Notification of backorder was slow but got a great price and received my order in a reasonable time. (Approx 3 weeks) I will order from them again as I did not have any of the problems stated in the negative reviews. Thanks My Vitanet!

MyVitanet is a trainwreck of a business. If you are looking for low prices and even lower customer service, you have found your match. This company will take your order and immediately process your form of payment but do NOTHING for WEEKS despite claiming that your order is in their "shipping department" waiting to be shipped. For instance, I have been waiting to receive an order placed 05Jan2009. According to MyVitanet, this order has been in their shipping department for over three weeks. I am confident that the pony express could have gotten it to me in half that time. Of course, you can always just call their toll-free number for customer service but if you expect to speak to a person, you are in for disappointment. On the two occasions where I have actually spoken to a person, I spent significant amounts of time on hold (exceeding 20 minutes) and the people I spoke to were completely unhelpful. I have requested a refund repeatedly over the past several weeks and despite being told once that my refund was processed, I have no money and no product. I have contacted the attorney general in Ohio and the BBB to pursue this matter and am working with my bank to dispute the charges on my credit card. I offer a warning to any prospective MyVitanet customers--BUYER BEWARE! FWIW, I have made several orders with MyVitanet in the past and there were NO complaints but things have gone horribly wrong and I suspect that this company will not be in business for much longer.

I will NEVER order from this company again! They are horrible and their shipping dates are all lies! I ordered on March 2, 2009. I called over a week later to ask why my order hadn't been shipped out and after waiting 30 Mins on hold with the message repeatedly telling me that I had the option to leave a message and that they strongly suggest that I do so, I finally got some lame customer service rep that told me they had just received the order in their department and it would be shipped out within two business days. ANOTHER LIE! It still hasn't shipped and it's been three full weeks! I'm going to call tomorrow if it doesn't ship and demand a refund. This is a really poor excuse for a business and I don't understand how they are still surviving! I wish I had done more research before I used them. It's not worth the savings if they just take your money and never send your order out! I will be calling the better business bureau as well!

My story mirrors previous complaints listed on this site. I am sitting here at the moment, awaiting Vitanet's "your call will be answered in 8 minutes" response. That was nearly 20 minutes ago. Jazz is playing annoyingly as background music (jazz is really okay with me, so it's probably just because I'm annoyed), and every couple of minutes, I get a message that says, "Thank you for your patience. We should be with you soon." Yeah, right. Third time this week I've tried to get them. The last one told me my call would be answered in 11 minutes--needless to say, that didn't happen. After reading the other complaints, I'm considering giving up and calling the BBB and attorney general myself.

Okay, just now got a customer representative "Maureen" (20 minutes exactly). I immediately said I did not get my refund. She told me (immediately) that it was held up in accounting. I asked her how she would know this since she hadn't even asked me my name or order number. I told her about all the complaints I was seeing on the internet. She finally asked me for my name and looked me up. She told me to "hang on a moment." I asked her how long a "moment" was. She said "just long enough to speak to my supervisor." We'll see.

Okay, took a couple of minutes, but she came back and said that her supervisor would make sure I'd be refunded by the end of the day. Again, we'll see.

I cannot believe this company is still in business..they won't answer the phone..they don't fill your orders...Ok..if they are out of something let somone know...if this is not the problem..then their owner needs to find new employees. They hang up on you when you tell them you have been trying to reach them for days. I don't think Dr. Mark Kowalski even exists...he is "supposed" to be a Dr...and is supposed to be the "founder" of this joke of a company. Go elsewhere...save yourself time..and high blood pressure.

There should be more action we can take than just writing on this board that probably is not hurting their business one bit as who thinks to google a business name when a site looks legit, right? They had excellent selection, I guess we can give them that? But getting some or all of your order is another story.

