MyIDCare Stop interacting with me via spam emails and delete all info from my account.

I tried to contact them long time ago to get them to stop spamming me with their spam engagement fake emails that try to give you the impression that you have some thing that you need to login to check. And to have the sex offender registry portion of the service which is not anything related to the actual portion of the service that I was told i'd be signed up for. I live in an apartment community and walls are thin so having any kind of verbal discusson about sex offender registry seemed like something that I didnt want to have verbally. So I emailed their company through their online form. At the idx company that owns this service.

They ressponded with a loud voicemail stating generically something something calling in respond to your sex offender status. Something something. Anyway. My neighbors seemed to enjoy hearing that. Good thing they moved. Anyway.

I've never spoken to them since. But I did get my account locked. And cant log in. I tried to have this membersship removed through the opm but that failed. Tried several times. Asked to have thiis converted to their us postal servicce version that they claim to offer. Offline version. Nope. Offered through opm to have me considered a non phoone user. Nope. Their website says they offer non internet and non phone options. Not true.

This was really really long ago. I havent used this in forever. I just want it shutdown. I asked for them to verify that I want it shutdown via us mail. Nope.

They have my info. Probably seeding it into search engines and on the dark web. I dont trust that they are not accidently putting it out there in the process of trying to see if it is out there. I dont use the service so its no upside to me. Also it just permanently sitting in their database to be hacked. I dont want my bankl account info and credit card info and ssn sitting in their database any longer. Told them this long long long ago. Via opm.

Nobody responds to me. They require a phone call. I'll never verbally speak to these people again. Not after what they did.

I just want this account shut down.

Shut this garbage account down.

Desired outcome: verify via us mail. they no my email, and my address. dont call me. delete my stupid account that I cannot log in to.

MyIDCare I received notification that my MyIDCare account was locked and to call the number provided to unlock

I received notification that my MyIDCare account was locked and to call the number provided to unlock. I tried every option provided to no avail. I was unable to make any type of contact regarding my locked account. They make it impossible to have an account unlocked. I just want to get back into my account.

MyIDCare I tried contacting MyIDCare at the number provided on the Internet and on their monitoring alert email and despite trying several times to talk

I tried contacting MyIDCare at the number provided on the Internet and on their monitoring alert email and despite trying several times to talk to a live person, I was unable to do so. Their automated answering service does not allow you to just stay on the line to talk to a customer service representative. I called because I was locked out of my account and all it kept telling me was to log into my account. They need to provide a different customer service phone number!

MyIDCare I am a victim of the Office of Personnel Management breach

I am a victim of the Office of Personnel Management breach. This company was contracted to assist individuals with identification restoration as well as restoration financially. My case was created and a promise of insurance representation calling me back within 2 business days 16 October. I was told to hire an attorney then call them back to establish my insurance claim. I had to take out a home equity loan to hire the attorney and they ignore all phone messages as well as any emails. Two complaints have been issued to the company, which did not help me get this resolved.

MyIDCare I used the company about 10 years ago, was not that happy with them and cancelled

I used the company about 10 years ago, was not that happy with them and cancelled. Ever since this company has been sending me fraud alert emails that are not real. When I get them I sign on to my fraud alert service and have no alerts. I look at my credit report and have no alerts. I can't unsubscribe and I cannot reach a person to make them stop. When I try to sign in under my old account it says I'm locked out and I need to call. When I call I can't get to a real person and the menu won't let me do anything without my credentials which I don't have because I'm not a paid member. This is absolute abuse and there is no way for me to stop it. My account *** have my maiden name *** but the email is the same.

On 5/31/2022 I received and email from MyIDCare that stated that it has discovered that one or more of your identity monitoring services has a new notification. This is not a credit notification. I went to log in to my account and was informed that my account is locked. I called the number listed to get it unlocked but was unable to get that done due to none of the selections listed during the call pertaining to a locked account. I was also unable to speak to a live person as there is no option to speak to a live person. I googled the issue and saw that Complaintsboard.com has several complaints on this exact issue so I am filing this complaint in the hopes that I can get my MyIDCare account unlocked so I can review what details the aforementioned email is talking about.

MyIDCare My complaint pertains to the lack of service by IDCare for unlocking my account

My complaint pertains to the lack of service by IDCare for unlocking my account. I have tried repeatedly to reach a representative via their customer service line *** so that my account can be unlocked but no one ever answers. The automated line doesnt even provide an option to unlock my account either. This service is provided so that affected employees can monitor our accounts, but IDCare does not have a feature for employees to unlock their own accounts (even trying to reset the password does not work). If no one from ID Care can ever be reached, then I will never be able to unlock and access my own account - and thus not receive the protection from the service that OPM is supposed to be providing employees impacted by the security breach where our personal information was compromised.

MyIDCare On Friday, 5/13, I received an email from MyIDCare saying "Review your Indentity Record Notification from MyIDCare

On Friday, 5/13, I received an email from MyIDCare saying "Review your Indentity Record Notification from MyIDCare". I go online to OPM's MyIDCare which I joined after the cyber attack in *** (?) It said my account was locked. So, I went in and changed my password, and it still says I am locked out after several tries. I had not tried to access MyIDCare for months, so this is hard. Especially since it won't take my password and let me review my data. I then used the phone number to call for help, to talk to someone. No such luck! I was told to push lots of numbers to finally get to the point where someone would respond. I tried several time and no one responded. NO ONE! What can I do now? This mechanized phone answering system leads you on and then stops you in a deadend and no one answers the phone, no one is there to help. I still don't know if my data is OK, since I can't access my account! Please help!

