unauthorized monthly credit card charges
DO NOT I repeat DO NOT use this company. My credit card has been hit every month since September 2015 when I used their service for the first time. They have continued to charge my credit card. I NEVER gave permission for any other charges except for the first time. When I called to discuss this issue, I was hung up on. I had to have my credit card suspended by my bank so they can no longer charge my account. What a bunch of low life losers!
I own a business myself and would not think to STEAL from those I did business with. I also am filing with the Attorney General in their state to uncover these liars. Shame on you "MyPerfectResume".
one time service - creating your resume
What every you do, DO NOT use my perfect resume... They are not clear on the service they provide at all. They make it seem that you pay a one time fee which is minimal $2.95 to create a resume... this seems ok so yes I will pay that... until one month later they hit you with a $50.49 charge which apparently is a subscription I signed up for! What an absolute joke! Who the hell in their right mind would use a service like this... Don't be fooled by the very cleaver and sleekide set up this company has running! If you are not wanting to spend $50.49 a month to create what you believe is a one time fee of $2.95 just stay well away from this website all together.
Do not use this resume service! My perfect resume is a horrible horrible disgrace. Not only does it use awful smart alek foreigners who do not understand the English language written but even after I have cancelled...wait for it...not once but twice...My account is still getting hit. How dare you! As soon as I get a clear answer on who the parent company is, I will seek further action for misleading practices, failing to correct over charges by issuing me a refund. failing to discontinue services after a clear cancellation has been asked for. There is no number to call and so you are left to chat with whatever foreign country is working at the moment. DO NOT GET TRAPPED like so many of us have. By the way, I do not feel near as stupid as I did until I read all the negative reviews and It has convinced me that so many of us are having the same issue and no one is getting any resolve! Never have I had a company with worse customer service and zero resolve! Again, do not use this resume service. I honestly don't see how these people sleep at night doing so many people wrong...and just think of the people who are without jobs just trying to better their lives and they are hitting their accounts like this. You all ought to be put in a box and shipped to Iraq with Target practice written on the side! Worse company in the history of ever! Maybe a nice little class action law suit is in order...

worst resume site
I used their service, found a job and decided to cancel my subscription before the trial period was over. But the next month I noticed they charged my credit card and took $36. I sent them a messages, but their replies made no sense! It was like I was talking to wall or something. They assured me they never charged me, because my account was successfully cancelled. Their said all they could do is refund me $1! That wasn't even funny! They actually stole my money and it's not funny at all! Few days ago I checked my bank account and discovered that I was charged again! I am so sick of it! This company is a total scam!
Greetings Jaack, We are really sorry that you have had that experience with our service as well did not have the best customer service experience, rest assure that we will take action regarding to that.

At no stage while building resume is any cost mentioned it's not until you finish it a small fee is required and credit card details. Unknowingly that a fee of 34.95 will be coming out every month, it's a scam and this site needs to be shut down! By all the...

unauthorised billing on my credit card. tried to cancel but my credit card keeps being debited with a monthly amount.
I built a resume using the FREE RESUME service that is offered on the Internet. When I went to print it out I had to pay the fee of $3.95. I used a credit card number to pay this amount however I have noticed that my credit card has not been continually charged up to $54 per month now without my authorisation. I would like to request that all the debited amounts be refunded as I have never authorised these debited amounts. As the amount have been put onto a business credit card, it has taken a while to be picked up to see that there was an automatic debit occurring. There has been no communication or follow up from MY PERFECT RESUME and this service was only used once. Your immediate attention is required to this matter.