I am mad at myself because I know better than to order from a place with no customer service phone #. That is RULE #1. Even if there appears to be an email address customer service, don't do it, but these MFers don't even have that. And I can't even sign back into the website to use their so called "customer service wizard". Somehow the password that I know for sure is my password, is saying that it is not correct. And so when I click the button to recover password by having them send it to my email address, says it will be sent momentarily, I never get an email telling me what my password is or hot to reset it. So then there's no way to contact customer service as you need to be able to log in to do that and I can't log in. So it only takes your password if you try to place an order. I think I should call their phone #, take a long time to place long orders and then give them fake credit card #s that won't go thru, just to keep their people from answering the phones to place real orders so that I can get even with these you know whats! Anyway, I'm quite sure i paid with my credit card so I'm going to call them and enter a dispute for the item I didn't receive because I don't believe in indefinite back order. I'm not going to sit and wait around to see if I ever get the item, I have to order it somewhere else if I want it. A company should know when they expect to get a shipment in of something that they sell all the time. This isn't like shoes or clothing where u run out of a style, this is crap that stock all the time. So it seems like a scam that maybe on everyone's order they purposely don't send one item. This business practice to make a few extra bucks first off makes no sense to me as I would think most companies in the supplements business make a lot more from repeat business than to have to draw in new unsuspecting people to place one order when they will never reorder after they are ripped off. So I don't get how they can make so much profit off of cheating me out of a $$12.50 item rather than for me to have ordered with them again for $100 or so in the future. It just boggles the mind that it is worth it to them to be a terrible company, like the opposite of Zappos. It is like they should have a page on their site like zappos does saying that they strive to have the worst customer service, to care the least about their customers, to have the worst business practices and models, to have the worst delivery, to have the worst system of handling back orders, etc, etc...

There is just trouble with regulating internet commerce sadly. Any internet retailer should be required to post a working customer service phone # and email. They should not be allowed by whatever company hosting their site to continue hosting if in violation. There should be investigators just like we have the FDA and EPA and so on making sure that all US based internet businesses have this so that customers can call when they have a problem with an order, not just a place with a phone # to take orders saying that those same people have no access to existing orders, gimme a break.

So believe me, do not order from them, find the same or similar product somewhere else, even if you have to pay a couple dollars more.

It took them a week to first ship my order, then another 4 days, then like I said, it was missing an item, claiming on back order, but then why when you order it on the site does it not say out of stock? Seriously! And then they don't tell you when it is expected in like most other companies do. So don't order from them.

It's not like I lost a lot of money from them, but I think we should all take action besides writing here as the first post notes, contact the Ohio Atty General and also go to the BBB website and file a complaint there. We have to show this is not a thing that happens hewre and there, but probably to a large % of their customers, if not all of us?

I just want to post for everyone the company that owns myvitanet.com is Mother Nature Inc, which also has this website, among about 6 other supplement websites, mothernature.com, from there you can find the email to the CEO of myvitanet R. Whitney Anderson. Maybe you have a few words you want to express to the CEO of the company you're not happy with?

You can file a complaint from that link with the BBB and I guess you could maybe contact the NYS Atty General if your situation is really bad like didn't receive anything and they won't give money back, but in that case you could also contact your credit card company or paypal. So they are not in Ohio any more, they were sold and they are run out of NY, actually only about an hour from me!

Ok, guys, glad to update you that writing to the CEO got me a very quick email response back that my missing item on back order will be addressed on Monday by head of customer service (or the only one working in customer service?) I placed my order with MyVitanet.com on October 8th, I called and they said the product was in stock. on October 26th my order was still listed as 'warehouse processing'. They processed my order damn fast... they seemed eager to take my money. When I called back, they were VERY rude and VERY unhelpful. at this point they are going to cost me more money than I would have saved. I hope they are shut down soon so other people don't go looking for a deal in this economy and end up getting screwed over like I did.