MyIDCare We (spouse & I) have ID monitoring provided by MyIDCare due to the Equifax breach

We (spouse & I) have ID monitoring provided by MyIDCare due to the Equifax breach. When you sign into the MyIDCare site, area *** offender information is available. One *** offender, GS, has an address listed as ***. However, the pin on the map ERROROUSLY shows his location south of *** on ***, south of ***. This pin is either on or close to property we own at ***; GS does not live there. We have reported this to MyIDCare three times, most recently on 2/14/2022. No corrective action has been taken. We have been told on the phone calls, they are not responsible for the inaccurate location, can't change the map, and are unable to do anything about it. I entered the *** address in *** maps. It locates the address near ***, , 12 miles from the location pinned on the map.This is affecting our good name and will affect the future sale of our property. MyIDCare is not providing accurate information to customers.

I was enrolled in MyIDCare after OMB was hacked in 2015 compromising the personal information of thousands of federal employees, including multiple members of my family. I received a notice today of an Identity compromise related to my personal information yesterday and today. When I tried to log into my account, I received the following notice: "The account you are attempting to access is currently locked. Please contact Customer Support at *** for further assistance (IMC45)." I have now tried to log into my MYIDCare account without success, and I have followed their instructions and called their Customer Support phone line in an effort to access my account -- but after calling over and over again over 30 times (thus far) over the course of this afternoon and evening seeking assistance as instructed, I have yet to get through to someone who can help me. Instead, I keep receiving a recorded message urging me to log-in to my account -- WHICH I CANNOT DO because I have been LOCKED OUT! I am concerned by this complete lack of assistance; and, for good reason, I am frustrated.

MyIDCare As a civilian employee; I received a letter from the Office of Personal Management back in 2015 stating that I was affected by the OPM breach; (

As a civilian employee; I received a letter from the Office of Personal Management back in 2015 stating that I was affected by the OPM breach; (the severely affected group) where all of my personal information and fingerprints were involved. Long story short; I started receiving a massive amount of collection calls in 2017 so I ordered my credit reports from all 3 credit bureaus. To my shock each credit report contained 35-45 pages; full of fraudulent accounts and hard inquires; they even included my name on the bottom of the reports with a Tampa Address that was not mine. I then had to fill out a police report in my town and one in Tampa where the Offender lives. I then referred back to the letter from OPM stating what to do if my personal information was used. That is when I was given the phone number for My ID Experts MyID Care; a CSIIdentity Corporation. The person I spoke with first on the phone said ''they would have to re-confirm I was a part of the Breach."; even after I had given them the letter I received and my PIN generated from OPM. I heard absolutely nothing back from ID experts for 7 months. During a 3 month period my credit had dropped from 800 to 520 in less than 3 months time. During that 7 month time period I was waiting for MYID care to ''reconfirm I was part of the breach'' ; I was forced to deal with all of the creditors; collection calls , letters etc on my own because the person responsible for the fraudulent accts just kept doing more and more. I spent over 21,000 dollars and still accruing in lost wages and having to handle this on my own. It was a horrific experience. During the 7 months period I was ''waiting for them to confirm''; I continued calling the number given to me for ID experts and got the complete runaround. That 7 months later i was finally connected to a man T.M. who sent me a CSID Power of Attorney form on behalf of ID Experts. I signed this form; had it notarized and sent back to T.M. Because it had been 7 months for them to finally agree to help me; T.M. Stated ; ''well your credit looks pretty good to me.'' I informed him that of course it had improved because I was forced during that 7 months time period doing everything on my own. He then did 3; three-way calls with me and got very frustrated with the creditors himself and stated. "i am just going to submit a claim for this.'' ; he then said someone would be in touch with me to help me with my claim. 3 months later a T.R. contacted me and told me to send her the receipts that I spent working on my claim and that bank account statements would be fine. I then submitted a claim and sent multiple receipts and bank statements to her ; even highlighting the massive amounts I paid from various stores for ink , faxing, copying scanning etc. About 2 months later they sent me a check for a very low amount of money. When I called back to talk to T.R. I was informed that my case was closed. I explained to her that this case of Identity theft was huge and still ongoing . I then explained to her that I was subpoenaed to appear at the State Atorney office in the Tampa Business District ; the state where the Offender lives at the address that was all over my credit reports. and I had to even pay for a flight out there and hotel to deal with the Subpoena and Victim impact statement and to swear in and prove my own identity to the Tampa police Department in order to receive my 300 page police report. I explained all of this in several emails to CSID ; explaining that I was subpoenaed to go and I even had receipts for my air fare and hotel and even letters from the State Attorney and the subpoena letter proving I was there for the Identity theft case but no one from My ID care responded. If anyone has dealt with Identity theft of this magnitude ; they know that Identity Theft is an ongoing process that I am still working on this to this day and the fact that MyID care/ CSID closed my case is unacceptable. In the promise of My ID care coverage and CSID it clearly says the coverage includes up to a million dollar coverage for time and money spent and even lawyer fees. Apparently that also was a lie as I still need a lawyer to this day because the person who did this crime got arrested and was court ordered to pay me restitution but had not done so and she is scheduled to get off of probation in the next month. I need an attorney in order to get her wages garnished or for a civil lien against her. Even though she is currently on probation she is still continuing to use my personal information to acquire Tampa phone numbers that I have recently found on my credit report. None of this is being addressed ; again I am having to fight this all on my own. I get notices in my email saying to check your MyID care account which is impossible because I still can't even get into it. I have tried calling My ID Care and CSID multiple times and no one will get back to me regarding any of this. This company should be shut down from all of the promises they claim you will receive if you are affected by Identity Theft by the Breach and what do they do? Absolutely nothing; this is pure negligence.