unauthorized credit card charges; unethical behavior
I do not have regular access to a computer so I am wary about any purchase on the internet. And in this case, I was very circumspect about the additional offers attached to the purchase of a single resume format from above website. I remember reading an offer to a subscription to a jobalert service, which I DECLINED. I was not made aware of any other vendors linked to this sale of a resume format so I do not know what incurred these two charges on 14 and 27 Nov, several weeks after I had concluded my original purchase! I request a refund of $95.69, the total amount extracted from my visa card as of 27 November 2015. I request that my account and the information therein be removed/deleted from the client list of the website. I invoke that my experience with the above website serve as a cautionary tale to their future clients.
additional charges beyond my knowledge from my account
I used this site to revise my resume, I was promted to pay 1.32 USD for the service which was rendered to me. I noticed on November 23th that 55.36 USD was taken from my saving account without my knowledge, I sent in a written complaint to my bank and ask them to dispute this transaction. I was told by my bank that the payment was pending and they couldn't anything until my perfect resume receive the funds on their end, I would like for my money to be posted back to my account because I wasn't told about any hidden fees. I will take the next step to report this company as fradulent to my bank which in return will go after all responsible parties. My name is Mehdi Hassani and the recorded num on my bank transaction is as follows [protected].1122
can you please give me the customer services email so I can complain, I have had the same thing happen to me
unauthorized charges to my credit card
I decided to update my resume for my current employer and came to this site to get a template. The advertisement was clear (or so I thought) that I would get billed a ONE time fee to access said template. I proceeded with the download, assuming that what I saw online was correct and that I would be billed a one time access fee of $1.95. Fast forward to today. My husband discovers that we're being billed $38.50 for a monthly subscription, something I did NOT sign up for. So we call the company to inquire. The first girl I speak to insists that the website is clear and that when I entered my credit card information, I agreed to the terms of the agreement. I kindly advised her that the site is NOTclear and does not specify that if you download a template for $1.95 you are also agreeing to a 14 day trial that you have to cancel later. What the website indicated is that I had access to my template from their site for 14 days. IF I had signed up for a 14 day trial...why would you charge me $1.95 for a template? That doesn't make sense. Secondly, I never received an email confirmation outlining those terms and conditions; something I pointed out to the customer service reps. The first lady didn't address that. The second agent, who was a very sarcastic and rude man, advised me that it would have gone to my SPAM folder. To say that this information ignited me is a bit of an understatement. I have never received email confirmations regarding memberships in my SPAM folder. WHY? Because most people do not check SPAM folders for such pertinent information; which I think is something this company anticipates. HAD I known to check a folder where Trojan horse emails, advertisements, and urgent requests for supposed singles looking to mingle go to die...well, I guess I would have received the notice that my credit card was going to be billed. Funny thing...they can't send the email confirmation outlining the membership details and opportunity to cancel to the inbox but every single email regarding cancellation was there! The customer service agent who FINALLY helped us get the full refund of $71.00 is an exception here, but this company is full of liars and thieves. I will NEVER do business with MyPerfectResume.com again. Buyer beware this company shadows its information with tricks and deceptions. DO NOT do business with them. And if you do... check your SPAM.
stealing money, poor experience
Stay away from this site and company! I used this site to create a resume. Little did I know that this company fools you. I looked at my bank statement and saw monthly deductions of $35.80. I never approved of anything of this sort. I never received a email saying I was subscribed to the website and I never received an email saying that I will be charged monthly. This is a bad way to run a business. They are stealing from me and will soon steal from you! I called to get this resolved and had no luck. Customer service has been a really bad experience.
making a resume - monthly automatic charge