Yes, totally a bad company to deal with. What reputable company does business without some sort of telephone contact at all? They do, with the exception for the order line where you get a recording stating not to leave a message as the order takers do not have access to prior order status. WTF? How can I talk to them? I'm calling my cc company now and disputing the charge. Its been 3 weeks since I paid them and nothing...no product...no answers to my email...nada!

Yes - this website is AWFUL. They have lost my order and refuse to contact me about it. I only get emails from a computer. DO NOT give your money to mothernature.com. You will get screwed.

I ordered two items from the MyVitaMin web site on 1/20/2011. The information on the website identified that the combined time for processing and shipping worst case would be 20 days. Almost immediately, I received an order confirmation from. I noted that the credit card charge was posted on 1/21/2011 when I received my next statement. On 2/21/2011, I began my attempts to contact MyVitaMin to get a status on my order. I found that I needed a password to get any status on my order. I requested a password and received a response that it had been sent and I would be receiving it shortly. It never came. I tried again, but no password arrived. I checked my internet options in accordance with the instructions they provided on the website and found I was in compliance. I found another means on the website to request information that did not require a password. I described my situation. Almost immediately, I received a response stating that my request was received, that my request # was 71515, and that I would receive a response to my inquiry within 1-2 business days. I have not yet received a response to my inquiry (over a week later). I spent several hours calling the 800 phone number. I went to option 2 and got no help from the ordering department - they were only geared up to take orders and nothing else. I noted that the 800 number allowed you to direct your call to an individual if you knew the extension. I randomly selected a dozen or so extensions. I got a number of extensions with an answering machine and left several messages, but never got a person. None of the messages resulted in a call back to me. Finally, I received the shipment on 2/28/2011 - a better experience than many have documented. As of today, 3/1/2011, I have not received a response to any of my inquiries about the status of my shipment. I am not inclined to do business with this vendor in the future. This is the only business I can recall doing business with that has failed on so many fronts to provide status on an order.

my husband ordered from them they ripped him off. its a farudulent site and should be taken down. the people who run the site get your info and use it. they are a scam operation. i am contacting my attorney general and the bb of course. they must be stopped and arrested for fraud!

I have ordered from Vitanet in the past and did not have any problems. But now I do. I was billed and paid for a complete order when items were back-ordered. I requested a refund in December and was informed the process would take about 10 days and up to 2 billing cycles to show on my cc acount. It's now mid-March and I still have not received a refund for undelivered merchandise. I'm told that my request is still in queue, but refunds must be handled manually in accounting. Other Web merchants do not expect payment in the first place unless an item is ready to be shipped. I have taken my business elsewhere.

I am having the same negative experience as those above. I placed an order, was sent incorrect items, and one was missing. Two months later, after emailing customer service a few times, I have yet to receive a refund. Extremely dissatisfying experience. I strongly recommend against this company.

HAVE NEVER RECEIVED MY ORDER BUT THEY SURE GOT MY $74.25 FROM MY CREDIT CARD. I AM SO UPSET THAT I WILL KEEP ON UNTIL I FIND OUT EXACTLY WHO THESE PEOPLE ARE AND WILL FILE CHARGES ON THEM FOR FALSE ADVERTISING AND THEFT. I WILL BE IN TOUCH WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL. I have placed an order on March19, was billed on March21, 2011 and have nor received anything yet. When I tried to contact them via email, I received no reply, nothing. I will wait until the end of April and then contact the Better Business Bureau.

I have placed an order on march 20. My credit card was charged on march 21. I sent numerous emails and fax without responce. Every time I called talked to a machine telling me to use web site or email. Seems this compony is a scam. I will try contacting again, after that I will have to take action to recover my money.

I ordered 8 tubes of Biofreeze from MyVitanet.com on 02/03/2011. Everytime I checked the site, the shipping date was changed to 2 more days later. I contacted them on 03/07/2011 asking for a refund. They replied that they were having problems with the manufacturer, but had a better product called FreezeRx they would send me for the same price. I received it on 03/20/2011, but had a bad reaction to it. I returned it on 03/22/2011 and asked for a refund of my money. It is now 05/01/2011 and I am still waiting for my money. This place is definitely a scam. They take your money fast enough, but they don't want to return it.

