I signed a 6 sessions classic mani+pedi package at Nail Palace at Bugis + after a lot of hard selling that I encountered. But at least it was decently done for the mani+pedi so I decided to give it a try. However, on my 2nd session, I just randomly walked into Wisma branch to have it done and the person doing my pedicure for me tried to hard sell me the skin removal session for my feet, at first for $398, and seeing I wasn’t keen, then ask me to do the $198, and then eventually when I still didn’t want to pay extra, she ask me to add $10 for a tablet to at least soften my skin so she can remove my dead skin easier. I did that but however she barely even scrap at my dead skin and it was really terrible that I had to go home and do it myself instead. I have never encountered a full pedicure with so minimum scrapping and I spent $10 additional for the tablet to “soften” my dead skin for this purpose. Don’t keep upselling when the basic service is not even done. This just totally put customer off and I am so pissed at this badly done pedicure that I will never want to pay any more extra money to Nail Palace and I worry for my remaining 4 sessions where I have to be “upsell” every single session and when I refuse to pay anything extra, the basic session is comprised and not even done well! Please totally look at your operating style. I understand you need sales but not when you have already sold me a package and then not fulfil the basic obligations of the package and just want to continue to upsell additional services which can be just covered by this basic package.