This website, its practices and methods are very deceiving and purposely designed to trap people into an automatic, continuously indefinite monthly charge. I was contacted by m. K, because she had used the service to help her write a resume. She is a student, with no money, looking for work. She went to the website “my perfect resume”, for help with her resume, and paid the fee, about $3.00. She thought that was it, for her one time use. Around 2 weeks ago, she noticed a charge of $34.95 on her account, and didn’t know what it was for. After researching, she realized it was a fee from this place. Not only that, this was the third charge of $34.95! At no point did she get an email or any notification that these charges were being made to her account. So she called the customer service number, and they agreed to remove the last month’s charge. The representative told her that they would speak to a supervisor about the other two charges. A couple of days later, m. K. Received an email telling her that she would not receive a refund for the other two months. At that point, m. K, (understandably upset at losing so much money for nothing), asked me to serve as her representative, to see if they would act in “good faith” and remove the 2 charges. I did some research through internet searches and the better business bureau. All the red flags are there about their deceptive, and abusive business model, as they entrap the innocent and naïve people who are just trying to find a job. I called this number: [protected]. A lady with an accent answered. I had to ask to speak to a supervisor 5 times. Finally, “abel” came to the phone and identified himself as a “floor supervisor”. Later, at the end of our conversation, I asked for his employee i. D. Number for reference. He told me that he would not give me that for “safety reasons” and that it was “company rules” for safety. Interesting, isnt’ it? Afraid for your safety for an id number? I explained the situation to abel, the reason for the call, and asked, very politely, for a refund of my client’s two monthly charges. I also asked him why anyone needs to have indefinite, automatic monthly resume writing services. He answered that the website is not only designed for use, the charges are for the availability of the service, whether you use it or not. So I asked him” if I got a macy’s credit card, bought nothing each month, should they be entitled to charge me, because the store is there and available for me to use it?” his answer to that was that their service is just like costco, where you pay for membership. I pointed out that costco is a finite, one year membership fee, and that you agree to it, and do not give them your credit card number for them to syphon any money out of it automatically each month. He also told me a couple of times that the company does everything legally. Which may be true, but it is unethical and predatory! He seemed to have an answer for everything, so these complaint calls are obviously nothing new. Anyway, he was not helpful, nor empathetic, but asserted that everybody is satisfied with the company. Well, that is just not true, as evidenced by the many, many negative complaints easily found through a web search. When I asked him if I could do anything else to try to get satisfaction on this, he gave me two other numbers: [protected] and [protected]. I called the first number, which identified itself as “ live career”, not, my perfect resume. A young man, “r”, answered. I briefly told him why I was calling, and asked if he could help. After I explained the situation, he said he needed mk’s last 4 digits of her credit card. There was no assurance at this point that a refund would be given. Understandably, I was hesitant to give it, especially since they should already have all that information from charging mk before. He told me that I would have to speak to his supervisor, who was at lunch, but would be back in 20 minutes. So I said “ok”, and asked for the name of the supervisor. Here’s the clincher, ready for it? He said his name is abel! They are in the same building, within sight of each other! What is that? So… abel, volleys me over to someone else. Ping, pong! I told the young man, “never mind, I have already spoken to him, and he has no intention of helping.” I also let him know about this “game”- abel giving me another number for help, and it turns out that it’s the same place, only with two different business names! This company is really giving people the run-around. I speak to abel, he gives me another number. The representative at this number, tells me I have to speak to abel. So, to close this. Nothing positive came of this. All I can say is beware. It’s a shame, and downright mean, inconsiderate and greedy to prey on people who are looking for work! By the way, the resume is nothing special. You do not need this service!
Contrary to "Anna's" message above, stating "I look forward to hearing from you", there has been no attempt to reach the person named above in order to reach a good faith settlement of the issue. This is IN SPITE of us sending the email address for the person. So while the email response from "Anna" above states how sorry they are about he experience, there is apparently NO real effort or concern to (as Anna above states), "look at it personally and resolve this issue quickly for you." We are very disappointed at the lack of follow-up on this by Perfect Resume (or is it Live Career), but not too surprised.
I am sending you Ms. KZ's email address. However, for the last four digits of card she used, we will need a more direct way to contact you.
Kelly.Ziegler22@gmail.com
Thank you.
Nancez
Hello Anna. You state in the above message that you want Ms. KZ (the person I'm representing) to contact you directly, but I don't see how. I see the name Katrina-LiveCareer up at the top of this message, but obviously, that's NOT you. Also, when I click on that "hot" link, it takes me to Katrina's profile, which has been seen in 2012, plus below that are the other complaints against Perfect REsume. If you would please advise me how I can have KZ contact you directly without having to expose her email and last four digits of her credit card information on THIS complaints website, I would appreciate it!. We really would appreciate a good faith resolution to this matter.
Thank you,
Nancez - for KZ