First time I ordered only half of my order was shipped after 60 days and took 2 months to get a refund. Now I only recieved 2 out of 7 items and have been waiting almost 5 months for a refund on non recieved items! There is no phone number to contact them and email messages are excuses telling me their waiting for the accounting department? What accounting department takes 5 months to issue a refund!? It is not worth saving 2 or 3 dollars on a bottle of vitamins! The vitamins I did recieve were 2 months after I placed the order, cheers to good health!

I placed an order on 2/17/11 and received everything except one B stress complex, which was backordered. One month later (mid- March) I emailed to request a refund on the backordered and never received item and was told that I would receive a refund of 10.27 which is owed to me still on May 13, 2011.
It does not take 3 months to issue a refund.
Have gone to the site and connot get the "contact wizard" to open up so I can email them again. Sent regular email and it has never been acknowledged. Can't find a phone # for them anywhere.
Have ordered several times from them before this without any problems, but wont' ever order from them again.

I actually got a refund check in the mail yesterday. I cashed it at Citibank where it was drawn. Contact BBB of New York and file a complaint. They will work fast for you.

Here is a letter that I just left on MyVitanet contact form:
Hi, just wanted to say that I have been a faithful Iherb.com customer for several years. I decided to try your service as you were carrying one item that Iherb.com didn't have. What a huge mistake to place an order with your company, not being informed that half of my items were on back order and would take much longer to recieve. I will continue to refer my clients to iherb.com, and will definitely warn them about your company. I have place probably close to one hundred orders with iberh over the last 3 years, and have never, ever had one problem with that company. Once, I did call them and was able to talk with someone on the phone, which shows me that iberb actually cares about customer service. The other frustrating thing besides the looooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnggggggggg waiting time for my items from your company, is that I cannot talk to anyone about this on the phone, your only method of contact is email. I will never purchase from you again. If you decide in the future to change your way of doing business, please let me know and I will consider reordering from you one more time for a test run. If I can find somewhere to post this information to save others from making the same mistake that I have, I definitely will.

You recieved my order and check for Biofreeze on 5/11/2011. So far I have recieved 3 changes to delivery dates, the latest being 6/27/11.
WHY IS MY ORDER PUT BACK, WHEN MY COMETITOR RECIEVED BETTER SERVICE. You want your money up front, but our commitments are of no concern to you. What gives? I thought you were a bigger company who sells service as well as quality.

Do not ever order from myvitanet. I placed an order on 5/11/2011 for biofreeze and within 5 minutes I receive a message stating that they don't have that product in stock but they would recommend another product RX Freeze which I declined. I asked them to cancel my order within 5 minutes and was told that my order was already in the warehouse and that it couldn't be cancelled. I finally got them to cancel my order but of course they had already taken my money, I was told that it would take 1 - 2 billing cycles for my refund to show back up. I am still waiting on my refund which it has been 2 months now and was told today that they need more time to process my refund. Why does it take them so long to process a refund but they sure did take my money immediately.

This is a best an organization run by ethically challanged individuals. Not only are chages billed before shipping but they make it difficult to cancel for merchandise that is not in stock even when claiming it is in at the time an order is placed. Unless you want to get ripped off - do not order anything from them.

