each months for 2 or 3 months. The first time this happened I emailed them about it and they said that I had no subscription. This time I went to email them through their website and there send button wouldn't allow me to send my email. To sum it all up I apparently have no subscription yet I am being charged as if I have one. To me, the only explanation for this is that they lied about my subscription and are basically stealing from me. this company is a complete scam and I've seen others who have had the same issues with this company.
Desired outcome: I would like to be given a full refund for all the charges and for them to cancel whatever keeps charging my card as there is no obvious way to cancel or even see the status of a subscription through their website.

They make it seem like you are paying for one resume, but once they have your credit card, they keep charging. When I called, they insulted me by offering me an $11 credit. VERY fraudulent behavior. Scam company! This company cheated our young daughter. She was doing a school project and the site said it is a free service. She did not monitor her bank account and they ended up taking $300 out of her account. I called to report it to them and have them refund her money because she is so young and did not understand why they were doing that. They refused to refund her money and actually tried to upsell me on more services! These people are corrupt and should not be trusted.

Erroneous billing
Hello, I started an account in November and cancelled it in December. I'm still getting charged. I've called multiple times and sat on hold only to have my call dropped. The automated voice is saying it doesn't recognize the phone number associated with my resume (I'm looking right at it). Also tried chat, which also immediately dropped me, twice, before I could talk to anyone. This company is stealing my money. I don't want this account and I can't contact anyone. The only option I have now is to cancel my credit card. I am furious and this is a scam.

Unauthorized charges
I paid the $2 and change fee received a 14-day trial I canceled it on the third day because it's too expensive for what you get and it literally can't do more than help you and fill out a resume once you got your resume and you paid for it or whatever what else do you need to keep paying for monthly I didn't really see the reason I canceled it on the third day I hit the cancel subscription button on the page and I've been charged $23.95 two more times since then I even got a new card and I was still charged this last time on December 22nd even with my new card when I spoke with my bank they explain to me the subscriptions can be like that you can cancel and get a new card some descriptions or through your bank account and it will charge to your new card I explained to them that I canceled the subscription on the third day out of 14 day free trial they suggested that I call the merchant which I have nobody has called me back I sent emails & I also tried to chat with customer service they started chatting with me and then when I started talking about the unauthorized charges to my account and told them about the cancellation on the third day it told me to end the chat they had no experts available I need this to stop charging my card I'm already out $50 now after I cancel the subscription nobody will call me back nobody is assisting me this is unreal and just crazy that they're able to do this my bank told me there's so many people that have problems with canceling subscriptions you can't just hit the button you have to call and speak to somebody although they don't tell you that but they told me to try that but I can't get anybody on the phone or anybody to call me back and now I've gotten two new charges to my account.

On October 26, 2022 I downloaded a resume I createdI. I was willing to pay $2,95 for my resume but they used my payment information to charge me monthly $24+. I became aware of it because I was unexpectedly overdrawn on my account because of them. They are aware of what they are doing to people and it is shameful that this is the way they choose to make more money off of a paying customer.

Cancelation of my subscription
If you want to cancel your subscription, YOU MUST CALL TO CANCEL. I used the "Cancel Subscription" button on the subscription page and it doesn't actually cancel anything. They charged me for another 2 months before I realized I was still an active account. My Perfect Resume has refunded this months fee, but I still paid an extra month. If I had not checked I would still be getting charged.
Thats stealing if you ask me. They should either fix the button or take it off!

Multiple unapproved monthly charges and billing post cancelation
I was a monthly subscriber to MyPerfectResume.com since the summer of '22. I just recently canceled thier service on 10/25/22. I had to reach out to customer service again to ensure i received a cancellation comfirmation. Not to mention customer service tried to tell me there wasn't an account associated with my email/card despite having previous emails from the company regarding g a password reset. I was billed after I had canceled services with the company as well as after I'd received confirmation of said cancellation. After digging through my bank account history I'd noticed MyPerfectResume had billed me not just once, but twice and more throughout the months for I don't know what, but I never used the account after creating my initial resume. Each charge was posted at $23.95. Customer service hasn't emailed me back since the incident. I've never dealt with this level of unprofessionalism or fraud so blatantly.

This time last year I purchased a year-long subscription to create a resume and cover-letter when was applying for a new job. Now, I had completely forgotten that I had purchased this subscription, and today, after I cancelled my subscription ages ago, I get charged again for the yearly subscription. As my suspicions grew, I decided to properly check my bank statements. Now for some reason, throughout the year, I was charged just over $350 for no reason. Now I always saw these charges coming out throughout the year, however, I thought this was part of a monthly subscription as I had completely forgotten I had purchased the year-long subscription. Now, to make matters worse, they had charged a different bank account than the one that was chosen when I had my subscription. I tried calling contacting the number, and I was taken straight to voicemail with the call saying, "this number is no longer connected".
Now, this all happens 4 days before Christmas. Do not deal with this fraudulent company or you may be in the same situation as I am now.

I never signed up for a subscription. I hate and avoid automatic payments at all costs. In Nov. they billed my account for, 45 cents 4 times... Phishing to see if they could get money. Then from Jan 2022 till we caught it they have been billing $23.95 every month this year. Now Oct 2022. I am having my bank look into charging them back and fraud charges. I will also contact the FTC and show them the many people in the same boat being scammed. Can you say class action Law Suit? I will bet all of their good reviews are paid for.