unauthorized charges
On 13th July last, I paid an amount of KYD$2.49 for the advertised "free" resume builder. I was not aware of any further charges and did not authorise any such billing. On 27/07, 24/08 and 21/09 I was dismayed to see that this company billed me amounts of KYD30.13 for a total of KYD$90.39 I did not authorise any of these charges, nor did I receive any services from them.
Whilst I will not hold my breath, I expect to receive a full refund from these unauthorised charges and I hope that the many others who appear to have been duped by these devious business practices will also be reimbursed.
LiveCareer,
I am getting charged although i don't have an account and i have sent 5 different tickets and nothing has been done! this is beyond a joke! not happy!

unauthorized charges. unethical behaviour.
I never signed up for any services from any resume companies. I do not have an account with myperfectresume. I have never used any of their services. I do not know how they got my banking information. They have charged nearly $200 for no services rendered. This is nothing less than pure theft. This is a criminal enterprise.
"I never signed up for any services from any resume companies. I do not have an account with MyPerfectResume. I have never used any of their services. I used the site to build and create a resume. After I paid to use it I cancelled my subscription but still got charged. Checking online I found several complaints as the are frauds. I have informed my bank.

recurring billing without consent
I subscribed to this free resume building service on myperfectresume.com on 24th july and paid a fee of $3 for downloading the resume without consenting to divulge my credit card details for any further billing without my consent. I received a welcome email and a message of congratulating me on taking my first step towards achieving my career goals, none of them mentioning anywhere even in fine prints that my credit card info is stored and will be billed for Rs 2290.26 (dollar equivalent) after a period of 15 days. Not even a day prior i received any email or message saying my due date for renewal or something like that is tomorrow, not a warning and on 8th August I am billed for Rs 2290.26 on my credit card for something i cant figure out. I did not authorize this and this was not validated, this is not only a con but also immoral of you. I am deactivating all subscriptions and want my money back as early as possible. Apart from my bank sending me a notification, the website does not even bother to send a notification that there has been a recurring billing on my account, thats a smart way to sneak in money without getting noticed. Im sure im not the only one conned by them, unfortunately i did not judge them before making the first transaction. Its really sad to see such companies trying to make money out of people' predicament. Please do not subscribe to MyperfectResume.com or LiveCareer, its a fraud.

didn't give me a full refund
I think perfect resume should send out a email if you are going to be billed. I didn't see the small print that said I will be billed 35 dollars. If I wanted to be billed 35 dollars than I would have spent more with ya'll the first time not 2.95. This website site is a ripe off and I will NOT tell anyone to use ya'll website. Oh and I called ya'll today for a refund of my 35 dollars but yet I will only get 26 dollars back. So get take the rest of my money. NEVER again but a full refund would be nice

charged account!
I paid over $2.00 for the 14 day subscription for this service. On their website, they say after 14 days you will be charged $10.00 every four weeks.
I looked on my account, and they charged me $35 dollars! I have no clue why the charged me, and there's nothing that informed me they would take out that amount of money. I've looked in my inbox and spam folders to make sure they didn't send an email, but there's nothing there. It is ILLEGAL to take peoples money without informing them, and without their consent! This was not in the terms and conditions. This website is a scam.

Those are some of our statements indicating the auto renewal as well the terms and conditions are available for the client before and after the purchase as well the email address that we send indicate the auto renewal date and the exact amount.
We are very sorry that you feel that way. We explain that the subscription is auto-renewing. The auto renewal is listed with the features of the 14 day subscription on the sales page, as well as on the payment and confirmation pages. We also send a payment confirmation email stating the date and amount of the auto- renewal. We do offer several ways to cancel including by phone, live chat, email and self-cancellation in your Account Settings. We are very committed to providing great customer service and again are very sorry that you had this experience. We take all feedback very seriously. It will be forwarded to our Marketing team.