My Vita Net was recommended to me by someone who must have a stake in the company. I went full speed ahead and have for several years ordered about $150.00 worth of products every 6 weeks. I did have one problem a year ago. It was taken care of in a reasonable time with both sides satisfied. But the story does not end there. I placed a $160.00 order on June 22. After 2 weeks of waiting I checked my account which stated that part of the order had been sent and I had been sent a notice that it was in the mail. I had received no such notice and so inquired as to where the order was. When checking my account, there was a notice that my inquiry had been received and answered. Answered? No! So I continued to send a message every day and the account would read answered every day. Then the partial order package came. I waited almost a month before the second package arrived. Okay...so all is well, Right? No, there is still one $14.56 item that is missing. I am still waiting for a response from them about my missing item. This is the painful thing about My Vita Net. They will not communicate. It is frustrating to deal with a company who does not have a clue that we are real people out here. Maybe the free postage come on they offer needs to be made up by cheating people. Who knows why they lack the integrity of decency to at least communicate in a timely fashion. What is worse, they lie about their communication practices. By the way, I just received my answers in one swoop giving me a tracking number and a sorry. All this a week after I received my order in the mail. But no explanation as to where my $14.56 item is. Will I deal with them again? Of course not if I don't receive the item or at least get a refund. And even then, I will be difficult for me to take the plunge.

What a rip off. Order placed 2 months ago. Charge made on my credit card. Unable to reach anyone to talk to. E-mails go unanswered. My credit card company is now contacting them to see what is going on. I'm just sorry I had not researched Vianet before I placed my order.

What a terrible company. My complaints echo some of those above. Item is continuously on backorder. Sent email to customer service. No response. Tried to call. Says use our online customer service. Tried to cancel - can't the order is in the shipping department. I have disputed the charge. Also have ordered AND received the item from another supplier. Cost a little more but worth it. MYVITANET is a terrible site.

I GAVE THIS COMPANY HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS AND MORE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS AND SUDDENLY THEY HAVE DECIDED TO STIFF ME. I BEGAN TO DEAL WITH THEM THROUGH A SOURCE THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE TRUSTED. I DID NOT CHECK FOR COMPLAINTS BECAUSE THIS PERSON HAS A WEB SITE AND WAS GIVING VITAMINE ADVICE FOR A MALADY THAT I HAVE. I WRONGLY ASSUMED THIS PERSON WOULD HAVE CHECKED OUT THESE PEOPLE BEFORE RECOMMENDING THEM ON HER WEBSITE. I AM ONLY OUT FIFTEEN DOLLARS AND CHANGE FOR AN ITEM THEY DID NOT SEND, BUT THAT IS THIEVERY IN MY WORLD. I SENT AN EMAIL TO THE CEO AT MOTHER NATURE AND HAVE BEEN IGNORED. YES, THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SLOW WITH SENDING MY ORDERS, BUT THIS LAST TIME WAS EVEN WORSE. I INQUIRED AND WAS NEVER ANSWERED EVEN THOUGH UPON LOOKING AT MY ACCOUNT INFO, IT SAID I HAD INQUIRED AND THEY HAD ANSWERED ME. AND ABOUT THE PHONE CALLS. HOW ON THIS EARTH DOES ANYONE GET THROUGH. THE PHONE JUST GOES DEAD ON ME. TRUST ME, IF YOU HAVE NOT YET BEEN ROBBED BY THIS COMPANY JUST KEEP ORDERING FROM THEM AND YOU WILL.

I my ordeal started at the end of April, 2011 and they told me it was back ordered, then it changed to they still didn't have it, the next communication was and we are in June now, that I had cancelled the order which I did not and yet another person is responding to my request for my refund her name is Tatiana, was the last person my case(or complaint was moved to)
I have emailed her and there was some guy that responded as this was too long, he stated I would get refunded on shipping, then I get a they had forwarded my request for refund and it was confirmed on 6-8-11 via her email.
Funny thing $179.11 is alot of money to just give away. I work with a homeless shelter for children and adults. Apparently, they have cut me off on inquiring for my refund. So I found out from a US attorney I have worked with to give me ideas of what I can do. All of us should do a class action suit again this company and if you want to do it solo it is a fraud case. There are a few attorneys who are aces at this. I will never understand why this company will not refund my money, I have a copy of every correspondence, proof of the FRAUD. #92425
